This briefing document was produced for the Science-Policy Discussion on ‘Forecasting fish distribution and abundance in the Atlantic Ocean: The Challenge of balancing exploitation and sustainability"organised by three Horizon 2020 projects, Blue-Action, TRIATLAS and MISSION ATLANTIC, with the support of the European Parliament Intergroup on Climate Change, Biodiversity & Sustainable Development on 3 December 2020 as an online event. A report providing an assessment of the adequacy of the cur-rent observing and information system (with results from five pilot countries) will be determined and properly documented. Key findings, experiences and recommendations will be for-mulated to evolve the Integrated Atlantic Ocean Observing System (AtlantOS).

The existence of diverse values and value systems is a reality in the international sphere today. The fundamental question facing normative theory in International Relations is how to reconcile this value pluralism with an ethical orientation. This volume incorporates a variety of contributions from well-known authors at the center of the debate.
