Many social marketing systems use decision-making strategies for implementing product dominance analysis. The objective of the proposed work is to classify on-time issues in observing highly preferable market products, which is newer in online market places. Existing researches are interested to be useful for customers to identify the best possible products groups from the vast product details. To deal with this main objective, different types of product instances are reviewed. In this case, the price of popular products and the product groups are evaluated. This proposed system analyses the need for online market growth using novel skyline query analysis. The proposed system monitor user-based ratings affect the sales of various products. After finding the desirable products, the market prices are predicted. Once products are predicted, the new packages are assigned with optimal prices and added to the package database. Moreover, the proposed Skyline Query Optimization and Security Management System (SQOSMS) approach is focused on authorized user ratings and ensures they are more secured. The review system validates each and every user identities with the user activities involved with in review system. This is considered as major objective of this proposed system. The implementation section shows that the proposed system provides 10–15% of reduced movie lists than other systems. Regularly the scam threat entails intended scams performed for gaining profits and the goal is to focus on this domain of services aiding payments with the electronic money. The assessment variations from the specified performance required for abnormalities representing probable mishandling of the services in terms of money laundering behaviours. Background: Limited information is available for patients with breast cancer (BC) and coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), especially among underrepresented racial/ethnic populations. Methods: This is a COVID-19 and Cancer Consortium (CCC19) registry-based retrospective cohort study of females with active or history of BC and laboratory-confirmed severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection diagnosed between March 2020 and June 2021 in the US. Primary outcome was COVID-19 severity measured on a five-level ordinal scale, including none of the following complications, hospitalization, intensive care unit admission, mechanical ventilation, and all-cause mortality. Multivariable ordinal logistic regression model identified characteristics associated with COVID-19 severity. Results: 1383 female patient records with BC and COVID-19 were included in the analysis, the median age was 61 years, and median follow-up was 90 days. Multivariable analysis revealed higher odds of COVID-19 severity for older age (aOR per decade, 1.48 [95% CI, 1.32–1.67]); Black patients (aOR 1.74; 95 CI 1.24–2.45), Asian Americans and Pacific Islander patients (aOR 3.40; 95 CI 1.70–6.79) and Other (aOR 2.97; 95 CI 1.71–5.17) racial/ethnic groups; worse ECOG performance status (ECOG PS ≥2: aOR, 7.78 [95% CI, 4.83–12.5]); pre-existing cardiovascular (aOR, 2.26 [95% CI, 1.63–3.15])/pulmonary comorbidities (aOR, 1.65 [95% CI, 1.20–2.29]); diabetes mellitus (aOR, 2.25 [95% CI, 1.66–3.04]); and active and progressing cancer (aOR, 12.5 [95% CI, 6.89–22.6]). Hispanic ethnicity, timing, and type of anti-cancer therapy modalities were not significantly associated with worse COVID-19 outcomes. The total all-cause mortality and hospitalization rate for the entire cohort was 9% and 37%, respectively however, it varied according to the BC disease status. Conclusions: Using one of the largest registries on cancer and COVID-19, we identified patient and BC-related factors associated with worse COVID-19 outcomes. After adjusting for baseline characteristics, underrepresented racial/ethnic patients experienced worse outcomes compared to non-Hispanic White patients. Abstract Due to relatively high nonrelapse mortality (NRM), allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo‐HSCT) in non‐Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) remains the ultimate line of treatment but the only curable approach in a setting of relapse/refractory disease. Here, we conducted a retrospective, multicenter, registry‐based analysis on patients who underwent allo‐HSCT for NHL in Switzerland, over 30‐year (1985–2020) period. The study included 301 allo‐HSCTs performed for NHL patients in three University Hospitals of Switzerland (Zurich, Basel and Geneva) 09/1985 to 05/2020. We assessed in univariate and multivariable analysis the impact on survivals (overall survival [OS], relapse free survival [RFS], relapse incidence [RI], and non‐treatment related mortality [NRM]). The maximum follow‐up was 25 years with median follow‐up for alive patients of 61 months. The median age at allo‐HSCT was 51 years. Three‐ and ‐year OS was ‐ 59.5% and 55.4%; 3‐ and 5‐year PFS was 50% and 44%; 3‐ and 5‐year NRM was 21.7% and 23.6%. RI at 3 and 5 years was 27.4% and 34.9%. In conclusion, our analysis of the entire Swiss experience of allo‐HSCT in patients with NHL shows promising 5‐ and possibly 10‐year OS and relatively acceptable NRM rates for such population, the majority being not in complete remission (CR) at the time of transplantation.

