The food waste water quality of sampling points of restaurant were collected within the Bilaspur city limit state Chhattisgarh India by determining some physicochemical parameter of the water samples using standard analytical techniques. The results of physicochemical parameters (pH, temperature, turbidity, conductivity, alkalinity, total dissolved solids, total suspended solids, total solids, Alkalinity and dissolved oxygen) revealed high variations in the concentrations of physicochemical parameters. Therefore, it is imperative that the water sources should be monitored regularly and be subjected to further treatments in order to reduce the concentrations of the few identified pollution indicators that may pose some dangers to the health of people living in this area. The aim of the present study is to develop a simpler direct uv- spectrophotometric method for the trace determination of lead with dithizone in the presence of inexpensive anionic micelles, such as sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS), in aqueous solutions.

Language is a medium of communication as a sociological trend that gives a significant aspect of culture and a reflection that depicts a country's customs and community. Thus, teachers should instead teach the student's language knowledge, including vocabulary and grammar, in language instruction and incorporate the cultural context to introduce communication concepts, combining with different cultural and social aspects. This paper identifies the challenges and scope of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) in EFL teaching. This model proposes the Advanced Framework for EFL Teaching (AF-EFLT), which incorporates the AAC technology to overcome the challenge of teaching a second language. Besides this, the proposed model uses advanced big data analytics tools in performance evaluation and monitoring. The assessment results in improved EFL teaching experience and Learning with the proposed framework's highest efficiency. The detailed study in teaching assistance's technological aspect further suggests the future research scope in EFL teaching.

The current study focused on the impact of climate change on tropical root and tuber crops of India over some of the major growing areas using the crop model, WOFOST. As part of this study, the impact of climate change on the yield of rice and potato is also carried out using the same crop model to understand the advantages of root and tuber crops over the yield variations of rice and potato. The LARS weather generator is used to derive future climate for 2030, 2050, and 2070 for the two representative concentration pathways (RCPs)-4.5 and 8.5. The future climate projections in the study locations indicate an increment in minimum and maximum temperatures up to a value of 3.4 and 3.8 oC respectively. The rainfall also indicates a drastic fluctuation from -721 to 448 mm in the future. The results reveal that the predicted crop yield varies from one location to another depending on the future climate. Cassava (-13 to 12%, -17 to 8%), sweet potato (-32 to 14%, -38 to 13%), greater yam (-11 to 8, -14 to 6), elephant foot yam (-10 to 6, -12 to 4), and taro (-16 to 19, -28 to 18) can be considered as future crops based on their predicted yield variations and economics compared to that of rice (-26 to 15%, -50 to 18%) and potato (-37 to 7%, -59 to 8.5%) for both the RCPs. Among other crops, sweet potato has the same crop duration as rice and potato and can be recommended to increase food access. These crops can be recommended for enhancing the availability of food based on their superiority in dry matter production.

To develop a predictive model for late stillbirth among women with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) in low- and middle-income countries. Study was part of the WHO newborn birth defect (NBBD) project and included all stillbirths occurring in the facility from November 2015 to December 2020. The age and parity matched subjects with HDP having live birth were taken as controls. All significant predictors were analyzed and a predictive model was developed. Out of 69,007 deliveries, 1691(24.5/1000) were stillborn. HDP was seen in (390/1691, 23.0%), in 265/390 (67.4%) cases it occurred at or after 28 weeks of gestation and were included as cases. Glasses of the composition Li2SO4–MgO–P2O5 mixed with varied contents (0.2–1.0 mol%) of nickel oxide were synthesized. Various spectroscopic investigations have indicated gradual growing proportions of Oh Ni2+ ions in the host glass. IR spectral results, in particular, have clearly demonstrated an increased degree of structural disorder of the glass nerwork with increased content of NiO. The intensity of third harmonic generation (THG) component of probing beam viz., Nd:YAG laser (λ = 1064 nm and power density J = 0–200 J/m2) induced due to the interaction of inherent dipoles with the incident laser beam, exhibited an increasing trend with increase of nickel oxide concentration up to 0.8 mol%. Analysis of the results of these studies indicated that Li2SO4–MgO–P2O5 glass samples doped with optimal content of NiO (~ 0.8 mol%) are more favorable for achieving intense THG beam with low phonon losses. Hence, such glasses may be considered as useful for optoelectronic devices. On the other hand, the samples doped with NiO content greater than 0.8 mol%, the Ni2+ ions seemed to prefer (revealed by optical absorption and IR spectroscopy studies) tetrahedral occupancy in the glass matrix and enhance the degree of the polymerization of the glass matrix; such increased order of polymerization of the glass matrix appears to be a hindrance for accomplishing higher intensity of THG signal due to large phonon losses. These results were found to be in concurrence with the inferences from other studies that include electrical properties, positron annihilation lifetime (PAL) spectroscopy and mechanical properties.

