Approximate but different EBOM encode rules be used in different enterprises. To solve the enterprise in the processing of EBOM data from source SAP system and also keep the low cost, on basis of research and analyze the internal users requirement, design and develop an ASP.NET Web system for EBOM processing. The system acts as the role of middleware between SAP systems, which convert EBOM data from source SAP system to the format that target SAP system accept, and then import into the target.

Design method of main circuit parameter based on theoretical calculation and engineering practice is developed for permanent magnetic direct-drive wind power generating system with dual PWM converter topology. DC bus voltage, DC bus filter capacitor, rating value of power electronic devices and gird-side LCL filter parameters are calculated for an experimental wind power generating system. Hardware platform is built using calculated parameters, and the experimental results show that the design method is viable and expected design goal is achieved.

Silver nanoplates, also referred to as nanoprisms or nanodisks, are two-dimensional plasmonic nanostructures that have attracted intensive attention due to their strong shape-dependent optical properties and related applications. In order to obtain the silver nanoplates with high concentration, the liquid-phase reduction method was adopted. Silver nanoparticles colloid was obtained by reducing the high molar concentration of AgNO3 (up to 3.17 M) with the hydrazine hydrate (H4N2 • H2O) as reductant in the presence of polyethylene pyrrole (PVP) as the protectant. 0.5 M Sodium Citrate is introduced into the precursor aqueous which containing AgNO3 and PVP, the molar ratio of PVP to AgNO3 was tuned from 0.64 to 1.5. When molar is 1.5, the mainly particles are silver nanospheres, on the contrary, the nanospheres are transferred into nanoplates as the ratio decreased gradually, until the mainly product are nanoplates. The constituent of the silver nano-clusters was established by performing the Powder X-ray diffraction. The nano-silver dispersion with average diameter is about 113.2 nm were finally deserved. The size distribution of the silver nanoparticles is recorded by the Zeta potential analyzer. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) was used to characterize the morphology of the nano-silver particles. The silver content is about 3%. Nano-silver colloid is obtained and purified by centrifugation and wash with deionized water and ethanol. Then, water-based silver conductive ink is obtained by adding some amount deionized water and additives and adjusted parameters, which could be widely used in printed electronics.

In this article, three parts of work have been done. First, silver nano-particle dispersion had been obtained by liquid chemical reduction method with Ag+ concentration as 2.7mol/l and UV-vis, SEM were used to characterize the silver nano-particles. Then, the dispersion was purified by solvent deposit method for three times with acetone acting as the deposit agent and water-based gravure ink was obtained after adding water, resin, and other additives. The silver content and viscosity of the ink were measured by TG and rheometer. Finally, the ink was used to fabricate transparent conductive film (TCF) with PET as the substrate. The transmissivity, adhesion, conductivity, and the edge sharpness were measured. The results show that ration of silver nanoplates in the dispersion synthesized can reach to 70%. From TG curve, the silver content of the ink is wt. 49%. Viscosity of the gravure ink is 129mPa•s. The transmissivity of the film is around 80% and the calculated resistivity is 1.53×10-4Ω.cm.

Wind power and other new energy connected to power grid bring new challenges to optimal operation of power systems. The stability of power grid mainly depends on primary frequency compensation and secondary frequency compensation of thermal power units. By analyzing the theory and practice of DEH and coordinated control system (CCS) of thermal power units, combined with the insufficient of actual primary frequency compensation and automatic power generation control (AGC) strategy response to frequency of accidents, the optimization of primary frequency compensation and AGC of thermal power units automatic control were offered. The practical application results show that the proposed control strategy can effectively control the thermal power units to achieve the stability of power grid frequency.

The dynamics model was established for the simple elastic support Beam structure and derived the natural frequency equations of simple elastic support beam. Then some special frequency equations for certain supporting conditions have been analysis via the above equation. The results show that vertical elastic support constraint and torsional elastic constraint have more influence to the natural frequency of beam.

