This paper establishes a rolling shared parking allocation model to optimize the matching of supply and demand in parking-dense districts by maximizing platform revenue and minimizing parking users' travel costs. An adjustment mechanism that dynamically adjusts the allocated parking slots is developed to be embedded in the model. Considering multi-candidate adjacent parking lots, combined sharing and individual sharing patterns are compared to verify the benefits of resource combination. Numerical experiments indicate that the proposed model works well for changing parking demands and achieves more successful matches than the first-book-first-serve model. The combination of adjacent parking resources improves the platform revenue, the parking slot utilization, and the acceptance rate of parking requests, as well as reduces the average walking distance. The direct parking revenue of the parking lot with fewer slots is remarkably increased under combined sharing. The findings provide managerial insights for local collaborative shared parking. Ascending aortic aneurysm is a pathology that is important to be supervised and treated. During the years the aorta dilates, it becomes stiff, and its elastic properties decrease. In some cases, the aortic wall can rupture leading to aortic dissection with a high mortality rate. The main reference standard to measure when the patient needs to undertake surgery is the aortic diameter. However, the aortic diameter was shown not to be sufficient to predict aortic dissection, implying other characteristics should be considered. Therefore, the main objective of this work is to assess in-vivo the elastic properties of four different quadrants of the ascending aorta and compare the results with equivalent properties obtained ex-vivo. The database consists of 73 cine-MRI sequences of thoracic aorta acquired in axial orientation at the level of the pulmonary trunk. All the patients have dilated aorta and surgery is required. The exams were acquired just prior to surgery, each consisting of 30 slices on average across the cardiac cycle. Multiple deep learning architectures have been explored with different hyperparameters and settings to automatically segment the contour of the aorta on each image and then automatically calculate the aortic compliance. A semantic segmentation U-Net network outperforms the rest explored networks with a Dice score of 98.09% (±0.96%) and a Hausdorff distance of 4.88 mm (±1.70 mm). Local aortic compliance and local aortic wall strain were calculated from the segmented surfaces for each quadrant and then compared with elastic properties obtained ex-vivo. Good agreement was observed between Young's modulus and in-vivo strain. Our results suggest that the lateral and posterior quadrants are the stiffest. In contrast, the medial and anterior quadrants have the lowest aortic stiffness. The in-vivo stiffness tendency agrees with the values obtained ex-vivo. We can conclude that our automatic segmentation method is robust and compatible with clinical practice (thanks to a graphical user interface), while the in-vivo elastic properties are reliable and compatible with the ex-vivo ones. Association of quadricuspid aortic valve (QAV) with ascending aortic aneurysms (AsAA) is rare. A 63-year-old female with hypertension was found (on MRI) to have an ascending aortic aneurysm (52 mm in maximum diameter) and dilatation at the level of the sinotubular junction (38 mm in diameter) associated with quadricuspid aortic valve. An ascending aortic wall replacement surgery was performed. In this study, we focus on the behavior of the aorta associated with QAV considering the in vitro biomechanical characteristics and histology. Simple Summary: Sex formation of gonads encompasses two ancient and highly conserved biological processes, sex determination and sex differentiation. The processes are strictly regulated by a complex of gene networks. There is increasing evidence that miRNAs play key roles in many biological processes. however, information is limited in their contribution to sex differentiation in animals. In the present study, we identified the novel miRNAs involved in sex-related genes regulation and explored the miRNA–mRNA networks underlying the posttranscriptional regulation during the initial sex differentiation in Zhikong scallop, Chlamys farreri. Our findings provide an important basis for studying the sex differentiation mechanisms, as well as developing sex control techniques in bivalves. Research on expressional regulation of genes at the initial sex differentiation of gonads will help to elucidate the mechanisms of sex determination and differentiation in animals. However, information on initial sex differentiation of gonads is limited in bivalves. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of endogenous small noncoding RNAs that can regulate the target gene expression at the posttranscription level by degrading the mRNA or repressing the mRNA translation. In the present study, we investigated the small RNAs transcriptome using the testes and ovaries of Zhikong scallop Chlamys farreri juveniles with a shell height of 5.0 mm, a critical stage of initial sex differentiation of gonads. A total of 75 known mature miRNAs and 103 novel miRNAs were identified. By comparing the expression of miRNAs between the ovary and testis, 11 miRNAs were determined to be differentially expressed. GO annotations and KEGG analyses indicated that many putative target genes that matched to these differentially expressed miRNAs participated in the regulation of sex differentiation. Furthermore, two selected miRNAs, cfa-novel_miR65 and cfa-miR-87a-3p_1, were confirmed to downregulate expressions of Foxl2 (a female-critical gene) and Klf4 (a male-critical gene), respectively, using a dual-luciferase reporter analysis. A miniature tip-packaged dual-FPIs sensor featuring an extremely simple fabrication process is introduced and experimentally demonstrated for simultaneously measuring high-temperature