Bu çalışmanın amacı 8 haftalık su egzersizinden oluşan yüzme antrenmanının, 9-11 yaş gurubu çocukların yüzme performansına, vücut kompozisyonuna ve farklı motorik özelliklere etkisinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışmaya, yaşları 9-11 yaş arasında değişen 60 çocuğun katılımı sağlanmıştır. Çalışmada ön-test, son-test deseni uygulanarak, çocukların vücut kompozisyonları ile birlikte 25 metre, 50 metre, 100 metre ve 200 metre serbest sitil yüzme dereceleri kaydedilmiştir. Yapılan yüzme antrenmanlarının, çocukların farklı motorik özelliklerinin geliştirilmesi ve yüzme performanslarının arttırılmasında etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir., The aim of this study is to examine tfe effects of swimming training of 8 weeks of water exercise on the swimming performance, body com position and different motoric characteristics of 9-11 age group children. For this purpors, 60 children aged between 9- 11 years were included in the study. İn the study, by applying the pre-test and post-test pattern, the children's body 25m, 50m, 100m, 200m, freestyle swimming degrees were recorded togerher with its composition, flexibility and vertical jump performances. It has been determined that swimming trainings are effective in developing different motoric features of children and increasing their swimming performance.
