There are many children who live in situations of social vulnerability today in Brazil, and, consequently, their Right to the City, understood as a social right, has been violated. This scenario demonstrates the importance of  interdisciplinary practice  to minimize inequalities and guarantee the rights of this population through diverse knowledge. This research aims to analyze the perceptions of socially vulnerable children who are assisteed by the  basic social protection service in Brazil about the city and territory in which they live. A qualitative methodology was used, through “activity workshops”,  technique  of Occupational Therapy in the social area. Social Brazilian Occupational Therapy has consolidated work with populations in situations of social vulnerability, including  using territorial by children  in order to  increase autonomy and social participation of individuals  and collectives. As  finds, the research showed the limited use of the territory by children, due to social, economic and spatial obstacles. This demonstrates the need for services, such as social assistance, to guarantee and reflect on the importance of the rights and use of cities and public spaces for children., Son muchos los niños que viven hoy en situaciones de vulnerabilidad social en Brasil y, en consecuencia, su Derecho a la Ciudad, entendido como un derecho social, ha sido violado. Este escenario demuestra la importancia del trabajo interdisciplinario en la búsqueda de minimizar las desigualdades y garantizar los derechos de esta población a través de conocimientos diversos. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar las percepciones de niños socialmente vulnerables que asisten a un servicio básico de protección social en Brasil sobre la ciudad y el territorio en el que viven. Se utilizó una metodología cualitativa, a través de “talleres de actividades”, técnica de investigación e intervención específica de la Terapia Ocupacional en el área social. La Terapia Social Ocupacional ha consolidado el trabajo con poblaciones en situación de vulnerabilidad social, incluyendo el trabajo con niños utilizando acciones territoriales como forma de buscar la autonomía y la participación social de sujetos y colectivos. Como resultado, la investigación mostró el uso limitado del territorio por parte de los niños, quienes tienen cruces sociales, económicos y espaciales por este factor. Esto demuestra la necesidad de que los servicios de asistencia social garanticen y reflexionen sobre la importancia del derecho y uso de las ciudades y los espacios públicos para los niños., São muitas as crianças que vivem em situação de vulnerabilidade social hoje no Brasil, e, consequentemente, têm o Direito à Cidade, entendido como um direito social, violado. In January 2023 the national harvester for The Netherlands (Narcis) announced to stop their services within a few months, leaving The Netherlands without a central portal for their scholarly output. Even though the content of the larger repositories may be well indexed in scholarly search engines, the national portal was important for the visibility of Dutch research output for several reasons. First, the content was not limited to major universities; smaller research organizations and universities were connected and delivered unique materials (e.g. research reports). Second, the audience of Narcis is not just academics: due to its focus on national output and added value such as the experts guide, it was a source of knowledge for journalists, companies and policy makers that are less likely to use scholarly search engines. Third, the content was not limited to publications, but also covered datasets, software and funding information and connected these items through a PID-graph. A taskforce was created to quickly prevent the loss of visibility of the national output. By setting clear goals, monitoring and having a good collaboration with OpenAIRE, a new research portal based on OpenAIRE CONNECT and a Monitor dashboard were set up before July: the Netherlands Research Portal.

OBJECTIVE: To assess the effectiveness of the Cultural, Social and Emotional Wellbeing Program for reducing psychological distress and enhancing the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal women preparing for release from prison. STUDY DESIGN: Mixed methods; qualitative study (adapted reflexive thematic analysis of stories of most significant change) and assessment of psychological distress. SETTING, PARTICIPANTS: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women at the Boronia Pre-release Centre for Women, Perth, Western Australia, May and July 2021. INTERVENTION: Cultural, Social and Emotional Wellbeing Program (two days per week for six weeks). The Program involves presentations, workshops, activities, group discussions, and self-reflections designed to enhance social and emotional wellbeing. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Themes and subthemes identified from reflexive thematic analysis of participants' stories of most significant change; change in mean psychological distress, as assessed with the 5-item Kessler Scale (K-5) before and after the Program. RESULTS: Fourteen of 16 invited women completed the Program; ten participated in its evaluation. They reported improved social and emotional wellbeing, reflected as enhanced connections to culture, family, and community. Mean psychological distress was lower after the Program (mean K-5 score, 11.3; 95% confidence interval [CI], 9.0-13.6) than before the Program (9.0; 95% CI, 6.5-11.5; P = 0.047). CONCLUSION: The women who participated in the Program reported personal growth, including acceptance of self and acceptance and pride in culture, reflecting enhanced social and emotional wellbeing through connections to culture and kinship. Our preliminary findings suggest that the Program could improve the resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander in contact with the justice system.

This research was supported by The FH Dean’s Reserve for International Research Collaboration, Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Grant number 1-ZVB34)., This paper reports on a crosslinguistic corpus-based investigation of linguistic strategies of quoting and reporting of speech and thought across six genetically unrelated languages (Arabic, English, Dagaare, Hindi, Spanish and Japanese). Specifically, the study draws on Michael Halliday's concept of projection that covers the traditional categories of quoting and reporting as a type of logico-semantic relation. The study also examines projection 'trinocularly', by viewing quoting and reporting from three viewpoints, namely their semantics, their lexicogrammatical realisations and the structural configuration they display. The use of projection as a unified domain of inquiry and the trinocular perspective ensures a systematic accounting of the generality and specificity of projection across the languages. Section 1 specifies our investigation, relating it to the traditional account of quoting and reporting. Section 2 describes our corpus data. Section 3 introduces the theoretical and descriptive categories used to describe verbal and mental projection as a type of logico-semantic relation, using English for illustration. Section 4 examines data from each language in question.
