Bu çalışmada, Tunceli ili biyolojik atıksu arıtma tesisinde (TBAAT) gastrointestinal patojenler (bakteriyel gastroenterit, viral gastroenterit, enterovirüsler, insan parekovirüsleri, adenovirüsler, dışkı parazitleri) incelenmiştir. TBAAT 'nin giriş ve çıkış suyunda gastrointestinal patojen analizleri yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre TBAAT 'nin giriş suyunda enterohemorajik/verotoksin üreten Esherichia coli, salmonella, norovirüsler G1, norovirüsler G2, astrovirüsler, adenovirüsler ve Giardia lamblia ajanları tespit edilmiştir. Bu ajanlar TBAAT 'nin giriş suyunda mevcut olmasına rağmen, TBAAT 'nin çıkış suyunda gastroenterite sebep bakteriyel etkenler, enterovirüsler, parekovirüsler, adenovirüsler (EPA) ve dışkı parazitleri tespit edilmemiştir. TBAAT çıkış suyunda viral ajanlardan olan norovirüsler G2, astrovirüsler ve adenovirüsler pozitif (+) olarak tespit edilmiştir., In this study, gastrointestinal pathogens (bacterial gastroenteritis, viral gastroenteritis, enteroviruses, human parechovirus, adenoviruses, stool parasites) in Tunceli biological wastewater treatment plant (TBAAT) are investigated. Although these agents are present in the influents of TBAAT, bacterial agents causing gastroenteritis, enteroviruses, parechoviruses, adenoviruses (EPA) and stool parasites are not detected in effluents of the TBAAT. Noroviruses G2, astroviruses and adenoviruses from viral agents were detected as positive (+) in effluents of the TBAAT.

In this study, SARS-CoV-2 and gastrointestinal pathogens in a municipal wastewater treatment plant (MWWTP) in Elazığ (Turkey) were investigated. The gastrointestinal pathogen analyzes were performed in influent and effluent of MWWTP, and SARS-CoV-2 analyzes were performed in different treatment units. According to obtained analysis results, gastrointestinal pathogens (bacterial, viral, EPA, and stool parasites) were detected in influent of the MWWTP. Enterohemorragic/verotoxin-producing Ecsherichia coli, all viral agents causing gastroenteritis (except sapoviruses (Sapo)), human parechovirus (HPeV) and adenoviruses from EPA, and Giardia lamblia from stool parasites were detected in effluents of the MWWTP. When bacterial agents causing gastroenteritis, viral agents, EPA, and stool parasites were investigated in the effluent of MWWTP, only 1 agent out of 7, 4 agents out of 6, 2 agents out of 3, and 1 agent out of 3 was detected as positive (+), respectively. SARS-CoV-2 could not be detected in the samples taken from each unit of the wastewater treatment plant. As a result, according to research findings, since pathogens are encountered in wastewater treatment plant effluents, it is necessary to have a disinfection system in the treatment plants and to monitor pathogens and SARS-CoV-2 continuously in order to protect environmental and human health., Bu çalışmada, Elazığ'da (Türkiye) bir kentsel atıksu arıtma tesisinde (AAT) SARS-CoV-2 ve gastrointestinal patojenler araştırılmıştır. Gastrointestinal patojen analizleri AAT giriş ve çıkış sularında, SARS-CoV-2 analizleri ise arıtma tesisinin farklı ünitelerinde yapılmıştır. Elde edilen analiz sonuçlarına göre AAT’nin girişinde gastrointestinal patojenler (bakteriyel, viral, EPA ve dışkı parazitleri) tespit edilmiştir. AAT'nin atıksularında enterohemorragik / verotoksin üreten Esherichia coli, gastroenterite neden olan tüm viral ajanlar (sapovirüsler (Sapo) hariç), insan parekovirüs (HPeV) ve EPA'dan adenovirüsler ve dışkı parazitlerinden Giardia lamblia tespit edilmiştir. AAT çıkışında gastroenterite neden olan bakteriyel ajanlar, viral ajanlar, EPA ve dışkı parazitleri incelendiğinde 7'de sadece 1, 6'da 4, 3'te 2 ve 3'te 1 ajan pozitif (+) olarak tespit edilmiştir. Atık su arıtma tesisinin her bir ünitesinden alınan numunelerde SARS-CoV-2 tespit edilememiştir. Sonuç olarak, araştırma bulgularına göre, atık su arıtma tesisi atık sularında patojenlerle karşılaşıldığından, çevre ve insan sağlığını korumak için arıtma tesislerinde dezenfeksiyon sistemine sahip olmak ve patojenleri ve SARS-CoV-2'yi sürekli izlemek gerekmektedir.