Supplemental Digital Content is available in the text, The aim of the study to evaluate the prognostic significance of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 1 and 2 (VEGFR1/2) expression levels and to correlate these levels with clinicopathological parameters in patients with cervical cancer. Forty-two patients with International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics Stage IIB–IVB cervical cancer were analyzed between January 2011 and December 2012. RNA expression levels of VEGFR1/2 were assessed by branched DNA-liquidchip technology and immunohistochemistry. Associations between RNA expression levels, important clinicopathological parameters, and patient survival were statistically evaluated. Higher VEGFR1/2 expression levels were predictive of poor overall survival (P = 0.009 and P = 0.024, respectively). Patients with higher VEGFR1 expression levels were associated with poorer progression-free survival than those with lower VEGFR1 expression levels (P = 0.043). In addition, patients with higher VEGFR1 expression levels were more likely to develop distant metastases than those with lower VEGFR1 expression levels (P = 0.049). Higher VEGFR2 expression levels were associated with larger tumor size (P = 0.037). VEGFR1/2 expression levels were prognostic factors for patients with cervical cancer. Higher VEGFR1/2 expression levels were also predictive of poor overall survival.

In this article, four new lead(II) coordination polymers based on a N,O-donor ligand 2′-(1 H-1,3,7,8-tetraaza-cyclopenta[l]phenanthren-2-yl)biphenyl-2-carboxylic acid (HL) have been hydrothermally synthesized, namely, [PbL2]·2H2O (1), [PbL2]·2H2O·CH3CH2OH (2), [Pb5L2(m-BDC)4]·3H2O (3) and [Pb2L2(p-BDC)] (4), where m-BDC = 1,3-benzenedicarboxylate and p-BDC = 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate. Compound 1 shows a 2D bilayer structure, which is further extended into a 3D supramolecular structure through π–π stacking interactions. Compound 2 shows a 3D supramolecular structure based on a zero-dimensional molecule by π–π stacking interactions of neighboring molecules. Compound 3 shows a 2D layer structure. Compound 4 displays a 1D chain-like structure, which is then stacked by π–π interactions to result in a 2D supramolecular structure. Solid-state luminescent spectra of four lead(II) complexes indicate intense fluorescent emissions.

αB-crystallin acts as an anti-apoptosis protein in human lens epithelial (HLE) cells. We recently identified a missense mutation in αB-crystallin that changes proline 20 to an arginine (P20R) in a Chinese family with autosomal dominant congenital posterior polar cataract. The impact of the P20R mutation on the anti-apoptosis function remains unclear. To explore the anti-apoptotic activity of αB-crystallin wild type (αB-wt) and its P20R mutant under oxidative stress, HLE cells were transfected with αB-wt and αB-P20R constructs and expression was measured by western blotting. Flow cytometry and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT)-mediated dUTP digoxigenin nick end-labelling (TUNEL) staining were performed to investigate apoptosis. We found that αB-wt performed a dominant role in inhibiting stress-induced apoptosis, but this function was impeded in cells expressing αB-P20R. The P20R mutant of αB-crystallin exhibits diminished anti-apoptotic activity compared with the native protein.

Increased bone fragility and low bone mass are common features of osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), which is associated with connective tissue. Its type is distinguished by clinical phenotypes and molecular genetics. Although fifteen types (I‑XV) of OI have been identified at present, the majority of patients are diagnosed as OI type I‑IV. Type I collagen is responsible for OI type I‑IV, consists of α1 (I) and α2 (I) chains and is encoded by COL1A1 and COL1A2. To identify the pathogenic gene of a large Chinese family with OI type I and explain genetic heterogeneity of the patients, next‑generation sequencing (NGS) was conducted in a female with OI type I and her affected niece and daughter to search for the mutation. Subsequently, it was confirmed in other family members by Sanger sequencing. Analysis of COL1A1 gene identified a splicing mutation (c.471+1G>A, also termed IVS5+1G>A) that converted the 5' end of intron 5 from GT to AT. The current study aimed to investigate why there are different phenotypes with the same mutation observed within the same OI pedigree, and the results suggested that there may be environmental factors involved. The present study provided genetic counseling and prenatal diagnosis for the family members, however additionally provided insight into the phenotype‑genotype association in OI.

