Solid-state fans (SSFs) have distinct advantages over traditional cooling fans in the thermal management of high-power electronics. In this work, a magnetic-field-enhanced SSF is proposed, and the physical model of negative corona discharge superimposed by an electromagnetic field is established. A computational model is used to calculate and analyze the effect of the magnetic field on the ionic wind distribution. The magnetic flux density and permanent magnet position distribution in the SSF are optimized experimentally, and the optimized SSF is applied to LED chip cooling. The findings show that adding a magnetic field encourages electrons to collide with neutral gas molecules and enhances the driving force of charged particles. The ionic wind velocity and mean driving force at the SSF's outlet will grow as magnetic flux density rises, and the ionic wind flow distribution will show apparent divergence. When the permanent magnet spacing is 15 mm, the highest ionic wind velocity is 2.82 m/s, and the mean driving force of SSF increases by 30.2%. The magnetic-field-enhanced SSF has a better LED-chip cooling effect, the maximum junction temperature drop is 11.6°C, and the cooling efficiency is higher. This research introduces a novel way of improving the cooling of electronics.

Although numerous studies related to trust have emerged in recent decades, few studies have explored the impact of subliminal stimuli on trust from an unconscious perspective. This study investigated (a) whether subliminal stimuli could influence interpersonal trust and team trust and (b) whether subjective trust played a mediating role between subliminal stimuli and behavioral trust. It contained two experiments. In Experiment 1, a total of 72 participants took part in a single factor design and completed five tasks. In Experiment 2, a total of 98 participants participated in a single factor design and completed five tasks. Results indicated that subliminal stimuli had a significant impact on interpersonal trust and team trust. Subjective trust played a mediating role between subliminal stimuli and behavioral trust. The results suggest that subliminal priming techniques can influence interpersonal trust and team trust. These techniques first influence subjective trust and then further influence behavioral trust.

With the disintegration of the traditionally circumscribed Scrophulariaceae, the phylogenetic placements of most genera formerly placed in that family have been resolved. However, the familial placement of the monotypic genus Mimulicalyx has not been included in any published molecular phylogenetic study. Here, we adopt a two-step approach to resolve the phylogenetic placement of Mimulicalyx using three datasets: (1) a 71 619 bp plastome alignment of Lamiales; (2) a dataset of six plastid DNA regions (atpB, matK, ndhF, rbcL, rps16 and trnL-trnF) for Phrymaceae; and (3) a dataset of the nuclear ribosomal internal and external transcribed spacer regions (nrITS, ETS) for Phrymaceae. Our analyses reveal that Mimulicalyx is a member of the tribe Mimuleae in Phrymaceae. Generic level phylogenetic relationships within Phrymaceae are further discussed, and a dichotomous key to the 15 genera currently recognized is provided.

Objectives. This paper intends to assess the clinical influence of chronic total occlusions (CTOs), revascularization, and the impact of vascularization completeness on patients with left ventricular (LV) systolic dysfunction. Background. The roles of CTO vascularization in clinical benefits remain conflicting. In addition, data concerning the different results of CTO vascularization and vascularization completeness according to LV systole function were assessed. Methods. From an overall 918 consecutive patients with at least one CTO, 281 patients with ejection fraction (EF) ≤40% accepted coronary angiographic analysis between Jan 1, 2012, and Dec 31, 2020, and 29 patients were excluded. Subsequently, 261 patients were grouped into the successful CTO-PCI revascularization group (SCR, n = 135) and the optimal medical therapy group (OMT, n = 126). The prognosis influence of successfully finished CTO-PCI and complete revascularization on survival was evaluated. The primary endpoint was cardiac mortality, and the secondary endpoints were major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCE). Results. After a median follow-up time of 38.02 months, the cardiac mortality ( p = 0.037 ) and MACCE ( p = 0.001 ) were more remarkable in the OMT group than in the SCR group. Moreover, patients with CTO-PCI had survival benefits from complete revascularization for MACCE ( p = 0.025 ) and cardiac mortality ( p = 0.041 ). Based on multivariable Cox proportional hazards regression analysis, age ≧ 75 years (HR: 3.443, 95% CI 1.719–6.897, p < 0.001 ) predicted a worse probability of cardiac mortality. Additionally, previous PCI (HR: 1.592, 95% CI 1.034–2.449, p = 0.035 ) and previous MI (HR: 1.971, 95% CI 1.258–3.088, p = 0.003 ) predicted a worse probability of MACCE, and SCR (HR: 0.499, 95% CI 0.320–0.776, p = 0.002 ) was a protection predictor of MACCE. Conclusion. In patients with LV systole dysfunction (EF ≤ 40%), successfully finished CTO-PCI is related to long-term survival benefits. The benefits were more remarkable in patients with complete coronary revascularization (CCR).