In this study, the evaluation of the recovery of aquatic plants used inwastewater treatment and discharged as waste is discussed. There are studies inthe literature about the removal of pollutants from wastewaters by usingdifferent treatment methods in wastewater treatment. Many treatment methods areused in wastewater treatment as biological processes, chemical treatment,membrane systems and so on. However, such treatment methods are not preferredbecause of high energy costs and high operating costs, which cannot be appliedto all kinds of water bodies. Therefore, natural treatment systems, which donot require much human power, can be applied to almost any kind of water masswith low operating costs and energy costs, can be used for the disposal ofpollutants. In natural treatment systems, treatment with aquatic plants isgenerally used. Because, treatment with aquatic plants are quite economicalwhen compared with other advanced treatment methods. Harvested plants can beevaluated in biogas production and bioethanol production as an alternativefuel. In addition, harvested aquatic plants can be used in biopetrol andbiochar production by subjecting to pyrolysis treatment, thus recovering of thedischarged wastes can be ensured.&nbsp

In recent years, studies about the protection of wetlands have growing importance in our country. Therefore, detection of all pollutant sources which enter to surface waters and/or lakes is needed. Particularly wastewaters are discharged to surface waters and/or lakes in most regions. This causes increase of C, N, P which present in wastewater in water environment. As a result of this, the increase of nutrient causes pollution and effects the aquatic ecosystem negatively. Today, for the elimination of this problem, several methods are used for nutrient removal from wastewaters. Nurtient removal is achieved by using ducweed as Lemna gibba L, Lemna minor L., Spirodela polyrrhiza and Wolffia arrhiza. In our country ducweed can be used for nutrient removal because of their properties like accessibility in our country, high removal capasities, resistance to the negative conditions, being economical.

Some living species need vitamins required for matter modifications which are realized particularly through biochemical reactions, while some need a few of them or do not need any of them. The living organisms obtain those matters, which are essential for surviving, from their existing environments. Therefore, the quantity of vitamins in those environments should be identified. In this sense, the quantity of vitamins in wastewater treatment plants which are the environments of microorganisms also should be determined. In this study, the levels of B1 (Thiamin), B2 (Riboflavin), B3 (Niacin), B6 (Pyridoxine), B11 (Folic Acid) and B12 (Cobalamin) among vitamin B groups which can be dissolved in water were determined in water and treatment sludge of Malatya and Gaziantep wastewater treatment plants (Turkey). The levels of B1, B2, B3, B6, B11 and B12 in the samples obtained from Malatya and Gaziantep wastewater treatment plants were found out to be significantly different. The results are statistically significant with respect to p < 0.05 and p < 0.01. Such differences emerged depending on the characteristics of purified water and microbial characteristics. The determined vitamin levels were found out to be satisfactory for the vitamin requirements of heterotrophic microorganisms in both biological wastewater treatment and soil.

