CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior A urbanização causa uma substituição da vegetação natural para abrir espaço para o crescimento das cidades, provocando mudanças abióticas e bióticas locais que afetam a qualidade de vida das populações. Essas mudanças desencadeiam respostas nos diferentes grupos animais, mas especialmente sobre as aves em virtude da alta sensibilidade que esses animais apresentam às modificações antrópicas. Em contrapartida, a presença das áreas verdes na paisagem urbana surge para contribuir com a conservação da biodiversidade, a partir do estabelecimento dos parques urbanos, praças, jardins, gramados, avenidas arborizadas e matas ciliares. Para este estudo, analisamos o efeito da riqueza, abundância e composição florística e fatores abióticos sobre a comunidade de aves em fragmentos de mata ciliar que passaram por restauração ecológica. Testamos assim, as hipóteses de que (i) a riqueza, abundância e composição de aves estão positivamente correlacionadas com uma maior riqueza, abundância e composição florística de espécies de plantas nativas e zoocóricas; (ii) os fatores abióticos tem impactos sazonais nessas relações. O estudo foi realizado entre os meses de janeiro a outubro de 2019, nos períodos da manhã e tarde. Foram estabelecidos oito transectos de 100 m cada, com distância entre si de 200 m, para amostrar a avifauna presente em duas áreas, Praia Clube e Parque Linear Rio Uberabinha. Os resultados mostraram que a riqueza de aves não diferiu significativamente entre as áreas, mas a abundância e composição variaram significativamente entre as áreas em função da comunidade vegetal, corroborando parcialmente nossa primeira hipótese. As guildas tróficas mais representativas foram as insetívoras, onívoras e granívoras. Os fatores abióticos mostraram influenciar significativamente apenas na composição de aves quando foi considerado a interação da estação com a área, corroborando parcialmente a segunda hipótese. As interações das aves com as espécies vegetais mostraram um maior consumo por espécies nativas regionais e nativas não regionais por frugívoros da família dos psitacídeos. Nessa perspectiva, o planejamento e gestão da implementação das áreas verdes são importantes em ambientes onde há predominância de espécies generalistas e sinantrópicas. Considerando que muitas espécies são dependentes de ambientes mais específicos, como os de mata ciliar e que algumas espécies vegetais dessas áreas são importantes para espécies de aves mais especializadas, a restauração em áreas degradadas deve ser planejada pensando no processo final de resgatar interações e conservar a biodiversidade. Urbanization causes a replacement of natural vegetation to make room for the growth of cities, influencing local abiotic and biotic changes that affect the quality of life of populations. These changes trigger responses in different animal groups, but especially about birds due to their high sensitivity to anthropogenic changes. In contrast, the presence of green areas in the urban landscape emerges to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity through the establishment of urban parks, squares, gardens, lawns, wooded avenues and riparian forests. For this study, we analyzed the effect of richness, abundance and floristic composition and abiotic factors on the bird community in riparian forest fragments that underwent ecological restoration. We tested the hypothesis that (i) bird richness, abundance and composition are positively correlated with higher richness, abundance and floristic composition of native and zoochoric species; (ii) abiotic factors have seasonal impacts on these relationships. The study was conducted from January to October 2019, in the morning and afternoon. Eight transects of 100 m each, with a distance of 200 m each, were established to sample the birdlife presence in two areas, Praia Clube and Parque Linear Rio Uberabinha. Our results showed that bird richness did not differ significantly between areas, but abundance and composition varied significantly between areas as a function of plant community, partially corroborating our first hypothesis. The most representative trophic guilds were insectivorous, omnivorous and granivorous. The abiotic factors showed significant influence only on the composition of birds when considering the interaction of the season with the area, partially corroborating the second hypothesis. The interactions of birds with plant species showed a higher consumption by native regional and non-regional native species by frugivores of the piscitacidae family. From this perspective, planning and management of the implementation of green areas are important in environments where there is a predominance of generalist and synanthropic species. Considering that many species are dependent on more specific environments such as riparian forests and that some plant species in these areas are important for more specialized bird species, restoration in degraded areas should be planned with the final process of rescuing interactions and conserving the species biodiversity.