Abstract Despite the high cure rate with initial therapy, approximately 10% of Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) patients are refractory to initial treatment, and up to 30% of patients will relapse after achieving initial complete remission. Despite promising initial results of treatment by immune checkpoint inhibitors, most patients will eventually progress. We analyzed 62 adult patients with relapsed or refractory HL (rrHL) treated by allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo‐HSCT) in one of three University Hospitals of Switzerland (Zurich, Basel, and Geneva) between May 2001 and January 2020. The primary endpoint was overall survival (OS). Secondary endpoints were relapse‐free survival (RFS), non‐relapse mortality (NRM), and relapse incidence, which were assessed in univariate analysis. The median follow‐up was 61 months (interquartile range 59–139). The 2‐ and 5‐year OS was 54% (standard error (SE) ±12) and 50.2% (SE ±13.3), respectively, and the 2‐ and 5‐year RFS was 40.7% (SE ±16.3) and 34.4% (SE ±19.0), respectively. NRM was 23.1% (SE ±2.2) and 27.4% (SE ±2.5) at 2 and 5 years, respectively. The cumulative incidence of relapse was 36.1% (SE ±5.6) at 2 years and 38.2% (SE ±6.6) at 5 years. Our analysis of allo‐HSCT outcomes in the context of rrHL shows encouraging OS and RFS rates, with the mortality rate reaching plateau at 50% at 2 years after allo‐HSCT. This confirms that allo‐HSCT still remains as a potentially curative option for half of patients with rrHL.

Chronic occult aspiration is the chronic aspiration of small volumes of oral and gastric contents into the lung. This is also termed as chronic microaspiration. It can lead to symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease and later lung involvement. This process is less familiar than the acute aspiration syndromes. Here, we present the case of an elderly male patient having diffuse esophageal spasm manifesting as recurrent chest pain and interstitial lung disease.

Signet-ring cell adenocarcinomas (SRCCs) are rare tumors that most commonly originate from the stomach, colon, or breast. Lung as a site of the primary signet-ring variant of adenocarcinoma is extremely uncommon. Primary SRCC of the lung is a highly aggressive variant of adenocarcinoma with characteristic clinicopathological features. Here, we present a case of a young female with a rapidly progressive tumor in the left lung with metastasis to the pleura, pericardium, and lymph nodes having a histopathological proof of primary adenocarcinoma with signet-ring features.

Abstract Conventional nitrogen removal in wastewater treatment requires a high oxygen and energy input. Anaerobic ammonium oxidation (anammox), the single-step conversion of ammonium and nitrite to nitrogen gas, is a more energy and cost effective alternative applied extensively to sidestream wastewater treatment. It would also be a mainstream treatment option if species diversity and physiology were better understood. Anammox bacteria were enriched up to 80%, 90% and 50% relative abundance, from a single inoculum, under standard enrichment conditions with either stepwise-nitrite and ammonia concentration increases (R1), nitric oxide supplementation (R2), or complex organic carbon from mainstream wastewater (R3), respectively. Candidatus Brocadia caroliniensis predominated in all reactors, but a shift towards Ca. Brocadia sinica occurred at ammonium and nitrite concentrations > 270 mg NH4–N L−1 and 340 mg NO2–N L−1 respectively. With NO present, heterotrophic growth was inhibited, and Ca. Jettenia coexisted with Ca. B. caroliniensis before diminishing as nitrite increased to 160 mg NO2–N L−1. Organic carbon supplementation led to the emergence of heterotrophic communities that coevolved with Ca. B. caroliniensis. Ca. B. caroliniensis and Ca. Jettenia preferentially formed biofilms on surfaces, whereas Ca. Brocadia sinica formed granules in suspension. Our results indicate that multiple anammox bacteria species co-exist and occupy sub-niches in anammox reactors, and that the dominant population can be reversibly shifted by, for example, changing nitrogen load (i.e. high nitrite concentration favors Ca. Brocadia caroliniensis). Speciation has implications for wastewater process design, where the optimum cell immobilization strategy (i.e. carriers vs granules) depends on which species dominates.

