O objetivo do trabalho é analisar o papel que o Setor Público vem desempenhando na economia de Pilões/RN. O percurso metodológico baseou-se em um enfoque quali-quantitativo e para o levantamento de dados foram utilizados os sites do Tesouro Nacional, Tribunal de Contas do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte, Portal da Transparência do município, dentre outros. Os resultados indicam uma elevada dependência do Setor Público, em que pouco mais de 40% da população recebe algum tipo de transferência direta e com a Administração Pública respondendo por cerca de 63% do Valor Adicionado Bruto, no período de 2013 a 2017. Conclui-se que a economia de Pilões/RN tem baixíssimo dinamismo dos setores produtivos e elevado grau de dependência do Setor Público.

Background Bacaba (Oenocarpus bacaba Mart.) has a high yield of oil, with the potential to produce biologically active natural products and can be considered a new "superfruit" with high value added. Methods Acid value, peroxide value, refractive index, saponification value, p-anisidine value, relative density, iodine value, total oxidation value, specific extinction coefficients at 232 and 270 nm (K232 and K270), ΔK, and color were determined. Results The most significant changes in the quality values, such as peroxide (26.25 mEq·kg-1), p-anisidine (11.41), acidity (14.66 mg KOH·g-1 oil), and total oxidation (63.92) were determined for 15 min of microwave heating. Conclusions The microwave heating promoted the acceleration of oxidative processes showing that, overall, much care should be taken when heating the bacaba oil by microwave to avoid oil degradation.

Alopecia is a clinical condition related to hair loss that can significantly affect both male and female adults’ quality of life. Despite the high market demand, only few drugs are currently approved for alopecia treatment. Topical formulations still bring drawbacks, such as scalp irritation with frequent use, and low drug absorption to the site of action, which limits the efficacy. The most recent research points out that different formulation technology could circumvent the aforementioned flaws. Such technology includes incorporation of drugs in rigid or deformable nanoparticles, strategies involving physical, energetical and mechanical techniques, such as iontophoresis, sonophoresis, microneedling, and the use of solid effervescent granules to be hydrated at the moment of application in the scalp. In this paper, the progress of current research on topical formulations dedicated to the treatment of alopecia is reviewed and discussed.

Therefore, the objective of this dissertation is to analyze the evolution of inequality indices before and during the pandemic, observing the effects of social programs, especially Emergency Aid. Information from the Continuous National Household Sample Survey (PNADC) in the years 2012 - 2020 and the Covid-19 National Household Sample Survey (PNAD Covid-19) in 2020, both carried out by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, were used. The results suggest a reduction in the Gini and Palma index, indicating the importance of Emergency Aid in maintaining income during the pandemic in 2020. Objective: to compare the prediction of cardiovascular risk of two anthropometric measures (waist-height ratio and waist-hip ratio) to the gold standard metabolic syndrome. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional, analytical and descriptive study was conducted in a primary health care unit in northeastern Brazil. The sample was composed of 198 patients, obtained by convenience. The data collected were: sociodemographic, biochemical tests, presence of comorbidities and anthropometric data for calculation of body mass index, waist-height ratio, waist-hip ratio and conicity index. The Mann-Whitney test was used to compare averages. Binary and multivariate logistic regression was performed to verify the association. Last year’s introduction observed that the global pandemic had seen the flourishing of streaming settings of Blake’s works, particularly for individual artists who clearly turned to music as a creative release from the stresses caused by COVID. Indeed, the list for 2020 recorded more new releases than that for 2019, but, by concentrating on the services provided by Amazon, Apple, and Spotify, it did not account for a wealth of independent productions that were released on Bandcamp and SoundCloud. As such, half of this year’s list consists of tracks and albums from 2020, thanks to the research of Camila Oliveira. In future, we shall include more independent artists, many of whom embody Blake’s creative ethos more thoroughly than established musicians and songwriters.

Introduction One of the main implications of hearing impairment is the difficulty in perceiving speech sounds, especially in noisy environments. Thus, the frequency-modulated system is considered an important educational tool for children with hearing impairment because it improves speech perception in acoustically-unfavorable environments, such as in the classroom. The assessment of speech perception in noise is included in the verification protocol of this device. Objectives To verify the effectiveness of the phrases in noise test Brazil in children with hearing impairment using an frequency-modulated system. Methods This was a cross-sectional cohort study. The sample included 40 children, aged 4 years to 11 years and 11 months old, divided into 4 groups: (1) 10 normal hearing children; (2) 13 children with hearing aids and frequency-modulated system; (3) 12 children using cochlear implant and fitted with the frequency-modulated system; and (4) 5 children diagnosed with auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder, fitted with hearing aids and/or cochlear implant and with the frequency-modulated system. Neste artigo, objetivamos discutir sobre princípios de ética e relações de poder em pesquisas acadêmicas realizadas no âmbito da Linguística Aplicada. Para tanto, partimos de uma perspectiva decolonial de língua e ética e articulamos as reflexões aqui tecidas com interpretações de dados obtidos em pesquisa de cunho etnográfico realizada nas séries iniciais do ensino fundamental de uma escola pública da região sudeste do Brasil. Nossas discussões se originam a partir da constatação da relação controversa que pode se estabelecer entre universidade e escola, na qual uma instância é tida como produtora e a outra, como consumidora de conhecimentos. A partir de nossa análise, argumentamos que a pesquisa etnográfica que transcende a elaboração de conhecimentos sobre a escola, visando à construção de conhecimentos com a escola, tem grande potencial para promover interações mais horizontais e dialógicas entre esta e a universidade. Concluímos a discussão com alguns questionamentos e provocações acerca do fazer ético de pesquisa em Linguística Aplicada.

