Doğu ve Batının sentezlendiği Anadolu’da, yüzyıllar boyunca birçok medeniyetin kurulması sonucunda Anadolu toprakları farklı kültür, inanç, gelenek, görenek ve yaşam biçimlerinin merkezi olmuştur. Bu çeşitlilikler arasında farklı isimler ve tasvirlerle neredeyse her toplumun inandığı Hızır inancı öne çıkmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmanın amacı, Antakya’da nadir efsanelerden birine sahip olan Dursunlu/Hızır Aleyhisselâm türbesinin ve Hızır Aleyhisselâm inancının yerel halk tarafından değerlendirilmesidir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi tercih edilmiş veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile elde edilmiştir. Dursunlu’da gönüllü 16 katılımcıdan elde edilen veriler, MAXQDA programına aktarılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda, Hızır’ın yerel halk tarafından Allah’ın yeryüzündeki temsilcisi ya da kutsal varlık olarak görüldüğü, Hızır inancının köklü olduğu, Hızır’a dair çeşitli efsanelere inanıldığı, Hızır Aleyhisselam türbesinin insanlar üzerinde manevi huzur verme, kötülüklerden koruma, kutsama ve sosyalleştirme niteliği taşıdığı tespit edilmiştir. Son olarak, Hızır Aleyhisselam Türbesi’nin, milli değerler ve inanç turizmi açısından önem taşıması sebebiyle yerel halk tarafından korunmakta ve gelecek nesillere aktarılmaya çalışılmaktadır.

ABSTRACT Introduction Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is a frequently encountered neurological illness that has no effective treatment and imposes an enormous socioeconomic burden. Autophagy is essential for the maintenance of healthy cellular physiology, cell viability, and defense against pathogenic conditions. However, there is no study investigating the possible role of autophagy‐related proteins (ATGs) in RLS patients. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the expression and diagnostic potential of ATG3 and ATG5, as well as the relationships between these proteins and laboratory markers, depression, disease score, quality of life, and sleep in RLS patients. Methods A total of 49 patients with RLS and 26 healthy individuals were recruited for the current study. The severity of the disease was assessed using the international RLS rating scale. All participants were administered the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, the Quality‐of‐Life Scale, and the Beck Depression Inventory. The enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay was employed to quantify the expressions of ATG3 and ATG5. Results Serum ATG3 and ATG5 expressions were significantly upregulated in RLS patients compared to healthy controls (p = 0.005) and upregulated ATG3 and ATG5 expressions were relationship with the severity of the disease (p < 0.05). ATG3 was substantially correlated with the quality of sleep, whereas ATG5 was correlated with the quality of life and depression status (p < 0.05). The ROC curve analysis demonstrated that ATG3 expressions over 3146.5 ng/mL and ATG5 expressions over 4732.5 ng/mL may predict the presence of RLS (p < 0.01). Conclusion We report for the first time that autophagy may have a significant impact on the development of RLS.

Properly assigning weights to decision makers in a group decision making environment is one of the essential processes of utmost importance as it can have a direct effect on the final outcome. This paper, basing on the entropy method, proposes a correct and efficient way to objectively assign weights to decision makers in a multi-criteria group decision making environment. Two approaches namely, constant and variable weighting, have been put forward whilst providing necessary proofs and numerical examples in order to show one of the existing ways in literature is erroneous as it is not resulting in weights that reflects entropy method’s basic intuition.