and strain. Under the specific splicing parameters, a piece of suspended-core fiber with micron-scale dimensions and the single-mode fiber are spliced, forming the effective part of the sensor, which includes an air cavity and a silica cavity. Due to the disparate temperature responses (silica cavity: 7.31 pm/°C at 25–300 °C, 16.08 pm/°C at 300–800 °C; air cavity: 0 pm/°C) and strain responses (silica cavity:1.23 pm/µε; air cavity: 3.97 pm/µε) of these two cavities, simultaneous measurement of both parameters could be realized through coefficient matrix demodulation. Repeatability and high-temperature stability of this sensor within 5.5 ℃ have been verified, while the maximum hysteresis error of 0.205 nm has been analyzed. Introduction: Aneurysms of the ascending aorta (AA) correspond to a dilatation of the ascending aorta that progressively evolves over several years. The main complication of aneurysms of the ascending aorta is type A aortic dissection, which is associated with very high rates of morbidity and mortality. Prophylactic ascending aorta replacement guidelines are currently based on maximal AA diameter. However, this criterion is imperfect. Stretching tests on the aorta carried out ex-vivo make it possible to determine the elastic properties of healthy and aneurysmal aortic fragments (tension test, resistance before rupture). For several years now, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has provided another means of evaluating the elastic properties of the aorta. This imaging technique has the advantage of being non-invasive and of establishing aortic compliance (local measurement of stiffness) without using contrast material by measuring the variation of the aortic surface area during the cardiac cycle, and pulse wave velocity (overall stiffness of the aorta). Materials and methods: Prospective single-center study including 100 patients with ascending aortic aneurysm requiring surgery. We will perform preoperative cine-MRI and biomechanical laboratory stretching tests on aortic samples collected during the cardiac procedure. Images will be acquired with a 3T MRI with only four other acquisitions in addition to the conventional protocol. These additional sequences are a Fast Low Angle Shot (FLASH)-type sequence performed during a short breath-hold in the transverse plane at the level of the bifurcation of the pulmonary artery, and phase-contrast sequences that encodes velocity at the same localization, and also in planes perpendicular to the aorta at the levels of the sino-tubular junction and the diaphragm for the descending aorta. For ex-vivo tests, the experiments will be carried out by a biaxial tensile test machine (ElectroForce®). Each specimen will be stretched with 10 times of 10% preconditioning and at a rate of 10 mm/min until rupture. During the experiment, the tissue is treated under a 37°C saline bath. The maximum elastic modulus from each sample will be calculated. Results: The aim of this study is to obtain local patient-specific elastic modulus distribution of the ascending aorta from biaxial tensile tests and to assess elastic properties of the aorta using MRI, then to evaluate the correlation between biaxial tests and MRI measurements. Discussion: Our research hypothesis is that there is a correlation between the evaluation of the elastic properties of the aorta from cardiac MRI and from stretching tests performed ex-vivo on aorta samples collected during ascending aorta replacement. Tannin-immobilized cellulose was prepared by the phenolic reaction of the phenol ring of tannin with the aldehyde group of aldocellulose, where aldocellulose was prepared by the oxidization of cellulose with sodium periodate as oxidizing agent. The method of immobilized tannin is environmentally friendly due to the lack of crosslinking agent. The adsorption properties of cellulose were improved due to the introduction of tannin. The maximum adsorption capacity of the tannin-immobilized cellulose for berberine hydrochloride was 143.66 mg/g. The isothermal adsorption for berberine hydrochloride conformed to the Langmuir model well. The adsorption of tannin-immobilized cellulose for berberine hydrochloride was a weak chemical adsorption, and the adsorption process was exothermic. The adsorption equilibrium was reached within 90 min in the initial concentration 100 mg/L, and the sorption kinetics fitted well to a pseudo-first-order model. A highly-sensitive miniature sensor based on cascaded FPIs and the harmonic Vernier effect is proposed for high-temperature measurement. The package-free sensor is fabricated by only cleaving and splicing single-mode fiber (SMF), suspended core fiber (SCF), and hollow core fiber (HCF). By carefully adjusting the lengths of SCF and HCF, the Vernier effect and harmonic Vernier effect are generated on two sensors built by the same method, respectively. The reflected spectra exhibit distinct characteristics depending on the direction of incident light. Leveraging on the harmonic Vernier effect, the sensor of this type could achieve the highest sensitivity of 109.72 pm/℃ and maintain a maximum temperature fluctuation of only 4.12 ℃ under 800 ℃ without any temperature-sensitive material. Cas12a ribonucleoprotein (RNP) is an RNA-guided CRISPR-associated nuclease used widely for genome editing and molecular diagnostics. Conventional detection methods rely on adopting antibody-based reagents that are expensive and lack scalability, and, moreover, only detect Cas12 enzyme rather than RNP, which is the true effector. Here, we describe a method for the rapid and quantitative detection of the effective Cas12a RNPs by the combined use of anti-CRISPR protein AcrVA1 and stem-loop RT-qPCR, achieving a limit of detection (LOD) of 1 fM in reaction buffer and 0.1 pM under biologically representative conditions. Vehicular edge computing (VEC) is considered as a novel paradigm to enhance the safety of automated vehicles and intelligent transportation systems (ITS). The computation offloading