Antibiotics those supress growth of microorganisms or kill them are very effective bioactive materials which have biological origin or synthetically obtained. There are many antibiotics according to the effect manner of them and the microorganisms they effect. Antibiotics are used for human and animal health, food protection in food industry, health and growth of aquatic livings as fish and in hospitals and scientific activities in pharmaceutical industry. Antibiotics are the widely used pharmaceuticals in whole world. Antibiotics are used wrongly and excessively in developing countries. Furthermore, antibiotics could be sold in pharmacies even in markets without prescription. It should be born in mind that antibiotic usage has damages together with benefits. Therefore, required cautions have to be taken for the decrement of antibiotic consumption in our country., Mikroorganizmaların büyümesini durduran ya da öldüren antibiyotikler, biyolojik kaynaklı ya da sentetik olarak elde edilen çok etkili biyoaktif maddelerdir. Etki tarzlarına ve etkiledikleri mikroorganizmalara göre çok sayıda antibiyotik bulunmaktadır. Antibiyotikler insan ve hayvan sağlığı, gıda sektöründe besinlerin korunması, balık gibi sucul canlıların sağlığı ve büyümesi ve hastanelerde ve ilaç endüstrisinde bilimsel araştırma faaliyetleri için kullanılmaktadır. Antibiyotikler tüm dünyada en çok kullanılan ilaçlardır. Antibiyotikler, gelişmekte olan ülkelerde yanlış ve aşırı kullanılmaktadır. Ayrıca, antibiyotikler reçetesiz olarak eczanelerde, hatta marketlerde dahi satılabilmektedir. Antibiyotik kullanımının yararları olmasının yanısıra zararlarının da olduğu akılda tutulmalıdır. Bu nedenle ülkemizde antibiyotik tüketiminin azaltılması için gerekli önlemlerin alınmalıdır.

Antibiyotikler ilaç fabrikaları, evler, hastaneler, sağlık ocakları ve kümes ve çiftlik hayvanlarından kaynaklanabilir. Canlılar tarafından alınan antibiyotikler canlı metabolizmasında ya hiç değişmeden yada çok az dönüştürülmüş halde metabolizmadan atılır. Atılan antibiyotik kalıntıları klasik atıksu arıtma tesislerinde arıtılamaz ve doğrudan alıcı ortama girer. Alıcı ortamda antibiyotik kalıntılarının düşük konsantrasyonları mikroorganizma direncine, yüksek konsantrasyonlarda toksik etkilere neden olabilmektedir. Bu nedenle antibiyotik kalıntılarını içeren atıksuların arıtılması gerekmektedir. Bu derlemede, antibiyotiklerin kaynakları ve çevresel etkileri açıklanmıştır.

Günümüzde geniş bir kullanım a lanına sahip olan antibiyotikler, insan ve hayvan tıbbında tedavi edici amaçlar için sıklıkla kullanılırlar. Antibiyotiklerin bir kısmı metobolizma tarafından kullanılırken, kullanı lmayan kıs ımlar idrar ve dışkı yoluyla kanali zasy o na ve oradan da arıtma tesisine ulaşır. Arıtma tesisine ulaşan antibiyotikler klasik arıtma yön te mleriyle giderilemediğinden alıcı or tamlarda çevresel sorunlara neden olmaktadır. Y üzeysel sularda antibiyotiklerin yüksek konsantrasyon ları sucul organizmalar üzerine toks i k etki yapar lar. Antibiyotiklerin düşük konsantrasyonlar ı antibiyotik direncine sebep olmaktadır. A ntibiyotikler alıcı ortama verilmeden önce fiziksel, kimyasal ve biyolojik yönt em ler ile arıtılmalıdır . Bu nedenle antibiyotiklerin tespit edilmesi ve arıtılması önemlidir. Bu derlemede, antibiyotiklerin tespit edilmesi nde kullanılan analitik yöntemler