Aim: This study aimed to investigate the frequency, clinical and genetic characteristics, and therapeutic options associated with Fabry disease (FD) in individuals with acute stroke and concomitant renal insufficiency. Material and Methods: An FD screening was performed on adult patients with renal dysfunction who were admitted to the neurology clinic due to acute stroke between 2015 and 2021. Screening was performed by a leukocyte α-galactosidase A (α-Gal A) enzyme activity assay using dried blood spot (DBS) samples from male patients. In cases where the enzyme activity was less than 2.5 nmol/ml/h, genetic analysis was performed. Female patients underwent direct genetic analysis. Results: Renal dysfunction was detected in 39 ischemic stroke patients and 5 hemorrhagic stroke patients out of a total of 401 cases. The enzyme level was found low in only one of the male patients. The c.680G>A (p.R227Q) mutation was observed in this male patient and a female patient. In the later stages of the study, it was realized with the help of pedigree analysis that these two cases were first-degree relatives. The same mutation was also detected in 13 first-degree and 2 second-degree relatives. The frequency of FD in our study group, which included patients with cerebral and renal involvement regardless of consanguinity, was 4.54%. Conclusion: Rapid detection of FD cases can be achieved by screening individuals presenting with multiple end-organ damages. To the best of our knowledge, this study highlights the underemphasized association between renal involvement and stroke in FD.

The study describes organic producers’ perceptions of organic livestock production, product commercialisation, use of contentious inputs such as allopathic antibiotics, antiparasitics and vitamins and bedding materials availability in Mediterranean (MED) and North/Western European (NWE) countries. A total of 426 MED (46.2%) and NWE (53.8%) responses were analysed revealing more difficulty finding information on alternatives to antiparasitics and antibiotics than on bedding materials. They identified ‘feeding/nutrition’, ‘animal health’ and ‘welfare’ as the most relevant topics in their farms. Whereas ruminants and monogastrics farmers in the NWE region also indicated ‘organic regulation’ as relevant, farmers rearing ruminant species in the MED region identified farm profitability and commercialisation. Farmers still mainly relied in conventional treatments but they often applied phytotherapy, although >61% of the participants did not treat their animals in the last year. If treated, most of them administered on average one course of antibiotic treatment per animal (>62%). In the MED region, the main sources of information on alternative treatments were veterinarians (>60%) and the Internet (>32%). In the NWE region, it was other farmers for producers including ruminant species (>63%) and veterinarians (>77%) for monogastric farmers. In the NWE region, direct commercialisation and through a cooperative and/or food industry were the most frequent channel used; while, in the MED region, they were the food industry and/or direct commercialisation. In conclusion, this survey provides novel cross-European insights into organic livestock producers' concerns. A particular value of the survey is that MED countries, which are often underrepresented, were well sampled.

Bu çalışmada evlilik akdinin sona ermesiyle birlikte kadının yaşadığı damgalanma sürecinin anlaşılması hedeflenmiştir. Boşanmış kadınlara yönelik toplumsal kabul/izolasyonun ortaya konulabilmesi, damgalanma ile ön yargılı bakış açısı ve tutumların hedefi olma sürecinin nasıl ve ne şiddetle görünür olduğunun anlaşılabilmesi hedefi doğrultusunda nitel desende tasarlanan çalışmada, 400.000’den fazla üyeyle Türkiye’deki en büyük katılımcı sözlük ve en büyük internet topluluklarından birisi olan Ekşi Sözlük’teki boşanmış kadınlara ilişkin söylemler içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Kullanıcılarına içerik üretme, kişisel görüşlerini yazılı, işitsel veya görsel yollarla ifade etme ve bunları yayma imkânı sunan bu platform, aynı zamanda anonimlik de sağlayabilmekte ve bu sayede kullanıcılar toplumsal normlara uymayan/uymadığını düşündükleri paylaşımlarını dahi yargılanma, linç yeme kaygısı olmaksızın yapabilmektedirler. Bir yandan özgür ve katılımcı bir özellik sergileyen bu yaygın sosyal medya platformunda yazarlık, seçilmişlik sonucuna dayanmaktadır: dil, üslup, bilgi ve yaratıcılık bağlamında iyi işler yapmak, yazar olabilmenin baş şartlarındandır. Tüm bu özellikleri, Sözlük’ü -paylaşılan bilgi ve içerikler öznel olup nesnel bir doğruyu yansıtma amacı taşımıyor olmakla birlikte- bir referans kaynağına dönüştürmüştür. Sözlük’ün ancak yaş-bilgi-eğitim-etik-yetenek-dijital toplumun şartlarına uyum gibi kriterler bakımından rüştünü ispatlayan yazarlara görüşlerini rahatça paylaşmaları imkânı sunan doğasından hareketle bu çalışmada Sözlük’ün boşanmış kadınlara yönelik toplumsal düşünceyi anlama ve analiz etme açısından önemli bir kaynak olabileceği düşünülmüştür. Ekşi Sözlük’teki boşanmak, boşanmış kadın, dul kadın anahtar kelimeleriyle yapılan ilk tanımdan (sırasıyla 02.11.2001, 26.11.2008, 12.09.2011) 08.09.2023 tarihli son tanıma kadar boşanmış kadınlara yönelik paylaşımlar içerik analizi ile incelenmiştir. Çalışmada Türkiye toplumunda boşanan kadına yönelik ön yargıların devam ettiği ve boşanmış kadının evliliği yürütememiş olmakla, neslin devamlılığını sağlayan çocuğu, ailenin kutsallığını ve toplumun refahını düşünmeyecek kadar bencil olmakla suçlandıkları anlaşılmıştır. Paylaşımlar boşanmaların artan istatistiklerine rağmen, boşanmış kadınlara yönelik sapkın ve güvenilmeyecek kadar tehlikeli algısının devam ettiğini yansıtmaktadır.