strategies are the key point of VEC, and the effect of time-varying channels cannot be ignored during the task transmission period. This paper investigates the utility maximization problem with task delay requirement constraints, in which the influence of time-varying channel on the task offloading strategies during the task offloading period is considered. The time-varying fading channel leads to the time-varying spectrum efficiency (SE), so the previous offloading strategies are questionable when the additional uncertain allocated bandwidth is taken into account. To deal with it, we first propose a linearization based Branch and Bound (LBB) algorithm to solve the fixed SE problem without considering the time-varying channel characteristics. Considering the complexity of the LBB algorithm, a closest rounding integer (CRI) algorithm is proposed to solve the fixed SE problem. Then, based on the resource allocation strategies of the fixed SE problem, we propose the LBB based computation offloading (LBBCO) algorithm and the CRI based computation offloading (CRICO) algorithm to solve the original problem for both the static tasks and dynamic tasks. The proposed LBBCO/CRICO algorithms are also applicable to multi-vehicle and multi-task scenarios. Furthermore, we analyze the effect of small-scale fading on the proposed offloading strategies. The simulation results show that the average utilities of LBBCO and CRICO algorithms have a small gap by 3.93% and 6.13% only to the upper bound, respectively. • SMS fiber optic sensor was employed to monitor steel rebar corrosion. • Machine learning (ML) is used for automatic detection of steel rebar corrosion. • Twelve ML algorithms are tested and compared based on SMS fiber optic sensor data. • ExtraTrees shows the best performance for automatic corrosion detection of steel rebar. A method for automatic monitoring of steel rebar corrosion by integrating machine learning (ML) with single mode-multimode-single mode (SMS) fiber optic corrosion sensors is proposed in this study. SMS fiber optic corrosion sensors are fabricated in the laboratory and employed for corrosion monitoring of steel rebar in 3.5 wt% NaCl solution. The data of both the transmission spectrum of the SMS fiber optic corrosion sensor and the corrosion-induced mass loss of steel rebar are collected for training ML models. A total of twelve ML algorithms is trained and compared based on the whole and portion of the light spectrum database. Results show that only seven ML algorithms demonstrate good performance based on the whole original transmission spectrum data obtained from the SMS fiber optic corrosion sensors. However, they show poor performance based on portion of the database in corroded chronological order in comparison with those based on the whole database due to the nonlinear relationship between the corrosion-induced mass loss of steel rebar and the shift of the transmission spectrum of the SMS fiber optic corrosion sensors. A string of niobium-iron composite oxides with varying Nb/Fe ratios and calcination temperatures were produced and utilized to remove mixed contaminants (500 ppmv chlorobenzene and 500 ppmv toluene in air), and the structure/texture of catalytic materials were systematically characterized. The findings of the structure-performance study revealed that the physicochemical qualities of Nb 2 O 5 -Fe 2 O 3 were greatly enhanced than pure metal oxide. The presence of iron oxide hindered the crystallization of niobium oxide, which aided in the uniform dispersion of niobium-iron components into each other. Forming FeNbO 4 at Nb/Fe molar ratio of 1/2 effectively improved the thermal stability of catalyst, withstood short-time thermal shock below 850 °C. The formation of niobium-iron composite oxides improved the specific surface area, optimized the pore size distribution, increased surface acid centers, enhanced reduction/oxidation cycle, and promoted metal-metal interaction for the Nb-Fe-O catalysts. At 320 °C, the catalytic degradation efficiency of 1Nb2Fe-500 could approach 90% for chlorobenzene and 85% for toluene, and it could sustain this efficiency for at least 80 h without evident deactivation, with a high CO 2 selectivity of 86%. Furthermore, the Nb-Fe-O catalysts met the environmentally benign and low-cost requirements for environmental catalysis. In this paper, we propose and demonstrate a miniature high-temperature fiber-optic sensor based on tip-packaged Fabry-Perot interferometer which is insensitive to changes in external refractive index and can maintain good temperature sensing characteristics. The sensor is built by splicing a piece of a suspended-core optical fiber (SCF) to single mode fiber (SMF). In addition, we propose two packaging methods. One is packaged by a section of hollow core fiber (HCF) whose the other end is discharged to form a tapered structure and the other is packaged by a section of SMF. The temperature sensitivities of these two sensors increase from 11.10 pm/ °C to 20.10 pm/ °C and 10.93 pm/ °C to 20.75 pm/ °C over the temperature range of 25–1000 °C due to the thermo-optic coefficient (TOC) of silicon is not linear, respectively. Besides, repeatability and stability are verified by heating and cooling the FPI another two times and the hysteresis errors are analyzed. Taking the relationship between new urbanization and urban ecological security protection as research object, based on pressure - status - response model, taking Gaochun (Gucheng Lake basin) and Zhangjiakou (Guanting Reservoir basin) as the examples, basin ecological security in its new urbanization process was evaluated. Based on the principle of comprehensiveness, representativeness and data availability, evaluation indexes were selected, and index system was established. Mathematical function of evaluation indexes was established, and security index of each evaluation indicator in index layer was determined. Using weighted average method, ecological security indexes in the two areas were obtained. On the