The room temperature structure of the perovskite Sr(Fe0.5Nb0.5)O3 ceramic has been investigated by Rietveld structure refinement using high resolution X-ray diffraction (XRD) data. The correct structure is determined to be tetragonal in the space group I4/mcm ruling out orthorhombic (Pbnm), tetragonal (P4 mm), and monoclinic structures previously reported by authors. The high temperature structural phase transition has been studied by Rietveld analysis using the high resolution XRD data in the temperature range of 300–850 K. A high temperature structural phase transition is observed from tetragonal (I4/mcm) to cubic (Pm3̅m) phase around ∼630 K. This phase transition was also confirmed by the heat flow experiment using differential scanning calorimetry. To confirm the nature of phase transition, we have studied the variation of integrated intensity (ISL) of superlattice peak and the oxygen octahedral tilt angle (φ) in a tetragonal structure with temperature. The temperature variations of these two parameters provide evidence for the tricritical nature of the phase transition. A magnetic phase transition is discovered in temperature dependence of magnetization M(T) around ∼708 K, which coincides with the dielectric anomaly temperature in loss tangent. The worldwide food supply chain network firms have embraced digitalization and have changed customers' everyday lives in serval viewpoints. This work proposes a framework for IoT and Blockchain based smart Food Chain Management System (IBFS) aiming to regulate the food inventory systems in an organization focusing on the safety and nature of the items conveyed to the end consumers. The proposed IBFS framework is an IoT-based blockchain with smart contract architecture for trust, reliability, and transparency.AMessageQueueTelemetryTransport(MQTT) (MessageQueueTelemetry Transport) broker or server is deployed on the broadcast to record all data collected from the IoT sensors. The data provided by IoT-sensors or devices is pooled and gathered by MQTT based cloud brokers and the shipment's geolocation, movement, and temperature are logged. The work uses two types of smart contracts based on Ethereum-based blockchain technology (BCT) environment as the operational backbone written in the Solidity language. The first smart contract deals with custody and the second smart contract deals with shipment or transportation to track the produce. The food supply chain process evaluates the collected data from the IoT sensors managed with the help of blockchain andMQTT servers. The quality of food is measured by evaluatingby temperature and humidity function, transition time, final item and for validation of smart contracts. The growing population and waste biomass accumulation are leading to increased environmental pollution and climate change. Waste biomass comprising of nutrient rich components has promising potential to produce value-added products for sustainable environmental solutions. This review explores the critical role of bio-based heterogeneous catalysts in enabling sustainable waste biomass utilization. In industrial chemical transformations, over 95% involve catalysts, with more than 90% being heterogeneous systems, prized for their robustness, ease of product separation, and reusability. Bio-based heterogeneous catalysts address the pressing need for sustainable waste biomass management, allowing the conversion of diverse waste biomasses into biodiesel as valuable products. Research on these catalysts, particularly for biodiesel production, has shown yields exceeding 90% with enhanced catalyst reusability. This surge in research is evident from the increasing number of published articles, notably in 2022 and 2023, highlighting growing interest and importance in the scientific community. The synthesis of these catalysts is examined, including novel approaches and techniques to enhance their efficiency, selectivity, and stability. The challenges with their feasible solutions of heterogeneous catalysts in catalyst-based processes are addressed. Altogether, this review underscores the immense potential of bio-based heterogeneous catalysts in sustainable waste biomass utilization, aligning with resource efficiency and environmental conservation goals while offering distinct insights and perspectives on the latest innovations in the field. Transfusion-related acute lung injury (TRALI), a rare yet potentially fatal complication, manifests as acute-onset non-cardiogenic pulmonary edema accompanied by severe hypoxemia. In this report, we present the case of a 25-year-old female who experienced TRALI shortly after undergoing a blood transfusion and exhibited a favorable response to steroid therapy. To evaluate difference in local recurrence, regional (neck) recurrence as well as distant metastases between cases operated with en-block excision of primary cancer and neck nodes versus their separate removal, in squamous cell carcinomas of anterior 2/3 of tongue and floor of the mouth. A total 85 patients of cT1-T4a N0-N2b of carcinoma anterior 2/3 of tongue and floor of mouth were evaluated. Amongst these patients 39 cases of in-continuity en-block neck dissection and 46 cases of discontinuous neck dissection were evaluated for post-operative complications as well as oncological outcome for a follow up period of 3 years. Patient population was similar in both groups with tongue cancers being the commonest site and tobacco being the most common addiction. Primary site hematoma was seen more in the in-continuity en-block neck dissection group with a p-value of 0.0276, which was statistically significant. Post-operative oro-cutaneous fistula occurred more in in-continuity enblock neck dissection as compared to discontinuous neck dissection, but the difference was not statistically significant. Local recurrence rate was significantly more in cases of discontinuous neck dissection (19.565) as compared to in-continuity en-block neck dissection (5.12%) with a p-Value 0.0481. A statistically non-significant but higher loco-regional recurrence was observed in cases of discontinuous neck dissection as compared to cases of in-continuity en-block neck dissection (10.56% vs 2.56). In the present study recurrence-free survival RFS 3 year in cases of en-block in-continuity neck dissection (84.06%) cases as compared to discontinuous neck dissection cases (63.04%) with p Value 0.025698. In-continuity en-block in continuity neck dissection has lower loco-regional recurrence and may impact overall distant metastases. Though early postoperative complications are more in in-continuity en-block in continuity neck dissection as compared to discontinuous neck dissection, most are managed conservatively.