Objective: Previous research suggests that high levels of fibrinogen and low levels of albumin are associated with the occurrence of ischemic stroke and the severity of the disease. As a recently described rational parameter, the fibrinogen-to-albumin ratio (FAR) has been studied in several conditions associated with inflammation and pro-coagulation, such as retinal venous occlusion, coronary artery disease, and cancers. This study aims to research the usefulness of FAR when diagnosing ischemic stroke and the prediction of its severity and prognosis. Materials and Methods: The study involved 52 patients with acute ischemic stroke and 39 control cases between the ages of 18 and 80. The demographics, medical history, primary diagnosis, examination findings, imaging findings, and laboratory tests of all patients were derived from our hospital records. Stroke severity was classified into three groups: mild, moderate, and severe. The FAR values were compared between the stroke and control groups and between the stroke severity groups. For statistical analysis, SPSS 23.0 (IBM) was used, and P < 0.05 was considered significant. Results: Fibrinogen levels and FAR values were significantly higher and albumin levels lower in the patients with stroke than in the control group (P < 0.001). The FAR cut-off value was 6.65 for the diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke; it was more sensitive and specific than albumin and fibrinogen. There were no significant differences between the severity stages of stroke, the etiologic subgroup of stroke, length of hospitalization, and short-term prognostic effect on patients with stroke in terms of FAR, fibrinogen, and albumin (P > 0.05). Conclusion: This study suggests that FAR would be an innovative, sensitive, and specific diagnostic marker for patients with acute ischemic stroke. However, it would be insufficient to predict stroke severity, etiology, and short-term prognosis.

Toplumların evrimlerini düşündüğümüzde; demokrasi sistemleri, toplumsal bilinçleri, inanç sistematikleri, eğitimleri, kültürleri, sorun çözme yöntemleri vb. farklılık arz etmesine rağmen, modern ve gelişmiş toplumlar ile gelişmekte olan toplumların benzer sorunlar karşısında benzer çözüm yollarına gittiğini görmekteyiz. Demokrasilerin toplumlar tarafından sindirilmesi ve demokrasi kültürünün yerleşmesi kolay olmamakta ve birçok defa demokrasilerden geri dönüşler yaşanmaktadır. Ancak belli bir olgunluğa gelmiş olan demokratik sistemlerde ve demokrasileri gelişim aşamasında olan sistemlerde nasıl oluyor da bir sorun karşısında benzeri sonuçlar ortaya çıkıyor? Çalışmada bu durumun popülizm ile ilişkisi araştırılmaya çalışılmıştır. Tanımlanması ve genel hatlarının çizilmesi çok zor olan popülizmin kavramsal tanımlanması yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Popülizmin gerçek hayatta genellikle sağ popülizm şeklinde gerçekleştiği göz önüne alındığında, çalışma popülizm ve faşizm arasındaki ilişkiye de büyük önem vermektedir. Makalenin dikkat çektiği hususlardan bir diğeri ise liberal demokrasinin krizi içerisinde popülizmin oynadığı kritik roldür. Elitlere karşı halkı iktidara çağıran popülizm liberal dünyanın meşruiyet krizini çözme noktasında başarısız olsa da, demokrasiye yeni bir ivme kazandırma noktasında anlamlı sonuçları içerisinde barındırmaktadır.

