The Haifa International Children's Theatre Festival is an annual family theatre festival held in Haifa. This qualitative reception study focuses on young audiences and the adults accompanying them. Considering the festival as a comprehensive theatrical event, this study explores how it is perceived by Israeli children and parents. Drawing on the interviews, our analysis explores the reception process, involving a sequence of actions undertaken by parents and children that result in a distinctive family experience. These actions include: choosing plays to attend; mediating theatrical knowledge; participating in performances; celebrating the festival as a theatrical event, and reviewing performances they attended. This article examines the Committee on International Non-Theatrical Events (CINE) and its role in promoting American nontheatrical films during the Cold War. CINE was established in 1957 to curate and submit American films to international festivals, aiming to present a positive image of the United States. The article discusses the geopolitical origins of film festivals and their use in cultural diplomacy. It also explores the clash between American and Soviet nontheatrical cinema and the significance of film festivals in generating cultural capital for nontheatrical filmmakers. The official history states that the library in Lazarevac was founded in 1949. Until today, the library "Dimitrije Tucovic" has grown into a modern library that is recognized by its community and beyond its borders. Through its growth over time, the library went through different stages. It switched between the mobile library, the development of units and the expansion of the network of branches. Since 2011, the library has been placed in a specially adapted building in the city centre. Today, it has four active branches with a fund of over 150 000 books and a large budget for acquiring books and different program activities. The event "Children's Humour Festival" has been held by the library for 35 years. In the last decade of its work, the library "Dimitrije Tucovic" is turning more and more to the needs of the community, launching numerous new services, networking and financing more projects. Design and management of events and festivals will create a new wave in the future of tourism education while they lead tourism transformation and innovation. Children's festivals and events are tributes to the sound of children's voices and can be a solution for attracting tourists to a destination, creating joy and happiness in these destinations. The aim of this study is to design an event calendar as an educational tool for kids in the city of Isfahan, Iran. A qualitative method (thematic analysis using MAXQDA) was applied in this research. Analysis of the data indicated 31 subthemes. Further analysis identified that historical-cultural events, environmental and agricultural events, children and health, literary festivals for children, art, sports and entertainment were determined as the main themes which are appropriate for designing the kids' calendar in Isfahan. In the current context, cultural education plays an essential role in the integral development of children, especially in rural communities where access to cultural resources may be limited. This article examines the "Roots and Wings" program, an innovative project designed to enrich the cultural education of rural children through direct and experiential activities. Through storytelling and folklore workshops, cultural preservation projects, local art and history sessions, children's festivals and partnerships with schools, the program aims to strengthen children's ties with the cultural heritage of their community. The study uses mixed methods, including participatory observations and questionnaires, to assess the impact of the program on children's knowledge, appreciation and application of cultural values in everyday life. Preliminary results suggest a significant improvement in understanding and appreciation of local culture, as well as an increase in confidence in one's own creative and social skills. The article argues that such programs can serve as valuable models for integrating culture into the educational curriculum, having the potential to transform children's perspective on cultural heritage and positively influence their behavior. Carnival, the origins of which are preChristian, is one of the most widespread festivals among the different cultures of the world, but its celebration has suffered prohibitions so that its characterization requires relying on generational testimonies. Our objective is to establish a qualitative methodology to reconstruct the celebration of the carnival festival in different territories and apply it to the case of the carnival of the Aragonese region “Cinco Villas”, which is composed of 31 villages. The research methodology consists of: contextualization of the territory, fieldwork for the collection of oral testimonies through life histories, focused interviews and discussion groups, and then cabinet and interpretation work. The results prove that the traditional carnival of “Cinco Villas” contains fertility and fecundity rites in the form of jokes and games with allusions to crops, land and herds. Although currently reduced to a children’s festival, the festival sleeps waiting for the political or economic elites to schedule its recovery for the social cohesion of the region. Children's Day, celebrated