A wide range of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods for the monitoring the health of concrete structure has been studied for several years. The recent rapid evolution of wireless sensor network (WSN) technologies has resulted in the development of sensing elements that can be embedded in concrete, to monitor the health of infrastructure, collect and report valuable related data. The monitoring system can potentially decrease the high installation time and reduce maintenance cost associated with wired monitoring systems. The monitoring sensors need to operate for a long period of time, but sensors batteries have a finite life span. Hence, novel wireless powering methods must be devised. The optimization of wireless power transfer via Strongly Coupled Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) to sensors embedded in concrete is studied here. First, we analytically derive the optimal geometric parameters for transmission of power in the air. This specifically leads to the identification of the local and global optimization parameters and conditions, it was validated through electromagnetic simulations. Second, the optimum conditions were employed in the model for propagation of energy through plain and reinforced concrete at different humidity conditions, and frequencies with extended Debye's model. This analysis leads to the conclusion that SCMR can be used to efficiently power sensors in plain and reinforced concrete at different humidity levels and depth, also validated through electromagnetic simulations. The optimization of wireless power transmission via SMCR to Wearable and Implantable Medical Device (WIMD) are also explored. The optimum conditions from the analytics were used in the model for propagation of energy through different human tissues. This analysis shows that SCMR can be used to efficiently transfer power to sensors in human tissue without overheating through electromagnetic simulations, as excessive power might result in overheating of the tissue. V teoretické části jsou v jednotlivých kapitolách shrnuty: princip laseru, rozdělení laserů, technologie lasero-vého svařování plastů, popis laserové svářečky, přehled použitých materiálů, metodika plánování, ověřování a vyhodnocování. The individual chapters in the theoretical part focus on following topics: principle of laser, laser classification, technology of the laser beam welding of plastics, description of a laser welding machine, list of used materials, methods of planning, verification and evaluation. In the practical part the welding parameters of both materials are being optimized, all thoroughly in accordance with the Design of Experiment methods. In general, inverse acoustics problems are ill-posed. Without proper regularization action taken noisy measurements result in an increasingly disturbed solution of the inverse acoustics wave equation as the distance from the measurement plane to the desired source grows. Two distinctive steps take place in the regularization process for planar near-field acoustical holography (PNAH): first, a low-pass filter function is defined and secondly a stopping rule is applied to determine the parameter settings of the filter. In acoustical imaging practice, it turns out to be very hard to determine the right filter for a certain case, ideally by means of an automatic search for the (near-) optimal parameters. This paper presents the practical application of a novel automated method that combines fitted filters for a broad number of possible experimental sources combined with highly efficient stopping rules by taking advantage of k-space. Also, a number of well-known and newly developed filter functions and stopping rules are discussed and compared with one another. Results based on actual measurements demonstrate the effectiveness, applicability, and precision of the fully implemented and automated regularization process for PNAH. Practical results even show acoustic source visualization below one millimeter primarily by successful application of k-space regularization. Implementations include modifications of Tikhonov, exponential and truncation low-pass filters, L-curve Generalised Cross-Validation (GCV) and the novel Cut-Off and Slope (COS) parameter selection methods for PNAH COS iteration in combination with either a modified exponential or Tikhonov low-pass filter results in an automated selection of the regularization parameters and eventually a fully automated PNAH system., QC 20120215

Optimal parameters of bird’s foot trefoil harvesting, as for most of grasses require specific harvester technical and technological regulations and adjustments, adequate parameters for specific crop and working conditions. This paper presents a range of necessary and investigated adjustments on the harvester, depending on harvesting phase, in purpose of tolerable losses achievement. Achieved optimal parameters in bird’s foot trefoil harvesting harvesting losses were decreased on 4 to 5 %, with the fallowing harvesters efficiencies: Zmaj 132, 133 - 3.5 ha/day, Zmaj 141, 142, 143 - 5 ha/day Zmaj 190, 191, 192 - 6.5 ha/day. Considering average threshing effect of 95% of natural seeds with 5% of ingredients, it can be concluded that initially satisfactory harvester working quality was achieved during this investigation. It is necessary these kind of investigations to be continued, in purpose of achieving further better working results in bird’s foot trefoil harvesting., Optimalni parametri za kombajniranje žutog zvezdana, kao i kod većine trava zahtevaju specifičnosti u tehničko-tehnološkom smislu prilagođavanja i regulacije kombajna, potrebnih parametara za dati usev i uslove rada. Radom se prikazuje niz neophodnih istraženih regulacija na samom kombajnu, u zavisnosti od faznog ubiranja, a sve u cilju tolerantnih gubitaka. Ostvarenim optimalnim parametrima za kombajniranje žutog zvezdana, gubici pri žetvi kombajna, svedeni su od 4% do 5% uz učinak kombajna Zmaj-132,3, od 3,5 ha/dan, kombajna Z-141,2,3, od 5 ha/dan, kao i kombajna Z-190,1,2, od 6,5 ha/dan. Postignuti izvršaj kombajniranja žutog zvezdana u proseku od 95% naturalnog semena uz 5% primesa, može se smatrati da je ovim istraživanjem postignut inicijano zadovoljavajući kvalitet rada kombajna. Neophodno je nastaviti istraživanja u ovom pravcu, kako bi se postigli još bolji rezultati rada na kombajniranju žutog zvezdana.

Ďalším predmetom práce je otázka voľby mierky týchto funkcií s cieľom minimalizovať kvadratickú chybu aproximácie signálov. Porovnáva niekoľko metód od rôznych autorov. Finally these algorithms are tested by approximating simple signals so that their results can be compared.
