Abstract: The objective of this paper was to compare the effect of recombinant follicle-stimulating hormone (rFSH) and urinary follicle-stimulating hormone (uFSH) on pregnancy rates and live birth rates with the gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist protocol in China. This retrospective study was conducted from January 2014 through August 2017. Patients treated with uFSH had significantly higher levels of luteinizing hormone (3.79 mIU/ml vs. 3.09 mIU/ml) and progesterone (0.93 ng/ml vs. 1.16 ng/ml) on the day of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) administration, and they also had higher pregnancy rates (24.19% vs. 22.86%). There was no significant difference in the rate of live births. In the logistic regression results of the rFSH group, the pregnancy rate was positively correlated with the level of luteinizing hormone, with an odds ratio (OR) of 1.09 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.00–1.18; P = 0.048). In the uFSH group, the pregnancy rate was negatively correlated with the progesterone level on the day of HCG administration, with an OR of 0.47 (95% CI: 0.27–0.77; P = 0.004). Our research concluded that uFSH performed better than rFSH in terms of pregnancy rates when it was associated with the GnRH antagonist protocol. Meanwhile, no significant differences in the rate of live births were observed between the two groups.

Abstract: We present here an innovative platform for the determination of pH buffer capacity based on FITC-dextran loaded hydrogels. Optical signals from the pH-sensitive hydrogels were analyzed by simple parameters including distance and color change. The methodology was validated on five different buffer systems and exhibited wide linearity (0.1 to 100 mM), good batch-to-batch reproducibility, high versatility, and resistance to background ionic strength changes. Experimental results also fit well with a theoretical model based on numerical simulation. Preliminary application in carbonate alkalinity determination of seawater proved very successful. This hydrogel buffer concentration sensor is fundamentally different from conventional acid-base titrations, brings minimum perturbation to samples, and shows great potential in real applications.

Abstract: Iliac artery angiosarcoma is rare, and bone metastasis as its presenting initial symptom is extremely rare. A 67-year-old man with a history of low back pain presented with multiple MRI-identified lumbar and sacrum lesions highly suggestive of bone metastasis. On subsequent PET/CT scan, in addition to multiple vertebrae and pelvis hypermetabolism, a lesion with intense focal uptake was discovered within the lumen of left common iliac artery. Dual-time point quantitative analysis revealed that the lesion-to-liver ratio of SUVmax was significantly increased in the delayed phase. Biopsy confirmed the lesion as a primary iliac artery angiosarcoma.

Abstract: A search is performed for a long-lived particle decaying into a final state that includes a pair of muons of opposite-sign electric charge, using proton-proton collision data collected at s=13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 32.9 fb-1. No significant excess over the Standard Model expectation is observed. Limits at 95% confidence level on the lifetime of the long-lived particle are presented in models of new phenomena including gauge-mediated supersymmetry or decay of the Higgs boson, H, to a pair of dark photons, ZD. Lifetimes in the range cτ=1–2400 cm are excluded, depending on the parameters of the model. In the supersymmetric model, the lightest neutralino is the next-to-lightest supersymmetric particle, with a relatively long lifetime due to its weak coupling to the gravitino, the lightest supersymmetric particle. The lifetime limits are determined for very light gravitino mass and various assumptions for the neutralino mass in the range 300–1000 GeV. In the dark photon model, the lifetime limits are interpreted as exclusion contours in the plane of the coupling between the ZD and the Standard Model Z boson versus the ZD mass (in the range 20–60 GeV), for various assumptions for the H→ZDZD branching fraction.

Abstract: A search for vectorlike quarks is presented, which targets their decay into a Z boson and a third-generation Standard Model quark. In the case of a vectorlike quark T (B) with charge +2/3e (-1/3e), the decay searched for is T→Zt (B→Zb). Data for this analysis were taken during 2015 and 2016 with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 36.1 fb-1 of pp collisions at s=13 TeV. The final state used is characterized by the presence of b-tagged jets, as well as a Z boson with high transverse momentum, which is reconstructed from a pair of opposite-sign same-flavor leptons. Pair and single production of vectorlike quarks are both taken into account and are each searched for using optimized dileptonic exclusive and trileptonic inclusive event selections. In these selections, the high scalar sum of jet transverse momenta, the presence of high-transverse-momentum large-radius jets, as well as - in the case of the single-production selections - the presence of forward jets are used. No significant excess over the background-only hypothesis is found and exclusion limits at 95% confidence level allow masses of vectorlike quarks of mT>1030 GeV (mT>1210 GeV) and mB>1010 GeV (mB>1140 GeV) in the singlet (doublet) model. In the case of 100% branching ratio for T→Zt (B→Zb), the limits are mT>1340 GeV (mB>1220 GeV). Limits at 95% confidence level are also set on the coupling to Standard Model quarks for given vectorlike quark masses. © 2018 CERN.

Abstract: The 2019 novel coronavirus disease is spreading all over the world. Pregnant women and infants require particular concern, owing to the special immune conditions. A case of a pregnant woman who was exposed to SARS‐CoV‐2 at 34+1 weeks gestation and chose to continue pregnancy is reported. Without obvious symptoms or signs, the woman did not receive any treatment before delivery, and gave birth at 37+5 weeks to a neonate with positive immunoglobulin G for SARS‐CoV‐2 and negative nucleic acid tests. The mother was given anti‐infection, oxytocin, and fluid rehydration treatment after delivery. Both mother and infant recovered well after a three‐month follow‐up. Continued expectation to deliver at term instead of preterm can decrease the potential risk of severe perinatal and infant complications and is beneficial to the development of the neonate. More studies are required to confirm the presence of vertical transmission., A case study of a pregnant woman who was exposed to SARS‐CoV‐2 at 34+1 weeks gestation and continued expectation until 37+5 weeks with a healthy neonate is reported.

Abstract: A series of asymmetric 9, 10-dithiopheneanthrylene derivatives (DTAs) with various substituent groups and large Stokes shifts (>80 nm) have been synthesized and characterized. All of them displayed aggregation-induced emission enhancement (AIEE) behaviors expect for DTA-M, which fluorescence was gradually enhanced in low water fraction (50%), but dramatically quenched with the increase of water fraction to 90% due to the twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) effect. The size of particles in aggregates were studied by using a scanning electron microscope, indicating the formation of morphological diversity nanoparticles due to the various substituents on 2-position of lateral thiophene ring. Furthermore, all of them exhibited reversible mechanofluorochromic and vapochromic luminescence behaviors, especially compound DTA-M, which showed high color contrast mechanofluorochromism between yellow and red color. In addition to the AIEE and mechanofluorochromic properties, HeLa cells fluorescence imaging experiments proved that these DTAs are capable to achieving bioimaging.