To determine the correlation of the CYP1A1 (rs4646422) gene polymorphisms with male infertility in the Chinese Han population.Using the Mass ARRAY iPLEX GOLD technique, we conducted a case-control study on theCYPlA1 (rs4646422) gene polymorphisms in 636 infertile males aged 21-49 years (case group) and 442 normal healthy men aged 23-47 years (control group) of the Chinese Han population. We analyzed the genotypes and allele frequencies in the two groups ofsubjects with the SPSS 20.0 software.Compared with the wild homozygous genotype GG, the heterozygous genotype AG (OR = 1.06, 95% CI 0.81-1.38) and homozygous genotype AA (OR = 1.11, 95% CI 0.56-2.21) showed no correlation with male infertility, nor did the mutant allele A (OR = 1.06, 95% CI 0.85-1.32) in comparison with the wild allele G.The CYP1A1 (rs4646422) gene polymorphisms might not be correlated with male infertility in the Chinese Han population.

To explore the clinical effects of posterior debridement, bone grafting via intervertebral space combined with internal fixation for the treatment of lumbosacral tuberculosis.The clinical data of 32 patients with lumbosacral tuberculosis underwent the procedure of one-stage posterior intervertebral debridement, bone grafting and internal fixation from January 2007 to July 2013 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 17 males and 15 females, aged from 27 to 63 years with an average of (49.8±9.2) years. The course of disease was from 5 to 18 months with the mean of (10.7±3.2) months. There was involved the vertebral body of L₅ in 1 case, the intervertebral space of L₅S₁ in 8 cases, and the vertebral body of L₅ or S₁ combined with intervertebral space of L₅S₁ in 23 cases. VAS, ESR, CRP, the lumbosacral angle, the height of intervertebral space of L₅S₁, and ASIA grade were used to evaluate clinical effects.All the patients were followed up from 18 to 39 months with an average of 21.6 months. Operative time was 120 to 260 min with the mean of 175 min, and intraoperative bleeding was 700 to 1 450 ml with the mean of 1 050 ml. VAS before operation was 8.4±1.6, then descended to 3.5±0.8(The procedure of posterior debridement, bone grafting via intervertebral space combined with internal fixation is an effective and safe method in treating lumbosacral tuberculosis, it can effectively debride tuberculose focus, maintain the spinal stability, and improve the dysfunction with less complication.

How to provide effective prevention and treatment of myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury and study of the mechanism underlying I/R injury are hotspots of current research. This study aimed to elucidate the effect and cardioprotective mechanism of vitamin C (VC) on myocardial I/R injury. Our study introduced two different I/R models: I/R in vitro and oxygen-glucose deprivation/recovery (OGD/R) in primary neonatal rat cardiac myocytes. We used the mitochondrial permeability transition pore (mPTP) opener lonidamine (LND) and the mitochondrial KATP (mitoKATP) channel inhibitor 5-hydroxydecanoate (5-HD) to analyze the underlying mechanisms. We found that post-treatment with VC decreased I/R injury in our models. Post-treatment with VC significantly decreased I/R-induced injury, attenuated apoptosis, and maintained the functional integrity of mitochondria via alleviation of Ca(2+) overload, reactive oxygen species burst, inhibition of the opening of mPTP, and prevention of mitochondrial membrane potential (ΔΨm) depolarization. VC post-treatment increased the phosphorylation of Akt and glycogen synthase kinase (GSK)-3β. The present results demonstrate that VC might protect the myocardium from I/R-induced injury by inhibiting the mPTP opening via activation of mitoKATP channels. VC mediates cardioprotection via activation of the phosphatidyl inositol 3-kinase (PI3K)-Akt signaling pathway. These findings may contribute toward the development of novel strategies for clinical cardioprotection against I/R injury.

