Li5La3Ta2O12:Mn4+ (LLTO:Mn4+) phosphors are prepared in air via high‐temperature solid‐state method and investigated for their crystal structures and luminescence properties. LLTO:Mn4+ phosphor under excitation at 314 nm shows deep‐red emission peaking at 714 nm due to the 2E→4A2 transition of Mn4+ ion. The excitation bands in the range 220 ‐ 570 nm are attributed to the Mn4+ ‐ O2‐ charge‐transfer band and the 4A2g→4T1g, 2T2g, and 4T2g transitions of Mn4+, respectively. The optimal Mn4+ ion concentration is ~0.4 mol%. The concentration quenching mechanism in LLTO:Mn4+ phosphor is electric dipole‐dipole interaction. The luminous mechanism and temperature quenching phenomenon are explained by the Tanabe‐Sugano energy level diagram and the configurational coordinate diagram of Mn4+ in the octahedron, respectively. The experimental results indicate that LLTO:Mn4+ phosphor has a potential application prospect as candidate of deep‐red component in light‐emitting diode (LED) lighting. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A deep-red-emitting Na1.57Zn0.57Al10.43O17:Mn4+ (NZAO:Mn4+) phosphor has been synthesized by high-temperature solid-state reaction method in air. X-ray diffraction patterns confirmed only one pure phase (NZAO) in the NZAO:Mn4+ phosphor. The excitation spectrum of NZAO:Mn4+ phosphor monitored at 695 nm covered the region from 220 nm to 600 nm. Under excitation at 300 nm, NZAO:Mn4+ phosphor showed deep-red emission due to the 2E → 4A2 transition of Mn4+ ion with the lattice vibrations. In NZAO:Mn4+ phosphor, the optimal Mn4+ content is ~ 1.0%. The lifetime of NZAO:1%Mn4+ phosphor is ~ 0.47 ms. The effect of the crystal field on the luminescence properties of Mn4+ ion and the luminous mechanism are explained based on the Tanabe-Sugano diagram of Mn4+ ion in an octahedral symmetry environment. A series of MgTiO3:Mn4+, MgTiO3:Mn4+, Ge4+, and MgTiO3:Mn4+, B3+ phosphors are prepared by the high temperature solid-state reaction method in air. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) patterns confirm that there is only pure phase in all samples. The samples are composed of microparticles with irregular shapes. Their excitation spectra monitored at 658 nm may be observed in the range of 200-600 nm and their emission spectra with excitation at 330 nm cover the region from 600 to 800 nm due to the 2E → 4A2 transition of Mn4+ ion. The chromaticity coordinate is (0.7233, 0.2767). The optimal Mn4+ content is ~ 0.3% in MgTiO3:Mn4+ phosphor. The luminescence intensity and quantum efficiency of MgTiO3:Mn4+ phosphor may be obviously improved by adding Ge4+ ion and H3BO3. CaSnO3:Bi3+ blue-emitting phosphor was synthesized using a high-temperature solid-state reaction method in air. The crystal structures and luminescence properties were investigated. A broad emission band peaking at ~448 nm upon excitation at 262 and 308 nm was observed in the range 330-680 nm at room temperature due to 3P1 → 1S0 transition of the Bi3+ ion. The chromaticity coordinate was (0.1786, 0.1665). The optimal Bi3+ ion concentration was ~0.6 mol% in CaSnO3:Bi3+ phosphor. The emission spectrum of CaSnO3:Bi3+ phosphor showed a blue-shift with increasing temperature from 50 to 300 K due to the influence of temperature on the electron transition of the Bi3+ ion. The emission intensity of CaSnO3:Bi3+ phosphor may be increased ~1.45 times by co-doping Li+ ions as a charge compensator and fluxing agent. A series of Sr1-x-yCayMoO4:xSm3+ (0 ≤ x ≤ 7 mol% and 0 ≤ y < 1) phosphors was