Abstract: Two diarylethenes containing the hybrid structures of benzothiophene and pyrrole backbone were synthesized and their structures and properties including photochromism, fatigue resistance, and fluorescence were systematically investigated. Both of them exhibit good photochromisms and can function as fluorescence switches in both solution and solid state upon the irradiations of UV/vis lights. Compared with that bearing cyano group (1O), the carboxamide group containing diarylethene (2O) exhibits a higher molar absorption coefficient in solution, and its maximum absorption in solid state red-shifts by 30 nm, as compared with that in solution. In addition, the application potentials of 2O in bioimaging are demonstrated with excellent performances under physiological conditions.

Abstract: The past two decades witnessed the widespread adoption of microfluidics for miniaturized and automated chemical analysis. Microfluidic techniques require less sample, consume less reagents, and may enhance the sensitivity, precision, response time, and throughput of the analytical methods. The integration of multiple components and functionalities in microfluidic chips can further lead to fully automated Micro Total Analysis Systems (Lab-on-a-Chip). This review focuses on chemical and biochemical sensing of inorganic ions including electrolyte cations, heavy metal ions, and small anions in microfluidic devices. We provide an overview on how different optical and electrochemical ion sensing schemes based on liquid sensing phases or solid sensing phases can be coupled with microfluidics. Various microfluidics platforms including continuous-flow microfluidics, droplet microfluidics, digital microfluidics, centrifugal microfluidics, cell-based microfluidics, paper-based microfluidics, and wearable microfluidics are covered. The sensing principle, chip material, device fabrication, detector configuration, and analytical performance are presented for selected systems. This review concludes with a brief outlook on how microfluidic ion sensors may be further advanced.

Abstract: One reason for the poor therapeutic effects of stem cell transplantation in traumatic brain injury is that exogenous neural stem cells cannot effectively migrate to the local injury site, resulting in poor adhesion and proliferation of neural stem cells at the injured area. To enhance the targeted delivery of exogenous stem cells to the injury site, cell therapy combined with neural tissue engineering technology is expected to become a new strategy for treating traumatic brain injury. Collagen/heparan sulfate porous scaffolds, prepared using a freeze-drying method, have stable physical and chemical properties. These scaffolds also have good cell biocompatibility because of their high porosity, which is suitable for the proliferation and migration of neural stem cells. In the present study, collagen/heparan sulfate porous scaffolds loaded with neural stem cells were used to treat a rat model of traumatic brain injury, which was established using the controlled cortical impact method. At 2 months after the implantation of collagen/heparan sulfate porous scaffolds loaded with neural stem cells, there was significantly improved regeneration of neurons, nerve fibers, synapses, and myelin sheaths in the injured brain tissue. Furthermore, brain edema and cell apoptosis were significantly reduced, and rat motor and cognitive functions were markedly recovered. These findings suggest that the novel collagen/heparan sulfate porous scaffold loaded with neural stem cells can improve neurological function in a rat model of traumatic brain injury. Abstract: Erbium-ytterbium co-doped aluminium oxide (Al2O3:Er3+:Yb3+) thin films were deposited on thermally oxidized silicon wafers using reactive radio frequency co-sputtering deposition. The effects of deposition parameters (including oxygen flow rate, substrate temperature and substrate bias) were investigated to obtain low loss Al2O3 films (~0.15 dB/cm at 1550 nm). A set of singly- and co-doped Al2O3 films (surface roughness: ~144.8 p.m.) with various Er3+ concentrations (1.4, 2.0 and 2.5 × 1020 cm−3) and/or Yb3+ concentrations (1.3, 2.1, 3.2, 4.3 and 5.8 × 1020 cm−3) were deposited and investigated. The Er3+ photoluminescence (PL) spectrum around 1550 nm exhibits a pump power-independent full width at half maximum (FWHM) of ~40 nm with and without the presence of Yb3+ as a sensitizer. The luminescent lifetime of Er3+ (4I13/2, 6.52–7.14 m s) exhibits a power-dependent characteristic, while that of Yb3+ (2I5/2, 0.514–0.716 m s) is power-independent. A power-dependent role of energy transfer upconversion is concluded from both the power-dependent Er3+ PL intensity trend and its power-dependent PL decay rate. Yb3+-Er3+ ion energy transfer also exhibits power-dependent characteristics. The energy transfer coefficient (up to ~3.2 × 10−17 cm3s−1) and energy transfer efficiency (up to ~80%) depend on the Yb3+ and Er3+ concentrations. The PL intensity trend and power-dependent absorption of Er3+ and Er3+-Yb3+ under 1469-nm excitation can be well described by using a three-energy-level model. The derived Er3+ quenching fraction based on the fittings of the measured absorption and PL intensity, decreases with the presence of Yb3+ ions. In addition, the Yb3+ quenching fraction was derived based on a two-energy-level model for 973-nm absorption. This work provides parametric references and insights regarding deposition, characterization, and design of the evolving rare-earth-doped Al2O3 platform for on-chip near-infrared applications.

Abstract: Arsenite is the predominant arsenic species in flooded paddy soil, and arsenite bioaccumulation in rice grains has been identified as a major problem in many Asian countries. Lowering arsenite level in rice plants and grain via accelerating arsenite oxidation is a potential strategy to help populations, who depended on rice consumption, to reduce the internal exposure level of arsenic. We herein isolated a strain, Achromobacter xylosoxidans GD03, with the high arsenite-oxidizing ability and plant growth-promoting traits. We observed that arsenite exposure could promote A. xylosoxidans GD03 to excrete indole-3-acetic acid and thus promoted rice growth. The pot culture experiments of Indica rice cultivar Guang You Ming 118 (GYM118) demonstrated that A. xylosoxidans GD03 inoculation of paddy soil (4.5–180 × 108 CFU GD03/kg soil) significantly accelerated arsenite oxidation in flooded soil. The daily arsenic oxidation rate with GD03 inoculation was 1.5–3.3 times as that without strain GD03 inoculation within the whole growth period of Indica GYM118 in the presence of the native microflora. It thus led to a 34–69%, 43–74%, 24–76% and 35–57% decrease in arsenite concentration of the stems, leaves, bran and grain of Indica GYM118 respectively and a 59–96% increase in rice grain yield. The paddy soil inoculated with 40.0 mL/kg of A. xylosoxidans GD03 resulted in a lowest As(III) concentrations in all rice organs of Indica GYM118, which equivalent to only 24–50% of the As(III) concentrations in the group without GD03 inoculation. The results highlight that a highly arsenite-oxidizing bacterium could accelerate arsenite oxidation of paddy soil when facing competition with the native microflora, thus decrease arsenic toxicity and bioavailable soil arsenic.

