Aims: To synthesize the evidence of interventions based on salutogenesis for older adults. Background: With the increasing tendency of global ageing and the progression of 'healthy ageing', salutogenesis has been adopted as a framework of health promotion for older adults. Design: An integrative review following PRISMA guidelines. Data Sources: Seven databases including PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, Embase, Scopus, PsycINFO and CINAHL Plus were systematically searched on 29 September 2022 and updated on 18 July 2023. Results: Eighteen eligible studies were included in this review. Salutogenic‐based interventions fell into three main categories: dialogue‐based, health education courses based, and goal setting and achievement based. The intervention doses: length ranged from 4 weeks to 2 years, with most (n = 12) within 12 weeks; the duration of each session ranged from 30 to 150 min, with the majority (n = 7) within 1 h; the frequency ranged from five times weekly to three times in 10 months, and in six studies was once a week. Intervention providers were mostly multidisciplinary teams, while in four studies were nurses only. Most of the studies reported that salutogenic‐based interventions could improve older adults' sense of coherence, quality of life, self‐efficacy, self‐management, meaning of life and mental health. Conclusions: This review synthesized the interventions based on salutogenesis for older adults, including salutogenesis application, intervention and its doses, intervention settings and providers, and intervention effects. Future research on the effectiveness of the intervention, the optimal dose of the intervention and the underlying mechanisms are still necessary to understand salutogenic‐based interventions. The traditional flame-retardant method for carbon fiber reinforced vinyl ester resin composites is to add a large amount of solid flame retardants, which not only leads to the deterioration of the material's mechanical properties, but also increases the resin viscosity and affects the molding process of composites. In addressing this issue, this work adopts a liquid reactive flame retardant strategy and synthesizes six novel liquid phosphorus-containing reactive compounds as flame retardants. A comparative study is conducted on the effects of the structure of compounds (valence and group of phosphorus and number of reaction groups) on the properties of materials. The results demonstrate significantly improved flame retardancy and toughness, as well as unaffected viscosity and strength of the resin. When the phosphorus content does not exceed 3 wt%, the limiting oxygen index (LOI) of the resin can reach over 30% and UL-94 passes the V-0 rating. The structure of compounds significantly affects their flame retardancy mechanism. Especially, compounds rich in P-O-C structure have more outstanding condensed phase flame retardancy (promoting charring) and are more favorable for improving the LOI; Compounds rich in P-Ph and P-C structures have higher thermal stability and mainly exert gas phase flame retardancy, which is more beneficial for improving the self-extinguishing properties of materials. Solid waste containing valuable elements has the potential to be a valuable secondary resource. However, the common methods (hydrometallurgy and pyrometallurgy) used to recover these elements from solid waste consume large amounts of energy and pollute the environment. Therefore, it is crucial to explore a low energy-consuming, efficient, and environmentally friendly method for recovering these valuable elements. One promising approach is to utilize an applied electric field as a reaction driver to enhance conventional chemical leaching. By using electrons as a green leaching agent or leaching medium instead of chemical agents, the recovery of valuable elements can be significantly improved while reducing the consumption of chemical reagents and environmental pollution. This paper provides a detailed and categorized discussion on the application of different forms of electrochemical methods for the effective recovery of valuable elements from various forms of solid waste. Iron oxides nanoparticles (FeOX NPs), including α-Fe2O3, γ-Fe2O3, and Fe3O4, are employed in many technological applications. However, very few studies have investigated the embryonic developmental toxicity of FeOX NPs. In this study, metabolomics analysis were used to uncover the potential mechanisms of FeOX NPs developmental toxicity on embryo–larval zebrafish and mice. Our results indicated that γ-Fe2O3 NP treatment could cause increased mortality, dropped hatching rate, etc., while α-Fe2O3 and Fe3O4 NPs showed no obvious effect. Through metabolomics analysis, a total of 42 metabolites were found to be significantly changed between the γ-Fe2O3 NP-treated group and the control group (p < 0.05). Pathway enrichment analysis indicated the impairment of mitochondria function. γ-Fe2O3 NP treatment caused abnormal mitochondrion structure and a decrease in mitochondrial membrane potential in zebrafish embryos. Meanwhile, ATP synthesis was decreased while oxidative stress levels were affected. It is noteworthy that acetyl-l-carnitine (ALCAR) (p = 6.79E − 04) and l-carnitine (p = 1.43E − 03) were identified with minimal p values, the relationship between the two counter-balance was regulated by acetyltransferase (crata). Subsequently, we performed rescue experiments with ALCAR on zebrafish embryos, and found that the mortality rates reduced and hatching rates raised significantly in the γ-Fe2O3 NP-treated group. Additionally, γ-Fe2O3 exposure could lead to increased absorbed fetus rate, decreased placental weight, lower expression of acetyltransferase (Crat), reduced ATP synthesis as well as increased oxidative stress (p < 0.05). Our findings demonstrated that γ-Fe2O3 NP might affect the mitochondrial membrane potential and ATP synthesis by affecting the metabolism of ALCAR, thereby stimulating oxidative stress, cell apoptosis, and causing embryonic development toxicity. [Display omitted] • For the first time, ionic liquid 1-dodecyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride was used as flotation collector to recovery Y2O3 from artificial mixed phosphors. • The optimal results that the grade and recovery rate of Y 2 O 3 are 56.58% and 88.96% can be obtained. • The ionic liquid mainly adsorbed on the surface of red phosphors making the red phosphors hydrophobic and float upward. In this study, ionic liquid 1-dodecyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride was used as collector to recover Y 2 O 3 from phosphors using flotation. Y 2 O 3 grade can rise from 30.51% to 56.58%, and the maximum Y 2 O 3 recovery of 88.96% can be achieved when 1-dodecyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride and citric acid were 0.3 mg/L and 600 g/t at pH = 3. The flotation mechanism of the ionic liquid collector on the surface of phosphors was studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, zeta potential and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, the results indicated that adsorption occurred between the ionic liquid and the surface of red phosphors, which led to the separation of red phosphors.