Various researches have been performed with video abstraction with the constant development of multimedia technology. However, there are some deficiencies that have been encountered in the pre-processing of video frames before attaining classified video archives. To overcome the drawbacks in pre-processing, feature extraction and classification approaches are considered. Here, video indexing has been anticipated with several features' extraction with dominant frame generation for the input video frame. Fuzzy-based SVM classifier is utilized to categorize frame set into dominant structures. Multi-dimensional Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) and colour feature extraction are used to extract texture features from the video frame. Using the frame sequence, the vector space of structures is captured; dominant frameworks are utilized in video indexing. Shot transitions' classification is done with a fuzzy system. Experimental outcomes demonstrate that shot boundary detection accuracy increases with an increase in iterations. The simulation was carried out in MATLAB environment. This technique attains an accuracy of about 95.4%, the precision of 100%, and the F1 score of 100% and a recall of 100%. The misclassification rate is 4.6%. In this paper, we show that when nanoparticles of Fe3O4 are coated with gold there is a distinct enhancement of magnetization by a factor of six. This increase of magnetization has been attributed to large orbital magnetic moment formation at the magnetic particle/Au (core/shell) interface. Our theoretical analysis indicates that the enhanced magnetism observed in Fe3O4-Au (core-shell) nanoparticles is an interfacial effect. The origin of magnetism in Au as an interfacial phenomenon is supported by the observation of positive magnetization in citrate coated gold nanoparticles. In citrate coated gold nanoparticles, we observe a crossover from positive magnetization value to negative magnetization value upon increasing magnetic field indicating cancellation of interfacial magnetization by the diamagnetic contribution from the bulk. We propose a theoretical formalism which semi-quantitatively explains our experimental results and supports the origin of magnetization in Au as an interfacial effect. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We present in this paper the changes in the room temperature magnetic property of ZnO on Mn doping prepared using solvothermal process. The zero field cooled (ZFC) and field cooled (FC) magnetization of undoped ZnO showed bifurcation and magnetic hysteresis at room temperature. Upon Mn doping the magnetic hysteresis at room temperature and the bifurcation in ZFC-FC magnetization vanish. The results seem to indicate that undoped ZnO is ferromagnetic while on the other hand the Mn doped ZnO is not a ferromagnetic system. We observe that on addition of Mn atoms the system shows antiferromagnetism with very giant magnetic moments. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Veratryl alcohol (VA) is preferentially oxidized to veratraldehyde (VADE) using a heterogeneous catalyst, which is more favoured in industries. Commercial mordenite (Ca,Na 2 ,K 2) Al 2 Si 10 O 24 ·7H 2 O) was desilicated with NaOH and loaded with nickel and iron bimetal by the wet impregnation method. The synthesised Mordenite-Fe(5 %)/Ni(5–20 %) bimetallic catalyst, possessing active Bronsted acid sites, was employed to selectively oxidize the veratryl alcohol reaction. FT-IR, XRD, BET, HR-SEM, HR-TEM, and TPD were employed to determine the catalyst's textural attributes, morphology, chemical properties, and stability. Selective oxidation was performed over the catalysts using TBHP as an oxidant in a continuous reactor. To examine the most active catalyst among the four and to maximise the conversion and yield, the reaction conditions are optimised for various reaction parameters The reaction conditions were optimized by attaining 100 % conversion at temperature (90° C) for time (2 hr) and a maximum conversion of 97 % and a selectivity of 99 % at 10 bar pressure, WHSV (1.0 h−1) with acetonitrile solvent. The result of the study display that Fe (5 %) and Ni(15 %) impregnated on mordenite exhibits excellent catalytic stability with conversion (100 %) and selectivity (99 %) among the other catalysts. During regeneration, the conversion rate declined from 99.5 to 92.4.7 % and selectivity declined from 100 % to 96.2 % at the end of the seventh cycle. The high selectivity and stability of MOR-Fe(5 %)/Ni(15 %) imply that they might function properly as appropriate catalysts for the oxidation of aromatic alcohols. Changes in the microstructure has been assessed using detail X-ray diffraction line profile analysis in terms of the coherent domain size, rms micro-strain, dislocation density, their nature and their arrangement etc., revealing the importance of pre-deformation in controlling the material response to irradiation. The results are supported by Electron back scattered diffraction and Transmission electron microscopy. Energy Dispersive X-ray analysis has been used to map the micro-chemical changes caused in the sample due to the ion irradiation. Vicker's micro-hardness values were determined to understand the effect of irradiation on the mechanical property of the alloy. The textile processing and finishing industry is the mainstay for the apparel segment. The textile processing and finishing industry consume an enormous amount of chemicals and release harmful substances to the environment. Therefore rethinking and refinement of the practice adopted and the techniques involved in processing and finishing are very much significant. The consciousness toward environmental protection, pollution control, and user-friendliness are the reasons for emerging trends with sustainable concepts where natural materials, plant ingredients, plant extracts can be used for textile finishing. This review paper discusses the exploratory qualitative study about the natural ingredients, extraction processes, finishing on textiles for various applications, its effects, and results. The applications of textile finishing processes covered in this article are fragrance finish, bio-polishing, bio-stone washing, insect repellent, and UV protection. This article also deals with the various methods of finishing textiles using natural products such as pad-dry-cure, microencapsulation, exhaust method, spraying technique, etc., and its implications. The finishing process using natural products has obtained satisfactory results with various tests for analyzing the properties of textiles after finishing. The critical analysis of this article has revealed that the textile finishing process using natural products seem to be economical, sustainable, have control over environmental and health hazard.