Abstract: This article describes a microfluidic SERS chip-based rapid and high-throughput method for the determination of chemical and biological analytes, specifically of melamine. The chip consists of an indium tin oxide (ITO) glass plate modified with silver-gold nanocomposites (Ag-Au NCs) and a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) cover plate. The chip has five parallel microfluidic channels. The ITO glass provides electrical conductivity and has a smooth surface which makes it well suited for the deposition of the Ag-Au NC by electrodeposition and galvanic replacement. This technique allows good control of the morphology and composition of the composite. Under optimized conditions, the microfluidic SERS chip provides excellent sensitivity for 4-mercaptobenzoic acid (4-MBA). The detection limit is 0.1 nM and the SERS enhancement factor is 2.7×1010. The chip exhibits good stability over time and good reproducibility, with a RSD of 8.6 % between the 5 micro-channels. The chip was successfully applied to the determination of melamine in milk with a 10 nM detection limit and an analytical range from 10 nM to 0.1 mM. It is demonstrated that the microfluidic SERS chip developed here shows great promise for use in biochemical assays.

Abstract: Pyrrolizidine alkaloids are the toxic components in Tussilago farfara L. Due to the lack of standard substances for quantitative analysis and traces of pyrrolizidine alkaloids in total alkaloids, the full quality control of Tussilago farfara L has been limited. In this study, we aimed to solve the difficulty of determination of pyrrolizidine alkaloids and identify more components in the total alkaloids. An on-line preconcentration method has been applied to improve determining sensitivity of pyrrolizidine alkaloids in Tussilago farfara L. in which included field-amplified sample stacking and sweeping in micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography. The main parameters that affected separation and stacking efficiency were investigated in details. Under the optimal conditions, the sensitivity enhancement factors obtained by the developed method for the analytes were from 15- to 12-fold, the limits of detection of senkirkine and senecionine were 2∼5 μg/L. Senkirkine and senecionine have been detected in alkaloids (c) of Tussilago farfara L, along ferulic acid methyl ester and methyl caffeate. The developed method was also applied to the analysis of acid extraction (a) of Tussilago farfara L, and senkirkine could be detected directly. The results indicated that the developed method is feasible for the analysis of pyrrolizidine alkaloids in Tussilago farfara L with good recoveries.

Abstract: Cobalt/nickel-based compounds have been extensively used as cathode (positive electrode) materials in alkaline electrolyte for hybrid supercapacitors (HSCs). In these HSCs, however, the anodes (negative electrodes) are almost carbon-based materials that exhibit limited capacitance, leading to relatively low energy density of the device. Herein, we report a novel dual-ion HSC concept, that is, utilizing anion and cation in the electrolyte, respectively, by the two electrodes for charge storage, to promote the device’s performance. Abstract: A new asymmetrical photochromic diarylethene with a 2-(2′-hydroxyphenyl)benzothiazole unit has been synthesized. It underwent reversible cyclization and cycloreversion reactions upon alternating irradiation with lower energy UV (297 nm, 25 μW/cm2) and visible light, while it could induce intramolecular proton transfer reaction upon irradiation with higher energy UV light (254 nm, 92 μW/cm2) with distinct color change. The absorption maximum of the closed-ring isomer was redshifted from 539 nm to 660 nm and the color changed from purple to cyan when the diarylethene was stimulated with base. Furthermore, addition of acid enhanced its fluorescence intensity by 5.5 fold and the emission peak was blueshifted from 596 nm to 570 nm with a concomitant color change from light orange to bright green, while base could efficiently quench its fluorescence intensity. Finally, the diarylethene was highly selective towards Cu2+ with significant absorption and fluorescence changes, which makes the ‘naked-eye’ detection of Cu2+ possible.

Abstract: A novel photochromic diarylethene has been synthesized using dithieno-benzo-imidazole as a functional group and perfluorodiarylethene as photon-controlled unit via a benzene linkage. The diarylethene could be used as a multi-addressable fluorescence switch upon triggering by acid/base, light, and Al 3+ in acetonitrile. When stimulated by base, the absorption maximum of its closed-ring isomer was red-shifted from 560 nm to 594 nm with an evident color change from purple to blue. When induced by acid, the emission intensity of its open-ring isomer was enhanced by 109 fold with a notable fluorescence color change from dark to bright cyan. Moreover, its fluorescence intensity was dramatically increased when triggered by Al 3+ and its emission peak was red-shifted from 460 nm to 476 nm due to the formation of a 1:2 metal/ligand complex. In addition, its light and metal-responsive fluorescence behavior was applied to the construction of a molecular logic circuit with three inputs and one output.