A formação em saúde historicamente baseou-se em um modelo curativista e insuficiente para preparar o perfil profissional necessário à implantação e operacionalização dos princípios e diretrizes do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Diante deste cenário, a estratégia de reorientação da formação tem sido utilizada para promover a aproximação dos estudantes de graduação com a realidade do SUS. Para atender a esta necessidade, a Escola Estadual de Saúde Pública (EESP) da Bahia mantém, desde 2008, o programa de estágio não obrigatório no âmbito da gestão em saúde, denominado CotidianoSUS. Este relato de experiência objetiva descrever o desenvolvimento do programa ao longo de suas oito edições a partir de uma análise das fontes de informação da EESP de 2008 até 2018. Como resultado destaca-se o crescimento do programa, que já proporcionou a cerca de 2 mil estudantes de áreas da saúde a vivência da realidade cotidiana dos serviços do SUS, e sua solidificação dentro da rede estadual de saúde da Bahia, além do número de estudantes treinados e qualificados que podem vir a ser contratados após a conclusão do estágio e da graduação.

Essa teoria de adaptacao esta sob supervisao do profissional enfermeiro, que se suprira de informacoes significativas a respeito do paciente e requer dedicacao e habilidade de forma que suas acoes influenciem de maneira eficaz a adaptacao do individuo. Este estudo tem como objetivo identificar os diagnosticos de enfermagem ao paciente oncologico relacionado a Escala de Edmonton aplicando a teoria de adaptacao. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliografica descritiva com abordagem qualitativa. Para isso, foram utilizados artigos publicados em revistas cientificas, livros e manuais praticos pertinentes com o assunto. Observou-se que pacientes com câncer terminal se apresentam de forma expressiva nos ultimos anos, com isso, houve a necessidade do profissional de enfermagem aperfeicoar seus conhecimentos, habilidades e tecnicas, devido a assistencia continua prestada. Systematization of nursing care for cancer patients in palliative care: from a referential point of view on Callista Roy adaptation theory Abstract : The work will be based on a theory of Callista Roy and applicability of the nursing process with subsidy on the Edmonton/Edmonton Symptom Assesment System (ESAS) Scale. This adaptation theory is under the supervision of the professional nurse, who will supply significant information about the patient and requires dedication and skill so that his actions effectively influence the individual's adaptation. The objectives of this study were to quantify the virulence of four entomopathogenic fungal species to pupae of Rhagoletis pomonella (Walsh) (Diptera: Tephritidae) and to determine the potential to combine entomopathogenic fungi (EPFs) and entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) for biological control of this pest. The four species of EPFs included Beauveria bassiana (strain GHA), Metarhizium brunneum (strain F52), Isaria javanica (wf GA17), and Isaria fumosorosea (Apopka 97 strain). In laboratory assays, all fungi reduced adult emergence but there were no differences between fungal species. Isaria javanica and M. brunneum were examined further in a EPFs and EPNs bioassay that also included the EPNs Steinernema carpocapsae (ALL strain) and S. riobrave (355 strain). All nematodes and fungi were applied either alone or in combination (fungus + nematode). There were no differences between species within the same entomopathogen group (fungi and nematodes). However, the treatment with S. riobrave resulted in lower R. pomonella emergence than either fungal species. The combination of S. riobrave and I. javanica resulted in the lowest R. pomonella emergence (3%) at fourth-week interval, which was significantly lower than any of the single-agent applications, yet virulence of the other three combination treatments was not different from their respective nematode treatments applied alone. Additive interactions were detected for all fungus–nematode combinations. This study suggests that application of entomopathogenic nematodes and fungi could be an effective option to suppress R. pomonella populations.

Objective: To know the general aspects of Venezuelan immigrants' life in shelters, with a focus on food, access to health services, and main factors that motivated immigration to Brazil. Methods: This is a qualitative-exploratory study, carried out in the second semester of 2019, using 22 semi-structured interviews, with the participation of immigrants sheltered in Boa Vista, Roraima, Brazil. The content analysis technique was used for data analysis, with four thematic categories emerging: Living in the shelter, Food at the shelter, Health at the shelter, and Choice of Brazil as a destination. Results: Despite the impasses, there are feelings of gratitude for living in Brazil. Living in the shelter is bad and difficult, as the environment in the tents is warm, small, and with little privacy, but they emphasize that it is better than living on the streets. As for the food at the shelter, nutritional support is satisfactory, with the provision of three balanced meals daily, although sometimes it is insufficient. Participants are satisfied with interdisciplinary health care and medication distribution; however, they complain that access to health services is limited. The choice of Brazil to immigrate was due to its economic position in South America and, therefore, they thought they would have a better chance of employability, as well as access to education, health, and, due to the geographical proximity to their country. Conclusion: The study allowed knowing the main reasons that led the participants to choose Brazil as a destination, in addition to the general aspects of life in shelters, focusing on health and food.