synthesized by a conventional solid-state reaction method in air, and their structural and spectroscopic properties were investigated. The optimal doping concentration of Sm3+ in SrMoO4:Sm3+ phosphor is 5 mol%. Under excitation with 275 nm, in Sr1-x-yCayMoO4:xSm3+ (0 ≤ x ≤ 7 mol% and 0 ≤ y < 1) phosphors, the emission band of the host was found to overlap with the excitation bands peaking at ~500 nm of Sm3+ ion, and the energy transfer from MoO42− group to Sm3+ ion can also be observed. The International Commission on Illumination (CIE) chromaticity coordinates of Sr0.95-yCayMoO4:0.05Sm3+ phosphors with excitation 275 nm varied systematically from an orange (0.4961, 0.3761) (y = 0) to a white color (0.33, 0.3442) (y = 0.95) with increasing calcium oxide (CaO) concentration. However, Sr0.95-yCayMoO4:0.05Sm3+ phosphors with excitation at 404 nm only showed red emission and the energy transfer between MoO42− group to Sm3+ ion was not observed. LaBMoO6:Dy3+ phosphor is successfully synthesized in the air by the solid-state reaction method. The luminescence properties and crystal structures are researched. LaBMoO6:Dy3+ phosphor with excitation at 388, 398, 426, and 451 nm emits yellow light. The emission spectrum of LaBMoO6:Dy3+ phosphor in the range of 450–780 nm contains four emission bands peaking at ~ 480, 570, 658, and 750 nm because of the 4F9/2 → 6H15/2, 6H13/2, 6H11/2, and 6H9/2 transitions of Dy3+ ion, respectively. The optimal Dy3+ ion concentration is ~ 6 mol% in LaBMoO6:Dy3+ phosphor. The lifetime of LaBMoO6:Dy3+ phosphor decreases from 0.467 to 0.279 ms with increasing Dy3+ ion concentration from 2 to 10 mol%. The energy-level diagram of Dy3+ ion is used to explain the luminous mechanism of LaBMoO6:Dy3+ phosphor. Abstract: La2BaZnO5:Nd3+ phosphors are synthesized by a conventional high temperature solid state reaction method, and its crystal structure and luminescence properties are investigated. Photoluminescence bands peaking at ~496, 540, 630, 670, 905, 1070, and 1350nm of La2BaZnO5:Nd3+ phosphors are observed at room temperature due to f–f transition of Nd3+ ion. The optimum Nd3+ doped concentration is ~0.03. Lifetimes of La1.97BaZnO5:0.03Nd3+ phosphor with 496 and 1070nm monitoring wavelengths are ~280 and 250µs, respectively. The luminescence mechanism is explained by using simplified energy lever diagram of Nd3+ ion. La2BaZnO5:Nd3+ material can be applied to powerful solid-state lasers as high efficient light sources. Purpose: The increasing multi-drug resistance (MDR) is a serious threat to human health. The appropriate use of antibiotics can control the progression of MDR and clinical pharmacists play an important role in the rational use of antibiotics. There are many factors that influence the effectiveness of multi-drug resistant organisms (MDRO) infection consultations. The study aimed to establish a model to predict the outcome of consultation and explore ways to improve clinical pharmacy services., Patients and Methods: Patients diagnosed with MDRO infection and consulted by clinical pharmacists were included. Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to identify independent risk factors for MDRO infection consultation effectiveness, and then a nomogram was constructed and validated., Results: 198 patients were finally included. The number of underlying diseases (OR=1.720, 95% CI: 1.260-2.348), whether surgery was performed prior to infection (OR=8.853, 95% CI: 2.668-29.373), ALB level (OR=0.885, 95% CI: 0.805~0.974), pharmacist title (OR=3.463, 95% CI: 1.277~9.396) and whether the recommendation was taken up (OR=0.117, 95% CI: 0.030~0.462) were identified as independent influences on the effectiveness of the consultation. The nomogram prediction model was successfully constructed and the AUC of the training set and the verification set were 0.849 (95% CI: 0.780-0.917) and 0.761 (95% CI: 0.616-0.907) respectively. The Fusarium head blight (FHB) caused by Fusarium graminearum is a serious fungal disease that can dramatically impact wheat production. At present, control is mainly achieved by the use of chemical fungicides. Hexaconazole (IUPAC name: 2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-1-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)hexan-2-ol) is a widely used triazole fungicide, but the sensitivity of F. graminearum to this compound has yet to be established. The current study found that the EC50 values of 83 field isolates of F. graminearum ranged between 0.06 and 4.33 μg/mL, with an average EC50 of 0.78 μg/mL. Assessment of four hexaconazole-resistant laboratory mutants of F. graminearum revealed that their mycelial growth, and pathogenicity were reduced compared to their parental isolates, and that asexual reproduction was reduced by resistance to hexaconazole. Meanwhile, the mutants appeared to be more sensitive to abiotic stress associated with SDS, and H2O2, while their tolerance of high concentration of Congo red, and Na+ and K+ increased. Molecular analysis revealed numerous point mutations in the FgCYP51 target genes that resulted in amino acid substitutions, including L92P and N123S in FgCYP51A, as well as M331V, F62L, Q252R, A412V, and V488A in FgCYP51B, and S28L, S256A, V307A, D287G and R515I in FgCYP51C, three of which (S28L, S256A, and V307A) were conserved in all of the resistant mutants. Furthermore, the expression of the FgCYP51 genes in resistant strains was found to be significantly (p < 0.05) reduced compared to their sensitive parental isolates. Positive cross-resistance was found between hexaconazole and metconazole and flutriafol, as well as with the diarylamine fungicide fluazinam, but not with propiconazole, and the phenylpyrrole fungicide fludioxonil, or with tebuconazole, which actually exhibited negative cross-resistance. These results provide valuable insight into resistant mechanisms to triazole fungicides in F. graminearum, as well as the appropriate selection of fungicide combinations for the control of FHB to ensure optimal wheat production.

The temperature-dependent kinetic parameters, branching fractions, and chaperone effects of the self- and cross-reactions between acetonyl peroxy (CH 3 C(O)CH 2 O 2 ) and hydro peroxy (HO 2 ) have been studied using pulsed laser photolysis coupled with infrared (IR) wavelength-modulation spectroscopy and ultraviolet absorption (UVA) spectroscopy. Two IR lasers simultaneously monitored HO 2 and hydroxyl (OH), while UVA measurements monitored CH 3 C(O)CH 2 O 2 . For the CH 3 C(O)CH 2 O 2 self-reaction ( T = 270-330 K), the rate parameters were determined to be A = (1.5 -0.3 +0.4 ) × 10 -13 and E a / R = -996 ± 334 K and the branching fraction to the alkoxy channel, k 2b / k 2 , showed an inverse temperature dependence following the expression, k 2b / k 2 = (2.27 ± 0.62) - [(6.35 ± 2.06) × 10 -3 ] T (K). For the reaction between CH 3 C(O)CH 2 O 2 and HO 2 ( T = 270-330 K), the rate parameters were determined to be A = (3.4 -1.5 +2.5 ) × 10 -13 and E a / R = -547 ± 415 K for the hydroperoxide product