Abstract

In this paper, we consider the relationships between the numbers of perfect matchings (1-factors) of bipartite graphs and Pell, Mersenne and Perrin Numbers. Then we give some Maple procedures in order to calculate the numbers of perfect matchings of these bipartite graphs.

Abstract

Bu çalışmada iki parçalı komşuluk matrisi n×n mertebeli (0,1)-circulant matrisi olan iki parçalı bir graf ele aldık. Daha sonra bu grafın mükemmel eşlemelerinin (1-factor) sayılarının Lucas sayıları ile arasındaki ilişkiyi verdik. Son olarak da bu mükemmel eşlemelerin sayısını hesaplamak için bazı maple prosedürleri verdik., In this paper, we consider the bipartite graph whose bipartite adjacency matrix is an n×n (0,1)-circulant matrix. Then we show that the numbers of perfect matchings of this graph are equal to the well-known Lucas numbers. Finally, we give some Maple procedures in order to calculate the numbers of perfect matchings of the bipartite graph.

Abstract

In this paper, we derive a formula for the entries of the integer powers of a certain type of skew circulant matrices of odd and even order in terms of the Chebyshev polynomials of the first and second kind. Finally, we give a Maple procedure along with some numerical examples in order to verify our calculation. Publisher's Version

Abstract

Bu tezde, bazı tridiagonal ve circulant matrislerin pozitif tamsayı kuvvetlerinin elemanlarını Chebyshev polinomlarına bağlı olarak veren formüller elde ettik. Daha sonra bu formüllerle ilgili bazı örnekler sunduk. Son olarak bu formülleri hesaplayan Maple 13 prosedürleri verdik., In this dissertation, we obtain formulas for the entries of positive integer powers of some certain tridiagonal and circulant matrices, in terms of the Chebyshev polynomials. Then we present some examples concerned with these formulas. Finally, we give some Maple 13 procedures that calculate these formulas.

Bu tezde, iki parçalı komşuluk matrisleri n × n (0, 1)−matrisler olan bazı belli tip iki parçalı grafları ele aldık. Sonra bu iki parçalı grafların mükemmel eşlemeleri sayılarının çok iyi bilinen sayı dizilerine (örneğin, Fibonacci Lucas Jacobsthal) eşit olduğunu gösterdik. Daha sonra, ele aldığımız bu graflar ve onların mükemmel eşlemeleriyle ilgili bazı örnekler verdik. Son olarak, bu iki parçalı grafların mükemmel eşlemeleri sayılarını hesaplamak için Maple 2016 prosedürleri sunduk. In this thesis, we consider some certain types of bipartite graphs whose bipartite adjacency matrices are the n × n (0, 1)−matrices. Then we show that the numbers of perfect matchings (1−factors) of these bipartite graphs are equal to the famous integer sequences (e.g. Fibonacci, Lucas, Jacobsthal). After that, we give some examples concerned with these graphs and their perfect matchings. Finally, we present Maple procedures in order to calculate the numbers of perfect matchings of the bipartite graphs. 68