as one of the most important national holidays in our country and in the KKTC, was given as a gift to the children of our country and the world, who are the elders of tomorrow, in memory of the opening of the National Congress. This holiday was celebrated with the "National Day", which started to be celebrated with the opening of the Congress on April 23, 1920, where the will of the people was manifested, and the "National Domination Day", which started to be celebrated with the abolition of the sultanate on November 1, 1922, and the Himaye-i Etfal Society since 1927. Today, it was formed by the official unification of the holidays that he proposed to be celebrated as "Children's Day" in 1935. The National Day, National Sovereignty and Children's Day, which were unified in 1935, remained as the National Sovereignty Day in law and legislation. After UNESCO declared 1979 as the "Year of the Child" due to the solution of children's problems, the TRT institution organized the Children's Festival on this date, internationalized this holiday and announced the name of the holiday to the whole world. As a commemoration of the opening of the National Congress, this holiday was given as a gift to all children of the world. Atatürk gave big importance to these celebrations until the end of his life, took part in the ceremonies personally, and gave this national holiday to the children he loved very much. The research aimed at finding out the psycho dramatic issues and its effect on he production in theater show. The sample of the study is The hope rising by the director Sameer khawaldeh. The study dealt with issues of anxiety, fear, deprivation and isolation, in addition to other therapeutic issues in theatrical directing. The research also used descriptive analytical method for the shot scenes in the play which was presented in The eleventh festival for Jordanian Children's Theater. The outcomes of the study showed a positive influence of these issues on theatrical directing and its development as essential ones in theater show. It also showed that these issues had influential power over theatrical directing methods as an effective therapeutic style. The researcher recommended theatrical directors to follow the psychodrama issues and to employ them in their artistic and dramatic works on the local and Arabian level alltogether. The children’s festival has been studied as a performative phenomenon that actualizes the problem of presence (H. U. Humbrecht) as the highest anthropomorphic value, where imperceptible connections, different from the usual physical presence, are established between the participants. The children’s festival is analyzed in the projection of the bodily-material mode, touches, the exchange of which is already embedded in the nature of the performance, which allow the child to find himself in the mode of sensual, aesthetic experiences. The research methodology was based on post-non-classical, cultural, interdisciplinary approaches. The involvement of a cultural approach to the problem of analyzing a children’s festival as a performative phenomenon is productive in several aspects: first, the possibility of considering it in the projection of the concept of presence, where imperceptible connections are established between participants that differ from mere physical presence; secondly, the actualization of the corporeal-material perspective, the body, touches, the exchange of which is already embedded in the very nature of the performance, which allow the child to find himself in the mode of sensual, aesthetic experiences. Thirdly, the children’s festival involves consideration of performance culture, where play, celebration, and performance are closely intertwined. Accordingly, children’s performance, along with professional specialized training, does not exclude game communication, with the help of which it appears as a kind of “theatre for oneself” and contributes to the author’s creation of oneself. It was found that the children’s festival becomes an experimental platform for creative interactions between participants, live interaction with each other. The value of such interactions is that during the performance, the direct interaction of the participants of the children’s festival turns out to be much more productive than the possible meanings, meanings and presence-oriented effects. The indigenous Riddu Riđđu Festival, organized yearly in the village of Olmáivággi/ Manndalen (Sápmi/Norway), presents the cultures of Sámi people and indigenous peoples across the world. A study of the activities offered at Riddu Riđđu over an eleven-year period (2009–2019) carried out. Through fieldwork (forty-six in-depth interviews, participant observations and document analysis), I contemplated how sports, physical and outdoor activities included in the festival create indigenous people's identities and cultural understanding. Sámi sports and other indigenous sports and outdoor life are crucial parts of the festival, especially at the Children's Festival: Mánáidfestivála. The activities represent different ethnicities and seem to create sustained ties between persons, networks and organizations and to build identities and bridges between participants. Taking part in festival activities claimed to be crucial symbolic capital, or poly cultural capital, in expressing indigeneity or in the creation of 'indigenous hearts' by participants, staff and volunteers at the festival.