channel and A = (6.23 -4.4 +15.3 ) × 10 -17 and E a / R = -3100 ± 870 K for the OH product channel. The branching fraction for the OH channel, k 1b / k 1 , follows the temperature-dependent expression, k 1b / k 1 = (3.27 ± 0.51) - [(9.6 ± 1.7) × 10 -3 ] T (K). Determination of these parameters required an extensive reaction kinetics model which included a re-evaluation of the temperature dependence of the HO 2 self-reaction chaperone enhancement parameters due to the methanol-hydroperoxy complex. The second-law thermodynamic parameters for K P,M for the formation of the complex were found to be Δ r H 250K ° = -38.6 ± 3.3 kJ mol -1 and Δ r S 250K ° = -110.5 ± 13.2 J mol -1 K -1 , with the third-law analysis yielding Δ r H 250K ° = -37.5 ± 0.25 kJ mol -1 . The HO 2 self-reaction rate coefficient was determined to be k 4 = (3.34 -0.80 +1.04 ) × 10 -13 exp [(507 ± 76)/ T ]cm 3 molecule -1 s -1 with the enhancement term k 4,M ″ = (2.7 -1.7 +4.7 ) × 10 -36 exp [(4700 ± 255)/ T ]cm 6 molecule -2 s -1 , proportional to [CH 3 OH], over T = 220-280 K. The equivalent chaperone enhancement parameter for the acetone-hydroperoxy complex was also required and determined to be k 4,A ″ = (5.0 × 10 -38 - 1.4 × 10 -41 ) exp[(7396 ± 1172)/ T ] cm 6 molecule -2 s -1 , proportional to [CH 3 C(O)CH 3 ], over T = 270-296 K. From these parameters, the rate coefficients for the reactions between HO 2 and the respective complexes over the given temperature ranges can be estimated: for HO 2 ·CH 3 OH, k 12 = [(1.72 ± 0.050) × 10 -11 ] exp [(314 ± 7.2)/T] cm 3 molecule -1 s -1 and for HO 2 ·CH 3 C(O)CH 3 , k 15 = [(7.9 ± 0.72) × 10 -17 ] exp [(3881 ± 25)/ T ] cm 3 molecule -1 s -1 . Lastly, an estimate of the rate coefficient for the HO 2 ·CH 3 OH self-reaction was also determined to be k 13 = (1.3 ± 0.45) × 10 -10 cm 3 molecule -1 s -1 .

Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the common types and directions of root fractures of the maxillary first molar and the influence of root canal treatment on the prevalent sites of root fractures., Methods: A total of 274 maxillary first molars with root fractures diagnosed via cone beam computed tomography were included. The root fractures of nonendodontically and endodontically treated teeth were identified to be spontaneous and secondary root fractures, respectively. The sites, types, and directions of spontaneous and secondary root fractures were determined., Results: Among the spontaneous root fractures, the proportion of palatal root fractures (56.1%) was higher than those of mesial buccal root fractures (36.1%) and distal buccal root fractures (7.8%). Among the secondary root fractures, the proportion of mesial buccal root fractures (52.7%) was higher than those of palatal root fractures (36.5%) and distal buccal root fractures (10.8%). The distribution of predominant fracture sites was statistically significant ( P <0.05), and vertical root fracture was the most common type. Palatal and buccal roots were commonly fractured at the mesiodistal and buccal-palatal directions, respectively., Conclusions: This study provided an epidemiological basis for the clinical features of root fractures of the maxillary first molar. During the dia-gnosis and treatment of the maxillary first molar, the possibility of palatal root fractures should be considered. The occurrence of mesial buccal root fractures may be related to root canal treatment. Therefore, the risk of mesial buccal root fractures caused by iatrogenic factors should be minimized.