basis of comparison and analysis, it is proposed that we must deal with urban ecological security problem in new urbanization process, thereby truly achieving ultimate value orientation of new urbanization construction oriented by people. Cyber-physical systems (CPSs) connect with the physical world via communication networks, which significantly increases security risks of CPSs. To secure the sensitive data, secure forwarding is an essential component of CPSs. However, CPSs require high dimensional multiattribute and multilevel security requirements due to the significantly increased system scale and diversity, and hence impose high demand on the secure forwarding information query and storage. To tackle these challenges, we propose a practical secure data forwarding scheme for CPSs. Considering the limited storage capability and computational power of entities, we adopt bloom filter to store the secure forwarding information for each entity, which can achieve well balance between the storage consumption and query delay. Furthermore, a novel link-based bloom filter construction method is designed to reduce false positive rate during bloom filter construction. Catalytic performance of Pd/Ce 0.67 Zr 0.33 O 2 –Al 2 O 3 catalysts for CO, HC and NO x elimination is greatly influenced by Pd precursors. Pd/CZA(Cl) catalyst prepared with H 2 PdCl 4 as precursor exhibits a good catalytic performance for HC and NO conversion. PdO x species are mainly dispersed on Al 2 O 3 surface with larger PdO x particle size and higher electron density. Residual Cl species in the catalyst could be removed and PdO x species would migrate to (Ce,Zr) x O 2 -rich gain surface after aging treatment, promoting catalyst thermal stability. While Pd/CZA(NO) and Pd/CZA(NH) catalysts prepared with Pd(NO 3 ) 2 or Pd(NH 3 ) 4 (NO 3 ) 2 as precursor promote CO oxidation at low temperature. PdO x species are mainly dispersed on (Ce,Zr) x O 2 -rich gain surface with smaller Pd particle size and strong Pd-support interaction. Surface chemistry under reaction conditions is revealed by in situ DRIFTS studies. PdO x species dispersed on Al 2 O 3 surface in Pd/CZA(Cl) could be partly reduced during reaction, promoting NO adsorption and dissociation. Network optimization is one of an effective ways to enhance the performance of an active distribution network (ADN). Aiming to improve the operation and power quality of the ADN considering time variations in load and renewable distributed generation (RDG) power, a multi-time period optimization model and its dynamic solution method are proposed. Considering the real time load demand and power generation variation of RDG versus input parameters like wind speed and solar irradiance, the time variation models of load and RDG power output are developed. The minimum power loss and maximum absorption of RDG power are served as the optimization indexes to construct the dynamic muti-time period optimization model. A hybrid particle swarm optimization (HPSO) algorithm is presented based on integer coding and random coding technique, which can find the most satisfactory solutions for the proposed dynamic model. Considering the time variation of load and RDG power of ADN, the optimal network structure and RDG allocation scheme at any time interval are determined by analyzing the obtained solutions. Additionally, two ADNs with time variation in load and RDG are tested to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed dynamic optimization model and HPSO algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed method can improve the operation performance and RDG optimal utilization of the ADNs through muti-time period dynamic optimization. The effects of different concentrations of xanthan and konjac gums on the pasting, rheological properties, microstructure, crystallinity, and digestibility of mung bean resistant starch (MRS) were investigated. Based on the results of pasting properties, the adjunction of gums increased the peak, breakdown, and final viscosities of resistant starch. Compared with resistant starch, the addition of gum significantly increased the K value and dynamic moduli (G', G") of MRS with increasing gum concentration. This finding indicates that the mixtures had higher viscoelasticity. Mixtures with xanthan gum of MRS had larger starch particle compared with MRS, as revealed by SEM. All starches showed B and V-type crystallinity with high crystallinity. MRS had the highest summation of resistant starch (RS) and slowly digestible starch (SDS) of 71.89%. A hypoglossal nerve stimulator (HGNS) is an invasive device that is used to treat obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) through electrical stimulation. The conventional implantable HGNS device consists of a stimuli generator, a breathing sensor, and electrodes connected to the hypoglossal nerve via leads. However, this implant is bulky and causes significant trauma. In this paper, we propose a minimally invasive HGNS based on an electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor and wireless power transfer (WPT), consisting of a wearable breathing monitor and an implantable stimulator. The breathing external monitor utilizes an ECG sensor to identify abnormal breathing patterns associated with OSA with 88.68% accuracy, achieved through the utilization of a convolutional neural network (CNN) algorithm. With a skin thickness of 5 mm and a receiving coil diameter of 9 mm, the power conversion efficiency was measured as 31.8%. The implantable device, on the other hand, is composed of a front-end CMOS power management module (PMM), a binary-phase-shift-keying (BPSK)-based data demodulator, and a bipolar biphasic current stimuli generator. The PMM, with a silicon area of 0.06 mm 2 (excluding PADs), demonstrated a power conversion efficiency of 77.5% when operating at a receiving frequency of 2 MHz. Furthermore, it offers three-voltage options (1.2 V, 1.8 V, and 3.1 V). Within the data receiver component, a low-power BPSK demodulator was