Wastewater purification has evolved into a global problem in the face of increasing scarcity of freshwater resources. Photocatalysis technology possesses prominent advantages in treating pollutants in water because of its low cost and mild reaction conditions, which provides an effective way to treat multiple pollutants and reduce membrane fouling. Herein, we combine photocatalysis technology with filtration technology via in situ reduction Bi0 with Bi 2 SiO 5 strategy incorporating a carbonized wood filter to synthesize carbon/Bi 2 SiO 5 @Bi bi-functional composite. Thus, simultaneous filtration and photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B and tetracycline were achieved. After filtrating for 30 min, the degradation rate of RhB and TC were 94.23 % and 81.39 %, respectively. Especially, the flux of RhB and TC were up to 2162.16 L m−2 h−1 and 1811.32 L m−2 h−1. In addition, the composite filter also has good recyclability and reusability, after 5 cycles, the degradation efficiency of RhB remains at 91 %. This study utilized photocatalytic technology combined with membrane filtration technology to successfully solve the contradiction between catalytic efficiency and water flux, which realized rapid and dynamic removal of organic pollutants from water. Besides, the use of carbonized wood-based materials provides a potential biomass technology for the preparation of bifunctional photocatalytic filters. Membrane filtration technology demonstrates excellent continuous processing capability in organic wastewater treated processes, which is usually applied in continuous industrial processes. However, it still faces a contradiction between membrane flux and treatment efficiency. In this study, a flexible wood-based photocatalytic membrane with high membrane flux and exceptional photofenton performance was developed via partial fragment wood components and uniform loading of multi-metal oxide nanocatalysts, which breaks mentioned contradiction. The homogeneous and efficient wood-based dual-function water filtration/photofenton system was established by leveraging the directional porous structure of wood in conjunction with the nanocatalysts while adjusting their ratios, enabling effective purification of highly concentrated mixed organic wastewater. Under one solar intensity and negative pressure filtration (0.03 MPa), the system treated a mixed solution containing Rhodamine B, phenol, and tetracycline at a concentration of 280 mg L−1 with the removal efficiencies of 100 %, 93.4 %, and 90.2 %, respectively, and the membrane flux could up to 315.3 Lm−2 h−1 within one hour. The membrane showed a good recycling performance, and the decay rates were all below 5 % after five cycles. This wood-based dual-function water filtration/photo-Fenton system provides a new approach for the continuous dynamic treatment of high-concentration organic wastewater on an industrial scale. Soybean cyst nematode (SCN, Heterodera glycines) is widely considered as the model plant-parasitic nematode, which secretes effector proteins to manipulate host responses. In this study, we cloned a dorsal gland-expressed effector protein SCN-27D09 that belongs to the same family as Hg10A07 in SCN. We used the model plant pathogen rice blast fungus (Magnaporthe oryzae) to quickly predict and characterize the functions of SCN-27D09. By using M. oryzae secretion system in barley, we confirmed that the signal peptide of SCN-27D09 has secretory activity and can guide the protein into the host cells. Heterologous expression of SCN-27D09 in M. oryzae significantly enhanced the susceptibility of barley to M. oryzae. SCN-27D09 can inhibit Bax-triggered cell death when expressed in Nicotiana benthamiana. Overexpression of SCN-27D09 in soybean hairy root also increased the susceptibility of soybean plants to SCN. Moreover, yeast two-hybrid and firefly luciferase complementation imaging assays showed that SCN-27D09 interacts with a soybean plant kinase GmIPK-2. Functional characterization of GmIPK-2 revealed its positive role in soybean resistance, indicating that SCN-27D09 might compromise the function of GmIPK-2 to facilitate nematode infection. Our results not only uncover the biological role of SCN-27D09 in suppressing plant defense responses and therefore promoting nematode parasitism, but also reaffirm the potential application of the model plant pathogenic fungus M. oryzae in investigating the pathogenic roles of candidate effectors of phytonematodes. [Purpose/Significance] Scientific and technical (S&T) literature data resources are characterized with wide coverage, large quantity, many types, fast update and strong timeliness. In order to improve the effect and security of S&T literature data management, this paper studies the S&T literature management system based on the data life cycle