BOE has launched a 21.6‐inch LTPS curved Mini LED module to meet the needs of automotive customer for oversized curved strip display, which can eliminate color mixture problem of curved display with COA (color filter on array) technology and achieve high contrast and local dimming. The radius of the module is R2000. There is no color mixture by visual inspection when the display is observed under the solid color picture, and the color shift can be up to max.3JNCD @U /D/L/R 30°. Inorganic mercury (Hg2+) is a highly toxic heavy metal in the environment. To date, the impacts of Hg2+ on the development of monocytes, or monopoiesis, have not been fully addressed. The aim of the present study was to investigate the impact of Hg2+ on monopoiesis. In this study, we treated B10.S mice and DBA/2 mice with 10 μM or 50 μM HgCl 2 via drinking water for 4 wk, and we then evaluated the development of monocytes. Treatment with 50 μM HgCl 2 , but not 10 μM HgCl 2 , increased the number of monocytes in the blood, spleen and bone marrow (BM) of B10.S mice. Accordingly, treatment with 50 μM HgCl 2 , but not 10 μM HgCl 2 , increased the number of common myeloid progenitors (CMP) and granulocyte-macrophage progenitors (GMP) in the BM. Functional analyses indicated that treatment with 50 μM HgCl 2 promoted the differentiation of CMP and GMP to monocytes in the BM of B10.S mice. Mechanistically, treatment with 50 μM HgCl 2 induced the production of IFNγ, which activated the Jak1/3-STAT1/3-IRF1 signaling in CMP and GMP and enhanced their differentiation potential for monocytes in the BM, thus likely leading to increased number of mature monocytes in B10.S mice. Moreover, the increased monopoiesis by Hg2+ was associated with the increased inflammatory status in B10.S mice. In contrast, treatment with 50 μM HgCl 2 did not impact the monopoiesis in DBA/2 mice. Background: There is a lack of relevant studies to grade the evidence on the risk factors of chronic pain after total knee arthroplasty (TKA), and only quantitative methods are used for systematic evaluation. The review aimed to systematically identify risk factors of chronic postoperative pain following TKA and to evaluate the strength of the evidence underlying these correlations. Methods: PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Embase, and CINAHL databases were searched from initiation to September 2023. Cohort studies, case-control studies, and cross-sectional studies involving patients undergoing total knee replacement were included. A semi-quantitative approach was used to grade the strength of the evidence-based on the number of investigations, the quality of the studies, and the consistency of the associations reported by the studies. Results: Thirty-two articles involving 18,792 patients were included in the final systematic review. Ten variables were found to be strongly associated with postoperative pain, including Age, body mass index (BMI), comorbidities condition, preoperative pain, chronic widespread pain, preoperative adverse health beliefs, preoperative sleep disorders, central sensitization, preoperative anxiety, and preoperative function. Sixteen factors were identified as inconclusive evidence. Conclusions: This systematic review clarifies which risk factors could be involved in future research on TKA pain management for surgeons and patients. It highlights those factors that have been controversial or weakly correlated, emphasizing the need for further high-quality studies to validate them. Most crucially, it can furnish clinicians with vital information regarding high-risk patients and their clinical attributes, thereby aiding in the development of preventive strategies to mitigate postoperative pain following TKA. Whilst China has become home to the second largest doctoral education system in the world, with over 20% of its doctoral graduates taking up postdoctoral researcher positions inside and outside of China, a lack of information regarding the expectations of these doctoral graduates in pursuing postdocs has resulted in a failure to meet their expectations, leading to insufficient institutional support for their career development. In order to improve this situation and provide more tailored institutional support for Chinese postdocs, we conducted interviews with 30 doctoral graduates from elite Chinese universities from February 2020 to December 2021 to understand their expectations for and experiences of postdocs. The data identified four expected‐to‐accumulated capitals during postdoc experiences: personal scientific capital, discipline‐related social capital, institution‐related social capital and family‐related social capital. Among these, the primary consideration for engaging in postdocs is to enhance personal scientific capital in both qualitative and quantitative aspects. Chinese doctoral graduates who choose domestic postdocs have higher expectations for increasing institution‐based