The main aim of the teacher study program is to ensure the proper role of teaching practice, which is included in initial teacher training courses. It is necessary that teachers of chemistry gain or develop learner competencies for appropriate teaching/ learning in the chemistry subject by using innovative teaching methods. In terms of activities and methods correction of the continuous teaching practice model for prospective chemistry teachers in Pedagogical study program of 2nd degree "Educational Chemistry" which would ensure the creation of a competent chemistry teacher (active and innovative). The main result of the study is a list of potential competencies by prospective chemistry teachers using innovative teaching methods. These competencies can be developed and produced in the performance of activities defined by using continuous teaching practice, particularly in the areas of testing and assessment, experiential and collaborative learning, and experimental (laboratory and field) work. The paper discusses virtual computer game laboratory named SAUDAI – innovative methods of teaching students of the IT trends which will encourage them to learn and generate students’ interest for learning and research.

The growing role of social competencies, also referred to as soft skills, for a future working career is discussed, given a significant altering of the concepts of job families and functions, profession, workplace, working hours in the changing economy. The major attention is paid to such soft skills as collaboration, communication, critical thinking and problemsolving and the ways they can be developed at ESP classes in technical HEIs. Some exercises based on student-centred approach aimed to form these important skills are mentioned. To assess the effectiveness of the teaching methods applied through the module devoted to communication in academic and professional environments, a survey was undertaken among students of the first year. Its results show that innovative methods including role plays, team work and brain-storming are generally perceived by students as less appealing and efficient than more traditional ones such as reading or translation. It is concluded that more efforts are needed to introduce student-centred practices for developing soft skills. Обговорюється зростаюча роль соціальних компетенцій, які також називаються «гнучкими навичками» (soft skills), для майбутньої професійної кар’єри, з огляду на значні зміни у сутності роботи та робочих функцій, професії, робочого місця, робочого часу в умовах мінливої економіки. Основна увага приділяється таким соціальним компетенціям як співпраця, комунікація, критичне мислення та вирішення проблем, а також способам їхнього розвитку на заняттях з англійської мови за професійним спрямуванням (ESP) у технічних ВНЗ. Розглядаються деякі вправи, основані на студентоцентрованому підході, які спрямовані на формування цих важливих навичок. Для оцінки ефективності методів викладання, що застосовуються у навчальному модулі, присвяченому спілкуванню в академічному та професійному середовищі, було проведено опитування серед студентів першого курсу. Його результати показують, що інноваційні методи, такі як рольові ігри, командна робота та мозковий штурм, як правило, сприймаються студентами як менш привабливі та ефективні, ніж традиційні, наприклад, читання чи переклад. Зроблено висновок, що необхідні додаткові зусилля з впровадження студентоцентрованих вправ та завдань для розвитку гнучких навичок.

A modern educational process should approach students by taking into account all of their characteristics. A purely intellectual approach to teaching and learning should be replaced with a different approach that takes into account all of the other students' characteristics. Therefore, students’ attitudes toward learning specific school subjects are very important determinants of their learning outcomes. Through examining student attitudes, very important implications for creating innovative teaching methods could be defined. Traditional classrooms should be replaced with those with standing desks and other innovative teaching methods that enhance learning applied Physics. With the aim of postulating implications of specific innovative methods in teaching Physics, students’ attitudes toward learning Physics are analysed as possible predictors of students’ learning outcomes. The sample consisted of 557 eighth grade students from eight primary schools in Zagreb and Zagreb County. The collected data were analysed applying descriptive, correlation, and regression analysis. Overall, the study determined that students with more positive attitudes towards Physics achieved better scores in knowledge tests. Eight specific students’ attitudes toward learning Physics were determined as significant predictors of their learning outcomes. The content analysis of the students' attitudes implied that applied Physics would be the most understandable to students and that innovative teaching methods would improve their attitudes and learning outcomes in Physics. In addition, some students’ attitudes reflected gender differences and these differences should also be taken into account. Finally, some specific guidelines for implementing innovative teaching methods in Physics education and future research have been postulated.

Організація навчального процесу у форматах змішаного або переверненого навчання широко використовується у практиці викладання іноземних мов у вищих навчальних закладах в багатьох країнах світу. Серед переваг цих підходів слід назвати розширення спектру можливостей для самостійної роботи студентів, оптимізацію тайм-менеджменту під час аудиторних занять, а також підвищення мотивації студентів. Организация учебного процесса в форматах смешанного или перевёрнутого обучения широко используется в практике преподавания иностранных языков в высших учебных заведениях многих стран мира. Среди основных преимуществ данных подходов следует назвать расширение спектра возможностей для самостоятельной работы студентов, оптимизацию тайм-менеджмента в ходе аудиторных занятий, а также повышение мотивации студентов. Blended (or hybrid) and flipped learning methods are widely used nowadays as the innovative forms of organizing the learning process. Applying blended learning approach means that traditional classroom setting is combined with online tasks or using BYOD method. Flipped classroom, in its turn, is a pedagogical approach which means that the traditional classroom-based learning is inverted, so that students get the learning material before class, with lesson time then being used for discussions and problem-solving activities facilitated by the teacher. They are considered to be effective in the foreign languages teaching, for specific purposes in particular. Teachers from all over the world mention such advantages of these methods as the growing range of possibilities for the students’ independent work, time-management optimization (as far as the classroom lessons are concerned) and using digital technologies as one of the ways of raising the students’ motivation.

