In this paper, to develop green chemistry, a catalyst based on layered double hydroxides (LDHs) attached by hexamethylene-1,6-diisocyanate (HMDI) and citric acid (LDH-g-HMDI-citric acid) were prepared and characterized by FT-IR, XRD, EDX, SEM, TGA, and DTG analytical methods. The catalytic activity of this recyclable heterogeneous catalyst was evaluated for the synthesis of new imidodicarbonate diamide derivatives (biuret) under microwave conditions. The use of the microwave method led to the use of organic solvents in small amounts, reduced reaction times, and increased yields of products, which was achieved for the development of green chemistry and environmental protection. These biurets were evaluated for inhibitory activity on human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) by HIV-1 p24 antigen ELISA kit and three of them (5b, 5c, and 5f) had moderate activity on HIV -1 virus with IC50 values in the range of 55.1 to 100 μM compared to azidothymidine as the reference drug (IC50 = 0.11 μM). Finally, to investigate the mechanism of the effect of biuret compounds on the virus protease enzyme, docking analysis studies were performed and the results of in vitro test and docking study were in good correlation.

Three types of mass transit services have been developed in Jakarta metropolitan area; however, it was found that the majority 80% of commuters are still using private vehicles. This paper aims to explore the reasons why most commuters are still preferring to opt using private vehicles. A total of 23 attributes concerning the quality of public transport services have been investigated by conducting surveys and collecting data. As result, even majority of users mentioned that they are satisfied with the overall quality of the mass of transit, they are still hoping for improvement in some services attributes. Also, female passengers and teenagers consider security officer presence as one of the attributes needed to be improved. To enhance social inclusion and promote gender equality, practical strategies are recommended such as discounts and improvement of feeder service, special wagon for female and youth passengers, and adjusted schedules to conform with school time.

Background and aims: Childbearing is known to be the most critical change factor in population construction. So, the present study was conducted to investigate the impact of childbearing education based on the theory of planned behavior (TPB) on the behavioral intention of childless couples. Methods: The present field trial was conducted on 70 childless referred to holistic health centers in Shahrekord in 2022. The study setting was selected by cluster sampling, and the participants were selected by convenience sampling. The instruments used were a checklist of demographic characteristics/childbearing and a questionnaire of childbearing intention. Abstract Due to the importance of energy storage systems based on supercapacitors, various studies have been conducted. In this research CuO, NCNO and the flower like CuO/NCNO have been studied as a novel materials in this field. The resulte showed that the synthesized CuO nanostructutes have flower like morphology which studied by FE-SEM analisis. Further, the XRD pattern confirmed the crystalline properties of the CuO/NCNO nanocomposite, and the Raman verified the functional groups and vibrations of the components of CuO/NCNO nanocomposite. In a two-electrode system at a current density of 4 A/g, the capacitance, power density, and energy density were 450 F/g, 3200 W/kg, and 98 Wh/kg, respectively. The charge transfer resistances of CuO and NCNO/CuO electrodes obtained 8 and 2 Ω respectively, which show that the conductivity and supercapacitive properties of nanocomposite are better than pure components. Also, the stability and low charge transfer resistance are other advantages obtained in a two-symmetrical electrode investigation. The stability investigation showed that after 3000 consecutive cycles, only 4% of the initial capacitance of the CuO/NCNO electrode decreased.

Background: Several studies in Iran have examined nurses’ caring behaviors (CB) or emotional intelligence (EI). However, no study in Iran investigated the relationship between EI and CB among Iranian nurses.Objectives: This study examined the correlation between EI and CB among nurses.Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in 2020 on a sample of 223 nurses working in Shahid-Beheshti Hospital in Kashan, Iran. A demographic questionnaire, the Caring Dimension Inventory-25, and the Siberia Schering's EI questionnaire were used to collect data. Descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data.Results: Totally, 202 nurses completed and returned the study questionnaires. Most of the nurses were female (66.8%), married (77.2%), and had a bachelor's degree in nursing (84.7%). The mean age and work experience of the participants were 31.17±6.59 and 2.11±2.06 years, respectively. The mean EI and CB scores of the nurses were 100±17.99 and 43.87±10.14, respectively. Although no significant correlation was found between the nurses' overall CB and EI scores (r=0.065, p=0.358), a significant correlation was found between the scores of "psychosocial care" subscale and all components of EI.Conclusion: Nurses demonstrated moderate EI and low CB. A significant relationship was observed between the scores of psychosocial caring behaviors with the total score of EI and its dimensions. It is suggested to design and implement programs to promote nurses' EI. Hope that these programs will improve CB in nurses.

