Purpose: To evaluate the incidence, risk factors and outcomes of conversion from laparoscopic to open surgery in geriatric patients with colorectal cancer (CRC). Methods: All patients subjected to laparoscopic procedures for CRC between 2006 and 2018 were included. Patients older than 70 were divided into these necessitating or not necessitating conversion to open surgery (Con>70 and Lap>70 groups, respectively), and those younger than 70 requiring conversion were evaluated in Con70 group and the two other groups. Results: Conversion was significantly more common in Con>70 group than Con70 group than those in Lap>70 group. When conversion groups were compared, the rates of surgical site infection and evisceration were higher in geriatric patients. Pathological results revealed that Con>70 group had more advanced tumors than Lap>70 group regarding pT stage, number of malignant lymph nodes and perineural invasion rate. However, the numbers of harvested lymph nodes were similar in two groups. Conclusion: Conversion rate is higher in geriatric patients, particularly in female patients and those who necessitate multivisceral resections. Conversion worsens the perioperative outcomes in geriatric patients. Finally, since the number of harvested lymph nodes does not decrease with conversion, it probably does not threaten the quality of oncological surgery.

Today, computer games areplayed widely by individuals of almost all ages for purposes such asentertainment, learning and for at least to some extent unwinding from theexhaustion that house and work life causes. Games to improve both physicalskills of children and their mental activities have been designed especiallyrecently. These games are developed by business organizations for profit, butthey can also be developed by the Ministry of National Education to enhanceschool success of students. Students, who spend so much time on computer gamesat home, school or places like internet cafes; encounter psychological problemssuch as physical and behavioral disorders, social phobia and school phobia dueto uncontrolled and uninspected computer games playing process. Thesepsychological problems cause loneliness in children by detracting them fromsocial and learning environments. Secondary school students’ game addictionsand their effect on loneliness was examined. The study group of the studyconsisted of grade five, six, seven and eight students studying in a secondaryschool in the central district of Bingöl. The study was conducted with thescreening method, one of the quantitative research methods. The first datacollection instrument was the scale developed by Horzum, Ayas and Çakır Balta(2008) to determine game addictions of students, and whose reliability andvalidity analyses were completed. The other data collection instrument wasdeveloped by Rusell, Pepelau and Cutrona (1980) and translated into Turkish byDemir (1989) to determine the lonelinesslevels of students. In addition; gender, a questionnaire consisting ofdemographical information such as grade, mothers’educational status, fathers’ educational status, grade point average, incomelevel of the family was used in the study. Descriptive analyses on frequency,percentage and average, and relational analyses such as t-test and ANOVA werecarried and the items of the scale were interpreted. According to the studyresults, there are no significant differences between gender and gameaddiction, students with low game addiction levels have low loneliness levels,but there are significant relationships between daily duration spent on playinggames, grade levels, place where the game is played and addiction levels., Bilgisayaroyunları hemen her yaştaki bireylerce eğlenmek, öğrenmek, ev ve iş hayatınınverdiği yorgunluğu kısmen de olsa giderebilmek gibi çeşitli amaçlarla günümüzdeyaygın bir şekilde oynanmaktadır. Özellikle son yıllarda çocukların gerekfiziksel becerilerinin gerekse zihinsel aktivitelerinin gelişimleri için birçokoyun tasarlanmıştır. Bu oyunlar çeşitli ticari kuruluşlar tarafından kar amaçlıoluşturulduğu gibi, MEB tarafından da okullarda öğrencilerin ders içibaşarılarını geliştirmek amacıyla da oluşturulmaktadır. Evde, okulda, internetevi gibi yerlerde bilgisayar oyunları ile çokça vakit geçiren öğrenciler;kontrolsüz, denetimsiz bir bilgisayar oyunu oynama süreci sonunda çeşitlifiziksel ve davranış bozuklukları, sosyal fobi, okul fobisi gibi çeşitlipsikolojik sorunlara maruz kalmaktadırlar. Yaşanan bu psikolojik sorunlarçocukları yalnızlığa iterek sosyal çevreden, sosyal öğrenme ortamlarından uzaklaştırabilmektedir.Bu çalışmada ortaokul öğrencilerinin oyun bağımlılıkları ve yalnızlığa etkisiaraştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Bingöl il merkezinde bulunan birortaokulun beşinci, altıncı, yedinci ve sekizinci sınıfında eğitim gören öğrencileroluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın deseni, biri olan ön test - son test kontrol gruplu desendir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, 2015-2016 eğitim öğretim yılında Bingöl Halk Eğitim Merkezi tarafından verilen `Bilgisayar İşletmenliği` kurslarına katılan 69 kurs öğrencisidir. Araştırmadaki deney ve kontrol gruplarının oluşturulması amacıyla, 69 kişilik grup, evde internet erişimine sahip olma ve eğitim durumları göz önünde alınarak rastgele şekilde 32 kişi (deney grubu) ve 37 kişi (kontrol grubu) olarak ikiye ayrılmıştır. Kontrol grubunda yer alan öğrencilere yalnızca bilgisayar laboratuarı ortamında yüz yüze, deney grubu öğrencilerine de, bilgisayar laboratuarı ortamında yüz yüze ve özelleştirilen Moodle ÖYS üzerinden eğitim verilmiştir. Uygulama yaklaşık dört hafta sürmüştür.Yapılan araştırmada dört adet veri toplama aracı kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama araçlarından ilki, demografik bilgilerin yer aldığı sekiz maddelik anket sayfasıdır. İkinci veri toplama aracı, Elçiçek (2015) tarafından geliştirilen ve 48 sorudan oluşan `Akademik Başarı Testi` dir. Üçüncü veri toplama aracı, J. M. Dördüncü veri toplama aracı ise, araştırma sonunda yalnızca deney grubuna uygulanmak üzere Ateş (2013) tarafından geliştirilen ve 41 maddeden oluşan `Eğitsel Web Sitesi Değerlendirme Ölçeği` dir.Araştırma sonunda; uygulanan her iki yöntemin de öğrencilerin akademik başarılarını ve öğretim materyallerine yönelik motivasyonlarını arttırdığı fakat özelleştirilen ÖYS ile desteklenerek verilen eğitimdeki öğrencilerin akademik başarı ve öğretim materyallerine yönelik motivasyonlarının, yalnızca bilgisayar laboratuarında yüz yüze verilen eğitimdeki ortalamalardan yüksek olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca hazırlanan ÖYS' yi değerlendirmek amacıyla deney grubu öğrencilerine uygulanan ölçek maddelerine öğrencilerin genel olarak `İyi` ve `Çok İyi` aralığına gelen cevaplar verdikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Instability of the information today and its fast changing nature have also changed the human profile. Information society of the 21st century expect individuals to learn the information, absorb the learnt information, use them in real life and renew them according to changing conditions. This is possible with the spread of lifelong learning activities. Individuals with lifelong learning skills can become the qualified labor force that the market needs and have an effective role in global development.Lifelong learning activities are mostly being continued by various courses given by Public Training Centers under Ministry of National Education. Participants of the courses are adults who have passed conventional age of education and reached a physical and mental maturity.Purpose of this study is to study the effect of education given with the support of Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) customized according to transformative learning theory from adult education theories to trainees being trained at computer operating opened within Public Training Centers on academic success of trainees, on motivations towards training materials and to evaluate customized LMS. In line with this purpose, integrated evaluation in which direct and indirect evaluations are made together was carried out in this study. Research design is a pretest - posttest control group design. Study group of the study is 69 course students participating in `Computer Operating` course given by Bingöl Public Training Center during 2015-2016 educational year. To create research and control groups in the study, 69 people were divided into two groups as 32 people (research group) and 37 people (control group) considering having internet access at home and their educational levels. The students in control group were given training only face to face on computer lab setting while research group students were given on computer lab setting and also customized Moddle LMS. The implementation lasted for almost four weeks.During the conducted study, four data collection tools were used. First data collection tool was the questionnaire page in which eight items containing demographic information are located. Second data collection tool was the `Academic Achievement Test` consisting of 48 questions developed by Elçiçek (2015). Third data collection tool was `Training Materials Motivation Questionnaire (TMMQ)` consisting of 24 items, adopted to Turkish by Kutu ve Sözbilir (2011) and developed by J. M. Keller. Forth