ile antibiyot i klerin arıtımasında kullanılan metotlar açıklanmış ve tartışılmıştır., Today, antibiotics which have wide usage area are frequently used for the therapeutic purposes in human and animal medicine. While some of the parts of the antibiotics are used by metabolism, the unused paits reach to the sewage via urine and excreta and then reach to the treatment plant. The antibiotics which reach to the treatmen tplant cause environmental problems in the receiving environments because the could not be eliminated by conventional treatment methods. The high conce ntrations of the antibiotics in the surface waters cause toxicity on aquate organisms. Low concentrations of antibiotics cause antibiotic resistance. T he antibiotics should be treated by physical, chemical and biological methods before discharged to the re ceiving environments. Therefore, detection and treatment of the antibiotics are important. In this review, the analytical methods used fort he detection of antibiotics and the methods used fort he treatment of antibiotics were explained and discussed.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, sızıntı suyu arıtımı için Lemna gibba L. ile bitkilendirilmiş iki kesikli sistemde nutrientlerin ve KOİ, pH ve elektriksel iletkenliğindeki değişiminin araştırılması olmuştur. Bu amaç için, NH4 + -N, NO2 - -N, NO3 - -N, O-PO4 3- , KOİ, pH ve elektriksel iletkenlik belirlenmiştir. Deneysel çalışmalar farklı hidrolik alıkonma sürelerinde ve iki farklı derinlikte (5 cm ve 10 cm) kesikli sistemlerde gerçekleştirilmiştir. 5 cm derinlikteki kesikli reaktörlerde NH4 + -N ve O-PO4 -3 için elde edilen giderim verimleri sırasıyla %40,4-70,2 ve %18,8-32,0 arasında, 10 cm derinlikteki kesikli reaktörlerde ise sırasıyla % 39,8-68,1 ve %18,2-27,2 arasında olmuştur. Çıkış sularının NO2 - -N ve NO3- -N konsantrasyonları giriştekilerden yüksek olmuştur. KOİ için elde edilen giderim verimleri 5 cm derinliğe sahip reaktörlerde %52,0-58,0 arasında, 10 cm derinliğe sahip reaktörlerde %51,1-55,4 arasında olmuştur. Sızıntı suyunun başlangıçta 7,91 olan pH değeri, en yüksek 8,50 değerine ulaşmıştır. 5,59 mS/cm’ lik başlangıç değerine sahip iletkenlik, en yüksek 8,04 mS/cm değerine ulaşmıştır. The aim of this study was investigation of changes in the nutrients and COD, pH and electrical conductivity in two batch systems planted with Lemna gibba L. to treat leachate. For this aim NH4 + -N, NO2 - -N, NO3 - -N, O-PO4 3- , COD, pH and electrical conductivity were determined. Experimental studies were established in batch systems with two various depths (5 cm and 10 cm) and various hydraulic retention times. Removal efficiencies which were obtained for NH4 + -N and O-PO4 -3 in the batch reactors with depth of 5 cm were between 40.4-70.2% and 18.8-32.0%, respectively and in the batch reactors with depth of 10 cm were between 39.8-68.1% and 18.2-27.2%, respectively. The NO2 - -N and NO3 - -N concentrations of effluents were higher than the initials. Removal efficiencies which were obtained for COD in the batch reactors with depth of 5 cm were between 52.0-58.0% and in the batch reactors with depth of 10 cm were between 51.1-55.4%. pH of the leachate which had an initial value of 7.91 reached to a maximum of 8.50. Conductivity which had an initial value of 5.59 mS/cm reached to a maximum of 8.04 mS/cm.

