Conclusion. [Abstract Introduction. While the family environment plays a predominant role in early childhood, the widening of the relational circle also directs children eating behaviour. The nursery school is therefore an important place for nutritional education, taste, and food culture. Objective. To promote the importance of nutritional education from early age, in order to establish good eating habits. Material and methods. The study was a re-trospective descriptive one in two nurseries: that of Oran EHU (8 educators and 60 chil-dren), and a private nursery “les minions” (2 educators and 20 children). Two adapted questionnaires were used: one intended for parents of children in kindergarten classes on their nutritional knowledge, and eating habits of their children, and the other one was intended for educators of the both nurseries, inquiring about their practice of nu-triational education. Results. Fifty six % of children didn’t consumed breakfast daily, 87% of parents thought that their children had poor eating habits. Fifty % of educators esti-mated that the importance of nutritional education was poorly integrated in their edu-cational program. All the educators interviewed believed that the child eating habits we-re linked, among other things, to his lack of nutritional knowledge, often influenced by that of his parents. Conclusion. The kindergarten is one of the most favorable environ-ments to acquire healthy, and sustainable eating habits. The interest nutritional educa-tion of infants is to improve the nutritional, dietary, hygienic, and culinary markers.]

Conclusion. [Abstract Introduction. Nigella sativa seeds have a wide range of therapeutic applica-tions in traditional medicine. Objective. The antihyperglycemic power of Nigella sativa, particularly, expressed by its antioxidant potential was investigated. Material and Methods. The antioxidant power of Nigella sativa aqueous extract (AEq.NS) was first evaluated through two chemical tests: DPPH and the bleaching of β-carotene. After induction of diabetes with alloxan, the wistar rats were treated with 2 g/kg of AEq.NS for 8 weeks. Glycemia, and insulinemia were measured. Thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) were evaluated on serum, erythrocytes, and tissues (adipose tissue, liver, and pancreas). Histological examination of pancreas was carried out at the end of the treatment, in order to examine the effect of our extract on the Langerhans islets. Results. Metabolic disturbances, and histological changes of the Langerhans islets were observed, in rats after alloxan injection. Administration of Nigella sativa aqueous extract to diabetic rats reduced significantly glycemia, and serum, hepatic and pancreatic TBARS, and restored insulinemia. These results were confirmed by pancreas histological observation, showing a regeneration of the islets and their β cells, which could be explainned, in our opinion, by Laguesse sway theory. Conclusion. AEq.NS shows an evident antihyperglycemic, and antioxidant effect, at a dose of 2g/kg, in diabetic rats.]

The major end-points arising from cancer clinical trials are reviewed. These are: tumour response, treatment morbidity, survival with related data, and quality of life. A survey of tumour response data from 81 published clinical trials found the most common statistical test in use to be a Chi squared test of the total response rate, but a total of 21 different statistical methods were used. The various statistical tests available are reviewed, including the Mann-Whitney test and the Chi squared test for trend which make use of all the categories of response and their intrinsic order. The assumptions underlying the tests are described. Theoretical considerations support the Mann-Whitney test as the optimum choice for the analysis of tumour response data. Methods for comparing alternative statistical tests are summarised, and a new method is described which uses a number of typical sets of data to estimate the relative efficiency of two statistical tests by the median value of the square of the ratio of the z-values. Using this technique, and data from the 81 trials, the Mann-Whitney test is found to be around 40% more efficient than the Chi squared test of the total response rate (this increased efficiency is equivalent to increasing the recruitment to the trial by 40%).This practical result is confirmed by mathematical modelling of tumour response using the power relation of the Mann-Whitney test for ordered categorical data, which is derived. Clinical data is found to fit best a shift model which assumes homogeneity of treatment effect across the different grades of response. On the basis of this model, the Mann-Whitney test is found to be 30% to 110% more efficient than a Chi squared test of the total response rate. The similarities of acute morbidity data to tumour response data lead to similar general conclusions on the optimum method of statistical analysis. In a survey of 36 published clinical trials, the most common method of statistical analysis was again a Chi squared test of a dichotomy (such as no morbidity versus morbidity of any grade). Analysis of data from these trials shows the Mann-Whitney test to be more efficient by around 30%.A survey of 81 papers reporting tumour response in clinical trials found that few of them used methods of estimation of the difference between the treatments, or derived confidence intervals of the size of such a difference. Methods of estimation and calculation of confidence intervals were found even less often in a survey of methods of presentation of morbidity results. The possible reasons for this are discussed. It is concluded that the current methods of analysis of tumour response data and many sets of acute treatment morbidity data are not optimum, and a change should be made from the Chi squared test to the Mann-Whitney test. Such a change could be equivalent to an increase in recruitment into many cancer clinical trials of around 40%.