Background Angelman syndrome (AS) is a neurodevelopmental disorder. AS patients concomitant with sSMC are rather rare events. It will provide more useful and proper information for genetic counseling to identify the sSMC origin. Case presentation A 27-year-old woman was referred for genetic counseling and prenatal diagnosis at 26 weeks of gestation due to her elder daughter, diagnosed as Angelman syndrome (AS) with an interstitial deletion in one of the chromosomes 15, carrying a small supernumerary marker chromosome (sSMC). The G-banding results of the woman and her current fetus both were 47,XX,+mar. In this paper, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) results showed that there was no deletion of chromosome 15 in the woman and fetus. We demonstrated that the proband’s sSMC was maternally inherited and was an inv dup(22)(q11.1) , and that the deletion in 15q11.2-q13.1 was de novo. Conclusions Taking into account above results and normal phenotypes of the proband’s mother, in this case we suggest that the sSMC don’t increase the recurrence risk of AS. After prenatal diagnosis, the woman chose to continue the pregnancy, and finally gave birth to a normal female infant.

Insulin resistance and insulin secretion deficiency are main machanisms in inducing type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), and mitochondria damage plays an important role in them. Research shows that autophagy is a self-protective mechanism of cells, which plays an important role in maintaining the normal structure and function of pancreatic β cells and improving insulin resistance. Previous studies show that traditional Chinese medicine can regulate cell autophagy to influence β cells and insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes mellitus and its complications. Thus this review will talk about the process of the relationship between autophagy and T2DM and the intervention effect of traditional Chinese medicine.

In this study, a novel adamantyl nitroxide derivative was synthesized and its antitumor activities in vitro and in vivo were investigated. The adamantyl nitroxide derivative 4 displayed a potent anticancer activity against all the tested human hepatoma cells, especially with IC50 of 68.1 μM in Bel-7404 cells, compared to the positive control 5-FU (IC50=607.7 μM). The significant inhibition of cell growth was also observed in xenograft mouse model, with low toxicity. Compound 4 suppressed the cell migration and invasion, induced the G2/M phase arrest. Further mechanistic studies revealed that compound 4 induced cell death, which was accompanied with damaging mitochondria, increasing the generation of intracellular reactive oxygen species, cleavages of caspase-9 and caspase-3, as well as activations of Bax and Bcl-2. These results confirmed that adamantyl nitroxide derivative exhibited selective antitumor activities via mitochondrial apoptosis pathway in Bel-7404 cells, and would be a potential anticancer agent for liver cancer.

Increasing evidence suggests that low to moderate ethanol ingestion protects against the deleterious effects of subsequent ischemia/reperfusion; however, the underlying mechanism has not been elucidated. In the present study, we showed that expression of the neuronal large-conductance, Ca2+-activated K+ channel (BKCa) α-subunit was upregulated in cultured neurons exposed to oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R) compared with controls. Preconditioning with low-dose ethanol (10 mmol/L) increased cell survival rate in neurons subjected to OGD/R, attenuated the OGD/R-induced elevation of cytosolic Ca2+ levels, and reduced the number of apoptotic neurons. Western blots revealed that ethanol preconditioning upregulated expression of the anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 and downregulated the pro-apoptotic protein Bax. The protective effect of ethanol preconditioning was antagonized by a BKCa channel inhibitor, paxilline. Inside-out patches in primary neurons also demonstrated the direct activation of the BKCa channel by 10 mmol/L ethanol. The above results indicated that low-dose ethanol preconditioning exerts its neuroprotective effects by attenuating the elevation of cytosolic Ca2+ and preventing neuronal apoptosis, and this is mediated by BKCa channel activation.

·Copper conductive inks for screen printing are being given great attention due to their widely application in printed electronics industry. In this study, copper conductive ink used for screen printing, which were grinded by three-roll mill machine, was prepared using the epoxy, polyurethane and acrylic resins as adhesive, the flake copper particles which had a diameter between 20 to 50 μm as conductive material and butly alcohol was chosen as solvent. The viscosity and the thixotropy of the conductive ink were measured by rheometer. The oxidation of the surface layer of copper were removed by submerged in a certain concentration of acid solution and the resistance of the sample was measured after heated at different various temperatures. The results showed that the rheology were better for screen printing by adding the acrylic resin and the minimum conductivity can be reached 1.93×10-3 Ω·cm.