data collection tool was `Educational Website Evaluating Scale` consisting of 41 items and developed by Ateş (2013) to be applied only on research group at the end of the study.At the end of the study, it was found that both method increased the academic success of the students and their motivation towards learning materials; however, academic success and motivations toward learning materials of students in training supported with customized LMS were higher than the ones who received the training only face to face on computer lab setting. It was also determined that students mostly gave answers between `Good` and `Very Good` to items of the scale applied to research group students to evaluate LMS. Introduction: Lymph node metastasis is an important prognostic factor for patients with gastric cancer. The aim of this study was to determine the prognostic significance of metastatic lymph node ratio (MLNR) in pN3 gastric cancer. Bu çalışmanın amacı, boylu ardıç (Juniperus excelsa M. Bieb.) ağacının bazı fiziksel, mekaniksel, kimyasal ve anatomik özellikleri ile yüzeylerine uygulanan verniklerin adezyon direnci, yüzey sertlik değerleri ve odun renginin belirlenmesidir.Bu amaçla, deneylerde kullanılacak boylu ardıç ağacı (Juniperus excelsa M. Bieb.) Kastamonu Taşköprü Orman İşletme Şefliği Düzdağ mevkii'inden temin edilmiştir. Deney numunelerinin anatomik incelemelerinde ışık mikroskopu kullanılmış, odunun enine, radyal ve teğet kesitleri ile traheid boyları, lümen genişlikleri incelenmiştir. Uçucu yağ elde edebilmek için hidrodistilasyon yöntemi kullanılmış, yaprakların, kozalakların ve dal odunlarının ekstraktif madde içeriklerinin belirlenmesi için alkol-benzen çözünürlüğü deneyi uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca, numunelere soğuk su çözünürlüğü, sıcak su çözünürlüğü ve kül tayini işlemleri uygulanmıştır. Mekanik özelliklerin tespiti amacıyla odun örneklerine liflere paralel yönde basınç direnci, liflere paralel yönde çekme direnci, eğilme direnci ve eğilmede elastiklik modülü, liflere paralel yönde makaslama direnci ve brinell sertlik direnci deneyleri uygulanmıştır. Bunun yanında, boylu ardıç odununun renk değişimleri CIE(Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage) L*a*b* renk sistemi kullanılarak tespit edilmiş ve birbirleri ile karşılaştırılmış, odunun vernik adezyon direnci ve vernik yüzey sertlik ölçümleri yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, boylu ardıç odununda traheidlerin radyal ve teğet çeperlerinin her iki yüzeyinde de kenarlı geçitler bulunmaktadır. Özışını paranşim hücreleri ile traheidlerin karşılaşma yerlerindeki yarı kenarlı geçitler kupressoid tiptedir. Ayrıca, boyuna yönde paranşim hücrelerine de rastlanılmıştır. Odunun hava kurusu yoğunluğu 0,58gr/cm³, tam kuru yoğunluğu 0,55gr/cm³ ve LDN değeri %21,51olarak tespit edilmiştir. Boylu ardıcın eğilme direnci 64,72N/mm², elastikiyet modülü 4403,5N/mm², liflere paralel basınç direnci 35,42N/mm², liflere paralel çekme direnci 55,18N/mm², makaslama direnci 5,41N/mm², brinell sertlik değerleri enine kesitte 4,5 BHN teğet kesitte 2,79 BHN ve radyal kesitte ise 2,18 BHN olarak bulunmuştur. Kozalakların, yaprak ve dal odunlarına kıyasla en fazla ekstraktif madde içeriğine sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Vernik katmanlarında yüzey sertliği su bazlı vernikte daha tüksek tespit edilmiştir. Diğer taraftan adezyon direnci sentetik vernikte daha yüksek tespit edilmiştir. Benzer şekilde renk değişimi sentetik vernikte daha yüksek olarak tespit edilmiştir.Genel olarak ardıç odunlarının diğer birçok odun türlerine göre çürümelere karşı daha dayanıklı olduğu bilinmektedir. Çürümelere karşı ardıç odunundaki bu dayanıklılığının odun içerisinde bulunan ekstraktif madde içeriklerinden yada bu çalışmada bulunan %21,51 değerindeki düşük LDN değerinden mi kaynaklandığı üzerine yeni çalışmaların yapılmasında fayda görülmektedir. Benzer şekilde, ardıç ağaçlarının tıbbi ve aromatik özellikleri üzerindeki çalışmaların sürdürülmesi gerektiği düşünülmektedir. The purpose of this study was to focus on some physical, mechanical, chemical and anatomical properties of Crimean juniper (Juniperus excelsa M. Bieb.) along with its varnish adhesion strength, varnish layer hardness and wood color. The samples of Crimean juniper wood used in the experiments was provided with Kastamonu Taşköprü Forest Sub-District Directorate from Düzdağ areas. For the anatomical investigations of Crimean juniper wood, the transverse, radial and tangential sections, tracheid length and tracheid width of a test specimen were investigated under a light microscope. For chemical experiments, hydrodistillation method for