Esta investigación tiene como propósito detectar los riesgos biomecánicos laborales a los que se encuentran expuestos los trabajadores, como también realizar la implementación de procedimientos que permitan la disminución de accidentes e incidentes de trabajo. Debido a que es imprescindible tomar acción frente a estos riesgos de manera adecuada para así prevenir y mitigar las enfermedades laborales, rehabilitaciones, accidentes, entre muchos otros. [ES] El proyecto forma parte de una actividad de estudio e investigación sobre la maquinaria de producción de cuerdas, conservada en el Arsenal de Venecia, compuesta por diferentes elementos, que forma parte de la colección de la Fundación de los Museos Civiles de Venecia. El objeto de estudio es clasificable como bien material demoetnoantropológico y las actividades que se prevé realizar durante el periodo de estancia en Venecia son las siguientes: - Estudio de los documentos existentes sobre la maquinaria de producción de cuerdas (bibliografías, documentos de archivo) - Recopilación de fichas descriptivas de cada tipo de elemento con indicación de su consistencia y estado general de conservación Una parte de la actividad se realiza in situ en condiciones de seguridad, y otra parte se lleva a cabo en el escritorio. La actividad de estudio e investigación descrita servirá para llevar a cabo un proyecto de restauración a cargo de profesionales locales con experiencia. Dado el buen estado de conservación de la máquina, los trabajos consistirán principalmente en la limpieza y el tratamiento de la madera y el metal de los componentes que así lo requieran. También habrá que evaluar si se integran o no las partes que faltan. Está previsto un proyecto de acondicionamiento de la maquinaria, para que se conserve en las mejores condiciones y sea accesible al público, con el fin de ponerla en valor. Toda la operación tiene como objetivo restaurar y proteger el patrimonio del antiguo oficio de la cuerda y la cordería, tan importante para las embarcaciones venecianas, propulsadas por velas o remos, de las que la máquina en cuestión, es un ejemplo prácticamente intacto. Estos conocimientos, como muchas otras cosas relacionadas con los barcos, forman parte de la cultura identitaria de la ciudad lagunera, por lo que es de gran valor preservar su memoria., [EN] The project is part of a study and research activity on the rope production machinery, preserved in the Arsenal of Venice, composed of different elements, which is part of the collection of the Fondazione dei Musei Civici di Venezia (Venice Civil Museums Foundation). The object of study can be classified as a demoethnoanthropological material asset and the activities to be carried out during the period of stay in Venice are as follows: » Study of existing documents on rope production machinery (bibliographies, archive documents). » Compilation of descriptive cards of each type of element with an indication of their consistency and general state of conservation. Part of the activity is carried out on site in safe conditions, and another part is carried out at the desk. The study and research activity described above will be used to carry out a restoration project by experienced local professionals. Given the good state of conservation of the machine, the work will consist mainly of cleaning and treatment of the wood and metal of the components that require it. An assessment will also be made as to whether or not to integrate the missing parts. A project is planned to refurbish the machinery, so that it can be kept in the best possible condition and be accessible to the public, in order to enhance its value. The whole operation is aimed at restoring and protecting the heritage of the ancient craft of rope and lambing, so important for Venetian boats, propelled by sails or oars, of which the machine in question is a practically intact example. This knowledge, like many other things related to boats, is part of the identity culture of the lagoon city, so it is of great value to preserve its memory.