ingeniously incorporated, consuming only 42 μ W when supplied with a voltage of 0.7 V. 4D flow MRI allows the analysis of hemodynamic changes in the aorta caused by pathologies such as thoracic aortic aneurysms (TAA). For personalized management of TAA, new biomarkers are required to analyze the effect of fluid structure iteration which can be obtained from 4D flow MRI. However, the generation of these biomarkers requires prior 4D segmentation of the aorta. To develop an automatic deep learning model to segment the aorta in 4D from 4D flow MRI. Segmentation is addressed with a U-Net based segmentation model that treats each 4D flow MRI frame as an independent sample. Performance is measured with respect to Dice score (DS) and Hausdorff distance (HD). In addition, the maximum and minimum surface areas at the level of the ascending aorta are measured and compared with those obtained from cine-MRI. The segmentation performance was 0. 90 ± 0. 02 for the DS and the mean HD was 9. 58 ± 4. 36 mm. A correlation coefficient of r = 0.85 was obtained for the maximum surface and r = 0.86 for the minimum surface between the 4D flow MRI and cine-MRI. The proposed automatic approach of 4D aortic segmentation from 4D flow MRI seems to be accurate enough to contribute to the wider use of this imaging technique in the analysis of pathologies such as TAA. The IoT is a novel platform for making objects more intelligent by connecting to the Internet. However, mass connections, big data processing, and huge power consumption restrict the development of IoT. In order to address these challenges, this article proposes a novel ECIoT architecture. To further enhance the system performance, radio resource and computational resource management in ECIoT are also investigated. According to the characteristics of the ECIoT, we mainly focus on admission control, computational resource allocation, and power control. To improve the performance of ECIoT, cross-layer dynamic stochastic network optimization is studied to maximize the system utility, based on the Lyapunov stochastic optimization approach. Evaluation results are provided which demonstrate that the proposed resource allocation scheme can improve throughput, reduce end-to-end delay, and also achieve an average throughput and delay trade-off. We propose and demonstrate a 2 × 2 microparticles curvilinear transport channel based on a dual self-accelerating beam generator. The device is composed of a dual-core fiber, a hollow capillary fiber, and a coreless silica fiber. The dual self-accelerating beams produced by the device propagate along the curvilinear trajectory due to the transverse accelerating property and then cross at the front of the fiber probe. The experimental results show that the yeast cell is transported along the curvilinear trajectory. By adjusting the optical power ratio of dual beams, we may control and ensure the yeast cell steers at the cross point. The proposed 2 × 2 curvilinear microparticles transport channel based on dual self-accelerating beams can realize microparticles sorting and obstacle avoidance, which means that it would be a useful tool in biology and colloidal science. Human respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a common cause of respiratory infections in infants, young children, and elderly people. However, there are no effective treatments or vaccines available in most countries. In this study, we explored the anti-RSV potential of 2, 4-Di-tert-butylphenol (2, 4-DTBP), a compound derived from Houttuynia cordata Thunb. To overcome the poor solubility of 2, 4-DTBP, we encapsulated it in polymeric micelles and delivered it by inhalation. We found that 2, 4-DTBP-loaded micelles inhibited RSV infection in vitro and improved survival, lung pathology, and viral clearance in RSV-infected mice. Cooperative Vehicle-Infrastructure System (CVIS) can provide innovative services for traffic management and enable trips to be safer, more coordinated, and smarter. In the CVIS, the vehicles upload crowd sensing data to the Vehicular Edge Computing (VEC) server for quick data fusion and informed decision-making. However, with the ever-increasing number of vehicles, the VEC server cannot undertake massive computation-intensive tasks due to the limited edge computing capabilities. In this paper, we propose a reverse offloading framework that can fully utilize the vehicular computation resource to relieve the burden of the VEC server and further reduce the system latency. Under the proposed offloading framework, the binary reverse offloading (BRO) and partial reverse offloading (PRO) strategies are designed for two types of tasks, i.e., non-partitioned tasks and partitioned tasks. We formulate the system latency minimization problem by optimizing reverse offloading decisions, and the communication and computation resources allocation. Due to the non-convex and existing variables coupling, the original problem is transformed into the equivalent weighted-sum optimization problem. Based on the alternative optimization, we decouple the weighted-sum optimization problems into the two subproblems, and the closed-form expressions of transmission power and computation frequency of vehicles and RSU are derived. Low complexity greedy based efficient searching (GES) algorithm and joint alternative optimization based bi-section searching (JAOBSS) algorithm are proposed for BRO and PRO strategies, respectively. The algorithm complexity and performance bounds are analyzed. Simulation results show that the proposed GES algorithm can achieve optimal performance with low complexity. Dense deployment of femtocells can cause serious intra-tier interference in femtocell networks. In this paper, a new cooperative interference management approach which allows the femtocell user equipment (FUE) to merge into cooperative groups, that is, coalitions, for the uplink transmissions in a femtocell network is proposed, so as to reduce the intra-tier interference and improve the system performance. Taking