In the present study, in-vessel aerobic composting was evaluated in terms of impact on stabilization of grass clippings (GC). The composting period was 22 days. The temperature, carbon (C), total Kjeldahl nitrogen (TKN), C/N ratio, cellulose, volatile solids (VS), moisture, pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total coliform (TC), fecal coliform (FC), heavy metals and radioactivity were investigated and the kinetics of degradation of organic matter was found during composting. The reaction rate constant of degradation of VS was found as 0.0372 day1 (R2 = 0.99). The VS decreased from 88.78 % to 83.51 % at the end of the process. The GC reached maximum temperature of 62°C within 1 day. C decreased from 49.32 % to 46.39 % while TKN decreased from 2.94 to 2.69 %. C/N ratio that was 16.78 at the beginning increased to 17.25. Cellulose increased after 22 days. pH increased from 5.97 to 8.26 and EC decreased from 1006 to 942 S/cm. Coliforms decreased during composting. The obtained composts contained heavy metals under the standards related to heavy metal. At the end of the composting process α-radioactivity greatly decreased and also the β-radioactivity decreased. 40K and 137Cs concentrations were also determined. In-vessel aerobic composting was effective to reduce TC, FC, α-and βradioactivity in GC used. According to these parameters, if such composts are used in soil, a risk for human health could not arise. Uçucu katı bozunmasının reaksiyon hız sabiti 0.0372 gün-1 (R2 = 0.99) olarak bulunmuştur. Uçucu katı, proses sonunda % 88.78’ den % 83.51’e azalmıştır. Çim kırpıntıları 1 gün içerisinde 62°C’lik en yüksek sıcaklığa ulaşmıştır. TKN % 2.94’den % 2.69’a azalırken karbon % 49.32’den % 46.39’a azalmıştır. Başlangıçta 16.78 olan C/N oranı 17.25’e artmıştır. Selüloz 22 gün sonra artmıştır. pH 5.97’den 8.26’ya artmış ve elektriksel iletkenlik 1006’dan 942 S/cm’e azalmıştır. Kompostlaştırma esnasında koliformlar azalmıştır. Elde edilen kompostlar ağır metal ile ilişkili standartların altında ağır metal içermişlerdir. Kompostlaştırma prosesinin sonunda α-radioaktivitesi büyük oranda azalmıştır ve β-radioaktivitesi de azalmıştır. 40K ve 137Cs konsantrasyonları da tespit edilmiştir. Reaktörde aerobik kompostlaştırma, kullanılan çim kırpıntılarındaki TC, FC, α ve β-radioaktivitelerini azaltmada etkili olmuştur. Bu parametrelere göre böyle kompostların toprakta kullanılması durumunda insan sağlığına bir risk oluşturmayacaktır.

In this study, in-vessel aerobic composting of kitchen wastes (KW) was investigated to suggest a solution for the environmental problem caused by huge amounts of wastes. The composting period was 22 days. The composting parameters such as temperature, carbon (C), total Kjeldahl nitrogen (TKN), C/N ratio, cellulose, volatile solids (VS), moisture, pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total coliform (TC), fecal coliform (FC), heavy metals and radioactivity were investigated. The reaction rate constant of degradation of VS was found as 0.0414 day-1 (R2 = 0.99). The VS of KW decreased from 92.47 to 86.87 % after 22 days. The KW reached maximum temperature of 55°C within 2 days. C decreased from 51.37 to 48.26 %. TKN increased from 1.43 to 2.45 %. C/N ratio of the KW decreased from 35.92 to 19.69. The content of cellulose increased at the end of the process. pH value increased from 5.5 to 8.29. EC increased from 769 to 959 S/cm. Both TC and FC decreased during process. The measured heavy metal concentrations in the obtained composts were under the standards related to heavy metal. α-radioactivity greatly decreased and also the β-radioactivity decreased at the end of the process. 40K and 137Cs concentrations were also determined. In-vessel aerobic composting was effective to reduce TC, FC, α-and β-radioactivity in KW used. As a result of the study, it can be said that in-vessel aerobic composting of KW would be suitable from the point of waste management and the usage of the obtained compost on agricultural soils would be a solution for the environmental problem caused by the huge amounts those thrown away. Mutfak atıkları 55°C’ lik en yüksek sıcaklığa 2 gün içerisinde ulaşmıştır. Karbon % 51.37’ den % 48.26’ ya azalmıştır. TKN % 1.43’ ten % 2.45’ e artmıştır. C/N oranı 35.92’den 19.69’ a azalmıştır. Selüloz içeriği proses sonunda artmıştır. pH değeri 5.5’ den 8.29’ a artmıştır. Elektriksel iletkenlik 769’ dan 959 S/cm’e artmıştır. Hem TC hem de FC proses esnasında azalmıştır Elde edilen kompostlarda ölçülen ağır metal konsantrasyonları ağır metal ile ilişkili standartların altında olmuştur. Proses sonunda α-radioaktivitesi büyük oranda azalmıştır ve β-radioaktivitesi de azalmıştır. 40K ve 137Cs konsantrasyonları da tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın bir sonucu olarak, mutfak atıklarının reaktörde aerobik kompostlaştırılmasının atık yönetimi açısından uygun olacaktır ve elde edilen kompostun tarım topraklarında kullanılmasının büyük miktarda atılan bu atıkların sebep olduğu çevresel problem için bir çözüm olacağı söylenebilir.

