The proposed architecture defines an adaptation of the Fulcrum coding system towards a Fog computing architecture. The distributed coding scheme allows the adjustment of the coding density according to the complexity of each communication device in the network, enabling the system to concentrate the system's performance to those that would allow for a high complexity in the coding if it significantly affects the delay network. These changes enable eliminating redundant information in the network, thus shortening the system delay. Additionally, thanks to Fulcrum coding defining a code concatenation based on RLNC coding, it allows the system to control the coding parameters from the application layer directly. The proposed architecture is an extension of the IoT-Cloud scheme, which allows establishing distributed performance, whose efficiency is controlled by a Fog-RLNC server and a series of Microcasting-type services.

La presente investigación tuvo como propósito determinar la influencia de la Gestión de las Bodegas Artesanales en las perspectivas de la actividad turística en la provincia de Ica. Problemática que fue sustentada con los enfoques teóricos pertinentes, en razón a las variables de estudio. La metodología de la tesis se sustenta en el tipo de investigación Básica, cuantitativa y factica, de nivel explicativo y diseño no experimental. La población de estudio estuvo integrada por los trabajadores de las Bodegas artesanales del sector vitivinícola de Ica y trabajadores de actores que brindan servicio turístico; siendo el tamaño de la muestra de 359 personas del sector antes indicado. Las técnicas utilizadas para recolectar datos fueron la encuesta y el análisis documental; mientras que para el procesamiento, análisis e interpretación de resultados se utilizaron las técnicas: organización y tabulación de datos, cuadros y representaciones estadísticas y la técnica del Chi – cuadrado para comprobar las hipótesis. En efecto, los resultados de la comprobación de la hipótesis al 95% de confiabilidad y 5% de margen de error, permitió llegar a la siguiente conclusión general: La Gestión de las Bodegas Artesanales del sector vitivinícola en razón a los recursos patrimoniales, servicios de acogida, entre otros aspectos influyen en las perspectivas de la actividad turística en la provincia de Ica; hecho que se fundamenta con la comprobación estadística de la hipótesis principal, ya que el resultado obtenido de 634.59 es superior al valor critico de 53.3835

Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to adapt to new stimuli, with the objective to overcome and learn how to deal with novel situations. In this chapter, it will be explained the new neurophysiological mechanism that entitles the processes of brains’ plasticity. The intriguing phenomena that surround cognitive mechanisms will be described on a morphological and molecular scale, aiming to understand some of the brains’ functions. The principal objective is to clarify and explain that neuroplasticity can take place in different complex tasks such as adaptative behaviors, memory, learning, and automatic conducts. Also, the evolutionary advantage of forgetting will be deeply discussed. The work will describe the functioning of the brain when adapting to new circumstances that affect the procedures of memory. It will be explained why applying biotechnology and neurobioethics is crucial for merging basic and clinical sciences.

Introduction and objectives: The present report describes the clinical characteristics and outcomes of heart transplants in Spain and updates the data to 2019.Methods: We describe the clinical characteristics and outcomes of heart transplants performed in Spain in 2019, as well as trends in this procedure from 2010 to 2018.Results: In 2019, 300 transplants were performed (8794 since 1984; 2745 between 2010 and 2019). Compared with previous years, the most notable findings were the decreasing rate of urgent transplants (38%), and the consolidation of the type of circulatory support prior to transplant, with an almost complete disappearance of counterpulsation balloon (0.7%), stabilization in the use of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (9.6%), and an increase in the use of ventricular assist devices (29.0%). Survival from 2016 to 2018 was similar to that from 2013 to 2015 (P = .34). Survival in both these periods was better than that from 2010 to 2012 (P = .002 and P = .01, respectively).Conclusions: Heart transplant activity has remained stable during the last few years, as have outcomes (in terms of survival). There has been a trend to a lower rate of urgent transplants and to a higher use of ventricular assist devices prior to transplant. (C) 2020 Sociedad Espanola de Cardiologia.