social capital, while those who go abroad expect to develop discipline‐related social capital within the international academic community. Understanding these expectations will be instrumental in developing optimal approaches to providing institutional support for the career development of Chinese postdocs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Doxorubicin (DOX) is an effective anticancer drug which is widely used in clinical treatment. However, the severe cardiotoxicity limits its use. Thus, it is an urgent need to attenuate the toxicity of DOX without impairing its efficacy. Many studies show that Se may protect normal tissues from damages of some anticancer drugs. Recently, Se@SiO2 nanocomposites emerges as better substitutes for direct element Se in treatment of cancer cells for their ideal biocompatibility. In the present article, we synthesized Se@SiO2 nanocomposites and confirmed their characterization according to previous studies. We accomplished a conjunctive use of Se@SiO2 nanocomposites with DOX then explored the toxicity and efficacy of this combination. In the in vivo experiments, the survival rate of mice with DOX treatment was significantly increased by Se@SiO2. And Se@SiO2 has few interference to the therapeutic effect of DOX. Particularly, Se@SiO2 significantly attenuated DOX-induced myocardial tissue damage (serum index, apoptosis index, western-blot index) and protected mice from reduction in LVEF induced by DOX in mice model. In summary, we concluded that the protective effect of Se@SiO2 in DOX-induced cardiotoxicity was possibly attributable to the inhibition of ROS production, showing great potential of Se@SiO2 nanocomposite in the clinical use of DOX. This paper addresses one of the key challenges in the China Railway Express (CR Express) service industry, which is the asymmetry of information between the government and a CR Express operator. We formulate the CR Express service delivery problem with asymmetric information and other unique characteristics as the incentive compensation problem via the principal-agent approach. This is the first paper to develop an incentive-compatible (IC) compensation mechanism to improve CR Express service in the presence of adverse selection and moral hazard. Compared to the generic form of compensation, this paper proves that such an IC scheme with a linear compensation contract is optimal. Our optimal compensation mechanism provides a "positive incentive", where the monetary compensation is higher for the CR Express operator with lower operating costs, as opposed to the current compensation policy, which can create a "negative incentive". We find both underestimation and underinvestment problems, which become smaller when the CR Express operator's gross margin is relatively high. When the CR Express service level is discrete-valued, it is optimal to adopt a fixed compensation scheme. Finally, in the scenario with multiple CR Express operators, we propose a generalized Vickrey (GV) auction, which implicitly obtains both true gross margin and service level. The compensation offered by the government is indeed negative in the case of GV auction. Surprisingly, in this scenario, we find problems of both underestimation and overestimation. • This is first paper on compensation mechanism for government and logistics providers. • A novel generalized Vickrey auction can induce providers to tell true information. • The proposed compensation mechanism extends existing principal-agent theory. • Some interesting economic and managerial insights are given. Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) is widely distributed in the environment, which can easily lead to food contamination. Thus, it is essential to develop rapid and on-site detection of S. aureus. In the present study, an intuitive colorimetric method based on phage display technology (PDT), immunomagnetic separation (IMS), and polymerase spiral reaction (PSR) was successfully established for S. aureus detection. Peptide-2 (P2, MNVTFTT) with high affinity and specificity for S. aureus was screened by PDT. The formed P2-magnetic beads (MBs) were able to effectively enrich and isolate S. aureus from complex matrices under applied magnetic field. Then a PSR assay was developed for signal amplification and visualization and performed in a thermostatic metal bath using specific primers targeting nuc gene. The results could be observed by naked eyes with a significant color change from purple to blue. The newly developed IMS-PSR assay enabled detection of S. aureus at levels as low as 84 CFU/mL (1.5 pg) in spiked milk sample within 3 h. With all these benefits, it shows promise for rapid on-site visual detection of S. aureus. • A phage peptide was generated with an amino acid sequence of MNVTFTT. • A method was developed for the rapid detection of Staphylococcus aureus. • The detection limit reached 84 CFU/mL in a spiked milk sample within 3 h.