into account the power cost for cooperation, we claim that all the FUEs are impossible to merge together, and we formulate the proposed cooperative problem as a coalitional game in partition form with an externality due to the interference between the formed coalitions. To get the solution, a novel distributed coalition formation algorithm that takes advantage of the characteristics of femtocell network and allows the FUEs to interact and individually decide on which coalitions to participate in is proposed. Furthermore, we analyze the convergence and stability of the proposed algorithm. Simulations are conducted to illustrate the behavior and the performance of the proposed coalition formation algorithm among FUEs. Pd/CeO 2 –ZrO 2 –Pr 2 O 3 (CZP) catalysts with different Ce/Zr molar ratios were synthesized and systematically investigated by XRD, N 2 adsorption–desorption, XPS, H 2 -TPR, OSC and in situ DRIFTS techniques. The results of XPS, in situ DRIFTS, etc., show that the number of oxygen vacancies increases with the increasing Zr content and thus leads to the enhanced metal-support interaction and the accelerative formation rate of nitrate, formate, acetate and carbonate species, resulting in improving catalytic performance for HC and NO elimination, especially for Pd/CZP catalysts with Ce/Zr from 1/2 to 1/3. While Pd/CZP catalysts with higher OSC value (Ce/Zr = 4/1–1/2) exhibit better catalytic activity of CO and NO 2 elimination. An appropriate concentration of Zr facilitates the diffusion of Pr from the surface to the bulk of the CZP supports, thus forming more homogeneous CZP solid solution and improving the structure/textual stability, which promotes the thermal stability of catalysts. Simple Summary: Foxl2 generally presents a sexually dimorphic expression pattern in animal gonads and is highly expressed in the ovary. However, few studies on the transcriptional regulation of Foxl2 have been documented. To understand the transcriptional regulating of Foxl2 high expression in the ovary, we used the Y1H system, a high throughput approach, for the first time to screen the transcription factors binding to the high transcriptional activity region of Foxl2 promoter in Zhikong scallop (Chlamys farreri) gonads. In the present study, the highly transcriptional activity promoter sequence of Cf-Foxl2 was determined at −1000~−616 bp and 11 candidate factors were verified to involve in Cf-Foxl2 transcriptional regulation. Our findings provided valuable data for better understanding the specific transcriptional regulation mechanism of Foxl2 in the ovary and would further assist in the breeding of aquacultural bivalves. Foxl2 is an evolutionarily conserved female sex gene, which is specifically expressed in the ovary and mainly involved in oogenesis and ovarian function maintenance. However, little is known about the mechanism that regulates Foxl2 specific expression during the ovary development. In the present study, we constructed the gonadal yeast one-hybrid (Y1H) library of Chlamysfarreri with ovaries and testes at different developmental stages using the Gateway technology. The library capacity was more than 1.36 × 107 CFU, and the length of the inserted fragment was 0.75 Kb~2 Kb, which fully met the demand of yeast library screening. The highly transcriptional activity promoter sequence of C. farreri Foxl2 (Cf-Foxl2) was determined at −1000~−616 bp by dual-luciferase reporter (DLR) assay and was used as bait to screen possible transcription factors from the Y1H library. Eleven candidate factors, including five unannotated factors, were selected based on Y1H as well as their expressional differences between ovaries and testes and were verified for the first time to be involved in the transcriptional regulation of Cf-Foxl2 by RT-qPCR and DLR. Service restoration of distribution networks in contingency situations is one of the highly investigated and challenging problems. In the conventional service restoration method, utilities reconfigure the topological structure of the distribution networks to supply the consumer load demands. However, the advancements in renewable distributed generations define a new dimension for developing service restoration methodologies. This paper proposes a hierarchical service restoration mechanism for distribution networks in the presence of distributed generations and multiple faults. The service restoration problem is modeled as a complicated and hierarchical program. The objectives are to achieve the maximization of loads restored with minimization of switch operations while simultaneously satisfying grid operational constraints and ensuring a radial operation configuration. We present the service restoration mechanism, which includes the dynamic topology analysis, matching isolated islands with renewable distributed generations, network reconfiguration, and network optimization. A new code scheme that avoids feasible solutions is applied to generate candidate solutions to reduce the computational burden. We evaluate the proposed mechanism on the IEEE 33 and 69 systems and report on the collected results under multitype fault cases. The results demonstrate the importance of the available renewable distributed generations in the proposed mechanism. Moreover, simulation results verify that the proposed mechanism can obtain reasonable service restoration plans to achieve the maximization of loads restored and minimization of switching operations under different faults. The fault location of an active distribution network is a vital analysis to prevent major outages in the power system. Considering the influence of renewable distributed generations on fault characteristics, this paper proposes a novel location method based on a dynamic quantum genetic algorithm to solve for fault locations in active distribution networks. In the method, the fault current code is measured based on feeder terminal units. A universal switching function is presented to convert the feeder switch status into an uploaded fault