- Abstract
Osteoblast is the key cell of bone repair and reconstruction, and its abnormal proliferation, differentiation and mineralization are the main causes of bone metabolic diseases such as osteoporosis. The regulatory role of mitochondria in the osteogenic function of osteoblasts can not be ignored. In recent years, it has been found that the ability of mitochondria to regulate osteoblasts is closely related to mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation, mitochondrial biogenesis, mitochondrial dynamics, mitochondrial autophagy mediating the maintenance of mitochondrial quantity and function, providing energy for cells, and signal transmission. This paper reviews the research progress of the mechanism of mitochondria regulating osteoblast function in recent years. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