Abstract: Seasonal variations in the biochemical composition of Rapana venosa in relation to reproductive cycle and environment on the northern coast of China were investigated from March 2012 to February 2013. The results indicated that R. venosa has an annual reproductive cycle with synchronized gonad development in both females and males. Gametogenesis was initiated in September and gametes developed slowly during the winter, followed by rapid gonad development during spring and summer. Most individuals from this study were sexually mature between May and June, and gamete release occurred mainly between May and August. The peak of spawning was found in July and the recovery of the gonad was observed between August and November. The key biochemical components including glycogen, protein and lipid were analysed in four tissues, specifically the gonad, digestive gland, mantle and foot. Abstract: Battery electric buses can reduce energy use and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in China's transportation system. On-road testing is necessary to evaluate these benefits compared to their diesel counterparts through life-cycle assessment for both the upstream fuel production and operation stages. Three electric buses from China are operated and charged in Macao under different air-conditioning, load, and speed settings. In the minimum load scenario, the two 12-m buses achieve 138–175 kWh/100 km, and the 8-m bus achieves 79 kWh/100 km (system charging loss included). When air-conditioning and load are at their maximum values, the energy consumption increases by 21–27%; however, air-conditioning usage exerts a greater impact than passenger load. The diesel bus on-road performance increases more significantly than the electric bus performance under low speeds, higher load, and air-conditioning use, while the electric bus energy and CO2 emission benefits increase. Across a wide range of conditions, the electric bus reduces petroleum use by 85–87% compared to a diesel bus and achieves a 32–46% reduction in fossil fuel use and 19–35% in CO2 emissions from a life-cycle perspective. A cleaner power grid and an increase in system charging efficiency (if better than 60–84%) would enhance the future benefits of electric buses.

Materials and Methods: An institutional database of 411 patients with rectal cancer was used to develop a nomogram to predict perirectal lymph nodes metastases. Patients’ clinicopathological and MRI-assessed imaging variables were included in the multivariate logistic regression analysis. The model was externally validated and the performance was assessed by area under curve (AUC) of the receiver operator characteristics (ROC) curves. The interobserver agreement was measured between two independent radiologists. Results: The diagnostic accuracy of the conventional MRI-assessed cN stage was 68%; 14.2% of the patients were over-staged and 17.8% of the patients were under-staged. A total of 35.1% of the patients had disagreed diagnosis for the cN stage between the two radiologists, with a kappa value of 0.295. A nomogram for predicting pathological lymph nodes metastases was successfully developed, with an AUC of 0.78 on the training data and 0.71 on the validation data. The predictors included in the nomogram were MRI cT stage, CRM involvement, preoperative CEA, tumor grade and lymph node size category. This nomogram yielded improved prediction in cN stage than the conventional MRI-based assessment. Conclusions: By incorporating clinicopathological and MRI imaging features, we established a nomogram that improved the diagnostic accuracy and remarkably minimized the interobserver disagreement in predicting lymph nodes metastases in rectal cancers.

Abstract: How spatial organization of the genome depends on nuclear shape is unknown, mostly because accurate nuclear size and shape measurement is technically challenging. In large cell populations of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, we assessed the geometry (size and shape) of nuclei in three dimensions with a resolution of 30 nm. We improved an automated fluorescence localization method by implementing a post-acquisition correction of the spherical microscopic aberration along the z-axis, to detect the three dimensional (3D) positions of nuclear pore complexes (NPCs) in the nuclear envelope. Here, we used a method called NucQuant to accurately estimate the geometry of nuclei in 3D throughout the cell cycle. To increase the robustness of the statistics, we aggregated thousands of detected NPCs from a cell population in a single representation using the nucleolus or the spindle pole body (SPB) as references to align nuclei along the same axis. We could detect asymmetric changes of the nucleus associated with modification of nucleolar size. Stereotypical modification of the nucleus toward the nucleolus further confirmed the asymmetric properties of the nuclear envelope., Summary: This novel method to explore 3D geometry of the nuclear envelope with enhanced resolution and post-acquisition correction of z-axis aberration revealed increased NPC density near the SPB and the nucleolus.

Abstract: In budding yeast, RNA polymerase III–transcribed genes preferentially associate with the nucleolar and nuclear periphery when permitted by the Rabl-like orientation of interphase chromosomes., The association of RNA polymerase III (Pol III)–transcribed genes with nucleoli seems to be an evolutionarily conserved property of the spatial organization of eukaryotic genomes. However, recent studies of global chromosome architecture in budding yeast have challenged this view. We used live-cell imaging to determine the intranuclear positions of 13 Pol III–transcribed genes. The frequency of association with nucleolus and nuclear periphery depends on linear genomic distance from the tethering elements—centromeres or telomeres. Releasing the hold of the tethering elements by inactivating centromere attachment to the spindle pole body or changing the position of ribosomal DNA arrays resulted in the association of Pol III–transcribed genes with nucleoli. Conversely, ectopic insertion of a Pol III–transcribed gene in the vicinity of a centromere prevented its association with nucleolus. Pol III–dependent transcription was independent of the intranuclear position of the gene, but the nucleolar recruitment of Pol III–transcribed genes required active transcription. We conclude that the association of Pol III–transcribed genes with the nucleolus, when permitted by global chromosome architecture, provides nucleolar and/or nuclear peripheral anchoring points contributing locally to intranuclear chromosome organization.

Abstract: In large indoor spaces such as complexes and logistics warehouses, sensor networks with automated mobile devices rely on high-accuracy indoor positioning systems. Due to the complexity of the indoor space structure, access point (AP) deployment is the key problem of indoor wireless location applications. The goal is to obtain an AP location scheme with high positioning accuracy and controllable deployment cost for any given indoor space structure, while the deployment algorithm itself has acceptable time overhead. This paper proposes a fast deployment algorithm based on graph theory. In this algorithm, the indoor plane space is modeled according to the coverage characteristics of wireless signals, and the problem is reduced into the k-coloring problem of weighted undirected graphs. Therefore, a graph coloring algorithm is proposed to obtain the deployment location of AP. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve better positioning accuracy and cost deployment scheme in polynomial time compared with the existing greedy or heuristic algorithms. Abstract: Purpose To establish and validate a combined clinical-radiomics model for preoperative prediction of synchronous peritoneal metastasis (PM) in patients with colorectal cancer (CRC). Method We enrolled 779 patients (585 in the training set: 553 with nonmetastasis (NM) and 32 with PM; 194 in the validation set: 184 with NM and 10 with PM) with clinicopathologically confirmed CRC. The significant clinical risk factors were used to build the clinical model; the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) algorithm was adopted to construct a radiomics signature, which included imaging features of the primary lesion and the largest peripheral lymph node, and stepwise logistic regression was applied to select the significant variables to develop the clinical-radiomics model. We used the Akaike information criterion (AIC) and receiver operating characteristic analysis to compare the goodness of fit and the prediction performance of the three models respectively. An independent validation cohort, containing 139 consecutive patients from February to September 2018, was used to evaluate the performance of the optimal model. Results Among the three models, the clinical-radiomics model (AUC = 0.855; AIC = 1043.2) was identified as the optimal model, with the maximum AUC value and the minimum AIC value (the clinical-only model: AUC = 0.771, AIC = 1277.7; the radiomics-only model: AUC = 0.764, AIC = 1280.5). The clinical-radiomics model also showed good discrimination in both the validation cohort (AUC = 0.793) and the independent validation cohort (AUC = 0.781). Conclusions The present study proposes a clinical-radiomics model created with the CT-based radiomics signature and key clinical features that can potentially be applied in the individual preoperative prediction of synchronous PM for CRC patients.