Pulsed laser photolysis coupled with infrared (IR) wavelength modulation spectroscopy and ultraviolet (UV) absorption spectroscopy was used to study the kinetics and branching fractions for the acetonyl peroxy (CH 3 C(O)CH 2 O 2 ) self-reaction and its reaction with hydro peroxy (HO 2 ) at a temperature of 298 K and pressure of 100 Torr. Near-IR and mid-IR lasers simultaneously monitored HO 2 and hydroxyl, OH, respectively, while UV absorption measurements monitored the CH 3 C(O)CH 2 O 2 concentrations. The overall rate constant for the reaction between CH 3 C(O)CH 2 O 2 and HO 2 was found to be (5.5 ± 0.5) × 10 -12 cm 3 molecule -1 s -1 , and the branching fraction for OH yield from this reaction was directly measured as 0.30 ± 0.04. The CH 3 C(O)CH 2 O 2 self-reaction rate constant was measured to be (4.8 ± 0.8) × 10 -12 cm 3 molecule -1 s -1 , and the branching fraction for alkoxy formation was inferred from secondary chemistry as 0.33 ± 0.13. An increase in the rate of the HO 2 self-reaction was also observed as a function of acetone (CH 3 C(O)CH 3 ) concentration which is interpreted as a chaperone effect, resulting from hydrogen-bond complexation between HO 2 and CH 3 C(O)CH 3 . The chaperone enhancement coefficient for CH 3 C(O)CH 3 was determined to be k A ″ = (4.0 ± 0.2) × 10 -29 cm 6 molecule -2 s -1 , and the equilibrium constant for HO 2 ·CH 3 C(O)CH 3 complex formation was found to be K c (R14) = (2.0 ± 0.89) × 10 -18 cm 3 molecule -1 ; from these values, the rate constant for the HO 2 + HO 2 ·CH 3 C(O)CH 3 reaction was estimated to be (2 ± 1) × 10 -11 cm 3 molecule -1 s -1 . Results from UV absorption cross-section measurements of CH 3 C(O)CH 2 O 2 and prompt OH radical yields arising from possible oxidation of the CH 3 C(O)CH 3 -derived alkyl radical are also discussed. Using theoretical methods, no likely pathways for the observed prompt OH radical formation have been found and the prompt OH radical yields thus remain unexplained.

Rate constants of the reactions Cl + CH 3 OH → CH 2 OH + HCl ( k 1 ) and Cl + CH 3 CHO → CH 3 C(O) + HCl ( k 3 ) were measured at 100 Torr over the temperature range 230.3-297.1 K. Radical chemistry was initiated by pulsed laser photolysis of Cl 2 in mixtures of CH 3 OH and CH 3 CHO in a flow reactor. Heterodyne near-IR wavelength modulation spectroscopy was used to directly detect HO 2 produced from the subsequent reaction of CH 2 OH with O 2 in real time to determine the rate of reaction of Cl with CH 3 OH. The rate of Cl + CH 3 CHO was measured relative to that of the Cl + CH 3 OH reaction. Secondary chemistry, including that of the adducts HO 2 ·CH 3 OH and HO 2 ·CH 3 CHO, was taken into account. The Arrhenius expressions were found to be k 1 ( T) = 5.02 -1.5 +1.8 × 10 -11  exp[(20 ± 88)/ T] cm 3 molecule -1 s -1 and k 3 ( T) = 6.38 -2.0 +2.4 × 10 -11  exp[(56 ± 90)/ T] cm 3 molecule -1 s -1 (2σ uncertainties). The average values of the rate constants over this temperature range were k 1 = (5.45 ± 0.37) × 10 -11 cm 3 molecule -1 s -1 and k 3 = (8.00 ± 1.27) × 10 -11 cm 3 molecule -1 s -1 (2σ uncertainties), consistent with current literature values.

The HO 2 + CH 3 C(O)O 2 reaction consists of three product channels: CH 3 C(O)OOH + O 2 (R1a), CH 3 C(O)OH + O 3 (R1b), and OH + CH 3 C(O)O + O 2 (R1c). The overall rate constant ( k 1 ) and product yields (α 1a , α 1b , and α 1c ) were determined over the atmospherically relevant temperature range of 230-294 K at 100 Torr in N 2 . Time-resolved kinetics measurements were performed in a pulsed laser photolysis experiment in a slow flow cell by employing simultaneous infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) absorption spectroscopy. HO 2 and CH 3 C(O)O 2 were formed by Cl-atom reactions with CH 3 OH and CH 3 CHO, respectively. Heterodyne near- and mid-infrared (NIR and MIR) wavelength modulation spectroscopy (WMS) was employed to selectively detect HO 2 and OH radicals. Ultraviolet absorption at 225 and 250 nm was used to detect various peroxy radicals as well as ozone (O 3 ). These experimental techniques enabled direct measurements of α 1c and α 1b via time-resolved spectroscopic detection in the MIR and the UV, respectively. At each temperature, experiments were performed at various ratios of initial HO 2 and CH 3 C(O)O 2 concentrations to quantify the secondary chemistry. The Arrhenius expression was found to be k 1 ( T) = 1.38 -0.63 +1.17 × 10 -12  exp[(730 ± 170)/ T] cm 3 molecule -1 s -1 . α 1a was temperature-independent while α 1b and α 1c decreased and increased, respectively, with increasing temperatures. These trends are consistent with the current recommendation by the IUPAC data evaluation. Hydrogen-bonded adducts of HO 2 with the precursors, HO 2 ·CH 3 OH and HO 2 ·CH 3 CHO, played a role at lower temperatures; as part of this work, rate enhancements of the HO 2 self-reaction due to reactions of the adducts with HO 2 were also measured.