obtaining volatile oil and alcohol-benzene solubility test for determining of extractive contents of branches, cones and leaves were used. Moreover, cold and hot water solubility, and ash determination tests were applied to the test specimens. In the case of mechanical properties of Crimean juniper wood, compression strength, tension strength, bending strength, modulus of elasticity, shear strength and brinell hardness tests were applied. Furthermore, the total color changes between varnished and unvarnished specimens were measured by CIE(Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage) L*a*b* and were compared with each other. Varnish adhesion strength and varnish layer hardness of the Crimean juniper wood were measured.The results of anatomical properties of Crimean juniper wood demonstrated that there were bordered pits were found in both tangential and radial walls of tracheid and half bordered pits in the cross field pitings were found as cupressoid type. Moreover, longitudinal direction paranchyma cells was encountered. It was determined that air dry density of wood, over dry density of wood and fiber saturation of wood were respectively 0,58 gr/cm³, 0,55 gr/cm³ and 21,51%. The results also indicated that the bending strength, the modulus of elasticity, the compression strength, the tensile strength and the shear strength were respectively 64,72N/mm², 4403,5N/mm², 35,42N/mm², 55,18N/mm² and 5.41N/mm². Brinell hardness values were 2.79 BHN in tangential section, 2.18 BHN in radial section and 4.5 BHN in cross section. The cone of Crimean juniper tree has the most extractive content as compared to it's leaves and branches. The varnish layer surface hardness in water based varnish was higher than the one in synthetic varnish. On the other hand, the adhesion resistance in synthetic varnish was higher than water based varnish. Similarly, color change in synthetic varnish was higher than the one in water based varnish.In general, Crimean juniper wood is known to be more durable than many other wood species against to decay. It seems beneficial to evaluate new researches in regard with this durability of Crimean juniper wood against the wood decays depends on whether the extractive components of wood itself or low fiber saturation point (FSP) which was found as 21,51% in this study. In addition, the studies on the aromatic and medicinal properties of Crimean juniper wood shall be continued. 122

Amaç: Bu çalışmada sağlık çalışanlarının hasta hakları ve ilgili ihlal raporları hakkındaki farkındalıklarının ve bunu etkileyen faktörlerin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.Gereç ve Yöntemler: 3. basamak sağlık hizmeti veren devlet hastanelerinde görev yapan sağlık çalışanlarında "Hasta Hakları Yönetmeliği"ni temel alan bir çalışma formu oluşturuldu. Bu çalışmada sağlık çalışanlarının Demografik özellikleri ile hasta haklarıyla ilgili bilgi düzeyleri ve hasta haklarıyla ilgili kural ihlalleri hakkındaki durumları değerlendirildi.Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan 263 katılımcının 212'si (% 80.6) kadın, yaş ortalamaları 34.2±8.8 ve hasta hakları ile ilgili aldıkları toplam puan ortalamaları 67.9±11.2 idi. 149 katılımcı (59.1%) iyi düzeyde bilgilenmiş olduklarına inanıyorlardı, fakat diğerleriyle kıyaslandığında benzer ihlal raporları vardı (p>0.05). An abdominal incision is generally accepted to be a necessity for the extraction of the specimen during laparoscopic colorectal surgery, except the cases receive an abdominoperineal excision. Exceptionally more minimally invasive incisions and natural orifice techniques have been reported. Current study aims to describe previous stoma site as a novel location for specimen extraction. We have reported two cases (a 80-year-old male and a 73-year-old female), for whom resection of rectal or rectosigmoidal tumors could not be achieved, and a diverting colostomy was decided at the time of previous laparotomy. Patients were referred to our hospital for further evaluation, and a laparoscopic anterior or low anterior resection was achieved in both cases. Previous stoma sites were used for the extraction of the tumor, however the stoma site was lengthened with 1.5 cm long incision in a case. Previous stoma site was used for the location of diverting ileostomy in the patient who received low anterior resection. No intra- or postoperative complication was occurred, and both cases were discharged from the hospital on day 6. We believe that previous stoma sites may be considered as the locations for specimen extraction in suitable patients in order to eliminate the necessity of an abdominal incision during laparoscopic colorectal surgery.