This rigorous work works - surprisingly - mostly with the topics contained in the title of the work. In principle, it is possible and necessary to state that the work solves a certain set of theoretical questions related to war, the army and state building. After a certain theoretical preparation, at an appropriate moment, it is transferred to the field of practice - the military organization of the Czechoslovak Armed Forces and the Czechoslovak People's Army on the territory of our Motherland - Czechoslovakia. Other content deals with the management of the state, society and military through concept. For example, the changing ideological image of the soldier of the Czechoslovak People's Army and the Soviet Army in the filmography depending on the changing implementation of management. Due to the fact that management is the dissemination of information, the fight for the dissemination of information, the so-called information war, is going on even now through this work.

The ECB is independent, but it is also accountable to the European parliament (EP). Yet, how the EP has held the ECB accountable has largely been overlooked. This paper starts addressing this gap by providing descriptive statistics of three accountability modalities. The paper highlights three findings. First, topics of accountability have changed. Climate-related accountability has increased quickly and dramatically since 2017. Second, if the relationship between price stability and climate change remains an object of conflict among MEPs, a majority within the EP has emerged to put pressure for the ECB to take a more active stance against climate change, precisely on behalf of its price stability mandate. Third, MEPs engage with the climate topic in very specific ways. There is a gender divide between the climate and the price stability topics. Women engage more actively with climate-related topics. While the Greens heavily dominate the climate topic, parties from the Right dominate the topic of Price stability. Finally, MEPs adopt a more united strategy and a particularly low confrontational tone in their climate-related interventions.

- Abstract
This paper argues for an interdisciplinary approach to the medical discourse of obesity and at-tempts to build bridges between the disciplines of medicine and linguistics. The article aims to highlight the anthropological significance of medical discourse by investigating expressions of suffering. The paper analyzes patients’ speech and how they describe obesity and its complications. It is suggested that the use of figurative language (by means of metaphor and metonymy) in order to describe this disease is shaped by environmental and physical factors.

Several spectroscopic techniques have been applied in a concerted way to investigate the local structure and the function of the chromium sites in a series of Cr[CH(SiMe3)2]3/SiO2 catalysts for ethene polymerization that differ in chromium loading and to correlate them with the microstructure of the produced polyethylene (PE). According to previous studies, the density of the produced PE is proportional to the Cr loading: the higher the Cr loading, the lower the PE density, because of an increase in the content of short-chain branching. Here, the nature of the branches and their enchainment in the polymer have been further investigated to determine the different properties of the produced polymers, and the differences detected have been traced back by spectroscopic analysis to the presence of two different types of Cr sites working in tandem: monografted SiO Cr[CH(SiMe3)2]2 species that are responsible for ethene oligomerization, and bis-grafted ( SiO )2CrCH(SiMe3)2 species that account for ethene homo- and co-polymerization. The relative abundance of the two species depends on the chromium loading. Moreover, we have also found that carbon monoxide selectively poisons the sites responsible for ethene oligomerization, indicating a possible strategy for the fine regulation of the properties of the produced PE.

Students with ADHD can benefit from at-home learning in terms of managing their symptoms, however lockdown restrictions due to the pandemic are having negative impacts on the student population. This study was designed to ascertain how students with ADHD have been impacted by at-home learning under lockdown restrictions. An interpretative phenomenological analysis was conducted using semi-structured interviews from students, parents and teaching staff. These interviews were used to identify three main themes (anxiety caused by at-home learning, change in social interaction and academic impact of at-home learning) that best identified the participants experiences. The results suggested that whilst supportive home environments helped students with ADHD to better manage their symptoms, social anxiety was a significant problem and not all schools allowed students with ADHD to take full advantage of at-home learning for their students with ADHD., Secondary School age children who experienced at-home learning during the lockdown of the Covid pandemic in 2020/2021.

This diploma thesis focuses on the appropriate and effective use of film and serial adaptations of topics falling into the period of communist totalitarianism in Czechoslovakia (that is between 1948 and 1989, with emphasis on the period 1948-1969). The thesis is divided into four chapters, whereas the main part, which is didactic, is described in the third and fourth chapter. The first chapter describes the basic historical context of the communist government in Czechoslovakia between 1948 and 1989. It also shows and explains the origin of the idea of communism, the further development of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia during the First Republic, and the postwar Third Republic. This chapter was put together using found edited sources and secondary literature. The second chapter deals with individual film and serial processing of topics related to the period. It presents specific films and series which were produced in the most recent years (or the post-revolutionary period), but also materials produced during the totalitarianism before 1989. In this chapter some works are discussed in greater detail, others are presented as selected alternative options for interaction for educational purposes. The third chapter summarizes the didactic and historical potential of the discussed topic, it also...

