The methodology of organic farming called the "Chaitanya Krishi" based on Vedic Sciences (Homa organic farming) was adapted and got further evolved at the farm situated on the bank of river Barvi at Dahagaon village, Kalyan, Thane district, Maharashtra State, India. We started organic farming since 1998 and started getting third party certification as an organic farm since 2009. In August 2014, we received a prestigious award of, "Krishibhushan Sendriya Sheti-2013" for Organic Farming from the Maharashtra State Government. Four are installed in Agnihotra Hut, other four in East, West, North, South of Agnihotra Hut on the periphery of the farm, and two in Tryambakam Hut. A field experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2012 to study the biochemical efficacy of Homa organic farming practices in okra (Abelomoschus esculentus var. Arka Anamika) and laid out in randomized block design with 18 treatments replicated thrice. The treatments consist of control treatments i.e. conventional control and homa control; homa treatments (Agnihotra and Om Tryambakam homa) and non-homa treatments; and liquid organic manures viz, Panchagavya, Jeevamruta and Gloria Biosol for soil and foliar application. Among the control treatments, organic control recorded highest growth, yield and quality parameters than other controls. Soil and foliar application of Gloria Biosol was significantly superior over all the treatments in terms of growth, yield and quality attributes and recorded 20.28% more plant height and 21.41% more yield than organic control treatments. Ascorbic acid and free total phenol content of okra fruits in homa treatments were also significantly superior over all the treatments and recorded 15.45% and 5.33% more over organic control, respectively. Thus, it may be recommended that soil and foliar application of Gloria Biosol, among all the Homa organic treatments, will give the better crop productivity and its produce quality. The human brain is the source of endless energy. But a very small fraction of mental faculty is used to fulfill man's worldly desires. The faculties which remain unutilized tend to become dormant, lying more or less in some unknown corner of the mind. If the endless energy stored in the human mind is used scientifically, man would perform miracles throughout his life. Agnihotra is one of the best ways to reinforce that energy. Agnihotra is a very simple method of performing yagnya or offering oblations to fire at the transitional moments of sunrise and sunset. Sunrise and sunset are the smallest rhythmic cycles of nature and they leave their immediate effect on living beings. Various showerings of electricity and allied energies from the space cause a very subtle effect on the Agnihotra. The effect of Agnihotra on the environment is such that the latter gets a specific direction and is so vitally energized that it causes the human mind to react with love and equanimity. This paper will focus on the practice of Agnihotra, i.e. a specific way of sacrifice at the exact time of sunrise and sunset. Earthen or copper pots of specific size and shape, cow dung cake, unbroken rice smeared with pure ghee, etc. will be used for offering.