Abstract: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) is spreading worldwide. All aspects of pregnancy management from conception to delivery to puerperium as risks facing newborns are herein, reviewed. Maternal home management and prenatal care management protection, delivery timing or mode selection, delivery process management, and subsequent puerperal protection are crucial. In this Review, the features and treatment strategies, especially emphasizing the safety of antiviral drugs for pregnant women, the wearing of face masks, and practicing of personal hygiene (e.g., handwashing, disinfection, home cleaning, and ventilation) are reviewed as essential protective measures. It is recommended to provide online consultation, telemedicine, and remote fetal heart rate monitoring and set the flow point for prenatal examination to encourage prenatal examination at home or postponing examinations (except nuchal translucency at 11‐13+6 weeks, Oscar Test at 16 weeks, and fetal ultrasound at 20–24 weeks). It is shown that the precise formulation of follow‐up strategies for pregnant women with COVID‐19 is necessary., The 2019 novel coronavirus (2019‐nCoV) spread throughout the world rapidly. All aspects of pregnancy management from conception to delivery to puerperium, and including risks for newborns are reviewed in the paper.

Abstract: Antimony (Sb) is not an essential element for humans and plants although it can be used to treat some human diseases, such as schistosomiasis. Sb contamination has been documented in many regions around the world, particularly in China. The Sb contamination in the environment often stems from anthropogenic activities such as mining, smelting, and shooting. Within the latest decade, great progress has been made in research examining the physiochemical behavior of Sb in the environment, including 1) the extent of Sb pollution around the world particularly in China; 2) the mechanisms and factors influencing Sb migration in soils, especially the adsorption/desorption of Sb by minerals or organic materials; 3) the transformations influencing speciation catalyzed by soil microbes; 4) to a lesser extent, the toxicity of Sb to plants and soil animals. In this review, we highlighted the current knowledge with respect to 1) how soil physicochemical properties (including water regimes, pH, organic materials and Eh), and soil organisms will affect the soil bioavailability of Sb, and subsequently the uptake of Sb by plants; 2) the uptake pathway of antimonite and antimonate, the translocation of Sb from roots to shoots, and the redistribution and toxicity of Sb in plants.

Abstract: Two asymmetric 9, 10-dithienylanthracene compounds (DTAs), [9-thienyl-10-(5-vinylbenzoxazolyl-2-thienyl)]anthracene (DTA-BO) and [9-thienyl-10-(5-vinylbenzothiazolyl)-2-thienyl]anthracene (DTA-BT), have been designed, synthesized and characterized. The DTAs exhibit aggregation-induced emission enhancement (AIEE) behaviors and high fluorescence quantum yields in the states of aggregation, as well as reversible mechanofluorochromic (MFC) behaviors upon grinding-CH2Cl2 fuming. Intriguingly, DTA-BO and DTA-BT show great application potentials in cell imaging with good cell membrane penetration and strong luminescent emission performances. Our work is helpful for the design and development functional AIEE dyes based on DTA-skeleton.

Abstract: Small molecule biothiols, such as cysteine (Cys), homocysteine (Hcy) and glutathione (GSH), are important biomarkers and play vital roles in many physiological processes. Due to their similarity in structure and function, it is still a challenge to develop probes that can simultaneously distinguish Cys, Hcy and GSH from each other. Lysosome is a major subcellular organelle in living cells that contains approximately 50 different degradative enzymes, and biothiols play an important role in lysosome. Herein, we developed a lysosome-targetable probe Lyso-O-NBD for simultaneous detection and discrimination of Cys/Hcy and GSH by dual channels. Under double-wavelength excitation of 400 nm and 470 nm, the probe Lyso-O-NBD showed high selectivity and sensitivity towards Cys/Hcy and GSH over other amino acids and ions. Furthermore, the probe Lyso-O-NBD could be used for simultaneous detection and discrimination of Cys/Hcy and GSH in lysosome of living cells with low cytotoxicity.

Abstract: Background Dachshund homologue 1 (DACH1) is highly expressed in LGR5+ intestinal stem cells and colorectal tumours. However, the roles of DACH1 in intestinal cell stemness and colorectal tumorigenesis remain largely undefined. Methods We used immunohistochemistry, western blotting and quantitative real-time PCR to analyse DACH1 expression in colorectal cancer (CRC) samples. CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing and lentiviral vector-mediated overexpression and shRNA-mediated knockdown of DACH1 were utilized to modulate DACH1 expression in cell lines and organoids. An intestinal organoid-based functional model was analysed, and cancer cell colony formation, sphere formation assays and murine xenotransplants were performed to reveal the role of DACH1 in CRC cell proliferation, stemness and tumorigenesis. Immunofluorescence, co-immunoprecipitation, RNA interference and microarray data analyses were conducted to demonstrate the association between DACH1 and the bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signalling pathway. Findings DACH1 is specifically expressed in discrete crypt base cells, and increased DACH1 expression was found in all stages of CRC. Moreover, the high expression of DACH1 independently predicted poor prognosis. In colon cancer cells, shRNA-mediated suppression of DACH1 inhibited cell growth in vitro and in vivo. By studying the intestinal organoid-based functional model, we found that depletion of DACH1 reduced the organoid formation efficiency and tumour organoid size. DACH1 overexpression stimulated both colonsphere formation and tumour organoid formation in the context of dysregulated BMP signalling. Mechanistic characterizations indicated that overexpression of DACH1 affects a subset of stem cell signature genes implicated in stem cell proliferation and maintenance through the suppression of BMP signalling via SMAD4. Interpretation Together, our study highlights DACH1 as an integral regulator of BMP signalling during intestinal tumorigenesis, and DACH1 could be a potential prognostic marker and therapeutic target for colorectal cancer patients.