current code. The fault location model is defined as an optimization problem that presents the evaluation objective function with an anti-false-positive factor. The dynamic quantum genetic algorithm is developed to locate the fault feeder according to the uploaded fault current code of the feeder terminal unit. The algorithm adopts dynamic rotating gate strategy and adaptive quantum crossover strategy to satisfy the requirements of quickness and accuracy for fault location. Moreover, the method avoids easily falling into a local optimum by integrating the discrete quantum mutation. The proposed fault location technique is tested and compared to other existing techniques on a 33-bus active distribution network. The simulation results show that the proposed fault location method can locate fault feeders accurately with fast computational times under conditions of single or multiple faults and with an information distortion of the feeder terminal unit. With powerful storage and computation capability, vehicular edge computing is considered as a promising paradigm to enhance the safety and quality-of-service of vehicles in intelligent transportation systems. In this work, we investigate a joint road side units (RSUs) selection and resource allocation problem, with the objective of minimizing the total task offloading delay subject to the bandwidth and computation resources constraints, in non-collaborative and collaborative RSU scenarios. For the former, as the formulated problem is a mixed-integer nonlinear programming problem, we re-formulate the original problem into a convex one and then decompose it into a distributed manner. By utilizing the alternating direction method of multipliers, we propose a joint RSUs selection and resource allocation (JRSRA) algorithm. For the collaborative RSU scenarios, we transform the problem into a convex optimization problem by linearization, and propose a joint resource allocation based branch and bound (JRABB) algorithm to solve the total task offloading delay minimization problem. • In this letter, we propose an all-fiber all-optical phase modulator based on an active Fabry-Perot interferometer (FPI) with Er/Yb co-doped fiber (EYDF). The rare earth dopants in active fiber act as heaters, effectively changing the refractive index and phase of the F-P cavity via the thermo-optic effect. • A maximum phase shift of 2.53 π with a slope of 0.0167 π/mW is obtained in the experiments. • Note that the dopants and the optical signal transmission are both in fiber core, while the cladding of the fiber acts as a natural protective barrier for insulating the outside environment pollution. Therefore, the design of all optical fiber without material coating not only makes the device simple to manufacture and has a small footprint, but also offers good long-term environmental stability. All-optical devices have attracted much attention for its potential applications in optical communication. In this letter, we propose an all-fiber all-optical phase controller based on an active Fabry-Perot interferometer (FPI) with Er/Yb co-doped fiber (EYDF). Two sections of EYDFs generate a large amount of heat under the pumping excitation of 973 nm, and achieve refractive index change and phase shift of F-P cavity via the thermo-optic effect. Experimental results show that the maximum phase shift of fabricated device is 2.53 π with a slope of 0.0167 π/mW, as well as the phase shift can be converted into the variations of light intensity by the interference characteristic of FPI, enabling optical switching with a rise time of 221 ms. The design of all optical fiber without material coating makes the device has advantages of simple manufacturing, small footprint, especially with good long-term environmental stability. We believe this scheme may provide a new platform for the investigation of all-fiber all-optical modulation, with potential applications in the field of tunable optical filters and Q-switched lasers. This paper presents a built-in input matching technique capable of handling a wide variation of multi-array thermoelectric generator (TEG) impedances, from 5 Ω to 2.7 K Ω , which is called internal-resistance-adaptive (IRA) maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique. The IRA circuit and delay synthesis circuit in the IRA-MPPT can track the dynamic changes of the internal resistance of the energy source in real time, and transmit the optimized switching time to the switching transistor to maximize the end-to-end efficiency (η E–E). The circuit is designed and simulated using 0. 18 μ m technology. An improvement of 23.23%@(R S = 2.7 K Ω , V S = 0.6 V) in η E–E is achieved with the proposed technique. • Surgery under high-dose propofol anesthesia could reduce memory loss compared to low-dose propofol anesthesia. • Surgery under low-dose propofol anesthesia could depolymerize actin cytoskeleton in hippocampus. • Surgery under high-dose propofol anesthesia could maintain the polymerization of actin in hippocampus. Postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) is a common postoperative complication observed in patients following. Here we tested the molecular mechanisms of memory loss in hippocampus of rat POCD model. We found that high-dose propofol anesthesia significantly alleviated spatial memory loss. The proteomes and transcriptomes in hippocampus showed that hippocampal cytoskeleton related pathways were abnormal in low group while not in high group. The protein assays confirmed that hippocampal actin cytoskeleton was depolymerized in low group while maintained in high group. High sensitivity interferometers are key building blocks in many areas of optical and photonic devices. In this letter, we propose and experimentally demonstrate a new scheme for improving the phase sensitivity of interferometer by using slow light in a microknot resonator (MKR). The slow-light interferometer with a footprint of 1.5 mm × 4 mm is fabricated by using microfiber with a diameter of 5.6 μm. By coupling MKR