Introduction:Since 20% of the patients with sensorineural hearing loss have confirmed radiographically inner ear malformation, this study aimed to compare the incidence rate of intra and postoperative complications of cochlear implantation amongst the patients with or without inner ear malformations. Materials and Methods:In this retrospective study, we evaluated the medical record of 954 patients who had undergone cochlear implantation. Seventeen patients had inner ear malformations and were selected as the case group, and 25 patients with normal inner ear were selected as the control group. Patient’s information; including intraoperative complications, post-operative complications and neural response telemetry (NRT) immediately after the surgery were recorded. Finally, the collected data were analyzed, using the SPSS software, version 21.Results:According to the CT-scan findings, the most observed internal ear abnormality was the temporal bone Mondini in 8 patients (47%), and the next inline was the common cavity at a frequency of (23.52%). Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) gusher was detected in 11 patients (64.7%) of the case group, which was significantly higher than the other group. This includes mild CSF gusher in 7 cases (41.17%) and severe CSF gusher in 5 cases (29.41%). Interestingly, no significant post-operative complications were observed in either group, minor side effects were limited and not significantly different.Conclusion:In conclusion, despite the limitations of cochlear implantation surgery amongst patients with inner ear malformation with potential risk of early or late complications, it can still be recommended as an appropriate procedure to acquire hearing as well as auditory and speech perception.

Abstract The online and in-store shopping landscape underwent transformative shifts due to the Covid-19 pandemic, potentially leading to novel hybrid shopping behaviors following the availability of Covid-19 vaccines. However, these new dynamics, especially for non-essential experience goods which were heavily impacted by lockdowns, remain relatively unexplored. Moreover, variations in such dynamics within the same product class are not well understood. This study investigates the interactions between online and in-store shopping behaviors across four categories of non-essential experience goods: clothing, shoes, watches, and jewelry (CSWJ); beauty and health products (BH); toys, kids, and baby supplies (TKB); and home, garden, and tools (HGT). Data from over 2,000 Florida residents collected in early 2021, encompassing purchase frequencies, attitudes, and socio-demographic attributes, were analyzed using separate bidirectional structural equation models. Findings indicate that the relationship between online and in-store shopping for CSWJ and TKB exhibited reciprocal complementarity effects. In contrast, BH and HGT displayed an asymmetric reciprocal relationship, with in-store shopping showing no significant influence on online shopping. Results on the mediating influence of attitudes on shopping behaviors showed that a pro-online shopping attitude and preference for alternative travel modes positively influenced online shopping frequency, while the joy of shopping and data privacy/security concerns emerged as drivers of in-store shopping across all product categories. In sum, this study underscores the presence of product-specific heterogeneity even within the experience goods class, contributing to the complex interactions between online and in-store shopping behaviors.

We engaged in a participatory modeling approach with health sector stakeholders in Jordan to support government decision-making regarding implementing public health measures to mitigate COVID-19 disease burden. We considered the effect of 4 physical distancing strategies on reducing COVID-19 transmission and mortality in Jordan during March 2020–January 2021: no physical distancing; intermittent physical distancing where all but essential services are closed once a week; intermittent physical distancing where all but essential services are closed twice a week; and a permanent physical distancing intervention. Modeling showed that the fourth strategy would be most effective in reducing cases and deaths; however, this approach was only marginally beneficial to reducing COVID-19 disease compared with an intermittently enforced physical distancing intervention. Scenario-based model influenced policy-making and the evolution of the pandemic in Jordan confirmed the forecasting provided by the modeling exercise and helped confirm the effectiveness of the policy adopted by the government of Jordan.

Abstract Background: Varicocele is characterized by abnormal dilation of the testicular vein, which results in hypoxia, the accumulation of reactive oxygen species, and the production of proinflammatory cytokines. It seems that a group of cytosolic receptors named nod-like receptor family, pyrin domain containing 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome, is activated and involved in the pathogenesis of varicocele. Objective: We aim to determine the time course of NLRP3 inflammasome expression in the testis tissue following varicocele induction. Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, 36 adult Wistar rats (8 wk, 200-250 gr) were used. For the varicocele induction, the left renal vein was partially ligated. The mRNA levels of NLRP3, apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a caspase recruitment domain, and caspase-1 were evaluated by real-time polymerase chain reaction at 1, 2, 4, 8, and 12 wk after varicocele induction. Results: Results showed that the gene expression of NLRP3 inflammasome component including NLRP3, apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a caspase recruitment domain, and caspase-1 did not alter during week 1, 2, 4, and 8 after operation (p = 0.09). 12 wk after varicocele induction, gene expression levels were significantly up-regulated (p = 0.02). Conclusion: Our data provides clear evidence that varicocele stimulates inflammasome activation in the testis tissue 12 wk after the operation, and this time is required for investigating NLRP3 activity in the varicocele rat model.

