Objetivo: O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar os motivos que suscitam a rejeição dos consumidores à ferramenta de coleta e uso de dados de navegação denominada remarketing.Método: Este artigo apresentou uma abordagem pluralística por meio de etapa exploratória e etapa conclusivo descritiva, baseada em três modelos teóricos de rejeição a publicidade. Homens e mulheres responderam a perguntas relacionadas a sua percepção sobre o uso de dados de navegação e o remarketing.Originalidade: Pela primeira vez, foi testado empiricamente a síntese dos modelos desenvolvidos por Cho; Cheon (2004), Kelly; Kerr; Drennan (2010) e Yaakop (2013) para analisar a possibilidade de rejeição dos consumidores com relação a um tipo relativamente novo de propaganda, o remarketing.Resultados: Os resultados apontaram um grande poder explicativo - 85%, sendo os constructos Desordem, Relevância, Invasão e Credibilidade os principais preditores do comportamento de rejeição.Contribuições: Devido a carência de trabalhos empíricos que versem sobre o assunto no contexto brasileiro, e as crescentes possibilidades de utilização de dados de navegação o presente estudo aprofunda os conhecimentos existente e dá suporte empírico para estudos subsequentes.

PurposeThis study aims to understand the extent to which packaging influences Brazilian parents' purchasing willingness based on children's food preferences for unhealthy food products.Design/methodology/approachParents, with children up to 12 years old, answered questions about the positive influence of the packaging on the children, the preferences of the children in their willingness to buy and the propensity to give in to the desires of the children. Data analysis was performed with the statistical software SPSS and Stata used for structural equations modeling.FindingsThe results back the outlined hypotheses and point out that the characteristics of the packaging positively influence children's preferences as well as parents’ who are prone to give in to such influences. In some relationships, there was a minute moderating effect of social desirability and social class.Research limitations/implicationsThe research presents as a limitation the nature of the sample, parents, to the extent that the influences of the packages on the children were analyzed from their perspectives.Practical implicationsFindings from the research can be used to think about preventive public policies to protect children as highly vulnerable subjects. Another practical implication is that the same marketing strategies that are used for unhealthy foods can also be used for healthy foods, improving their linkage to the children once there are evidences that packaging can positively influence their preferences.Originality/valueThe originality of this study is to focus on children's food preferences for unhealthy products and in parents with children up to 12 years old, which is not often investigated by researchers.

The growth and the popularity of online shopping have boosted the digital marketing and affiliate strategies. In order to detect the factors that drive consumers to join cashback programs, this paper proposes a conceptual model based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2). To the original model were added the constructs: Ease of Use, Personal Capacity, Perceived Risk, and Behavioral Aspects. The proposed model was effective explaining 67.2% of its variance. The results contribute to theoretical and empirical understanding on the intention to use and actual use of cashback programs, providing considerations for business.

A multiplicação de modelos de hospedagem compartilhada no turismo e o crescimento da plataforma Airbnb têm impactado a indústria de turismo. O objetivo desse artigo foi verificar, por meio do Modelo de Aceitação de Tecnologia Estendido (UTAUT2), os fatores envolvidos no processo de adoção e intenção de uso da plataforma Airbnb pelos usuários brasileiros. Caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa quantitativa do tipo survey, aplicada a 263 indivíduos que conheciam a plataforma. Como técnica de análise, utilizou-se a Modelagem de Equações Estruturais de Mínimos Quadrados Parciais (PLS-SEM). Os resultados apontam que os construtos expectativa de desempenho, expectativa de esforço, influência social e hábito, têm impacto sob a intenção de uso dos indivíduos. Ao ressaltar tais fatores, o estudo contribui para a identificação da motivação dos consumidores e da expansão do Airbnb no Brasil. Além disso, amplia o uso do modelo UTAUT2 para o contexto da economia compartilhada.

Purpose- The purpose this paper is to analyze the factors that influence the usage behavior of delivery applications. Design/methodology/approach- A survey method was used and a questionnaire was applied. The simple size comprised 344 respondents. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with estimation by Partial Least Squares (PLS) was used to analyze thirteen hypotheses proposed in the survey model. For the first time in Brazil, an article presents an assessment of the technology employed in the provision of the e-hailing sharing economy service from the perspective of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2 (UTAUT2), developed by Venkatesh et al. (2012). It aims at providing an understanding of the factors that predict the behavioural intention of the service. In order to achieve this goal, 311 users of the Uber service in Brazil were interviewed for a survey. Uber, as an e-hailing service, enjoys significant use in Brazil and worldwide. The analysis of the data was done by means of structural equation modelling methods. The results pointed out that the factors price value, performance expectancy and habit were the most relevant aspects influencing the customer's choice of e-hailing.
