Inconel 718 (IN718) superalloy is extensively used in various applications owing to its excellent comprehensive property. Fabricating Inconel 718 (IN718) superalloy by selective laser melting holds great promise for producing complex aerostructure components. In this work, the influence of scanning strategies, laser power, scanning speed and hatch distance were revealed and compared. Further, different solution treatments at various temperatures for 1 h followed by a two-step aging at 720/620 °C were employed to improve the mechanical properties of as-built IN718 alloy. The microstructure, hardness and tensile behavior of the as-built and heat-treated samples were investigated, respectively. Results showed that designing scanning strategies by changing rotation angle between scanning tracks had a limited impact on the relative density of samples while influencing the hardness of the samples. The microstructure of the as-built IN718 was a mixture of columnar and equiaxial grains with γ matrix and Laves phase precipitates in the grain boundaries. After heat treatment, the columnar structure was converted into equiaxial grains, weakening the anisotropy in samples. Meanwhile, the dissolution of Laves phase and formation of fine γ′ and γ″ precipitates dispersively distributed in the matrix became more remarkable with increasing solution temperature. As a result, when solution-treated at 1000 °C, the hardness and tensile strength reached 450.52 HV and 1396.22 MPa, respectively, and such values were increased by 28.7 and 26.9% in comparison with the AMS 5662. The observation of second-order nonlinear Hall effect generally requires broken inversion symmetry and other spatial symmetries (such as out-of-plane C2 symmetry) rather than time-reversal symmetry for the conventional Hall effect, which brings fascinating opportunities for the fundamental investigation and innovative concepts for device applications. However, the imposed symmetry constraints severely limit the accessibility of the second-order nonlinear Hall effect in many materials. Here, we report the observation of the second-order nonlinear Hall effect in bulk Td-WTe2 with symmetry constraints under the application of direct current (DC). The observed second-order nonlinear Hall effect is strongly dependent on the external DC with its magnitude being vanished at zero driving DC and linearly increased with increasing driving DC. Furthermore, the driving DC induced second-order nonlinear Hall effect in bulk Td-WTe2 exhibits the same twofold rotational symmetry as that of the intrinsic third-order nonlinear Hall effect, which is distinct from the second-order nonlinear Hall effect in few-layer Td-WTe2. In addition, similar driving DC induced second-order nonlinear features are also observed in the longitudinal direction. These imply that the driving DC induced second-order nonlinear transport properties may share the same physical origins as that of the intrinsic third-order nonlinear transport. Scaling relationship analyses further demonstrate that extrinsic scattering-related mechanism plays a dominant role in the observed high-order nonlinear transport properties. Our work outlines a potential roadmap to control the second-order nonlinear Hall effect in materials where crystal symmetry forbids this effect with both fundamental research interest and technological device applications. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) have established themselves as pivotal allies in the realm of plant physiology, renowned for their remarkable contributions to augmenting both growth and resilience against environmental stresses. In this study, we embarked on a comprehensive investigation into the discernible impact of two distinct AMF species on a widely planted oat cultivar, 'Qingyan No. 1', when subjected to the austere conditions of a drought. The experimental design included three distinct AMF treatments (inoculation with Rhiaophagus intraradices, Funneliformis mosseae, or not), and the three water treatments were 75% of field capacity (well watered), 50% of field capacity (moderate drought), and 30% of field capacity (severe drought). The obtained results showed that the rate of inoculation under 75% FC for both AMF species was over 74%. Drought stress limited the growth and osmotic regulation of the oat plants. However, AMF inoculation observably increased the above-ground biomass under 75% FC and increased the root biomass under 30% FC. AMF inoculation also increased the root traits under 75% FC and 50% FC. R. intraradices inoculation increased the above-ground soluble sugar and soluble protein concentrations, and both AMF species showed decreased malondialdehyde (MDA) concentrations in the roots. Furthermore, the pervasive influence of drought stress exerted a discernible stranglehold on nutrient uptake in the oat plants, profoundly impacting the distribution of nutrients within the shoots and roots. Regardless of the drought stress treatment, the inoculation with both AMF species increased the P concentrations in the roots and the K and Mg concentrations in the roots, and the inoculation with R. intraradices increased the Ca concentration in the whole oat plant. Under 75% FC, the N concentration of the whole oat plant was significantly reduced by both AMF species. However, under 50% FC and 30% FC, the N concentrations in the shoots inoculated with both AMF species were close to that of the non-inoculated shoots. In summary, AMF improved the osmotic regulation and nutrient absorption and distribution of oat plants under drought stress and thus promoted the growth and biomass accumulation of oat plants. In order to solve the problem of uniform and precise fertilizer discharge, based on experimental analysis of the uneven nature of single-screw fertilizer discharge, a double arc groove screw fertilizer discharger was designed based on the principle of the half-cycle superposition of the fertilizer discharge curve. The fertilizer discharge amount and the instantaneous fertilizer discharge characteristics of the double arc groove screw fertilizer discharger were theoretically analyzed, and the factors affecting the fertilizer discharge uniformity of the double arc groove screw fertilizer discharger were obtained, taking the pitch S, arc groove radius Rp and center distance as the test factors. Using the uniformity variation coefficient and fertilization accuracy as test indexes, the experimental indicators were evaluated through a quadratic universal rotation combination design experiment with three factors and five levels. The optimal parameters were pitch S = 35 mm, arc groove radius Rp = 17 mm and center distance a = 40 mm. The fertilizer discharger was produced based on the optimal parameter combination, and a bench verification test and a comparative test were carried out. The test results show that the uniformity variation coefficient of the bench test and the relative error between the fertilization accuracy and the simulation test are 5.60% and 5.52%, respectively, and there is little difference between them, which verifies the correctness of the simulation. The comparative test results show that the uniformity variation coefficient of the optimized double arc groove screw fertilizer discharger is 7.16%, the fertilization accuracy is 3.44% and the fitting curve equation R2 of fertilizer discharge flow is 0.998, all of which are significantly better than in the single-screw fertilizer discharger. We developed an electronic fertilizer discharge controller and conducted bench verification tests on it. The test results show that the average deviation between the measured fertilizer discharge capacity and the preset value of the double arc groove screw fertilizer discharger based on our self-developed controller is 2.78%. This fertilizer discharge device can precisely control fertilizer discharge, effectively solving the problem of uneven fertilizer discharge in single-screw fertilizer dischargers.