A descriptive survey study was conducted between January 2006 and December 2011 among 44 patients (18 women, 26 men) with a permanent stoma receiving care at the Kartal Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey, to evaluate socio-demographic factors that may affect the quality of life in Turkish Muslim patients with an enteral stoma. A socio-demographic questionnaire, a 10-item Religious Orientation Scale (Modified Allport-Ross ROS), and the Medical Outcomes Study Short Form 36 Quality of Life survey were administered by a stoma therapy nurse at least 6 months after completion of all surgical and oncological treatments. The mean follow-up period was 15.3 +/- 9.7 (range 6-44) months since completion of all treatments. Data were collected using paper/pencil instruments and entered for data analysis using Student's t-tests or one-way ANOVA univariate and multivariate analyses. No significant differences were observed for income, education level, surgical history, or religion score. Gender, geographic region, and household status were found independently related to quality of life in stoma patients. Female patients had significantly lower scores than males in general health perception (P=0.049), role emotion (P=0.02), mental health perception (P=0.026), and mental component (P=0.007). Hastalık ortaya çıktıktan sonra hem tedavisi çok pahalı olmakta hem de kişinin sağlık düzeni artık bozulmuş olduğundan bünyenin eski performansına kavuşması çok zor olmaktadır. Persons with an acute or chronic disease may be excused from this obligation; the degree of the disease is an important parameter for not fasting. Little is known about the effect of fasting on persons with a stoma. A prospective study was conducted among 56 patients with a cancer-related fecal stoma (33 [58.9%] male, mean age 55.9 +/- 13.1 years) over two periods of Ramadan to analyze the effect of fasting 15 to 16 hours on nutritional and metabolic status and quality of life. Eligible patients were divided into two groups: fasting (n = 14) and nonfasting (n = 42). Demographic and stoma information, as well aS disease and treatmentrelated variables, were evaluated. Participants completed cancer patient and colorectal cancer patient quality-of-life in and rated their religious orientation. Laboratory tests (blood urea nitrogen, creatinin, cholesterol, prealbumin, albumin, and transferrin) were performed 1 to 3 weeks before Ramadan, and questionnaires and tests were repeated 1 to 3 weeks after Ramadan in people who fasted. Demographic parameters, including religious orientation scale scores, were similar between fasting and nonfasting groups. Patients in the fasting group had significantly higher albumin levels (4.6 +/- 0.2 versus 4.1 +/- 0.4, P = 0.001), prealbumin levels (27.6 +/- 7.4 versus 21.3 +/- 8.5, P = 0.018), and global health status scores (81.5 16.7 versus 68.3 +/- 20.1, P = 0.030) than patients in the nonfasting group. Patients who fasted also had their stoma for a longer period of time than patients in the nonfasting group (average 9 months [range 3-87 months] in the fasting versus 4.5 months [range 3-36 months] in the nonfasting group, P = 0.084), and the proportion of patients with a permanent stoma was higher in the fasting group than in the nonfasting group (P = 0.051). Ramadan fasting had almostno influence on quality of life. Fasting lowered prealbumin levels (27.6 +/- 7.4 versus 21.2 +/- 4.4; P = 0.046), but did not adversely affect other nutritional or global health status variables. Most patients in the fasting group (13, 92.9%) stated they would feel sad if they were not fasting. The results of this study suggest that although fasting may decrease prealbumin levels, persons with a stoma and good nutritional status may decide for themselves whether to fast.