Osteoarthritis is a common problem, and its incidence significantly increases with age. Patients suffer from excruciating pain while moving, and currently, major treatment options consist of surgery. Rilmenidine is a potent antihypertensive agent with a high affinity for imidazoline and alpha2 adrenergic receptors. Based on the knowledge that these receptors are also related to bone turnover and pain, we aimed to reveal the effect of rilmenidine on the osteoarthritis model in rats. Monosodium iodoacetate was used to induce osteoarthritis. Animals were treated with rilmenidine (0.5, 2 mg/kg) for 14 days. A hot plate test was performed to assess pain response before and end of the drug treatments, in addition to the walking track analysis. Twenty-four hours after the last drug treatment, serum levels of receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-Β ligand and osteoprotegerin were measured. Hematoxylin eosin and safranin-O staining were used to evaluate monosodium iodoacetate and rilmenidine-induced changes in the hindlimb joints. Our results demonstrate that rilmenidine(2 mg/kg) prevented monosodium iodoacetate-induced thermal hyperalgesia with improved walking behavior in the walking track test. Additionally, rilmenidine(2 mg/kg) prevents monosodium iodoacetate-induced increase in the nuclear factor kappa-Β ligand and osteoprotegerin levels in the serum. Histopathological analysis shows that rilmenidine is protective on the joint capsules and matrix. Our results suggest that rilmenidine shows an antinociceptive effect on monosodium iodoacetate-induced osteoarthritis via improving bone turnover.

ÖzAmaç; Cerrahi yoğun bakım ünitesinde çalışan yoğun bakım hemşirelerinin iş doyum düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel nitelikte yürütülen bu araştırma Marmara bölgesinde bir Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesinde kardiyovasküler cerrahi yoğun bakım ünitesinde çalışan 111 kişi ile tamamlanmıştır. Katılımcılar Minnesota İş Doyumu Ölçeği ile kişisel bilgi formunu içeren anketi yanıtlamışlardır. Verilerinin değerlendirilmesinde SPSS 21 programı kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin iş doyum düzeyi genel puan ortalaması 100 puan üzerinden 61,55±10,75 olarak saptanmıştır. Yönetişim kavramı günümüzde kamu yönetimi açısından yeni bir dünya gibi görülmekte bunun yanı sıra yerindelik ve katılımcılığın vurgusuyla her derde deva olduğu düşünülmektedir. Hem özel sektör yönetim teknikleri aktarımı, hem yönetim içinde etken ve edilgen olarak nitelenebilecek farklı grupların aynı potada buluşmasını öngören, çözümsel bir model olarak sunulmaktadır. Modern dünyanın en önemli örgüt modeli sayılan Weberyen bürokrasi ve türev modeller, eksik kalan kısımlarıyla eleştirilmektedir. Dönüşüm/devinim/gelişim devam ettikçe yeni modellere ve yönetimsel formülasyonlara ihtiyaç duyulması kaçınılmaz görünmektedir. Günümüzde, kamu yönetimi anlamında, Yeni Kamu Yönetimi (YKY) ve Yeni Kamu İşletmeciliği gibi modellemeler ve bu hibrit modellerin ortak lokomotif öznesi yönetişim kavramıdır. İdari yapılanma modellerindeki değişim, paydaş sayısını ve idari yapılanmanın temelini oluşturan mevzuatı da dönüştürmüştür. Çalışmada nitel yöntem benimsenmiş olup lüteratür incelemesi tekniği uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada; bazen bir sonuç, bazen de ise yönetsel/örgütsel değişimin önceli olarak ortaya çıkan idare hukuku alanındaki değişimin; idare-yönetim kavramları arasında teknik bir inceleme yapılmaksızın, yönetişim kavramı üzerinden anlatılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu anlamda, yönetişim kavramı, kavramı önceleyen/temellendiren kavram ve kuramlardan olan klasik bürokrasi anlayışı eleştirisi ile yeni kamu yönetimi üzerinden anlatılmaya çalışılacaktır. Sonuç olarak; bahse konu kuram ve kavramların yönetimsel teknik değişimleri ile örgütsel yeniden yapılandırmalar sonucu ile, idare hukuku alanının özel hukuk lehine daraldığı aktarılmaya çalışılacaktır.