to one arm of the interferometer, the slow light is introduced to enhance the phase sensitivity of the interferometer. The experimental results show that the MKR has a Q-factor of 13520, and the time delay of slow light at resonance frequency is 28 ps. The phase sensitivity of Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) with slow light is 25.54 rad/THz, which is 10.4 times that of a MZI without slow light. The proposed hybrid structure has the advantages of easy fabrication, small footprint, high sensitivity and wide slow light bandwidth, allowing for potential applications in miniaturization of spectrometer and high sensitivity sensing. CRISPR/Cas9 ribonucleoprotein (RNP) complexes are promising biological tools with diverse biomedical applications. However, to date there are no efficient methods that can produce these proteins at large scales and low cost. Here, we present a streamlined method for direct production of Cas9 RNPs from Escherichia coli by co-expression of Cas9 and the target-specific single-guided RNAs. Harnessing an ultrahigh-affinity CL7/Im7 purification system recently developed we achieve one-step purification of the self-assembling CRISPR/Cas RNPs, including the commonly used Cas9 and Cas12a, within half a day and with a ~fourfold higher yield than incumbent methods. The prepared Cas RNPs show remarkable stability in the absence of RNase inhibitors, as well as profound gene-editing efficiency in vitro and in vivo. Our method is convenient, cost-effective, and can be used to prepare other CRISPR/Cas RNPs. Cell surface display systems for immobilization of peptides and proteins on the surface of cells have various applications, such as vaccine generation, protein engineering, bio-conversion and bio-adsorption. Though plenty of methods have been established in terms of traditional yeast surface display systems, the development of a universal display method with high efficiency remains a challenge. Here we report an indirect yeast surface display method by anchoring Im7 proteins on the surface of P. pastoris, achieving highly efficient display of target proteins, including fluorescence proteins (sfGFP and mCherry) or enzymes (human Arginase I), with a CL7 fusion tag through the ultra-high-affinity interaction between Im7 and CL7. Brackish water samples from Lake Pontchartrain in Louisiana were assessed for the presence of pathogenic amoeba Naegleria fowleri , which causes primary amoebic meningoencephalitis (PAM). In our study, quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) methods were used to determine N. fowleri , E. coli , and enterococci in water collected from Lake Pontchartrain. N. fowleri target sequence was detected in 35.4% (56/158) of the water samples from ten sites around the lake. Statistically significant positive correlations between N. fowleri concentration and water temperature as well as E. coli (qPCR) were observed. Multiple linear regression (MLR) model shows seasonal factor (summer or winter) has significant effect on the concentration of N. fowleri , E. coli and enterococci (qPCR) concentration. Significant positive relationships between E. coli and enterococci was observed from both qPCR ( r = 0.25) and culture based method ( r = 0.54). Meanwhile, significant positive correlation between qPCR and culture based methods for enterococci concentration was observed ( r = 0.33). In our study, water temperature and E. coli concentration were indicative of N. fowleri concentrations in brackish water environment. This paper intends to contribute to a better knowledge of the dehydration and rehydration of blended SCMs(SF, FA, GGBS, LS)-cement pastes. To this end, a comprehensive experimental program combining QXRD, TG, SEM, isothermal calorimetry, MIP and mechanical tests was performed. The thermal activation temperature (TAT) has a significant influence on the rehydration properties of recycled blended cement (RBC) pastes, in particular, different optimum TAT was obtained in different RBC with various precursor components, resulting in pastes with different microstructure and mechanical properties. The RBC paste is formed by a 'dual structure' composed by internal hydration products (rehydrated from porous RBC particles) and external hydration products (surrounding dispersed particles, primarily AFt and AFm). The intertidal zone is a transitional area of the land-sea continuum, in which physical and chemical properties vary during the tidal cycle and highly toxic sulfides are rich in sediments due to the dynamic regimes. As a typical species thriving in this habitat, Urechis unicinctus presents strong sulfide tolerance and is expected to be a model species for sulfide stress research. Heat shock proteins (HSPs) consist of a large group of highly conserved molecular chaperones, which play important roles in stress responses. In this study, we systematically analyzed the composition and expression of HSPs in U. unicinctus. A total of eighty-six HSP genes from seven families were identified, in which two families, including sHSP and HSP70, showed moderate expansion, and this variation may be related to the benthic habitat of the intertidal zone. Furthermore, expression analysis revealed that almost all the HSP genes in U. unicinctus were significantly induced under sulfide stress, suggesting that they may be involved in sulfide stress response. Weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) showed that 12 HSPs, including 5 sHSP and 4 HSP70 family genes, were highly correlated with the sulfide stress response which was distributed in steelblue and green modules. Our data indicate that HSPs, especially sHSP and HSP70 families, may play significant roles in response to sulfide stress in U. unicinctus. This systematic analysis provides valuable information for further understanding of the function of the HSP gene family for sulfide adaptation in U. unicinctus and contributes a better understanding of the species adaptation strategies of marine benthos in the intertidal zone.