Abstract: Apoptosis of intestinal epithelial cells following oxidative stress is a major cause of mucosal barrier dysfunction and is associated with the pathogenesis of various gastrointestinal diseases. Although L-tryptophan (Trp) is known to improve intestinal integrity and function, a beneficial effect of N-acetyl serotonin (NAS), a metabolite of Trp, on the apoptosis of enterocytes and the underlying mechanisms remain largely unknown. In the present study, we showed that porcine enterocytes treated with 4-hydroxy-2-nonenal (4-HNE), a metabolite of lipid peroxidation, led to upregulation of apoptotic proteins, including Bax and cleaved caspase-3, and reduction of tight junction proteins. These effects of 4-HNE were significantly abrogated by NAS. In addition, NAS reduced ROS accumulation while increasing the intracellular concentration of glutathione (GSH), and the abundance of the Nrf2 protein in the nucleus and its downstream target proteins. Importantly, these protective effects of NAS were abrogated by Atra, an inhibitor of Nrf2, indicating a dependence on Nrf2 signaling. Taken together, we demonstrated that NAS attenuated oxidative stress-induced cellular injury in porcine enterocytes by regulating Nrf2 signaling. These findings provide new insights into a functional role of NAS in maintaining intestinal homeostasis.

Abstract: Three new symmetrical 9,10-dithienylanthracene (DTA) derivatives, including 9,10-bis-(4-(4-methoxyphenyl)-5-methylthiophene-2-yl)anthracene (BMPTA), 9,10-bis-(5-methyl-4-phenylthiophene-2-yl)anthracene (BPTA), and 9,10-bis-(4-(4-cyanophenyl)-5-methylthiophene-2-yl)anthracene (BCPTA), with excellent aggregation-induced emission (AIE) behaviors had been designed and synthesized successfully. Crystal BMPTA and BPTA had nonplanar conformations because of the multiple intermolecular hydrogen bonding interaction between the adjacent molecules, which restricted their intramolecular rotation and enabled them to emit intensely. Additionally, both BMPTA and BPTA exhibited reversible mechanofluorochromic (MFC) performance by grinding-fuming, which was systematically investigated with powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and photoluminescent (PL) lifetime. The results showed that substituent groups had significant influence on their molecular packing, MFC and AIE properties. Furthermore, these DTA luminogens could be applied in cell imaging as fluorochrome.

Abstract: Antimony (Sb) is a toxic element for both human and plants, but the toxic responses of plants to different forms of antimony and the associated mechanisms are unknown. This study was carried out to investigate the effects of different forms of Sb [Sb(III) and Sb(V)] on the root exudates, root endogenous hormones, root cell wall components and antioxidant systems in rice plant via three hydroponic experiments. The results showed that Sb(III) displayed a higher toxicity than Sb(V) to the plant which accumulated much more Sb in its tissues under Sb(III) exposure than that under Sb(V) exposure. Under Sb(III) exposure, most of absorbed Sb was found to be Sb(III) in the shoots and roots; however when plants were exposed to Sb(V), most of absorbed Sb in this rice plant was Sb(V). Only two kinds of endogenous hormones were detected as abscisic acid (ABA) and salicylic acid (SA). The addition of Sb(III) significantly increased the content of ABA but Sb(V) did not, probably suggesting the higher toxicity of Sb(III) than Sb(V) might be due to the stimulation of ABA content. The addition of Sb(III) significantly increased the concentration of oxalic acid but decreased the concentrations of formic, acetic and maleic acids. Sb(V) also enhanced the oxalic acid concentration at 20 mg L−1 Sb(V) treatment level but reduced the concentrations of formic and acetic acids. Different forms of Sb dose-dependently increased the content of pectin, but significantly enhanced the content of lignin in cell wall. Different forms of Sb induced oxidative stress, but rice plant triggered the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and ascorbate peroxidase (APX) to counteract the oxidative stress.

Abstract: A colorimeric and fluorescent probe QLB-CF has been developed for the highly sensitive and specific imaging of hydrogen polysuldes (H2Sn, n> 1). Its selective fluorometric/colorimetric sensing of H2Sn was demonstrated in detail. Upon addition of H2Sn, the probe exhibited fast response to H2Sn along with a remarkable color change from colorless to yellow which could be easily observed by the naked eye. Similarly, the probe exhibited fluorescence response to H2Sn with approximately 7-fold fluorescence enhancement and the fluorescence color change from none to cyan. In addition, the probe displayed high selectivity towards H2Sn among various analytes. What’s more, the probe has been successfully applied to exogenous H2Sn detection and imaging in living cells, allowing us to visualize its sensing potential application in living cells.

Abstract: This study evaluated the anaerobic digestion of MgO metal-oxide nanoparticles combined with microwave pretreatment to increase biogas production from microalgae. The result shows the maximum total biogas yield of 342ml and 320ml were achieved by the MW pretreatment of 800W, 4min +15mg/L MgO NPs group and 600W, 6min +5mg/L MgO NPs group, which are 1.38 and 1.30 times compared to control, respectively. The influence of metallic oxide (MgO) NPs and MW pretreatment on anaerobic digestion of Enteromorpha resulted in significant increase in cumulative biogas production. The modified Gompertz equation and Logistic function model were used to simulate the nanoparticle-enhanced anaerobic digestion process, which demonstrate that the modified Gompertz equation can better simulate the fermentation process of microalgae.

