This article is the fruit of a written dialogue between a sociocultural psychologist and a philosopher invested in the study of the Creative Real, in a context that resonates with process philosophy and posthumanism. Each of the two authors come from a different tradition (or, rather, different traditions) to the topic of posthuman creativity and their approaches overlap considerably but include as well important points of difference, ranging from writing style to key concepts and areas of application.

SARS-CoV-2 is causing devastation both in human lives and economic resources. When the world seems to start overcoming the pandemics scourge, the threat of long-term complications of COVID-19 is rising. Reports show that some of these long-term effects may contribute to the main cause of morbimortality worldwide: the vascular diseases. Given the evidence of damage in the endothelial cells due to SARS-CoV-2 and that endothelial dysfunction precedes the development of arteriosclerosis, the authors propose to measure endothelial function around 6–12 months after acute disease in hypertensive patients, especially if they have other cardiovascular risk factors or overt vascular disease. The methods the authors propose are cost-effective and can be made available to any hypertension unit. These methods could be the “in vivo” assessment of endothelial function by flow mediated vasodilatation after ischemia by Laser-Doppler flowmetry and the measurement of plasma free circulating DNA and microparticles of endothelial origin.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a strong impact on education, forcing the implementation of distance learning methodologies using information and communication technologies (ICT). The digital textbook is a didactic resource used to guide the training process of students; besides, its interactivity allows systematic work, favoring metacognition and the construction of self-learning. The aim of this paper is to describe, through a descriptive cross-sectional design, the design, review, digitalization and implementation phases of a digital textbook about physical agents as a learning resource to support distance education in the training process of physical therapy students enrolled in the physical agents course offered by Universidad Andres Bello in Santiago, Chile, in the context of the human mobility restriction measures implemented due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The textbook consists of thirteen thematic sections and once it was reviewed and validated by peers and by the editorial committee of the university it was digitalized and indexed into the digital resource database of the university, where it was made available to the entire cohort of students enrolled in the physical agents course during the first semester of 2020 (n=115).The digital textbook was successfully implemented as a didactic resource to guide the autonomous and distance learning of students during the time human mobility restriction measures were established in Chile due to the pandemic. Future studies should focus on reporting the students’ satisfaction and perception of this tool and its effect on learning outcomes in order to obtain effective feedback., La pandemia por COVID-19 ha tenido un fuerte impacto en la educación, por lo que ha sido necesario implementar metodologías de aprendizaje a distancia basadas en tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones (TIC). El libro de texto digital es un recurso didáctico utilizado para guiar el proceso de formación de los estudiantes; además, su interactividad permite el trabajo sistemático, lo que favorece la metacognición y construcción del aprendizaje autónomo. El objetivo de este estudio es describir, mediante un diseño transversal descriptivo, las fases de diseño, revisión, digitalización e implementación de un libro de texto digital sobre agentes físicos como recurso de aprendizaje para apoyar la educación a distancia en el proceso de formación de en estudiantes de Fisioterapia inscritos en el curso de agentes físicos ofrecido por la Universidad Andres Bello en Santiago, Chile, en el contexto de las medidas de restricción de movilidad humana implementadas por la pandemia por COVID-19. El libro de texto consiste de 13 secciones temáticas y una vez revisado y validado por pares y por el comité editorial de la universidad, fue digitalizado e indexado en la base de datos de recursos digitales de la universidad, donde se puso a disposición de toda la cohorte de estudiantes matriculados en el curso durante el primer semestre de 2020 (n=115). El libro de texto digital se implementó satisfactoriamente como recurso didáctico para guiar el aprendizaje autónomo y no presencial de los estudiantes en el periodo que se instauraron las medidas de restricción de la movilidad humana en Chile debido a la pandemia. Estudios futuros deben centrarse en reportar la satisfacción y percepción de los estudiantes con esta herramienta y su efecto en los resultados del aprendizaje para obtener una retroalimentación efectiva.

Introduction: Objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) is a validated instrument that allows measuring clinical skills in health sciences students; thus, it is important to know the students’ level of satisfaction with this strategy, as well as the correlation between performance and self-evaluation. Objective: To assess the level of satisfaction and the correlation between the performance and self-evaluation of Chilean physiotherapy students in an OSCE developed to assess their clinical skills when using physical agents. Materials and methods: Cross-sectional study conducted in 114 physical therapy students who participated in an OSCE consisting of seven stations. Performance checklists were used at each station (passing score: 70% of the maximum score per station) and students were administered 2 perception surveys for self-evaluation purposes and for determining their level of satisfaction. The Spearman Rho test was performed to determine the correlation between station scores and the students’ self-evaluation (significance level p <0.05). Results: Median scores higher than the passing score were observed in 5 stations (S1=66, IQR: 52-70; S2=55, IQR: 45-60; S3=60, IQR: 50-69; S4=65, IQR: 55-73; S7=40, IQR: 33-45), except for the strengthening and parameter interpretation stations (S5=54, IQR:46-65; S6=10, IQR: 9-13). A positive significant correlation was found between the OSCE scores and the students’ self-evaluation in five stations (S3: p =0.042; S4: p <0.0001; S5: p =0.000; S6: p =0.000; S7: p <0.0001). The students’ level of satisfaction with the OSCE was high, with 89.18% of them stating they agreed with how it was organized. Conclusion: The OSCE allowed the evaluation of the participants’ clinical skills when using physical agents. Also, their performance in the OSCE was consistent with their self-evaluation, which proves the usefulness of the instrument. Evaluar el nivel de satisfacción y la correlación entre el desempeño y la autoevaluación de estudiantes chilenos de fisioterapia en una ECOE diseñada para evaluar sus habilidades clínicas a la hora de usar agentes físicos. Microbial interactions in agricultural soils can play important roles in the control of soil-borne phytopathogenic diseases. Yields from blueberry plantations from southern Spain have been impacted by the pathogenic fungus, Macrophomina phaseolina. The use of chemical fungicides has been the common method for preventing fungal infections, but due to their high environmental impact, legislation is increasingly restricting its use. Biocontrol alternatives based on the use of microorganisms is becoming increasingly important. Using the metabarcoding technique, fungi and bacteria were characterized (via 16S and ITS regions, respectively) from rhizosphere soils of healthy and dead blueberry plants infected by M. phaseolina, and which had undergone three different treatments: two biocontrol strategies—one of them a mix of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Bacillus velezensis and the other one with Bacillus amyloliquefaciens—and a third treatment consisting of the application of a nutrient solution. The treatments produced changes in the bacterial microbiota and, to a lesser extent, in the fungi. The abundance of Fusarium was correlated with dead plants, likely favoring the infection by M. phaseolina. The presence of other microorganisms in the soil, such as the fungi Archaeorhizomyces or the bacteria Actinospica, were correlated with healthy plants and could promote their survival. The different genera detected between dead and healthy plants opens the possibility of studying new targets that can act against infection and identify potential microorganisms that can be used in biocontrol strategies.