The transportation of non-standard cargoes and related logistics operations are considered as a niche area that requires expertise. Logistics operations of non-standard cargoes must be carried out carefully in order to deliver the cargo on time and in undamaged conditions. Although a significant amount of literature has been published on service provider selection, there is no study in the field of project logistics. For this reason, it is necessary to investigate and determine the selection criteria for project logistics service providers. In the study, fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP) is used for project logistics service provider selection. The results are that for project logistics management, logistics service providers need to improve vehicle availability, cargo security, on-time delivery, etc. to become more competitive.

Kanun koyucu, çeşitli hükümlerde pay sahibi ve alacaklılara, şirketin zararının tazminini talep etme hakkı tanımıştır. Esasında doğrudan ve yansıma zarar ayrımı da bu noktada ortaya çıkmaktadır. Zira yönetim kurulu, pay sahipleri ve alacaklılara doğrudan zarar verebileceği gibi, şirkete zarar vermek suretiyle yansıma yoluyla da zarar verebilmektedir. Bu bağlamda kanun koyucu, yansıma zararın giderilmesi noktasında açık bir hüküm ihdas etmeksizin pay sahibi ve alacaklılara dava takip yetkisi tanımak suretiyle şirketin zararının giderilmesine imkân tanımaktadır. Zira pay sahibi ve alacaklılar, maddî anlamda kendilerine ait olmayan bir hakkın takibini yürütmektedirler. Öte yandan iflâs durumunda kanunen dava takip yetkisi, iflâs idaresine geçmesine rağmen kanun koyucu, belli şartlar dâhilinde alacaklı ve pay sahibine şirketin zararının giderilmesini talep hakkı tanımıştır. Nihayetinde çalışma, yönetim kurulu üyelerinin sorumluluğunda doğrudan ve yansıma zarar ayrımının kökenini incelemekte ve bu ayrımın gerek maddî hukuk gerekse usûl ve takip hukuku yönünden sonuçlarını ele almaktadır.

Aim: Fibrinogen and albumin are proteins that play a role in inflammation. In this study, it was aimed to investigate the role of fibrinogen, albumin, and fibrinogen/albumin ratio (FAR) levels as markers of disease severity and prognosis in coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients. Material and Methods: Seventy-one patients aged between 19 and 84 years diagnosed with COVID-19 who were hospitalized in Sakarya University Training and Research Hospital, Neurology Department between March and May 2020 were analyzed retrospectively. Fibrinogen, albumin, FAR, D-dimer, platelet, and C-reactive protein (CRP) levels of the patients were compared according to the length of hospitalization duration, survival, and clinical severity of COVID-19. Results: Twenty-eight (%39.4) of the patients were male and 43 (%60.6) were female, and the mean age was 55.7±20.7 years. Abstract Background The relationship between infant breastfeeding and type 1 diabetes mellitus (DM) is unclear but it has been suggested that there may be a link between many environmental factors, including dietary antigens affecting diabetes epidemiology. The main objective of this study is to investigate nutritional risk factors, especially breastfeeding early in life that may be associated with the development of type 1 DM and to determine the relationship these factors have with the disease. Methods This research is a case-control study and was carried out in Ege University Children’s Hospital in İzmir, Turkey between 13 January 2020 and 5 March 2020. A total of 246 children aged between 4 and 14 years were included in the study. The case group consisted of patients diagnosed with type 1 DM followed-up by Ege University Children’s Hospital’s Endocrinology Unit and the control group included non-diabetic children attending the same hospital’s General Pediatric Outpatient Clinic. A structured questionnaire was created by the researchers after reviewing the literature related to nutritional and other risk factors for type 1 DM. The questionnaire was administered by interviewing the parents and it was related to the child, mother and family of the child. In this study, breastfeeding duration was defined as the total duration of breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding meant that the child received only breast milk from the mother. Results The mean age at diagnosis was 6.30 ± 4.03 years for cases and 7.48 ± 2.56 years for controls. We found that each monthly increase in exclusive breastfeeding duration provided a 0.83-fold (95% CI 0.72, 0.96) decrease in the risk of type 1 DM. Introduction of cereals in the diet at the sixth month or earlier was associated with a 2.58-fold (95% CI 1.29, 5.16) increased risk. Conclusions Determining the contribution of exclusive breastfeeding to the disease is important in establishing preventive policies. A longer duration of exclusive breastfeeding may be an important role in preventing the disease. This free intervention that truly works will be cost-effective. Future studies are needed to clarify the role of both exclusive and non-exclusive breastfeeding on the development of type 1 DM.