Od današnjeg obrazovnog sustava očekuje se uravnoteženo znanje u svim područjima osobnog razvoja koje će biti primjenjivo u praksi. Specifični gospodarski uvjeti utjecali su na brze promjene na tržištu rada koje zahtijeva formiranje optimalnog broja kompetentnih stručnjaka iz područja sestrinstva s mnogo generičkih i stručnih vještina koje se trajno usavršavaju, stoga je pred nastavnicima veliki izazov u procesu usmjeravanja i prijenosa informacija budućim generacijama. Novi naraštaji vole kombinaciju tradicionalnih metoda poučavanja, ali i primjenu suvremenih metoda koje zahtijevaju drugačiju organizaciju nastave i vođenje nastavnog procesa na inovativan način, jer se zbog utjecaja tehnologije mijenja i način na koji mladi percipiraju stvarnost, kao i način na koji nastavnici prenose nastavne sadržaje. Svi dostupni mediji i obrazovna tehnologija trebali bi biti stavljeni u funkcije kao što su: učenje traženja informacija, učenje kako se uči, učenje kako se rješavaju problemi, te učenje metodama istraživanja u kontroliranim uvjetima uz nadzor nastavnika. U tom kontekstu učenici bi trebali biti aktivni sudionici, a ne pasivni promatrači stoga je bitno istaknuti ulogu nastavnika i ulogu učenika te staviti naglasak da je suvremeni nastavni proces nastava koja se bazira na aktivnom uključivanju učenika u nastavni proces rada. Nastava koja je usmjerena na učenika zapravo je međusobna suradnja, kako nastavnika, tako i učenika sa zajedničkim ciljem postizanja željenih ishoda. Specific economic conditions have influenced rapid changes in labor market that demands the formation of the optimal number of competent experts from the field of nursing with many generic and specific/professional skills that are continuously trained, so before teachers there is a major challenge in the process of directing and transmission of information to the future generations. New generations prefer combination of traditional methods of teaching and contemporary methods that require a different organization of teaching and management of teaching process in an innovative way, because with the changing of technology, the way in which young people perceive reality is changing too, as well as the way in which teachers are transferring courses. All available media and educational technology should be placed in functions such as: learning how to search for information, learning how to learn, learning how to solve problems and learning research methods in controlled environments under the supervision of teachers. In this context, students should be active participants and not passive observers. It is therefore important to emphasize the role of teachers and the role of students, and to emphasize that the contemporary teaching process is teaching based on the active involvement of students in the process of teaching practice. Teaching that is focused on students is actually mutual cooperation of teachers and students with common goal of achieving desired outcomes. Diploma thesis deals with methods of communication and stylistic education at the elementary school, specifically in the second class. The main aim is to create a stack of methods for this subject which will be effectively applicable in practice. The task is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical one has six chapters. Five of them characterize notions connected to the topic, definitions, conception of communication and stylistic education in past and nowadays. They also submit principles, content and goal of this component. The sixth chapter presents different categorization described in scholarly literature. It compares described systems and it apprizes with available methods. The empirical part is dedicated to the stack of communication and stylistic education methods that is possible to use in specific lessons. It has been based on analysis of scientific literature, own class observation and it is complemented by innovative teaching methods. In the end of thesis we discuss about available material for teachers, the efficiency of created method, advantages of created stack and its usage in future.

The paper examines the creativity in engineering education. The authors substantiate the topicality of the training of creative professionals in Russia and abroad and present training of creative professionals experience at the Department of Engineering Entrepreneurship of NR TPU. The empirical basis of the paper is the definition of the algorithm and conditions of the training of creative professionals.