Background: Chronic cerebral hypoperfusion is a common pathophysiological state in various cerebrovascular diseases. Anisodine has been reported to exert neuroprotective effects in cerebral ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) animal model. However, it is unclear whether anisodine hydrobromide, the hydrobromide format of anisodine, one of the tropic alkanes alkaloids, exhibits the same neuroprotective effect on chronic cerebral hypoperfusion(CCH) rats. Herein, we tried to unravel these issues., Methods: CCH model in adult male Sprague-Dawley rats was established by permanent ligation of the bilateral common carotid arteries [two-vessel occlusion (2-VO)] surgery. Rats were randomly divided into six groups: sham, 2-VO, 2-VO + Butyl phthalide and sodium chloride injection (NBP, as positive control group), 2-VO + anisodine hydrobromide (AH)1.2mg/kg, 2-VO +AH0.6mg/kg, 2-VO +AH0.3mg/kg. Cognitive behavior was examined by Morris Water Maze Test. Neuronal survival and apoptosis were evaluated by Nissl staining and Terminal-deoxynucleoitidyl transferase mediated nick end labeling (TUNEL staining). The relative monoamine neurotransmitter (5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT), norepinephrine (NA)), the content of Ach, the activity of acetylcholin esterase (AchE) were measured in cholinergic system, and the protein expressions of Bcl-2, Bax, p-Akt and p-GSK-3βwere detected by Western blot assay., Results: The results showed that there is significant memory impairment and a remarkable neuron necrosis and apoptosis, along with the dysfunction of the neurotransmitter systems and central cholinergic system in CCH rats. AH treatment could significantly improve cognitive deficits, while reducing neuron necrosis and apoptosis, apart from increasing the content of 5-HT and decreasing the activity of AchE markedly. Further study revealed that AH could promote the protein expression of Bcl-2, phosphorylation of Akt and GSK-3β, and downregulate the protein of Bax., Conclusion: AH was demonstrated to ameliorate memory deficits by revising the imbalance of the monoamine neurotransmitter and cholinergic dysfunction. A series of Sr(1-x-y)CayMoO4:xSm(3+) (0 ≤ x ≤ 7 mol% and 0 ≤ y < 1) phosphors was synthesized by a conventional solid-state reaction method in air, and their structural and spectroscopic properties were investigated. The optimal doping concentration of Sm(3+) in SrMoO4:Sm(3+) phosphor is 5 mol%. Under excitation with 275 nm, in Sr(1-x-y)CayMoO4:xSm(3+) (0 ≤ x ≤ 7 mol% and 0 ≤ y < 1) phosphors, the emission band of the host was found to overlap with the excitation bands peaking at ~ 500 nm of Sm(3+) ion, and the energy transfer from MoO4 (2-) group to Sm(3+) ion can also be observed. The International Commission on Illumination (CIE) chromaticity coordinates of Sr(0.95-y)CayMoO4:0.05Sm(3+) phosphors with excitation 275 nm varied systematically from an orange (0.4961, 0.3761) (y = 0) to a white color (0.33, 0.3442) (y = 0.95) with increasing calcium oxide (CaO) concentration. However, Sr(0.95-y)CayMoO4:0.05Sm(3+) phosphors with excitation at 404 nm only showed red emission and the energy transfer between MoO4(2-) group to Sm(3+) ion was not observed.