In this paper, the analysis is carried out under EL-centro wave with SAP2000, and the appraisal results on their anti-failure performances are presented based on the plastic-hinge theory. In the analyses, the geometric and material nonlinear effects are considered simultaneously. The plastic development level of the rods, the deformed shape and the failure type and the ductility are estimated. The results show that the failure model of the structure under the earthquake wave action is the complicated combination of strength failure and elasto-plastic dynamic local buckling in deferent areas of the structure; Its critical failure peak acceleration of EL earthquake wave when applied in X directions is 747gal, which is 1.87 times more than the official seismic fortification level of 8 degree (major earthquake, 0.4g) and can be served as earthquake victim shelter in the area of 8 degree seismic fortification; Its displacement ductility coefficient is12.14,which shows the structure owns good energy dissipation capacity.

Printed electronic industry develops fast and has great potential. In order to prepare water-based nano-silver gravure conductive ink used for printed electronics, liquid chemical reduction method is used. Ag+(5.89M) at high concentration acting as the precursor is reduced by hydrazine hydrate with PVP as the protecting agent. For one time of reaction, silver content of 9.25% is obtained. After washing and centrifuging the silver colloids for three times to purity, some amount of deionized water, resin and additives are added to the silver paste to fabricated water-based nano-silver conductive ink for gravure. Then, samples obtained by coating or proofing are dried and surface resistance and adhesion are measured. The results indicated that the silver particles prepared have size of about 50~100nm and most of the particles are spherical with small amount nanoplates. The nano-silver gravure conductive ink has 52.63% silver content and 3.58% PVP. Surface resistance of samples coated after sintering at 120°C for 30s can reach 129.5mΩ/sq and the resistivity is 1.49×10-4Ω.cm. The ink layer surface has no drop after 3M method which indicating good adhesion. The ink is suitable for gravure and can be used in printed electronics.

In this paper，the preparation of a solvent based nano-silver inkjet conductive ink with excellent adhesion was investigated and applied. Nano-silver particles, with dodecylamine (DDA) as the protective agent, were prepared and the effect of protective agent on the post heat-treatment of nano- silver films was investigated. Results of electrical resistance, micro-structural evolution and thermal analysis showed that the Ag/DDA films require a relatively low treatment temperature to convert into conductive materials. Then the conductive ink was prepared with well dispersed Ag/DDA nanoparticles and the ink was printed patterns on PET、PI films through EPSON ME 33 inkjet printer , the patterns showed a sheet resistance is 182.3mΩ/□ and the adhesion reached to 5B after heat-treating at 120°C for 60min .

Er3+, Na+-co-doped CaF2 transparent ceramics with Er3+ dopant concentration of 5at% and Na+ of 0, 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5at% were fabricated by the vacuum hot pressing method. Absorption spectra, emission spectra and fluorescence lifetimes were measured at room temperature to study the effects of Na+ on the spectral properties of Er3+: CaF2 transparent ceramic. The results showed that after introducing Na ion into Er3+: CaF2 transparent ceramics, charge-neutralized Er3+-Na+ structure formed which prevented Er3+ from clustering, the absorption intensity of ceramics decreased with the increase of Na+ concentration, but the spectroscopy and photoluminescence properties of Er3+ in CaF2 transparent ceramic could be modulated by adjusting the concentration of Na+. Co-doping Na+ to increase fluorescence lifetime should have an optimal value.

Copper nanoparticles (Cu NPs) have attracted tremendous interest in recent years in the field of printable electronics due to their low cost and high conductive properties. In this study, copper nanoparticles were synthesized via a polyol method by reducing cupric nitrate trihydrate with hydrazine hydrate in the presence of PVP as protective agent. Collide of Cu NPs was obtained after three times of sedimentation by acetone. Suspension for conductive ink was then prepared by adding some amount of solutions and additives followed by parameters adjusting. Sheet resistance of the Cu NPs films coated on a glass substrate could be reduced to 750 mΩ/□ after heating at 300°C for 1h in vacuum.

The general information and features of supercritical unit are illustrated. According to the engineering application situation, by comparing two feedforward methods, the new method application effect than classic control method, the response of unit’s load is much faster than before. It’s benefit to Automatic Generation Control (AGC). It’s hoped that the analysis and optimization can provide useful experience and lessons for the design of the supercritical boiler control to some extent.