Travma sonrası abdominal duvarın herniasyonu nadir görülen bir durumdur. Bu tip hernilerin tanımı ve tanısı zordur. Tanı ve tedavide gecikmenin morbidite ve mortalite oranlarını artıracağı aşikardır. Bu yazıda traktör devrilmesi sonrası çoklu travma tanısıyla acil servise yatırılan 53 yaşında erkek olgu sunuldu. Hasta ameliyata alındı, posterior üretra laserasyonu sorunsuz bir şekilde tamir edildi. Fakat ameliyat sonrası dördüncü günde sistemik enflamatuvar cevap sendromu bulguları gelişti. Yapılan bilgisayarlı batın tomografisinde (BBT) sigmoid kolon segmentinin batın duvarına fıtıklaştığı görüldü. Laparotomide sigmoid kolonun fıtık sahasına perfore olduğu ve alanı kontamine ettiği görüldü. Etkilenen sigmoid kolon segmenti rezeke edilerek Hartman tipi uç kolostomi uygulandı. Çevre nekrotik dokular debride edildi. Travmatik karın duvarı hernileri özellikle geç kalınması durumlarında içi boş organların inkarserasyon ve perforasyonuna yol açarak ciddi morbidite ve mortaliteye sebep olabilirler. Bu nedenle travmatik herni olasılığı ciddi künt batın travmalı olgularda mutlaka akılda tutulmalı ve şüpheli olgularda yüksek tanı değerine sahip BBT uygulanmalıdır. Abdominal wall hernia due to trauma is a rare condition. Diagnosis of this type of hernia still remains a major obstacle. Any delay in diagnosis and treatment will increase morbidity and mortality rates. We presented a case of a 53-year-old male patient admitted to our emergency department for multiple body traumas caused by a tumbling tractor. Patient received an urgent operation and urethral laceration was repaired. On the fourth postoperative day, systemic inflammatory response symptoms occurred. Computer tomography (CT) scan examinations revealed herniation of a sigmoid colon segment through the abdominal wall. We proceed with an exploratory laparotomy. A perforated sigmoid colon segment was detected at the herniation site. This segment was resected and a Hartman style end colostomy was done. Surrounding tissues and debris were dissected very carefully. Traumatic abdominal wall hernias can have high morbidity and mortality rates due to incarceration and perforation of tubular hollow organs, especially if there is any delay. The possibility of traumatic hernia should always be considered in cases with serious blunt trauma. CT scan examinations should be performed routinely due to their high diagnostic value in suspected conditions.

Retrorektal tümörler çeşitli tanı araçlarıyla teşhis edilen ancak tedavisi genellikle güç, ender görülen malignitelerdir. Kendilerini perianal sinüs olarak da ortaya koyan bu tümörler tamda gecikmelere neden olmaktadır. Kliniğimizde Ocak 1992-Ocak 2002 tarihleri arasında öpere edilen tüm kanserli hastalar retrospektif olarak incelendi. Tarama sonuçlarında ortaya konulan retrorektal tümörlü hastalarda kullanılan tanı araçları, semptomatoloji, yapılan operasyonlar ve patolojik tanılar irdelendi. Çalışmamızdaki 4 olguda (üçü kadın) ortanca yaş 28'di (24-32). Ağrı en sık semptomdu. Bir hasta pilonidal sinüs tanısı ile başka bir hastanede opere edilmişti. Hastaların hepsinde posterior yaklaşımla kitle eksizyonu ve koksiksektomi uygulandı. Patolojik tanıları nörojenik tümör (n=2), konjenital tümör (n=1), enflamatuar tümör (n=1) olarak tespit edildi. Perianal sinüs olarak da klinik bulgu verebilen bu tümörler daima akılda bulundurulmalı, şüpheli olgularda ayırıcı tam için diğer tanısal yöntemlerden faydalanılmalıdır. Koksiksin çıkarılması ile beraber yapılacak olan posterior yaklaşımla kitle eksizyonu bu tümörlerde yeterli ve güvenli bir tedavi yöntemidir. Bu çalışmada, kliniğimizde öpere edilmiş olan bu 4 olgu eşliğinde, seyrek görülen retrorektal tümörlerin tanısı ve tedavisini tartışmak amaçlanmıştır., Retrorectal tumors are rarely seen, can be diagnosed with various techniques and often the treatment is troublesome. The diagnosis can be delayed when these tumors behave as perianal sinuses. All cancer patients, were treated between January 1992-January 2002 in our department, were retrospectively evaluated. The diagnostic tools, operations and pathological results were assessed in patients with retrorectal tumors. There were 4 patients (3 female) with a mean age of 28 (24-32) in our study. Pain was the most common compliant. One patient was misdiagnosed and mistreated in another institution. The excisions of the tumors were performed with coccyxectomy via a posterior approach in all cases. The pathological results were neurogenic tumor (n=2), congenital tumor (n=l) and inflammatory tumor (n=l). Retrorectal tumors should be kept in mind as a diagnosis for the recurrent perianal sinuses. The local excision of the tumor with coccyxectomy may be an appropriate surgical technique for the treatment of these tumors. To analyze the diagnosis and treatment of retrorectal tumors, with our experience of 4 patients operated in our department, was aimed in this study.

The optimization of abpvementioned network has been done with the criteria matrix, which is the most general case of optimization.