Purpose: this study has been conducted with the aim of understanding the phenomenon of evading teamwork with a phenomenological approach in the General Department of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare of Fars Province. Method: The research method of the present study was conducted with qualitative analysis of hermeneutic phenomenology. In order to collect the data, an interview protocol was prepared. The statistical population included 11 eligible experts who were selected using the purposeful and non-probability sampling method, and in-depth and semi-structured interviews were given to them. Qualitative analysis of phenomenology has been used to identify the main and sub-categories of the research. MAXQDA software was used for qualitative analysis. Findings: The findings showed that 39 sub-categories were identified by examining and categorizing the descriptive codes obtained from the interview texts, according to the seven-step process of Claysey and according to their semantic similarity and affinity, they have been categorized into 7 main concepts including: inadequacy of the educational system, negative personality traits, weak communication and interactions, inappropriate organizational structure, insufficient knowledge and awareness of employees, lack of budget and financial resources, and negative cultural beliefs. Holsti coefficient was used for the final validation, reliability, transferability and verifiability of the data. The value of PAO in the present study was 0.712, which is greater than 0.7, and the data was confirmed. The results show that the categories of inadequacy of the educational system, personality traits, poor communication and interactions, inappropriate organizational structure, insufficient knowledge and awareness of employees, lack of budget and financial resources, and negative cultural beliefs have a direct impact on teamwork.Conclusion: Finally, practical suggestions were presented to the managers of the General Department of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare of Fars province to overcome the challenges and problems of teamwork evasion.

Modern society's understanding of the meaning of Azab is often inaccurate; many understand it as torture, cruelty, and God's retribution. This article was created to examine how the concept of Azab is understood and perceived by Muslims. Because most know Azab as torment, pain, and God's cruelty, Roland Barthes' semiotics will be used as a knife to find out how the true meaning of doom from the Qur'an relates to this topic for analysis. Barthes argues that all language systems can be understood through two steps: the first is known as the linguistic system (linguistics), and the second is known as the myth system (mythology). To achieve the myth system, namely by using a sign system consisting of three components: the signifier, the signified, and the sign on the second level. Using Roland Barthes' semiotics, the concept of Azab, understanding that God will torture humans who have sins in the afterlife, is just a myth. Punishment is not a form of His wrath but a form of His love. God has given His servant signs of Azab as proof of nature rahman and womb Him so that humans do not get that painful Azab. Even though, in the end, a sinful human still gets punishment (torture) as a reward for his actions, all of this is because God wants to purify and cleanse humans from sins while living in the world.

Objective: Some reports have indicated that conditioned medium from growing mouse embryonic stem cells (ESCs)provides a supportive condition for small follicles growing, oocyte maturation, and following embryo growth. The aim ofthis study is assessing in vitro maturation (IVM) and consequent in vitro fertilization (IVF) outcome of immature mouseoocytes using human embryonic stem cells conditioned medium (HESCM).Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, 240 germinal vesicle (GV) oocytes were took from NMRI femalemice, aged 4-6 weeks, 48 hours before injection of 5 IU pregnant mare serum gonadotropin (PMSG). 120 GV oocyteswithout cumulus cells were cultured in each of the groups. 120 GV were cultured in HESCM as test groups and also120 GV cultured in human embryonic stem cells medium (HESM) as control groups. After evaluating the metaphase II(MII) oocyte maturation rate at 8, 16 and 24 hours, the MII oocytes subsequently were fertilized in vitro and the two-cellembryo development rate was recorded at days 1, 2, and 3. Statistical analysis was performed by using the generalizedestimating equations (GEE) method that calculated their rate ratio.Results: Our data indicated there are significant differences between the maturation rates in HESCM and HESM(P=0.004), also the two-cell embryo development was significant between two culture media (P=0.00).Conclusion: Similar to some other studies, the secretome of the HESCM showed a significant impact on the IVMoutcomes in mice.