model. [Method/Process] This paper explores the management mode of S&T documents, constructs the life cycle system of S&T documents based on the data management process, and expounds the data management tools and methods from the stages of data creation, data storage, data pre-processing, data calculation, data service, data archiving and data destruction. In the data creation stage, specific data access forms are formulated for different sources and data types, and personalized data creation tools are built to receive data completely. In the data storage stage, a unified document metadata storage system is developed by analyzing the characteristics and shortcomings of various types of data, so as to better explain and organize scientific and technological document data. In the data pre-processing stage, various tools are built to realize the formatting pre-processing, parsing, conversion, structuring and other operations of various types of data. In the data computing stage, data enrichment processing, entity relationship extraction and knowledge graph construction are mainly completed. Data provides services through a unified service interface. Data archiving completes data archiving and saving. In the data destruction phase, unnecessary data is safely destroyed. [Results/Conclusions] In this paper, the management and practice based on the life cycle of S&T literature were first carried out based on the core data set Web Of Science BP data, and then explored from the seven phases of creation, storage, pre-processing, calculation, service, archiving and destruction. Finally, based on the DAMA data quality evaluation principle, the comprehensive evaluation and evaluation of the data management effect were carried out from the six dimensions of integrity, uniqueness, real-time, validity, accuracy and consistency. The receiving integrity of data was 100%, and the non-null integrity of data was 59.75%. The uniqueness of data reached 99.23%. The real time of data was controllable. The validity of data met the constraint conditions. The accuracy of the data reached 100%. The consistency of data reached 90%. It basically solved the problem that data can be effectively managed and applied in each life cycle stage. Accurate and early detection of atherosclerosis (AS) is imperative for their effective treatment. However, fluorescence probes for efficient diagnosis of AS often encounter insufficient deep tissue penetration, which hinders the reliable assessment of plaque vulnerability. In this work, a reactive oxygen species (ROS) activated near-infrared (NIR) fluorescence and photoacoustic (FL/PA) dual model probe TPA-QO-B is developed by conjugating two chromophores (TPA-QI and O–OH) and ROS-specific group phenylboronic acid ester. The incorporation of ROS-specific group not only induces blue shift in absorbance, but also inhibits the ICT process of TPA-QO-OH, resulting an ignorable initial FL/PA signal. ROS triggers the convertion of TPA-QO-B to TPA-QO-OH, resulting in the concurrent amplification of FL/PA signal. The exceptional selectivity of TPA-QO-B towards ROS makes it effectively distinguish AS mice from the healthy. The NIR emission can achieve a tissue penetration imaging depth of 0.3 cm. Moreover, its PA 775 signal possesses the capability to penetrate tissues up to a thickness of 0.8 cm, ensuring deep in vivo imaging of AS model mice in early stage. The ROS-triggered FL/PA dual signal amplification strategy improves the accuracy and addresses the deep tissue penetration problem simultaneously, providing a promising tool for in vivo tracking biomarkers in life science and preclinical applications. In this study, we investigated the impact of fluctuating water levels on the distribution of lead (Pb) and zinc (Zn) in soil and sediments at a historical Pb-Zn smelting site along the Xiangjiang River. Despite the high pH levels (7 to 11) in the study area, which generally inhibits heavy metal solubility, we found that regular changes in water levels still affect Pb-Zn movement. Soil analysis revealed distinct redox zones within the unconfined aquifer, as shown by the variable Fe/Mn and Ce/Ce* ratios. Advanced techniques such as Mn K-edge XAFS, Mössbauer spectroscopy, and TOF-SIMS indicated persistent Fe-Mn redox cycling and highlighted the presence of Pb and Zn-rich manganese oxides near sulfur-bearing minerals. These findings suggest that acidic microzones produced by the oxidation of sulfur-bearing minerals become "refuges" for microbial and heavy metal activity. Considering that sulfur-containing minerals are widespread waste types in nonferrous metal smelting sites, these findings are instructive for a better understanding of the transformation mechanisms of heavy metal ions in nonferrous metal smelting-polluted environments and for guiding pollution remediation strategies.