This paper focuses on methods of teaching and assessing very young learners’ foreign language knowledge and skills. Learners are observed, a journal is kept about their reactions and progress during classes. Later on learners are grouped in different groups according to their speed of acquisition and interest in learning in order to see if their interest and speed of acquisition affect their method preferences. During the course, Cookie and Friends Starter Pack was used, and it is briefly described in order for the reader to understand the research better. A number of conclusions about teaching and assessing very young learners are drawn. Ovaj rad se fokusira na metode poučavanja i procjenjivanja znanja i vještina vrlo mladih učenika stranog jezika. Promatrali smo učenike, vodili dnevnik o njihovim reakcijama i napretku tijekom nastave. Kasnije su učenici grupirani u različite grupe prema njihovoj brzini usvajanja i interesu za učenje kako bi se uvidjelo utječu li njihov interes i brzina usvajanja znanja na metode kojima su skloni. Tijekom tečaja, korišten je Cookie and Friends Starter Pack koji je kratko opisan s ciljem da čitatelj bolje razumije istraţivanje. Nekoliko zaključaka o poučavanju i procjenjivanju vrlo mladih učenika je donešeno.

It goes without saying that information technologies bring language teaching to a new dimension. Social media can provide opportunities for interaction in order to meet the demands of today's generation of students. The problem of rather rare using of play educational technologies within the system of higher education is considered in this article. Positive aspects of applying to play teaching methods of youth in high school are investigated. The question about reasons of slow implementation ofplay technologies into pedagogical process in contemporary high school is posed. The treasure of the EU are the people. Foreign language policy of European institutions plays an important role in the EU context, especially in science. A modern teacher is not only a person who conveys the knowledge, but he or she also is a facilitator and learning conditions creator. A good modern knowledge absorption process is the process where a student is more active than a teacher. Today we have a possibility to choose different programs and we use new learning and teaching methods, for example, blended learning or e-learning. Customs Training Centre is located in Vilnius and it is one of the pioneers in this area in Lithania. Innovative methods encourage active participation in a learning process. E-learning of French language helps people in their professional and social life, and encourages them to use knowledge of different subjects. The main objective of a foreign language teacher is to encourage and motivate different students. A learning and teaching process of a foreign language depends on motivation, different levels and experience, autonomy, pre-training and orientation.

Introduction: Health professionals need to develop analytic and diagnostic thinking skills and not just a mere accumulation of large amount of facts. Hence, Case Based Learning (CBL) has been used in the medical curriculum for this reason, so that the students are exposed to the real medical problems, which helps them in develop analysing abilities. This also helps them in interpreting and solving the problems and in the course of doing this, they develop interest. In addition to didactic lectures, CBL was used as a learning method. Methods: This study was conducted in the Department of Biochemistry, S.B.K.S.M.I and R.C, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth ,Piparia, Gujarat, India. A group of 100 students were selected and they were divided into two groups as the control group and the study group. El presente trabajo se orienta a la formulación de una propuesta metodológica en la enseñanza de la Geografía para estudiantes universitarios con discapacidad auditiva y visual sustentada en metodologías innovadoras. Con un grupo seleccionado de estudiantes en diversas menciones de la Escuela de Educación de la Facultad de Humanidades y Educación; esta experiencia posee carácter innovador y único, ya que la inclusión de personas con discapacidad en el ámbito universitario aspirando a obtener licenciaturas en cualquiera de las menciones existentes es bastante reciente, por ello este pudiera ser un aporte de gran importancia y utilidad para enriquecer el proceso de formación que estas personas aspiran a obtener. This paper proposes an innovative method for teaching geography to deaf-blind university students founded on innovative methodologies. A group of deaf-blind students enrolled at various undergraduate programs from the School of Humanities and Education were selected for the study. This is a unique and innovative experience since university enrollment of deaf-blind students in undergraduate programs has been quite recent, and it could be considered a useful way to enrich their learning process. The Fluid Mechanics Teaching Group of Ecole Centrale de Lyon introduced new teaching methods for the lab works of 2nd year students (eq. Master 1). Instead of a classical linear experiment on a dedicated rig, the students choose a scientific ant technical theme they illustrate on a panel of rigs and numerical simulations. During the first session, the students choose a theme and define objectives and concepts to illustrate, in conjunction with the theoretical classes. They also select appropriate experimental rigs and numerical simulations. During the next two sessions, they have to carry out the experiments and simulations, over the same configurations. Data are analyzed according to the objectives, combining experimental and numerical approaches. Finally, the work is synthesized through a report and a presentation during the last session. This talk is also a way to present the results to the other groups that studied different themes., L'Equipe d'Enseignement de Mécanique des Fluides de l'Ecole Centrale de Lyon pratique une nouvelle pédagogie pour les Travaux Pratiques dédiés aux élèves de 2ème année. Plutôt que de réaliser classiquement une expérience formatée sur une installation dédiée, les étudiants définissent eux-mêmes un thème scientifique et technique qu'ils illustrent grâce à un panel d'installations expérimentales et de simulations numériques. Lors d'une première séance, les étudiants choisissent leur thème d'étude et définissent des objectifs et des concepts à illustrer, en lien avec les enseignements théoriques dispensés. Ils identifient les installations expérimentales et les simulations utiles. Lors des deux séances intermédiaires, ils réalisent leurs expériences et des simulations numériques, menées sur les mêmes configurations. Les données traitées sont analysées en cohérence avec les objectifs prédéfinis, et en confrontant les approches numériques et expérimentales. La dernière séance est consacrée à la restitution. Un rapport écrit et un exposé oral constituent un exercice de synthèse. Par ailleurs, l'exposé oral est un vecteur de transmission des connaissances acquises, à l'adresse des étudiants ayant choisi un autre thème d'étude.