This design aims to realize the LCD display and the thermostatic control of the temperature. The design uses the ATmega8 micro-controller as the core part of the temperature monitoring system and the PID control algorithm to produce a PWM wave to drive the photoelectric coupler MOC3061, which can control the SCR on and off and then change the value of average voltage. Through the RS232 bus, it can build an intelligent distributed network of monitoring system. The simulate module by the MATLAB software has been built up to get the parameter tuning of PID and then get the best heating method to control the temperature quickly and accurately. With the compact and flexible structure and the good and reliable function, the design is suitable to the industrial control, environmental monitoring, etc.

The article prepares the jet ink with nano-silver synthesized by the lab and then adjusts the parameters of the silver colloid to fabricate nano-silver conductive ink suitable for ink-jet. Then patterns are obtained on the photo paper through EPSON ME 70 jet printing, and treated by three post-processing methods include laser sintering, heating, and solution soaking, which measured by four- point probe measurement and observed by SEM. It shows that after treatment the surface resistance of the patterns all decrease obviously. Patterns heated at 120°C for 10min, the resistance is 815mΩ/□, while the surface changes of silver layers can be observed obviously from SEM images. But the surface of the photo paper is destroyed with some bubbles on the coating surface. After 10min of laser sintering, the resistance of the silver layer reaches 890mΩ/□ from infinity. And when immersed in the NaCl solution for 5min, the patterns’ surface resistance decrease to 2.7Ω/□.

This paper discusses the effect of adding pump-around circuits and reducing stripping steam flow rate on the improving energy efficiency and increasing processing capacity of the atmospheric column in a refinery plant by using commercial simulator. It is shown that both the capacity and energy efficiency of the atmospheric column can be increased by adding pump-around circuits and reducing stripping steam flow rate. The modifications discussed in this paper will affect the separation of the atmospheric column in some way. However, the product qualities can still meet the specifications, if the changes of the parameters are not significant. Therefore, the above issues should be considered in the modifications overall.

Using the second development tooling of NX/KF, joining the KBE system and back-propagation neural network (BPNN) algorithm, it can access the volume, weight, feature number and input the related parameters (contacting relationship number and total penalty value), predict the feasible assembly sequence, reduce assembly working time and production cost.

The general information and features of supercritical unit are illustrated. By controlling the input air according to fuel, combustion efficiency can be ensured. By coordinating the input oxygen in proportion to the load, heat efficiencies and emissions can be accomplished. The detailed design of the control schemes is described. The effectiveness of the proposed schemes is illustrated through industrial application. It’s hoped that the analysis and optimization can provide useful experience and lessons for the design of the supercritical coal-fired unit’s controls.

Principles and characteristics of internal model control (IMC) are illustrated. It has a simple and general structure such as that of a PID controller. Applications of IMC based on single loop PID controller tuning in main steam temperature of boiler in power plant were investigated. It can also become easier to achieve in a distributed control system (DCS) via control module configuration. It was applied in boiler of power plant to tune the main steam temperature PID parameters. The application results demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.

Selenoproteins are present in all major forms of life, including eukaryotes, bacteria and archaea. In eukaryotic animals, selenoproteins often function as antioxidants, but rare or absent in other phyla, such as plants and fungi (except for the green alga Chlamydomonas). Selenoprotein M (SelM) is a selenocysteine containing protein with redox activity, which is involved in the antioxidant response. However, information remains limited about SelM physiology and function in marine invertebrates, particularly in crustaceans. Hence, we investigated the reproductive functionality of SelM in the Chinese mitten crab (Eriocheir sinensis), which is a commercially important yet disease vulnerable aquaculture species. The full-length SelM cDNA (928bp) strand was cloned by using PCR, based on an initial expressed sequence tag (EST) that was isolated from a hepatopancreatic cDNA library. The SelM cDNA contained a 390bp open reading frame (ORF) that encoded a putative 129 amino acid (aa) protein. SelM mRNA expression in E. sinensis was (a) tissue-specific, with the highest expression observed in the hepatopancreas, testis, ovaries and intestines. Based on this information, we then detected the different stages of tissue expression for SelM in the testis, ovary, and male crab hepatopancreas and hemolymph, and the enzyme activity of SelM in the testis. Overall, SelM was isolated successfully from the Chinese mitten crab, and its involvement in the regulation of reproduction during the period of rapid development in E. sinensis was confirmed.