Currently, the use of biostimulants is increasing due to the need for greater productivity in agriculture. The European Union presented a new fertilizer regulation, UE 2019/1009, appearing for the first time the concept of biostimulants. Its main objective is to improve the efficiency of plants in the absorption and assimilation of nutrients or their tolerance to biotic or abiotic stresses, regardless of the nutrient content of the product. The objective of this work consisted in the development of a methodology to test in a short-term experiment the efficiency of commercial products as potential biostimulants in a crop of Capsicum annuum L. in strictly hydroponic conditions. Plants were irrigated with the respective product at the recommended dose in water, without the addition of other nutritional sources for 15 days. At the end of the test, the weights of the root and aerial part, the humidity, the chlorophyll indexes, and nutritional leaf content, as well as the volume and morphology of the roots and plants were obtained to evaluate the biostimulant effects on the plant growth and development. The water consumption was also evaluated to analyze whether any of the products generates greater water savings. The study concluded that the nutritive solutions with biostimulants produced a greater increase in the weight of the plant and a lower percentage of leaf moisture, as well as higher values of leaf chlorophyll. On the other hand, it was humic, fulvic, and algae biostimulants that presented the best values in terms of water savings. The methodology developed could be set to test in the short term the biostimulant potential of new products, This research did not receive any specific grant from funding agencies in the public, commercial, or not-for-profit sectors

Background Following the ACA, millions of people gained Medicaid insurance. Most electronic health record (EHR) tools to date provide clinical-decision support and tracking of clinical biomarkers, we developed an EHR tool to support community health center (CHC) staff in assisting patients with health insurance enrollment documents and tracking insurance application steps. The objective of this study was to test the effectiveness of the health insurance support tool in (1) assisting uninsured patients gaining insurance coverage, (2) ensuring insurance continuity for patients with Medicaid insurance (preventing coverage gaps between visits); and (3) improving receipt of cancer preventive care. Methods In this quasi-experimental study, twenty-three clinics received the intervention (EHR-based insurance support tool) and were matched to 23 comparison clinics. CHCs were recruited from the OCHIN network. EHR data were linked to Medicaid enrollment data. The primary outcomes were rates of uninsured and Medicaid visits. The secondary outcomes were receipt of recommended breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screenings. A comparative interrupted time-series using Poisson generalized estimated equation (GEE) modeling was performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the EHR-based tool on the primary and secondary outcomes. Results Immediately following implementation of the enrollment tool, the uninsured visit rate decreased by 21.0% (Adjusted Rate Ratio [RR] = 0.790, 95% CI = 0.621–1.005, p = .055) while Medicaid-insured visits increased by 4.5% (ARR = 1.045, 95% CI = 1.013–1.079) in the intervention group relative to comparison group. Cervical cancer preventive ratio increased 5.0% (ARR = 1.050, 95% CI = 1.009–1.093) immediately following implementation of the enrollment tool in the intervention group relative to comparison group. Among patients with a tool use, 81% were enrolled in Medicaid 12 months after tool use. For the 19% who were never enrolled in Medicaid following tool use, most were uninsured (44%) at the time of tool use. Conclusions A health insurance support tool embedded within the EHR can effectively support clinic staff in assisting patients in maintaining their Medicaid coverage. Such tools may also have an indirect impact on evidence-based practice interventions, such as cancer screening. Las graves consecuencias que ocasionan los accidentes por caída en altura hacen necesario que las empresas implementen medidas de control, que permitan valorar y minimizar la exposición a este peligro. En Colombia trabajo en alturas es “Toda actividad que realiza un trabajador que ocasione la suspensión y/o desplazamiento, en el que se vea expuesto a un riesgo de caída, mayor a 2.0 metros, con relación del plano de los pies del trabajador al plano horizontal inferior más cercano a él.” (Res. 4272, 2021). Este tipo de actividad es característica del sector construcción, donde cotidianamente se llevan a cabo tareas que implican exposición a caídas a diferente nivel y que, de acuerdo con las estadísticas en Colombia, “generan anualmente 532 fatalidades por caída en altura de las cuales 125 correspondieron al sector construcción” (Pachon Landino & Vargas Cardozo, 2016). La consultoría que va a desarrollarse permitirá que la empresa Inmobiliaria A&B cuente con una herramienta que le permita identificar, valorar y controlar los riesgos que general el peligro en alturas para el personal que desempeña cargos que deben exponerse a caídas. La metodología utilizada para el diseño y elaboración del programa de protección y prevención contra caídas para trabajo seguro en alturas prestado por la inmobiliaria A&B., aplicando el ciclo Deming, articulando y siguiendo la metodología establecida en el Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo SG-SST, mediante un procedimiento lógico y por etapas que permite el mejoramiento continuo del mismo. The serious consequences caused by accidents due to falls from a height make it necessary for companies to implement control measures that allow the assessment and minimization of exposure to this danger. In Colombia work at heights is "Any activity carried out by a worker that causes suspension and / or displacement, in which he is exposed to a risk of falling, greater than 2.0 meters, in relation to the plane of the worker's feet to the lower horizontal plane closest to him." (Res. 4272, 2021). The consultancy that is going to be developed will allow the A&B Real Estate company to have a tool that allows it to identify, assess and control the risks that the danger at heights generates for the personnel who hold positions that must be exposed to falls. This type of activity is characteristic of the construction sector, where tasks are carried out daily that involve exposure to falls at different levels and that, according to statistics in Colombia, "generate annually 532 fatalities due to fall in height of which 125 corresponded to the construction sector" (Pachon Landino & Vargas Cardozo, 2016).