Proprotein Convertase Subtilisin/Kexin Type 9 (PCSK9) in mammals is a multifunctional protein. In this study, PCSK9 of marine fish Epinephelus coioides was characterized. The full-length cDNA of E. coioides PCSK9 was 2458 bp in length containing 185 bp 5' UTR, 263 bp 3' UTR and 2010 bp open reading frame (ORF) encoding 669 amino acids with the predicted molecular weight of 71 kDa and the theoretical PI of 6.6. Similar to other members of PCSK9 family, E. coioides PCSK9 has three conserved domains: Inhibitor_ I9 super family, Peptidases_ S8_ PCSK9_ Proteinase K_ like, and PCSK9_ C-CRD super family. E. coioides PCSK9 mRNA could be detected in all the tissues examined by real-time quantitative PCR, with the highest expression in the brain, followed by skin, trunk kidney, head kidney, intestine, blood, liver, spleen, gill, muscle and heart. E. coioides PCSK9 was distributed in both the cytoplasm and nucleus. The expression of E. coioides PCSK9 was significantly upregulated during Singapore grouper iridovirus (SGIV) infection. Upregulated PCSK9 could significantly affect the activities of nuclear factor kappaB (NF-κB) promoter, SGIV-induced apoptosis, and the expressions of the key SGIV genes (ICP18, LITAT, MCP, and VP19) and the E. coioides proinflammatory factors (IL-6, IL-1β, IL-8, and TNF-α). The results illustrated that E. coioides PCSK9 might be involved in the pathogen infection by regulating the innate immune response.

Data on the distribution of voriconazole (VRC) in the human peritoneal cavity are sparse. This prospective study aimed to describe the pharmacokinetics of intravenous VRC in the peritoneal fluid of critically ill patients.

The gut microbiome is clearly linked to the development of various autoimmune diseases, however, its association with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is less well understood. The current study collected 73 samples, including 36 from healthy individuals and 37 from ITP patients. The gut microbial community was assessed using 16s rRNA sequencing. Findings illustrated that the abundance of key microbiota was significantly higher in the ITP group. This group was further divided into three subgroups that received different treatments for ITP. A random forest model was used to predict the key microbiota and the identified bacteria were shown to easily distinguish between the healthy and the ITP treatment groups. Microbial function annotation and difference analysis showed that drug treatment changed the gut microbiota and may play a role in inducing host autoimmune responses by changing microbial metabolism pathways. Clinical indices also correlated negatively with changes in the microbiota after treatment. In summary, ITP patients who received drug treatment had significant differences in their microbiota along with a high abundance of bacteria. Thus, the microbiome could be used as a biomarker to distinguish between healthy and ITB groups. The key differential bacteria could help to regulate the number of platelets in ITP patients and provide a red blood cell overstock.

Objective: To explore the applicability of bone reamer and trephine for foraminoscopy in percutaneous endoscopic lumbar discectomy(PELD), and to provide a theoretical basis for foraminoplasty options in clinical practice. Methods:This study was a prospective cohort study. Sixty-three consecutive patients who underwentPELD for lumbar disc herniation between May 2021 and July 2022 were analysed. Foraminoplasty were performed by bone reamer or trephine. The amount of bone resected and the area enlarged during foraminoplasty by both tools were measured by 3D slicer as well as Digimizer software, and the numbers of fluoroscopic views were recorded. Results: The bone reamer resected less bone in the Superior Articular Process (SAP) than the trephine (t=17.507, PConclusion:Bone reamer was safer and trephine was more efficient for foraminoscopy in PELD. An area of preoperative foraminoplasty zone of 54.55 mm²can be used as a critical value: bone reamer reduced the risk for cases above the value, while trephine improved the efficiency for cases less than the value.

Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) have demonstrated great success in Knowledge Graph Completion (KGC) by modeling how entities and relations interact in recent years. However, most of them are designed to learn from the observed graph structure, which appears to have imbalanced relation distribution during the training stage. Motivated by the causal relationship among the entities on a knowledge graph, we explore this defect through a counterfactual question: "would the relation still exist if the neighborhood of entities became different from observation?". With a carefully designed instantiation of a causal model on the knowledge graph, we generate the counterfactual relations to answer the question by regarding the representations of entity pair given relation as context, structural information of relation-aware neighborhood as treatment, and validity of the composed triplet as the outcome. Furthermore, we incorporate the created counterfactual relations with the GNN-based framework on KGs to augment their learning of entity pair representations from both the observed and counterfactual relations. Experiments on benchmarks show that our proposed method outperforms existing methods on the task of KGC, achieving new state-of-the-art results.