In this work, it was aimed to determine the degree of stabilization of various composts by determining their carbon mineralization in soil. The composts which originated from kitchen wastes, vegetable wastes and grass clippings were added to the soil. Then, these mixtures were incubated. During incubation period, CO₂-C evolution rates of controls were the lowest, and CO₂-C evolution rates of grass clippings were lower than both the CO₂-C evolution rates of kitchen wastes and vegetable wastes. Vegetable wastes had the highest CO₂-C evolution rates. After 9 days, CO₂ amounts of the soils amended with composts were close to the values of soil samples. It was seen that the maximum C mineralization in soil occurred at the initial stages of incubation. It can be said that composting would be useful to find a solution to environmental problems caused by raw wastes. As a result, it was determined that investigating carbon mineralization can be used for determining the degree of the stabilization of composts., Bu çalışmada, farklı kompostlann topraktaki karbon mineralizasyonunun tespitiyle stabilizasyon derecelerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Mutfak atıkları, sebze atıkları ve çim kırpıntılarından elde edilmiş kompostlar toprağa eklenmiştir. Daha sonra bu karışımlar inkübe edilmiştir. İnkübasyon periyodu boyunca, kontrollerde CO₂-C oluşum hızları en düşük olmuş ve çim kırpıntılarında CO₂-C oluşum hızları hem mutfak atıklarındakinden hem de sebze atıklarındakinden düşük olmuştur. Sebze atıklarında CO₂-C oluşum hızları en yüksek olmuştur. 9 gün sonra, kompost eklenen toprakların CO₂ miktarları toprak numunelerinin değerlerine yakın olmuştur. Toprakta en yüksek C mineralizasyonunun inkübasyon başlangıcında meydana geldiği görülmüştür. Ham atıkların sebep oldukları çevre problemlerine bir çözüm bulmak için kompostlaştırmanın faydalı olacağı söylenebilir. Sonuç olarak, karbon mineralizasyonunun araştırılmasının kompostların stabilizasyon derecesini tespitte kullanılabileceği belirlenmiştir.

Atık su arıtımının hedeflerinden biri de mikrobiyal patojenlerin çevre ve halk sağlığına zarar vermeden uzaklaştırılmasıdır. Bu çalışmada, Elazığ Belediyesi Atık Su Arıtma Tesisi giriş ve çıkış sularında çevre ve halk sağlığını tehdit eden helmint yumurtalarının bir yıllık süre ile aylık olarak incelenmesi ve elde edilen sonuçların değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. İnceleme örneklerinde bir tür Trematod (Dicrocoelium spp), bir tür Cestod (Taenia spp.) ve üç tür Nematod’a (Trichuris spp., Toxocara spp. ve Ascaris spp.) ait yumurta saptanmıştır. Helmint yumurtalarının özellikle yaz aylarda giriş sularında daha fazla bulunduğu izlenmiştir. Tesis çıkış sularında helmint yumurtalarının azaldığı görülmüşse de, atılan helmint yumurta düzeyinin olması gereken standartlardan fazla olduğu saptanmıştır. Tesisisin, helmint yumurtalarını etkin olarak elimine edebilecek dezenfeksiyon sistemlerine ihtiyacı olduğu düşünülmüştür. One of the major goals of the wastewater treatment is elimination of the microbial pathogens before they become harmful for the environmental and public health. This study was done to monthly determine the parasite helminth egg types and concentrations for one year period, those threat the environment and public health in influents and effluents of the treatment sludge of Elazığ City Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant. Eggs from one genus trematod (Dicrocoelium spp), from one genus cestod (Taenia spp.) and from three genus nematode (Trichuris spp., Toxocara spp. and Ascaris spp.) were determined in the investigated samples. An elevation of the eggs was observed in the influents particularly in the summer season. Although, there was a decrease in the effluents, the excreted level of the helminth eggs was suggested as higher than it must be. The plant was thought to require disinfection systems which effectively eliminate the helminth eggs.