We are living in a rapidly transforming world. The event of September 11, 2001 left a mark on people all around the globe and students from all levels are searching for a deeper meaning. We cannot afford anymore to teach just our own narrow subjects and need to find ways to broaden the minds of the students and make connection with other subjects and ideas. In this paper we explore and share principles of Cognitive Ergonomics to teaching Mathematics in an undergraduate setting where students learn in a meaningful and have fun. Even though the particular subject is Mathematics, the principles can apply to any subject.

This study presents the analysis of the best practices in European Union on entrepreneurship education. The purpose of the research is to analyze the situation created at the national level in Romania and France regarding the development of entrepreneurial culture. The authors identified the measures used for developing the entrepreneurial environment at the local level, researching the legislation regarding the support of entrepreneurial environment development and the entrepreneurial culture, identifying the opportunities of the educational institutions regarding the entrepreneurial education. The objects of the research are two European universities: Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania, and the University of Strasbourg, France. The following research methods were used in the research: documentation, analysis, synthesis, comparative analysis, induction, deduction, abduction, observation. The study was realized within the project: „Reinforce entrepreneurial and digital skills of students and teachers to enhance the modernization of higher education in MOLDOVA”, no. 585353-EPP- 1-2017- 1-RO- EPPKA2-CBHE- JP. Conclusions were formulated in order to highlight the importance of international practices, applied by well-known higher education institutions with regard to the development of entrepreneurial education.

Výuka základů latinského jazyka na lékařských fakultách je většinou založena na tradiční a konzervativní metodice, která vychází z modelu prezentace komplexních paradigmat vybraného okruhu gramatických jevů, pro něž se postupně hledá uplatnění v široké oblasti lékařských termínů. V inovovaných výukových materiálech je kladen hlavní důraz na to, aby se student učil jednotlivým gramatickým jevům v přímém kontextu s jejich praktickým uplatněním. Okruhy lekcí jsou členěny tematicky – začíná se s termíny z oblasti anatomie (souběžný předmět v prvním roce studia), pokračuje se s klinickými a patologickými termíny, v závěru je plánována lekce věnovaná termínům z oblasti farmakologie a recepturní latiny. Autoři při tvorbě materiálů vycházeli ze statistických analýz frekvence výskytu gramatických i lexikálních jevů, především typických kolokací (metodami korpusové lingvistiky). Velký důraz je kladen na provázanost lekcí z hlediska četnosti použití nových slov i gramatických jevů, diferenciaci lexika dle zaměření jednotlivých oborů a pragmatičnost výuky – ve cvičeních se pracuje i s autentickými materiály (lékařské dokumenty), příp. jsou na jejich základě vytvářena. Inovace spočívá také ve větší míře variability cvičebních schémat (choice gab fill, open gab fill, true/false, matching) a ve využití doprovodného obrazového materiálu, jenž má usnadnit a upřesnit porozumění významu nejběžnějších lékařských termínů, jejich stavbě a uplatnění v náležitém kontextu. Cílovou skupinou inovací jsou studenti bakalářských oborů Lékařské fakulty Masarykovy univerzity v Brně. The article aims to introduce innovative teaching materials for medical Latin for students of undergraduate courses at Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University. The authors prepared these materials with the emphasis on teaching/learning grammatical and lexical phenomena in accordance with their common usage. They used mainly statistical analyses of grammar forms frequency and typical collocations (using the methods of corpus linguistics). Innovative materials also define the interconnection between particular lessons in terms of recurrence of new words and grammar, vocabulary differentiation according to the specialization of disciplines and teaching pragmatism; the exercises also use authentic materials). The innovation lies also in greater variability of exercise patterns and in the use of multimedia.

We introduce the design of three consecutive unit operations laboratory (UOL) courses that retain the academic rigor of the course while incorporating skills essential for professional careers, such as ability to propose ideas, develop practical solutions, participate in teamwork, meet deadlines, establish communication between technical support and suppliers and oversee financial issues. We follow up the course outcomes with a survey targeting the graduates of the program. The results show that the implementation of these skills varies across post-graduate careers, highlighting the need for adaptive approaches for different graduate trajectories in designing the course.