Abstract: Supplemental Digital Content is available in the text, The aim of the study was to systematically characterize the interference of biotin on thyroid function tests and biotin washout periods. Ten healthy adults were recruited with administration of 5 and 10 mg/d biotin for 7 days. Analyte concentrations of thyroid function tests were measured at baseline prior to starting biotin and from 2 hours to 2 days after withdrawal of 5 and 10 mg/d biotin. The outcomes were compared the baseline with the several points after taking biotin at Roche cobas e602, Beckman UniCel DxI 800, and Abbott Architect 2000 immunoassay platforms, respectively. Ingesting 5 or 10 mg/d of biotin for 7 days could produce positive or negative interference among the thyroid function tests at Roche cobas e602 and Beckman UniCel DxI 800 systems, but no interference on Abbott Architect 2000. Interference duration of 5 mg/d biotin for Roche cobas e602 and Beckman UniCel DxI 800 of thyroid function tests lasted for 8 hours, while 10 mg/d biotin interfered with Roche cobas e602 or Beckman UniCel DxI 800 for 1 day or 2 days. Abstract: Phytoremediation is a cost-effective and environmentally friendly technology using plants for the cleanup of both inorganic and organic contaminated sites. In this study, a pot culture experiment has been conducted for 180 days in a greenhouse to examine the capability of Koelreuteria paniculata on pyrene (Pyr) dissipation in contaminated soil. Three treatments were employed and they were: (1) polluted soil with K. paniculata fine roots addition (T1), (2) polluted soil with planted seedlings (T2), and (3) polluted soil (C). Results showed Pyr concentration in soils was reduced by 21.4, 36.2, and 86.4% by natural losses, fine roots addition, and planted K. paniculata treatments, respectively, meaning plants substantially enhanced the dissipation of Pyr from soil. Cultivated K. paniculata seedlings significantly increased soil total nitrogen (TN), total organic carbon, dissolved organic carbon (DOC), and microbial biomass carbon, but not total phosphorus, when compared to the control. The removal efficiency of Pyr was lower in the adding of fine roots treatment than in the planted K. paniculata treatment. The principal component analysis indicated the promotional dissipation of Pyr in soil by planted K. paniculata was likely attributed to increased microbial quantity and activity, DOC, and TN content in the rhizosphere. Our results suggest that K. paniculata is a suitable plant species used in phytoremediation for Pyr-contaminated soils and the efficiency on the dissipation of Pyr is considerably enhanced using living plants than adding dead organic matters. The study provided a reference for the application of K. paniculata in the remediation of Pyr-contaminated soil.

Abstract: A measurement of the rapidity and transverse momentum dependence of dijet azimuthal decorrelations is presented, using the quantity RΔϕ. The quantity RΔϕ specifies the fraction of the inclusive dijet events in which the azimuthal opening angle of the two jets with the highest transverse momenta is less than a given value of the parameter Δϕmax. The quantity RΔϕ is measured in proton-proton collisions at s=8 TeV as a function of the dijet rapidity interval, the event total scalar transverse momentum, and Δϕmax. The measurement uses an event sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 20.2 fb-1 collected with the ATLAS detector at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. Predictions of a perturbative QCD calculation at next-to-leading order in the strong coupling with corrections for nonperturbative effects are compared to the data. The theoretical predictions describe the data in the whole kinematic region. The data are used to determine the strong coupling αS and to study its running for momentum transfers from 260 GeV to above 1.6 TeV. Analysis that combines data at all momentum transfers results in αS(mZ)=0.1127-0.0027+0.0063.

Abstract: Background Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have been found to play critical roles in the development and progression of various cancers. However, little is known about the effects of the circular RNA network on glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). Methods A microarray was used to screen circRNA expression in GBM. Quantitative real-time PCR was used to detect the expression of circMMP9. GBM cells were transfected with a circMMP9 overexpression vector or siRNA, and cell proliferation, migration and invasion, as well as tumorigenesis in nude mice, were assessed to examine the effect of circMMP9 in GBM. Biotin-coupled miRNA capture, fluorescence in situ hybridization and luciferase reporter assays were conducted to confirm the relationship between circMMP9 and miR-124. Results In this study, we screened differentially expressed circRNAs and identified circMMP9 in GBM. We found that circMMP9 acted as an oncogene, was upregulated in GBM and promoted the proliferation, migration and invasion abilities of GBM cells. Next, we verified that circMMP9 served as a sponge that directly targeted miR-124; circMMP9 accelerated GBM cell proliferation, migration and invasion by targeting miR-124. Furthermore, we found that cyclin-dependent kinase 4 (CDK4) and aurora kinase A (AURKA) were involved in circMMP9/miR-124 axis-induced GBM tumorigenesis. Finally, we found that eukaryotic initiation factor 4A3 (eIF4A3), which binds to the MMP9 mRNA transcript, induced circMMP9 cyclization and increased circMMP9 expression in GBM. Conclusions Our findings indicate that eIF4A3-induced circMMP9 is an important underlying mechanism in GBM cell proliferation, invasion and metastasis through modulation of the miR-124 signaling pathway, which could provide pivotal potential therapeutic targets for the treatment of GBM. Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) has experienced rapid growth over the past few years, moving from the experimental to the implementation phase in various fields, including medicine. Advances in learning algorithms and theories, the availability of large datasets and improvements in computing power have contributed to breakthroughs in current AI applications. Machine learning (ML), a subset of AI, allows computers to detect patterns from large complex datasets automatically and uses these patterns to make predictions. AI is proving to be increasingly applicable to healthcare, and multiple machine learning techniques have been used to improve the performance of assisted reproductive technology (ART). Despite various challenges, the integration of AI and reproductive medicine is bound to give an essential direction to medical development in the future. In this review, we discuss the basic aspects of AI and machine learning, and we address the applications, potential limitations and challenges of AI. We also highlight the prospects and future directions in the context of reproductive medicine.

Abstract: Importance. Acupuncture can help reduce unpleasant side effects associated with endocrine therapy for breast cancer. Nevertheless, comprehensive evaluation of current evidence from randomized controlled trials(RCTs) is lacking. Objective. To estimate the efficacy of acupuncture for the reduction of hormone therapy-related side effects in breast cancer patients. Evidence review. RCTs of acupuncture in breast cancer patients that examined reductions in hormone therapy–related side effects were retrieved from PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, Ovid MEDLINE, and Cochrane Library databases through April 2016. The quality of the included studies was evaluated according to the 5.2 Cochrane Handbook standards, and CONSORT and STRICTA (Revised Standards for Reporting Interventions in Clinical Trials of Acupuncture) statements. Intervention. Interventions included conventional acupuncture treatment compared with no treatment, placebo, or conventional pharmaceutical medication. Major outcome measures were the alleviation of frequency and symptoms and the presence of hormone therapy–related side effects. Findings/Results. A total of 17 RCTs, including a total of 810 breast cancer patients were examined. The methodological quality of the trials was relatively rigorous in terms of randomization, blinding, and sources of bias. Compared with control therapies, the pooled results suggested that acupuncture had moderate effects in improving stiffness. No significant differences were observed in hot flashes, fatigue, pain, gastrointestinal symptoms, Kupperman index, general well-being, physical well-being, tumor necrosis factor (TNF), and interleukin (IL). Conclusions. Acupuncture therapy appears to be potentially useful in relieving functional stiffness. However, further large-sample trials with evidence-based design are still needed to confirm these findings.