Bu çalışma, Elazığ Evsel Atıksu Arıtma Tesisi’nde oluşan arıtma çamurlarında parazit yumurtalarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla, farklı dönemlerde alman 14 kompozit arıtma çamuru örneğinin %71.42’sinde parazit yumurtası tespit edilmiştir. Kompozit çamur numunelerinde, 1 Protozoa kisti (Coccidia ookis-ti), 2 Trematod yumurtası (Dicrocoelium spp. ve Paramphistomum spp.), 2 Cestod yumurtası (Moniezia spp. ve Teaniidae spp.), 8 Nematod yumurtası (Bunostomum, Trichostrongylidae, Trichuris spp., Strongyloides spp., Nema-todirııs spp., Strongylidae spp., Toxascaris spp. ve Toxocara spp.) görülmüştür., In this study, the existence of parasitic eggs in sludges from Elazığ Wastewater Treatment Plant were investigated. The 71.42 % of 14 samples of composite treatment plant sludges taken in different periods were contaminated with parasitic eggs .It was shown that sludge samples contain 1 Protozoa cyst (Coccidia ookisti), 2 Trematodes eggs (Dicrocoelium spp. and Paramphistomum spp.), 2 Cestodes eggs (Moniezia spp. and Teaniidae spp.), 8 Nematodes eggs (Bunostomum, Trichostrongylidae, Trichuris spp., Strongyloides spp., Nematodirus spp., Strongylidae spp., Toxascaris spp. and Toxocara spp.).

Microorganisms are known that have active role in recycling of different kind waste into harmless form. To refıne wastewater a new stable mutant microorganisms can be developed using genetic engineering techniques. Genetic engineering involve the genetic manipulation of microorganisms for refıning of wastewater. Since refining process consist of various field, genetic engineering, microbiology, physiology, ecology, biochemistry, molecular biology and process engineering should make col[aborative stüdy. Any scientifıc discipline do not contain sufficient information to solve the problem of refining of waste and wastewater. Thus, it is difficult to define appropriate microorganisms and physical factors in environmental app[ications., Mikroorganizmalar farklı tipteki atık maddeleri zararsız hale dönüştürmede aktif rolleri olduğu bilinmektedir. Atık suların artırılmasında genetik mühendisliği teknikleri kullanılarak yeni ve değişmeyen mutant mikroorganizmalar geliştirebilir. Atık suların artımında kullanılan mikroorganizmalar günümüzde rekombinant DNA tekniği kolayca değiştirilmektedir. Genetik Mühendisliği, mikrobiyoloji, fizyoloji, ekoloji, biyokimya ve moleküler biyoloji bilim dalları arıtma işlemleri ile alakalı olduğundan arıtma sorunun çözümünde tüm bilim dallarının arasında işbirliği olması gerekir. Tek bir bilim dalı atık madde ve atık su arıtımı ile ilgili problemleri çözmek için yeterli bilgi içermez Ayrıca çevresel uygulamarda hem uygun mikroorganizma hemde fiziksel faktörlerin tanımlanması önemlidir.

