Aiming at the problem of porosity in laser brazing of galvanized sheet, three-spot laser brazing technology was used to solve the problem of pores caused by evaporation of zinc vapor. The surface morphology and mechanical properties of galvanized sheet laser brazed joints with or without three spots were studied. The results showed that when the three-spot laser brazing technology was applied, the zinc coating on the surface of galvanized steel was removed by coating removal laser in advance, zinc vapor escaped completely, and there were no visible pores on the surface of the weld. For the tensile strength and microhardness of brazed joints, when the laser power was 2500-3200 W, the welding speed was 40-50 mm/s, the wire feeding speed was 3.0-3.5 m/min, and the beam-spot size was 4.2-5.5 mm; the tensile strength of the brazed joint reached more than 80% of the base metal. The tensile strength of the brazed joint was sensitive to welding speed. The microhardness of fusion zone was higher than base metal, and the microhardness reached 120 HV. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