Thesis covers the problem of finding non-colliding paths in automated warehouses for a group of agents - so called Multi-agent pickup and delivery (MAPD) problem. Agents in the warehouses are constantly engaged with new tasks which require picking up the object on certain coordinates and transporting it to another place in the warehouse. The- sis describes a hierarchical algorithm for MAPD problems that plans paths in two levels - global and local. The algorithm works with a warehouse environment manually divided into sectors. Planning on the global level consists of assigning tasks to free agents and selecting a sequence of sectors to go through. The task is always assigned to the closest free agent. On the local level, the actual path through the sector is planned using modi- fied Multi-agent path finding (MAPF) algorithms. The proposed algorithm was tested in a simulated environment. We showed that the hierarchical algorithm with Conflict-based search (CBS) on the local level has a smaller runtime and finds a solution with a lower makespan than the algorithm using reduction to SAT. Further, we showed that the hierar- chical approach for MAPD significantly lowers the runtime of the algorithm, meanwhile, the outputted solutions are not much worse than for non-hierarchical approaches. 1

The thesis focuses on the knowledge, opinions and teaching strategies of Czech higher elementary school teachers in relation to learners who have special educational needs (SEN); more specifically to students with ADHD and specific learning difficulties (SpLD). The data were drawn from interviews with two less experienced and two experienced teachers, and an anonymous online survey. The interviews were coded, emergent themes for each teacher were identified and broad thematic categories were developed; the categories were then further refined. Next, the themes for the two pairs of teachers - experienced and less experienced - were compared and contrasted in order to find shared patterns. Lastly, the four teachers were analysed jointly to find out whether the themes for the younger and the more experienced teachers differed. As for the survey, the data were analysed using qualitative, as well as quantitative methods. The qualitative methods included coding of the responses to the open- ended questions. The quantitative analysis was performed using several statistical tests. The findings show that most teachers seem to possess at least some degree of knowledge about the problems SEN students experience, and the strategies they can use to facilitate the learning process for them. Especially teachers...

Cyclic adenosine diphosphate ribose (cADPR) is a second messenger involved in the Ca2+ homeostasis. Its chemical instability prompted researchers to tune point by point its structure, obtaining stable analogues featuring interesting biological properties. One of the most challenging derivatives is the cyclic inosine diphosphate ribose (cIDPR), in which the hypoxanthine isosterically replaces the adenine. As our research focuses on the synthesis of N1 substituted inosines, in the last few years we have produced new flexible cIDPR analogues, where the northern ribose has been replaced by alkyl chains. Interestingly, some of them mobilized Ca2+ ions in PC12 cells. To extend our SAR studies, herein we report on the synthesis of a new stable cIDPR derivative which contains the 2″S,3″R dihydroxypentyl chain instead of the northern ribose. Interestingly, the new cyclic derivative and its open precursor induced an increase in intracellular calcium concentration ([Ca2+]i) with the same efficacy of the endogenous cADPR in rat primary cortical neurons.

- Abstract
The purpose of the study was to assess pastoralist students’ intentions to attend university in the Borana zone of Ethiopia. A descriptive survey research design was employed where quantitative and qualitative approaches were used to collect and analyze data. Data were collected from 512 grade 12 students, seven principals and seven districts (Woredas) educational heads. The study used both descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation and logistic regression). The study revealed that few female students enroll in high schools which in-turn affects the number that enroll in university education as compared to male students. Students lack access to adequate toilets and water while libraries lack books and reference materials. Besides, in most of the school laboratories we not equipped or they had been converted in dormitories. The study also found that sex, life skills gap, and occupation of household head predict decision to attend the university while the drop-out is high for those who join. In conclusion, there is need to encourage female education in pastoralist areas. The government and non-profit organizations working with pastoral communities should provide training on life skills that ensure smooth transition to university or college life.

The impact of wood combustion on ambient aerosols was investigated in Augsburg, Germany during a winter measurement campaign of a six-week period. Special attention was paid to the high time resolution observations of wood combustion with different mass spectrometric methods. Here we present and compare the results from an Aerodyne aerosol mass spectrometer (AMS) and gas chromatographic – mass spectrometric (GC-MS) analysed PM1 filters on an hourly basis. This includes source apportionment of the AMS derived organic matter (OM) using positive matrix factorisation (PMF) and analysis of levoglucosan as wood combustion marker, respectively. During the measurement period nitrate and OM mass are the main contributors to the defined submicron particle mass of AMS and Aethalometer with 28% and 35%, respectively. Wood combustion organic aerosol (WCOA) contributes to OM with 23% on average and 27% in the evening and night time. Conclusively, wood combustion has a strong influence on the organic matter and overall aerosol composition. Levoglucosan accounts for 14% of WCOA mass with a higher percentage in comparison to other studies. The ratio between the mass of levoglucosan and organic carbon amounts to 0.06. This study is unique in that it provides a one-hour time resolution comparison between the wood combustion results of the AMS and the GC-MS analysed filter method at a PM1 particle size range. The comparison of the concentration variation with time of the PMF WCOA factor, levoglucosan estimated by the AMS data and the levoglucosan measured by GC-MS is highly correlated (R2 = 0.84), and a detailed discussion on the contributors to the wood combustion marker ion at mass-to-charge ratio 60 is given. At the end, both estimations, the WCOA factor and the levoglucosan concentration estimated by AMS data, allow to observe the variation with time of wood combustion emissions (gradient correlation with GC-MS levoglucosan of R2 = 0.84). In the case of WCOA, it provides the estimated magnitude of wood combustion emission. Quantitative estimation of the levoglucosan concentration from the AMS data is problematic due to its overestimation in comparison to the levoglucosan measured by the GC-MS.

