Dr. Metin POLATÖZETYapılan bu çalışmada, bir tenis maçı sonrası oluşacak olan yorgunluk ve kas hasarı miktarının belirlenmesi ve 8 hafta süreyle uygulanacak olan kuvvet antrenmanlarının bu hasar miktarı ve yorgunluk üzerinde nasıl bir etki oluşturacağının incelenmesi amaçlandı. Çalışmaya Erciyes Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksek Okulunda öğrenim gören ve en az 5 yıldır tenis müsabakalarına katılan 18 yaş ve üstü 30 erkek tenisçi gönüllü olarak katıldı. Gönüllüler, 15 deney ve 15 kontrol olmak üzere iki ayrı gruba ayrıldı. Çalışmaya başlamadan 3 gün önce gönüllülerin maksimal 1 tekrar Squat, maksimal 1 tekrar Bench Press değerleri alındı. Üç gün sonra ise, gönüllülerin dikey sıçrama, durarak uzun atlama değerleri alındı ve daha sonra 3 saat süreli uluslararası kurallara uygun olarak tenis maçı yaptırıldı. Uygulanan tenis maçında her bir saatte eş değişimi yapıldı ve her bir saatlik değişimlerde ve maç sonunda tenis maçının gönüllüler tarafından yorgunluğun hangi şiddette algılandığı borg skalası ile tespit edildi. Ayrıca, oluşan yorgunluk düzeyinin belirlenmesi amaçlı, maksimal 1 tekrar Squat, maksimal 1 tekrar Bench Press, dikey sıçrama, durarak uzun atlama değerleri tenis maçından önce, maç biter bitmez, maçtan 24 saat ve 48 saat sonra alındı. Tenis maçı sonrası oluşan kas hasarının tespiti için, maç başlamadan önce, maç biter bitmez, maçtan 24 saat ve 48 saat sonra kan örnekleri alınarak, Kreatin Kinaz (CK), Laktat Dehidrogenaz (LDH), Aminotransferaz (ALT) ve Miyoglobin değerleri tespit edildi. Daha sonra her iki gruba da haftada 3 gün 90 dakikadan 8 hafta boyunca tenis antrenmanları uygulandı. Bununla birlikte deney grubuna tenis antrenmanlarına ilave olarak haftada 3 gün 90 dakikadan 8 hafta boyunca kuvvet antrenmanları uygulandı. Sekizinci hafta sonunda her iki gruba da bahsedilen ölçümler aynı şekilde tekrarlandı. Sekiz haftalık antrenman programı uygulamasından sonra, deney grubunda tenis maçından hemen sonra ve maçtan 24 saat sonraki CK değerleri antrenman programı uygulanmadan önceki CK değerlerine oranla anlamlı bir düşüş gösterdi. Antrenman programı öncesinde deney grubu ile kontrol grubunun aynı zamanlarda alınan LDH örneklerinde anlamlı bir farklılık yokken, uygulanan antrenman programı sonrasında ise deney grubu ile kontrol grubunun tenis maçından hemen sonraki ve tenis maçından 24 saat sonraki değerlerinde deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir düşüş gözlendi. Gerek uygulanan antrenman programı öncesinde gerekse de antrenman programı sonrasında deney grubu ile kontrol grubunun aynı zamanlarda ki hem ALT değerleri hem de Myoglobin değerleri karşılaştırmalarında anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilmemesine rağmen, antrenman programı sonrasında deney grubu lehine bir düşüş gözlendi. Dikey sıçrama değerlerinde ise, uygulanan antrenman programı öncesi ile antrenman programı sonrasında yapılan tenis maçı sonrasında, maçtan 24 saat sonraki değerlerde deney grubunda anlamlı bir artış gözlendi. Bununla birlikte, uygulanan antrenman programı öncesi ile antrenman programı sonrasında yapılan tenis maçı sonrasında, maçtan 48 saat sonraki durarak uzun atlama değerlerinde deney grubunda anlamlı bir artış gözlendi. Antrenman programı öncesinde deney grubu ile kontrol grubunun aynı zamanlarda alınan 1MT Bench press değerlerinde anlamlı bir farklılık yokken, uygulanan antrenman programı sonrasında deney grubu ile kontrol grubunun tenis maçından önceki, maçtan hemen sonraki, maçtan 24 saat sonraki ve maçtan 48 saat sonraki değerlerinin karşılaştırılmasında deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir artış gözlendi. Ayrıca, antrenman programı öncesinde deney grubu ile kontrol grubunun aynı zamanlarda alınan 1MT squat değerlerinde anlamlı bir farklılık yokken, uygulanan antrenman programı sonrasında ise deney grubu ile kontrol grubunun tenis maçından önceki squat değerlerinin karşılaştırılmasında deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir artış gözlendi. Sonuç olarak, 8 hafta boyunca uygulanan tenis antrenmanlarına ilave olarak kuvvette devamlılık çalışmalarının da uygulanılmasının, aynı şiddet ve sürede yapılan bir tenis maçı sonrasında daha az yorgunluk oluşarak daha hızlı bir toparlanma gerçekleştirdiğini ve bununla ilişkili olarak kas hasarı markerlerinda da anlamlı bir azalma oluştuğunu göstermektedir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Kas Hasarı, Tenis, Yorgunluk, Kuvvet THE EFFECTS OF STRENGTH TRAINING ON FATIGUE LEVEL AND MUSCLE DAMAGE AFTER TENNIS COMPETITIONMehmet Şerif ÖKMENErciyes University, Graduate School of Health SciencesDepartment of Movement TrainingM.s.D. Prof. Dr. Metin POLATABSTRACTIn this study carried out, it was aimed to determining the amount of fatigue and muscle damage to occur after a tennis match and studying how the strength training to be practiced for 8 weeks will have an effect on the amount of the damage and fatigue. 