öz Birçok pestisid ilacın ve kimyasal maddenin mutagenik etkisinden dolayı piyasaya yeni sürülenlerin mutagenik etkisini incelemek için değişik test sistemleriyle sitogenetik çalışmalar başlatılmıştır. İnsektisid sentetik pyrethroidler sebze, meyve ve tarla bitkileri gibi çeşitli gıda ürünlerine saldırıda bulunan böceklerin kontrolü için tavsiye edilen ve yaygın olarak kullanılan bir bitki korama ilacıdırlar. Bunlar ev haşerelerine karşı da zehirli etkiye sahiptirler. Mavrık 2F (48-24-12 ppm), Sumicidin % 20 EC (38-19-9.5 ppm), Meothrin % 20 EC (37-18.5-9.25 ppm), Imperator (50-25-12.5 ppm), Baymroid EC 050 (100-50-25 ppm) ve Talstar EC 100 (20-10-5 ppm) 'ün belirtilen dozlarında köklendirilmiş 1.5-3 cm 'lik soğan kök uçları 4-8-24 ve 48 saat muamele gördü ve bu süre bitiminde kök uçları yıkanıp 1.5-3 cm'lik kök uçları kesilerek farmer (3 kısım alkol ve l kısım asetik asit) çözeltisinde fîkse edildi. Sitogenetik gözlemler de her dozun her süresi için, feulgen 'le boyanmış kök uçlarından kök ucu ezme preparatı yapılıp mikroskopta incelenmiştir. Kontrol grubu da ilaçsız olarak aynı şekilde işleme tabi tutulmuştur. Kontrol numuneleriyle mukayesede her ilacın 3 dozu da mitotik evrelerin gerek oluşum gerekse dağılımında düzensizlik meydana getirmiş, mitotik indekste düşüşe neden olmuş ve mitozun önlenmesine sebebiyet vermiştir. Profazda kromozom yoğunluğunda anormallikler, metafazda metafaz birikimi, kromozomal yapışkanlık ve kümeleşme, anafaz ve telofaz 'da köprü, anafaz ve telofaz sayısında azalma kullanılan ilaçların tümünün meydana getirdiği anormalliklerdir. İlaçtan ilaca değişen yani kimisinde görülüp kimisinde görülmeyen veya birkaçında gözlenen ortak anormallikler ise şunlardır: Profazın çözülmesi, düzensiz metafaz ve anafazlar, anafaz ve telofaz 'da geri kalmış kromozomlar, poliploid metafaz ve anafazlar, mikronukleuslu ve iki çekirdekli hücrelerin oluşması. XVI Abstract Owing to the mutagenic effects of pesticids and chemical substances on plants, new sitogenetic researches based on test systems have been started to detect the mutagenic effects of the new pesticides and chemical substances offered to the consumers. Insecticides synthetic pyrethroids are plant protection substances commonly used and recommended in controlling the insects attacking vegetables, fruits and other field plants. They also have a poisonous effect on home insecticides. 1.5-5 mm. onion root ends, rooted in Mavrik 2F (48-24-12), Sumucidin 20 % EC (38-19-9.5 ppm), Imperator (50-25-12.5 ppm), Meothrin 20 % EC (37-18.5-9.25 ppm), Baythroid EC 050 (100-50-25 ppm), and Talstar EC 100 (20-10-5 ppm) were treated for 4, 8, 24 and 48 hours at 20-22 °C and then were washed and cut in 1.5-3 cm and fixed in farmer solution. In sitogenetic observations, for each duration of each dose, root ends were mashed and preparates were prepared from them dyed with feulgen. The controlled group untreated with insecticides was subjected to observations as well. When compared with control samples, it was observed that three different doses of each insecticides affected the formation of mitotic phases and caused irregularities in their distribution, an decrease in mitotic index and prevented the mitotic activity. Abnormalia in the density of chromosomes in prophase, metaphase accumulations in metaphase, chromosomal stickyness and heaping, bridges in anaphase and telophase, increase in anaphase and telophase are all the result of insecticides used. Abnormalia in common observed in connection with the use of insecticides are; Prophase dissolution, irregular metaphase and anaphase, lagging chromosoms in anaphase and telophase, polipoloid anaphase and metaphase, micronucleus of cells with two or polynucleus.It was observed that the increase in abnormalities was closely related with the amount of dose and duration applied.