Abstract: A new asymmetric perfluordiarylethene (1O) was synthesized using 4, 5-[bis-(5-ethylacetate-yl)-2-thienyl]-1H-imidazole as a functional group. 1O exhibited favorable reversible cyclization and cycloreversion reactions upon alternating irradiation with UV and visible light. Both of its open- and closed-ring isomers were found to be highly selective towards Cu2+ with significant absorption and color changes, which could be used as a ‘naked-eye’ colorimetric sensor for Cu2+ detection. Upon exposure to acid, its fluorescence dramatically enhanced by 14-fold with a color change from dark to bright cyan due to the formation of the protonated compound. Moreover, 1O showed obvious fluorescence “turn-on” signal response towards Al3+, and the detection limit for Al3+ was determined to be 4.8 × 10−9 mol L−1. Based on the fluorescence signals of 1O, a combinational stimuli logic circuit were designed by using the fluorescence intensity as the output signal with the inputs of lights, Al3+ and EDTA. Finally, 1O could be used as a biological probe for detecting intracellular Al3+ in a physiological environmental.

Abstract: Continuous improvement in diagnosis and treatment has significantly increased the survival of cancer patients. Treatments for neoplastic disease, including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and surgery or combined therapy with the above methods, may lead to premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) or substantial male germ cell loss. For the patients it is a seriously double whammy. Therefore, reproductive medicine experts strongly suggest that all young patients diagnosed with a malignant tumor should immediately undergo a consultation with suggestions for fertility and endocrine function protection and preservation. Here, we discuss the background knowledge, methods, indications, pros and cons, and experimental and clinical applications of fertility preservation, and new strategies for future fertility conservation to help physicians, especially oncologist, pediatrician, hematologist, and surgeons, become aware of the concepts, methods, and importance of fertility and endocrine function protection. We also hope to help doctors develop novel personalized strategies for fertility conservation according to patients' own conditions, tumor types, treatment methods, recurrence rate and so on. This review focuses on changing and enhancing the fertility preservation idea, further investigations in clinical and translational medicine will help ensure the development of novel personalized treatments, to help cancer patients have healthy children or maintain endocrine function once they are in remission. This is just the ultimate dream of oncofertility.

Abstract: Bacteria can use the second messenger c-di-GMP to adjust their motility in response to environmental cues. The protein YcgR, upon binding of c-di-GMP, interacts with the flagellar motor to affect the motor behavior. However, the full feature of the effects of c-di-GMP::YcgR on the flagellar motor remains unclear, and its interacting partners on the motor is still controversial. Here, we characterized the effects of c-di-GMP::YcgR on the torque-speed curve of the flagellar motor, one of the most important properties of the motor, finding that it affects the motor behavior throughout the full range of load conditions from zero to high loads by shifting the motor torque-speed curve downward. We also investigated the interacting partner on the motor through dynamical fluorescent studies, finding that c-di-GMP::YcgR mainly interacts with the motor-switch complex instead of the torque-generating units (stators). To directly test the behavioral consequence of elevated c-di-GMP levels, we measured the distribution of bacteria swimming near a surface, finding that elevated c-di-GMP levels promote bacterial aggregation on surfaces. The effects of c-di-GMP on bacterial motile behavior that we characterized here are consistent with the key role that c-di-GMP plays in the transition between motile and sedentary forms of bacterial life.

Abstract: Biofilms are microbial communities composed of bacteria cells and self-produced extracellular polymeric substances and lead to antibiotic resistance, forming a great threat in the fields of medicine, food industries and so on. The formation of biofilms is a multi-stage dynamic process regulated by multiple mechanisms. Recently, researchers paid much more attention to the related research areas of biofilms, especially the detection methods of biofilms. This paper introduced the characteristics and formation process of biofilms as well as the effects of quorum sensing on biofilms development. Meanwhile, we discussed the detection methods of biofilms, especially electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) in detection of biofilms in detail. Furthermore, we reviewed and predicted that microfluidic chips based EIS served as an in-situ and online monitoring method for biofilms growth.生物被膜是细菌及其自身分泌的胞外聚合物组成的微生物群落，其形成是受多种机制共同调控的多阶段动态过程，具有较强的耐药性且难以清除，给医疗、食品等行业带来了巨大的威胁。近年来，生物被膜的相关研究领域备受关注，尤其是针对生物被膜的有效检测技术。本文在简要介绍生物被膜的特点、形成过程及群感效应对生物被膜的调控作用基础之上，总结了生物被膜常用的检测方法，重点针对电化学阻抗技术在生物被膜检测中的应用进行调研和讨论，并对基于微流控芯片的生物被膜电化学阻抗原位检测进行了综述和展望。.

Abstract: Background The objective of this study was to summarize the clinicopathological and molecular features of synchronous colorectal peritoneal metastases (CPM). We then combined clinical and pathological variables associated with synchronous CPM into a nomogram and confirmed its utilities using decision curve analysis. Materials and Methods Synchronous metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) patients who received primary tumor resection and underwent KRAS, NRAS, and BRAF gene mutation detection at our center from January 2014 to September 2015 were included in this retrospective study. An analysis was performed to investigate the clinicopathological and molecular features for independent risk factors of synchronous CPM and to subsequently develop a nomogram for synchronous CPM based on multivariate logistic regression. Model performance was quantified in terms of calibration and discrimination. We studied the utility of the nomogram using decision curve analysis. Results In total, 226 patients were diagnosed with synchronous mCRC, of whom 50 patients (22.1%) presented with CPM. After uni- and multivariate analysis, a nomogram was built based on tumor site, histological type, age, and T4 status. The model had good discrimination with an area under the curve (AUC) at 0.777 (95% CI 0.703–0.850) and adequate calibration. By decision curve analysis, the model was shown to be relevant between thresholds of 0.10 and 0.66. Conclusion Synchronous CPM is more likely to happen to patients with age ≤60, right-sided primary lesions, signet ring cell cancer or T4 stage. This is the first nomogram to predict synchronous CPM. To ensure generalizability, this model needs to be externally validated.