This work is focused on the evaluation of the free volume space and the concentration of nano-sized cavities trapped in Fe2O3 mixed lead zirconium silicate glass ceramics using positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PALS) studies with 22Na (0.1MBq) positron source. Such imperfections are anticipated to have strong bearing on physical characteristics of the glass ceramic. The glasses of a particular composition viz., 36PbO–4ZrO2–(60–x)SiO2: xFe2O3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.5 in the intervals of 0.1) were synthesized by traditional melting and quenching techniques. The lifetime of the positrons measured in these samples is found to be strongly reliant on the content of Fe2O3. The results have suggested the increased fraction of free volume imperfections (fv), and radius of the cavities (R) with increase of Fe2O3 content from 0.2 to 0.5 mol%. The spectroscopic studies of these samples indicated that iron ions predominantly existed in Fe3+ state and occupied octahedral positions with FeO6 structural units, acted as modifiers and induced several imperfections. The estimated maximal concentration of imperfections in the glass ceramic sample F5 by PALS studies is attributed to such reasons. The inferences drawn from PALS studies regarding the concentration of defects in these samples are found to be in agreement with the results of third harmonic generation (THG) studies and conductivity studies.

Cisplatin continues to be one of the frontline cytotoxic drugs. However, cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury (AKI) remains a major unmet medical need without any approved pharmacological interventions. The involvement of reactive oxygen species generation and activation of inflammatory and apoptotic pathways in the pathogenesis of cisplatin-induced AKI prompts the use of natural anti-inflammatory compounds. In this context, resolution of inflammation using natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory such as urolithin A (UA) could prove beneficial. In the end, testing such combinations in models to eliminate the possibility that UA stimulates tumor growth or compromises the potency of cisplatin could prove useful for clinical translation of adjuvant therapies.

Diabetes mellitus (DM), a multifaceted metabolic disorder if not managed properly leads to secondary complications. Diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) is one such complication caused by nerve damage that cannot be reversed but can be delayed. Recently, diabetes patients are using dietary supplements, although there remains a general skepticism about this practice. Curcumin (CUR), one such supplement can help prevent underlying low-grade inflammation in diabetes, but it is plagued by poor oral bioavailability. To better understand the role of bioavailability in clinical outcomes, we have tested double-headed nanosystems containing curcumin (nCUR) on DPN. Because CUR does not influence glucose levels, we have also tested the effects of nCUR combined with long-acting subcutaneous insulin (INS). nCUR with or without INS alleviates DPN at two times lower dose than unformulated CUR, as indicated by qualitative and quantitative analysis of the hind paw, sciatic nerve, spleen, and L4-6 spinal cord. In addition, nCUR and nCUR+INS preserve hind paw nerve axons as evident by the Bielschowsky silver stain and intraepidermal nerve fibers (IENF) density measured by immunofluorescence. The mechanistic studies further corroborated the results, where nCUR or nCUR+INS showed a significant decrease in TUNEL positive cells, mRNA expression of NLRP3, IL-1β, and macrophage infiltration while preserving nestin and NF200 expression in the sciatic nerve. Together, the data confirms that CUR bioavailability is proportional to clinical outcomes and INS alone may not be one of the solutions for DM. This study highlights the potential of nCUR with or without INS in alleviating DPN and warrants further investigation.

The National Educational Policy 2020 is crucial in completely revamping the previous, antiquated educational system. NEP 2020 is built on the ideas of quality, independence, responsibility, equity, and economy, and a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach. This will result in fresh changes to the job and educational landscape throughout the nation. Well, if it isn't done properly, no policy will benefit from it. Anyhow, it seems that this plan is a well-considered and sincere effort to change the Indian educational system. The newly unveiled National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which places a strong emphasis on the overall development of students who will eventually join the workforce, offers some encouragement for progress in this regard. While the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has made considerable reforms to schools and higher education, it has also given life skills and career training a significant amount of weight. Numerous studies suggest that the vocational development programme in India has not been properly received.