30 male tennis players aged 18 and over who study at School of Physical Education and Sports at Erciyes University and have participated in tennis competitions for at least 5 years participated in the study voluntarily. The volunteers were divided into two groups as 15 people in experimental group and 15 people in control group. Three days before starting to study, volunteers' values of one-repetition maximum squat and one-repetition maximum bench press were recorded. Three days later, the volunteers' values of vertical bounce and standing long jump were recorded and later, they were enabled to play in tennis matches for 3 hours in accordance with the international rules. In the tennis match practiced, partners were changed in each hour and how much fatigue the volunteers felt at each hour of the changes and at the end of the match was determined through the Borg scale. Moreover, in order to determine the amount of fatigue to occur, the values of one-repetition maximum squat, one-repetition maximum bench press, vertical jump, and standing long jump were recorded before the tennis match, as soon as the match ended, and 24 hours and 48 hours after the match. In order to determine the muscle damage occurred after the tennis match, blood samples were drawn by the volunteers before the match started, as soon as the match finished, and 24 hours and 48 hours after the match and so, Creatine Kinase (CK), Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH), Aminotransferase (ALT) and Myoglobin values were determined. Afterwards, tennis trainings were performed on both groups for 8 weeks as 90 minutes in three days a week. However, strength trainings were performed on the experimental group for 8 weeks as 90 minutes in three days a week in addition to the tennis trainings. At the end of the eighth week, the measurements mentioned for both groups were repeated in the same way.After the training program practice for 8 weeks, CK values in the experimental group showed a significant decrease after the tennis match and 24 hours after the tennis match compared to the CK values before the training program was applied. Although there was no significant difference in the LDH samples drawn by the experimental group and the control group at the same time before the training program, there was a significant decrease in the values of the experimental group and the control group in favour of the control group right after the tennis match and 24 hours after the tennis match after the training program was applied. Although no significant difference was found either before or after the training program practiced when compared both ALT values and Myoglobin values of the experimental group and control group at the same time, there was a decrease in favour of the experimental group after the training program. In the values of vertical jump, a significant increase was observed in the values of the experimental group 24 hours after the match when compared to the values before the training program applied and after the tennis match performed after the training program. However, there was a significant increase in the standing long jump values of the experimental group 48 hours after the match, when compared to the values before the training program applied and after the tennis match performed after the training program. Although there was no significant difference in the 1TM bench press values of the experimental group and the control group taken at the same time, there was a significant increase in the values in favour of the experimental group after the training program applied when compared the values of the experimental group and the control group before the tennis match, right after the match, 24 hours after the match and 48 hours after the match. In addition, although there was no significant difference the 1TM squat values of the experimental group and the control group taken at the same time before the training program, a significant increase was observed in favour of the experimental group when compared the squat values of the control group and experimental group before the tennis match after the training program was applied.As a result, this study shows that the practice of continuous strength trainings together with tennis trainings practiced for 8 weeks enables tennis players to feel less fatigue after a tennis match with the same intensity and time and help them recover more quickly and there is a significant decrease in muscle injury markers interrelatedly.Key words: Muscle Damage, Tennis, Fatigue, Strength 154