This study is based on evaluation of the partly official labour force datas concerning five border cities and the interviews conducted in these provinces. Here our purpose is to draw attention to the impact of the Syrian civil war on the labour market in Turkey and to make an assessment on the possible outcomes of this impact. As we know, according a circular issued by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, the Syrian citizens who get the permit of residence can work, without restrictive evaluation, during their residence period. Especially as the rates of unemployment in South-East Anatolia Region are already higher than the rates of other regions, the joining of the Syrian immigrants to the labour market of this region would make more fragile the current situation. This will increase also the probability of getting the ground conducive for conflict between immigrants and local job seekers in the provinces of region. Especially in the informal economy the negative development of the existing wages and working conditions can be expected. This paper is considered to be a quest text of preparing the ground for regulation of labour market conditions over the current situation.

The biodegradation of lignocellulosic materials has been the object of many studies being applied in technological processes. The technology to convert lignocellulosic biomass into fermentable sugars presents great sustainable potential for the production of second generation ethanol. Obtaining ethanol from biomass involves two steps, first consisting of the hydrolysis of polysaccharides, generating mono and disaccharides, and later involves the fermentation of monkeys and disaccharides in ethanol. Cellulose hydrolysis generates glucose and cellobiose (a glucose dimer). On the other hand, the hydrolysis of lignins and hemicellulose generates sugars and by-products (mainly HMF, furfural and acetic acid), which often inhibit microbial fermentation. This work aimed to optimize the enzymatic hydrolysis of the potato branch to obtain second generation ethanol. For the development of the experiment, a rotational central composite planning was performed, varying temperature (30 ° C, 40 ° C and 50 ° C), time (24, 48 and 72 hours) and enzymatic loading (30, 120 and 210FPU). Response variables were the concentrations of monomers (glucose, xylose and arabinose) and inhibitors (acetic acid, hydroxymethylfurfural and furfural) in the hydrolyzate. The optimal operating conditions for the experiment were defined as temperature of 30 ° C, process time of 72 hours, enzymatic loading of 30FPU, under these conditions we would have 11.97 g / L glucose, 2.29 g / L xylose. The effects of the factors caused low concentrations of furfural and HMF inhibitors without affecting the yield of the process.

I am dealing with issues of life crisis and Christian perspective of the world in my Bachelor's thesis. In the first chapter I describe the concept of life crisis, its process, dealing with crisis and professional assistance for people in crisis. In the second chapter I look into essential elements of the Christian faith. I describe Christianity, the essence of the Christian faith, Scripture, Jesus' life and teachings, Christian holidays and sacraments and three divine virtues here. The third chapter is related to life crisis in lives of religious people. I describe here crisis from the Christian point of view. There is also Jesus' crucifixion, the death of his disciples and Christian perspective of pain, suffering and death, in the last chapter. Other topics I am dealing with in my thesis are prayer, spiritual guidance and spiritual care for the sick.

This work defends the relevance of introducing activities about practice and development of public speaking at schools and colleges. For that, eight myths from Ovid’s Metamorphosis were selected, considering how short and easily memorizable they are. These myths may be used to practice oral expression (entonation, diction), gesticulation and corporal posture of students through their own storytelling, employing oratory techniques. // In this paper shows a numerical model of a pusher type reheating furnace created in commercial fluid dynamics software, considering the heating of the billets at non steady state. In addition, a methodology was used to achieve the sliding of the billets inside the furnace. To simulate the process combustion it was used the transport species model called Eddy- Dissipation, and for the fluid dynamics of gas it was used k ≠ ‘ realizable model, also the heat transfer by conduction, convection, and radiation were simulated. To simulate the radiation heat transfer from the gases to the billet, the P-1 model was used. Plant measurements in different areas of the furnace allowed a good validation of the numerical model, and also a model for the oxidation process was used. It was characterized the thermal history in unsteady state of a square billet 16 mm and 12.7 mm in length, during their displacement inside the heating furnace 14.7 x 17.5 m industrial size, these temperature measurements allowed to characterize losses rusting material at each time and position within the heating furnace.