Rapid and efficient communication regarding quickly evolving medical information was paramount for healthcare providers and patients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the last several years, social media platforms such as Twitter have emerged as important tools for health promotion, virtual learning among healthcare providers, and patient support. We conducted a qualitative thematic content analysis on tweets using the hashtags #BreastSurgery, #BreastCancer, #BreastOncology, #Pandemic, and #COVID19. Advocacy organizations were the most frequent authors of tweets captured in this dataset, and most tweets came from the United States of America (64%). Seventy-three codes were generated from the data, and, through iterative, inductive analysis, three major themes were developed: patient hesitancy and vulnerability, increased efforts in knowledge sharing, and evolving best practices. We found that Twitter was an effective way to share evolving best practices, education, and collective experiences among key stakeholders. As Twitter is increasingly used as a tool for health promotion and knowledge translation, a better understanding of how key stakeholders engage with healthcare-related topics on the platform can help optimize the use of this powerful tool.

Background: Data regarding outcomes among patients with cancer and co-morbid cardiovascular disease (CVD)/cardiovascular risk factors (CVRF) after SARS-CoV-2 infection are limited. Objectives: To compare Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) related complications among cancer patients with and without co-morbid CVD/CVRF. Methods: Retrospective cohort study of patients with cancer and laboratory-confirmed SARS-CoV-2, reported to the COVID-19 and Cancer Consortium (CCC19) registry from 03/17/2020 to 12/31/2021. CVD/CVRF was defined as established CVD or no established CVD, male ≥ 55 or female ≥ 60 years, and one additional CVRF. The primary endpoint was an ordinal COVID-19 severity outcome including need for hospitalization, supplemental oxygen, intensive care unit (ICU), mechanical ventilation, ICU or mechanical ventilation plus vasopressors, and death. Secondary endpoints included incident adverse CV events. Ordinal logistic regression models estimated associations of CVD/CVRF with COVID-19 severity. Effect modification by recent cancer therapy was evaluated. Results: Among 10,876 SARS-CoV-2 infected patients with cancer (median age 65 [IQR 54–74] years, 53% female, 52% White), 6253 patients (57%) had co-morbid CVD/CVRF. Summary: T cell responses precede antibody and may provide early control of infection. We analyzed the clonal basis of this rapid response following SARS-COV-2 infection. We applied T cell receptor (TCR) sequencing to define the trajectories of individual T cell clones immediately. In SARS-COV-2 PCR+ individuals, a wave of TCRs strongly but transiently expand, frequently peaking the same week as the first positive PCR test. These expanding TCR CDR3s were enriched for sequences functionally annotated as SARS-COV-2 specific. Epitopes recognized by the expanding TCRs were highly conserved between SARS-COV-2 strains but not with circulating human coronaviruses. Many expanding CDR3s were present at high frequency in pre-pandemic repertoires. Early response TCRs specific for lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus epitopes were also found at high frequency in the preinfection naive repertoire. High-frequency naive precursors may allow the T cell response to respond rapidly during the crucial early phases of acute viral infection.

New control measures are urgently required to control tuberculosis (TB), as the current vaccine, Bacille Calmette–Guérin (BCG), has had a limited impact on disease spread. The identification of virulence mechanisms of Mycobacterium tuberculosis is an important strategy in vaccine design, as it permits the development of strains attenuated for growth that may have vaccine potential. In this report, we determined the role of the PdtaS response regulator in M. tuberculosis virulence and defined the vaccine potential of a pdtaS-deficient strain. Deletion of pdtaS (MtbΔpdtaS) resulted in reduced persistence of M. tuberculosis within mouse organs, which was equivalent to the persistence of the BCG vaccine in the lung and liver of infected mice. However, the generation of effector CD4+ and CD8+ T cells (CD44+CD62LloKLRG1+) was similar between wild-type M. tuberculosis and MtbΔpdtaS and greater than that elicited by BCG. Heightened immunity induced by MtbΔpdtaS compared to BCG was also observed by analysis of antigen-specific IFN-γ-secreting T cell responses induced by vaccination. MtbΔpdtaS displayed improved protection against aerosol M. tuberculosis compared to BCG, which was most apparent in the lung at 20 weeks post-infection. These results suggest that the deletion of the PdtaS response regulator warrants further appraisal as a tool to combat TB in humans.

Idiopathic intussusception is the most common form of intussusception in infants and young children. In older children and adults, intussusception being rare, the lead point is usually an underlying bowel pathology (Meckel's diverticulum, hemangioma, carcinoids, polyps, submucous lipomas, etc.) and these are called pathological lead points (PLP's). The management of an obese child with recurrent abdominal pain for over 2 years, diagnosed with ileo-ileal intussusception due to submucosal lipoma is reported here.