Tropical cyclone (TC) Nargis (2008) made landfall in Myanmar on 02 May 2008, bringing a storm surge, major flooding, and resulting in a significant death toll. TC Nargis (2008) displayed abnormal features, including rare eastward motion in its late stage, rapid intensification before landing. Using reanalysis data and a numerical model, we investigated how a low-latitude westerly wind modulated TC Nargis’ (2008) track and provided favorable atmospheric conditions for its rapid intensification. More importantly, we found a possible counterbalance effect of flows from the two hemispheres on the TC track in the Bay of Bengal. Our analysis indicates that a strong westerly wind burst across the Bay of Bengal, resulting in TC Nargis’ (2008) eastward movement after its recurvature. This sudden enhancement of westerly wind was mainly due to the rapidly intensified mid-level cross-equatorial flow. Our results show that a high-pressure system in the Southern Hemisphere induced this strong, mid-level, cross-equatorial flow. During the rapid intensification period of TC Nargis (2008), this strong and broad westerly wind also transported a large amount of water vapor to TC Nargis (2008). Sufficient water vapor gave rise to continuously high and increased mid-level relative humidity, which was favorable to TC Nargis’ (2008) intensification. Condensation of water vapor increased the energy supply, which eventuated the intensification of TC Nargis (2008) to a category 4 on the Saffir-Simpson scale.

Conductive ink, especially the nano-silver ink is becoming more and more popular in printable electronic field. In order to synthesize high concentration, stable nano-silver colloid, liquid chemical reduction is used and different ratios of PVP to silver nitrate are studied. After precise adjustments of the parameters, colloid with silver content of wt7.8% is obtained. Particle size distribution, UV-Vis spectra, thermo gravimetric analysis and SEM images are conducted to characterize the silver particles. The results show that when molar ratio of PVP to silver nitrate is 0.6, the average particle size is 170nm and some deposit can be seen, while the ratio increases to 1.5, the size decreases to 68nm, and the residue quality of the silver colloid showed in the TG analysis is 7.88%. After aging for 1 month, the colloid is still stable and the color keeps to the original dark green. When the ratio continues increasing to 2.5, particle size becomes 112nm and some larger particles beyond 3μm can be observed.

Effects of pretreatment of natural bacterial source and raw material on biohydrogen production in fermentative biohydrogen production process were investigated systematically. Biohydrogen production from stale corn slurry was found to be feasible and effective by A1 (water soak) pretreated compost and B1 (gelatinization) pretreated stale corn. The results were further confirmed by the verification test with working volume of 8 L, in which the maximum hydrogen yield of 262 mL H 2 /g-substrate, hydrogen production rate of 39 mL/g h −1 and the corresponding hydrogen content of 50% was observed at fixed substrate concentration of 10 g/L, working pH 5.0–5.5 and 36 ± 1 °C. The effluent was mostly composed of acetate and butyrate. Subsequently, two new hydrogen producing strains were isolated from the effluent sludge in the running bioreactor, and they were preliminarily identified as Clostridium and Enterobacter , respectively, according to the routine screening examinations.

The new method dramatically reduces the work of calculation,and speeds up the image processing. The result of comparing it with the old method based on RGB color space was showed in the paper.The second step of the vision sub system is identification the color block that separated by the first step.A improved seed fill algorithm is used in the paper.The implementation on MiroSot Soccer Robot System shows that the new method is fast and accurate.