Abstract Objective To investigate depression and sexual function among pregnant and nonpregnant women throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods A total of 188 women, 96 pregnant and 92 non-pregnant were included. The Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and the Arizona Sexual Experience Scale (ASEX) were applied to the participants after obtaining sociodemographic data. Results The depression scores of pregnant and non-pregnant women were similar (p = 0.846). We found that the depression scores were significantly higher among the group of participants who have lower economic status (p = 0.046). Moreover, the depression score was significantly higher among women who lost their income during the pandemic (p = 0.027). The score on the ASEX was significantly higher, and sexual dysfunction was more prevalent among women who have lower levels of schooling and income (p < 0.05). Likewise, the ASEX scores were significantly higher (p = 0.019) among the group who experienced greater income loss throughout the pandemic. Upon comparing the pregnant and non-pregnant groups, we detected that sexual dysfunction had a significantly higher rate among pregnant women (p < 0.001). Conclusion In times of global crisis, such as the current pandemic, low-income families have an increased risk of experiencing depression and sexual dysfunction. When we compared pregnant women with non-pregnant women, depression scores were similar, but pregnant women were at a 6.2 times higher risk of developing sexual dysfunction.

With the development of satellite techniques, satellite images and image classification algorithms are used more frequently to determine LULC (Land Use and Land Cover). The main purpose of this study is to perform the classification process with object-based and pixel-based image classification methods in the Yedigöze Reservoir area and to compare the general accuracies of the classification techniques. In this study, Sentinel -2B satellite image of Yedigöze Reservoir taken on June 24, 2023 was used. First, the image was classified by pixelbased classification using SVM (Support Vector Machines), ANN (Artificial Neural Networks) and MLC (Maximum Likelihood Classification) method. Then, the image was classified by object-based classification using the KNN (K-Nearest Neighbor) method. Using these algorithms, four classes were determined: water area, agricultural area, forest area and residential area. Overall accuracies were calculated as 92.92% for the SVM method, 92.42% for the ANN method, 86.71% for the MLC method and 93.18% for the KNN method. As a result of the study, it has been determined that all methods provide high accuracy and the object-based KNN method provides higher accuracy than other classification methods. Bu çalışmanın amacı, bir yanda modern çağın kaçınılmaz döngüsü diğer yanda ise gelenek, kültür ve aşiret dokusuyla oluşturduğu toplumsal desene sahip olan Van’da aşiret mensupları arasında gerçekleşen ve bir tabu olarak görülen boşanmaları sosyolojik açıdan irdelemektir. Karakteristik özelliği itibariyle dominant bir eril yapı özelliği sergileyen aşiret yapılarında, modernleşmeyle birlikte, birey ve bireyciliğin etken bir söylem olarak yankı bulduğu günümüzde, gelenekten uzaklaşma, kitle iletişim ve rasyonelleşme hareketleri beraberinde aile ve evlilik kurumunu temelinden sarsmıştır. Türkiye’de 2000’li yıllarla birlikte yükselen bir trend olan boşanma yalnızca modern toplumları değil dirençli bir yapıya sahip olan aşiret örgütlenmelerini de etkilemiştir. Van’daki boşanmış aşiret üyelerini odağına alan bu çalışmada, Van’daki boşanmaları geniş bir açıdan değerlendirmeyi hedeflediğinden 2001-2016 TÜİK boşanma istatistikleri ile birlikte Van’da aşiret üyesi boşanmış 5 kadın, 5 erkek ve boşanma davalarına bakan 5 avukat ile gerçekleştirilen nitel görüşmelerden edinilen geniş veri seti üzerinden çalışıldı. Geleneğin baskın karakteri ile bir tabu olarak görülen boşanmanın, günümüzde Van’da aşiret üyelerinde günlük hayatın pratikleri arasında yer edinmeye başladığı görülmektedir. Boşanmaların gerçekleşmesinde ise kentin sosyolojik dokusu yanında evlilik şekli, ailelerin rolü, aile içi şiddet ve aldatmanın baskın olduğu ortaya çıkmaktadır.