The evolution of asymptotic giant branch stars from the spherical symmetry into the diverse shapes of planetary nebulae (PNe) is a topic of intensive research. Young PNe provide a unique opportunity to characterize the onset of this transitional phase. In particular, OH maser-emitting PNe (OHPNe) are considered nascent PNe. In fact, only 6 OHPNe have been confirmed to date. In order to identify and characterize more OHPNe, we processed the unpublished continuum data of the interferometric follow-up of the Southern Parkes Large-Area Survey in Hydroxyl (SPLASH). We then matched the interferometric positions of OH maser and radio continuum emission, considering the latter as a possible tracer of free-free emission from photoionized gas, characteristic of PNe. We report 8 objects with a positive coincidence, 4 of which are classified as candidate OHPNe here for the first time (IRAS 16372-4808, IRAS 17494-2645, IRAS 18019-2216 and OH 341.6811+00.2634). Available evidence strongly indicates that they are evolved stars, while the comparison with confirmed OHPNe indicates that they are likely to be PNe. Their final confirmation as bona fide PNe, however, requires optical/infrared spectroscopy. The obtained spectral indices of the radio continuum emission (between $\simeq$ 0.4 - 1.3) are consistent with partially optically thick free-free emission from photoionized gas. Also, they cluster in the same region of a WISE colour-colour diagram as that of the confirmed OHPNe ($9.5 \lesssim [3.4]-[22] \lesssim 13.5$, and $4.0 \lesssim [4.6]-[12] \lesssim 7.0$), thus this diagram could help to identify more OHPNe candidates in the future., Comment: 17 pages, 7 figures, 5 tables. Observations in the millimetre bands of maser-emitting planetary nebulae (PNe) are crucial to study their circumstellar molecular gas at the beginning of the PN phase. Maser-emitting PNe are in the earliest phases of PN formation; therefore, these sources are key objects to study the molecular content during the early evolution of PNe. These circumstellar envelopes are active sites for the formation of molecules. We present preliminary results of millimetre observations with the IRAM 30 m telescope towards one PN (IRAS 17393−2727) of a sample of five maser-emitting PNe, where we detect 12CO and 13CO lines in both J=1→0 and J=2→1 transitions.

Recently, the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO) reported the discovery of 12 ultrahigh-energy (UHE; $\mathrm{\varepsilon} \ge 100$ TeV) gamma-ray sources located in the Galactic plane. A few of these UHE gamma-ray emitting regions are in spatial coincidence with pulsar wind nebulae (PWNe). We consider a sample of five sources; two of them are LHAASO sources (LHAASO J1908+0621 and LHAASO J2226+6057) and the remaining three are GeV-TeV gamma-ray emitters. In addition, X-rays, radio observations, or upper limits are also available for these objects. We study multiwavelength radiation from these sources by considering a PWN origin, where the emission is powered by the spin-down luminosity of the associated pulsars. In this leptonic emission model, the electron population is calculated at different times under the radiative (synchrotron and inverse-Compton) and adiabatic cooling. We also include the onset of the reverberation phase for the PWN, by assuming radially symmetric expansion. However, in this work, we find that multiwavelength emission can be interpreted before the onset of this phase. The maximum energy of the electrons based on the spectral fit is found to be above 0.1 PeV and close to 1 PeV. For LHAASO J2226+6057, using its observations in radio to UHE gamma-rays, we find that UHE gamma-rays can be interpreted using electrons with maximum energy of 1 PeV. In a multivariate stepwise binary logistic regres-sionanalysis(WaldMethod)circulatingendothelialmicroparticlesremainsignificantlyassociatedwithpancreasfatcontentafteradjustingforconfoundingfactors,suchastobacco,diabetesmellitus,hypercholesterolemia,ormetabolicsyndrome.Ourresultsreflectthatinessentialhypertension,pancreasfatcontentissuperiortoliverfattostudybeta-cellfunctionalityandinsulinresistance.Moreover,theauthorsdescribedforthefirsttimethatpancreasfatcontentisrelatedtoendothelialcelldestruction.Furtherstudiesareneededtoconfirmthispoint.