Flake silver powder has attracted tremendous interesting due to its specially electrical and optical properties. Chemical reduction method with the advantages of reaction conditions easily controlled and mass production is widely used to prepare flake silver particles. In order to more easily prepare flake silver particles, the generation mechanism of flake silver particles is studied by analyzing the impacts of reaction conditions, such as pH value, kinds of silver seeds, kind of surfactant and concentration of raw material. The results show that flake silver particles can be prepared through controlling reaction conditions. Some problems existing in the preparation of flake silver particles are put forward, and future research directions are also proposed.

The performances of three kinds of water-based pigment inks were compared and studied, which include self-made ink, original printing ink and compatible ink. Art paper, matte paper and white card paper were used as the substrates. Testing the contact angle of ink droplets, the spreading, wetting, and drying rate of inks were investigated. The color density and CIE L*a*b* values of the printed samples were measured, to evaluate the hue error and color gamut. The water resistance was studied with corresponding experiments. The result indicates: self-made water-based pigment ink has the smallest contact angle on coated paper, showing a faster drying rate. Its color gamut is similar to the original printing ink on art paper, and the hue error is low. Through the water resistance test, the color density measured on art paper and matte paper had no changes, without color dissolving and color fading, showing good water resistance applicability.

For the special requirements of grid-connected inverter used in wind power generation system, a kind of three-phase Z-Source inverter operational principle is analyzed in this paper. Formulas for the design of main parameters under the control of constant duty cycle of shoot-through switching state are derived. Then the simulation models of SVPWM with shoot-through zero vectors are established by using Matlab/Simulink in order to control the switches of Z-Source inverter on and off. The independent control strategy of d-axis and q-axis currents is used to achieve a unity power factor grid-connected aim. Simulation results show that the theoretical analysis and the simulation models are validity.

The RFID antenna is mainly fabricated by metal coil winding, copper or aluminum etching, plating, printing and so on. In this paper, the comparison of above methods is conducted and the progress of the printing method and water-based conductive ink are emphasized. Water-based conductive inks are environmental-friendly, economic, high applicability, and are widely used in screen printing, gravure, flexible printing, inkjet printing, etc. Although starts late and the technology is not very mature, the RFID antenna prepared by printing method has many advantages, such as low cost, high precision, easy operation, variety of substrates, etc. Thus the printing has great potential applications on the fabrication of RFID antenna. Furthermore, water-based conductive inks used in ink-jet printing RFID antenna will be the first choice of printed RFID antenna.

A cryogen-free refrigerating preconcentration/thermal desorption system, which uses a refrigeration compressor as a cold source, has been developed, optimized, and characterized. Carbon molecular sieve TDX-01 and graphitized carbon black were used as the adsorbents for enrichment of the C2–C4 fraction of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at −10 °C. The trapped analytes were thermally desorbed and were transferred directly into the gas chromatography for analysis without the need for a second cryotrap or secondary condensation. The detection limits, at a sampling volume of 500 mL, ranged from 14 to 52 parts per trillion depending on the analytes. Compared with the traditional thermal desorption systems that use liquid nitrogen or thermoelectric coolers as cold sources, this system is more applicable for the rapid analysis of trace VOCs in air, with merits of low cost and low power consumption.

Digital image has a large quantity of image data and long time for transmitting. It affects the real-time of the teleoperation robot system. According to the basic principle of human eye identifying objects and image blurry processing, a new image processing method of simulating human eye range of interest (ROI) is proposed. The method uses the calibration algorithm of three-dimensional stereo target and the Gauss blurred principle. The non-ROI region is blurred to hierarchy for extracting the feature and measurement to finish the image processing tasks. The experimental results showed that the quality of the images was assured and the transmission time was shorted. The real-time of the teleoperation robot system was also guaranteed.

The performance of the dispersion of cobalt blue in organic solvent is studied. The influence of dispersant (type & dosage), pH value, and other dispersion parameters on the stability of cobalt blue dispersion system is tested which shows good stability and excellent dispersion performance with diethylamide glycol ether the solvent, complex formulation (M (KH550): M (KH560): M (A-842) = 1:1:2) the dispersant and 7 the pH value. The characteristics of dispersion system are evaluated through sedimentation experiment and measurement of article size distribution. The most steady dispersion system is formed through high speed shearing force and the size of cobalt blue in this system is about 300nm.