Türkiye’de yıllarca siyasetin yönünü belirleyen bir konu olan başörtüsü, özellikle kentleşmenin ardından muhafazakâr kadınların da kamusal alana açılmaları sonucunda daha fazla görünür hale gelmesiyle sorun olarak addedilmeye başlanmıştır. Çağdaşlaşma yolunda bir engel olarak görülmekle birlikte farklı zaman dilimlerinde yasaklama girişimleri ve tartışmalar alevlenerek fiili yasağı meydana getirmiştir. Başörtüsünün resmi olarak yasaklanmasıyla birlikte kadınların üniversite ve kamu kurumlarındaki görünürlükleri de engellenerek kamuoyunun gündeminde hep sıcak kalmıştır. “Türkiye ve Avrupa Ülkelerindeki Başörtüsü Sorunsalı” adı ile hazırlanan bu araştırmada ana konu, Türkiye’de ve bazı Avrupa ülkelerindeki kamusal alanda başörtüsü yasağının gelişimleri, sebep ve sonuçlarını incelemektir. Araştırmanın amacı ise adı geçen yasağın toplumsal bir sorun olmamakla birlikte siyaset sahasında sorun teşkil ettiğini ispatlamaktır. Nihayet toplumsal bir sorun olmayan lakin siyasal bir simge olan kronikleşmiş başörtüsü yasağı demokratikleşme paketi ile 2013 tarihinde siyasal bir sorun olmaktan da çıkmıştır. Bu fenomenolojik konuyu analiz etmek için yazılı kaynaklardan, bazı sivil toplum kuruluşları, dernekler ve araştırma şirketlerinin yapmış olduğu araştırmalar ve bilimsel eserler incelenerek literatür taraması yapılmış ve bu eserler tarihsel süreç içerisinde karşılaştırmalı olarak değerlendirilmiştir.

Kuruluş yeri seçimi tarımsal işletmelerin başarısı üzerinde önemli etkiye sahiptir. Tarımsal işletmelerde üretimin artması ve yüksek karlılığın sağlanması, kuruluş yeri koşullarından etkilenmektedir. Meyve üretimi yapan tarımsal işletmeler ekonomik koşullara bağlı olduğu gibi, iklimsel koşullara da bağlıdır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Malatya ilinde yapılacak kayısı bahçesi yatırımı için en uygun yeri belirlemektir. Araştırmanın verileri Malatya ilinin Akçadağ, Darende ve Merkez ilçelerinde 159 kayısı üreticisi ile yapılan anketlerden elde edilmiştir. Yapılan Analitik Hiyerarşi Süreci analizinde Akçadağ ilçesinin arazi maliyeti ve konumu, enerji ve suya yakınlık, zirai don riski az olması, uygun yağış düzeyi ve toprak yapısı bakımından kuruluş yeri açısından ilk sırada olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