The knowledge about microbiology and parasitology is considered abstract since causative agents of diseases cannot be seen with the naked eye, leading to students’ detachment from reality. Therefore, this work aimed to promote educational actions through playful tools that could complement students’ learning regarding the different groups of microorganisms and parasites and the prophylactic measures related to them. Furthermore, at the end of the actions it was evaluated if the students were able to discriminate the groups of microorganisms and relate them to the diseases they cause and the different forms of prophylaxis. To this end, interviews were conducted with teachers to survey the possible activities that could be used. The action was defined and then divided into three moments (expository class, didactic game and scientific show) held between August and November 2018, reaching approximately 350 students, from the eighth and ninth years, from three public schools in the urban and rural area of the city oftUberlândia-MG. To assess the impact of the action, a comparative analysis of questionnaires was applied before (pre-intervention) and after the action (post-intervention). The percentage of correct answers in the questionnaires post-intervention increased in two schools (p>0,005). Regarding the analysis by questions, the lowest percentages of correct answers were observed in questions related to the distinction between bacterial and viral diseases, the recognition of the symptoms and the association of transmission ways with prophylaxis. Thus, this study reinforces the importance of health education for students to mobilize in the fight against diseases.

Este estudo tem o objetivo de definir o fluxo de atendimento aos usuários que apresentem sintomas suspeitos do COVID-19 em uma unidade de atenção secundária em saúde mental infantojuvenil. Com o intuito de atuar na identificação, na notificação e no manejo oportuno de casos suspeitos e encaminhamento do usuário para unidade de referência. Trata-se de uma abordagem qualitativa com análise documental, que contribuiu para a criação do fluxograma de atendimento a pacientes casos suspeitos da COVID-19 no serviço e partiu da indagação de como dinamizar os atendimentos e evitar que os profissionais se coloquem em risco diante a possíveis casos de COVID-19.

Tau pathology is defined by the intracellular accumulation of abnormally phosphorylated Tau (MAPT) and is prevalent in several neurodegenerative disorders. The identification of modulators of Tau abnormal phosphorylation and aggregation is key to understanding disease progression and developing targeted therapeutic approaches. In this study, we identified String (Stg)/Cdc25 phosphatase as a suppressor of abnormal Tau phosphorylation and associated toxicity. Using a Drosophila model of tauopathy, we showed that Tau dephosphorylation by Stg/Cdc25 correlates with reduced Tau oligomerization, brain vacuolization and locomotor deficits in flies. Moreover, using a disease mimetic model, we provided evidence that Stg/Cdc25 reduces Tau phosphorylation levels independently of Tau aggregation status and delays neurodegeneration progression in the fly. These findings uncover a role for Stg/Cdc25 phosphatases as regulators of Tau biology that extends beyond their well-characterized function as cell-cycle regulators during cell proliferation, and indicate Stg/Cdc25-based approaches as promising entry points to target abnormal Tau phosphorylation.

Objective and design: Our research aimed to investigate the role of CD14 in pulmonary infection by Achromobacter xylosoxidans in an experimental murine model. Methods C57Bl/6 or CD14-deficient mice were infected intratracheally with A. xylosoxidans. At times 1, 3 and 7 days after infection, lungs, bronchoalveolar lavage and blood were collected. CD14 gene expression was determined by RT-PCR. The bacterial load in the lungs was assessed by counting colony forming units (CFU). Cytokines, chemokines, lipocalin-2 and sCD14 were quantified by the ELISA method. Inflammatory infiltrate was observed on histological sections stained with HE, and leukocyte subtypes were assessed by flow cytometry. Results CD14-deficient mice are protected from A. xylosoxidans-induced death, which is unrelated to bacterial load control. The lungs of CD14-deficient mice presented a smaller area of ​​tissue damage, less neutrophil and macrophage infiltration, less pulmonary edema, and a lower concentration of IL-6, TNF-α, CXCL1, CCL2 and CCL3 when compared with lungs of C57Bl/6 mice. We also observed that A. xylosoxidans infection increases the number of leukocytes expressing mCD14 and sCD14 levels in BALF and serum of infected mice. Conclusions In summary, our data show that in A. xylosoxidans infection, the activation of CD14 induces intense pulmonary inflammatory response resulting in mice death.

A great deal of evidence supports the inevitable importance of spinal glycinergic inhibition in the development of chronic pain conditions. However, it remains unclear how glycinergic neurons contribute to the formation of spinal neural circuits underlying pain-related information processing. Thus, we intended to explore the synaptic targets of spinal glycinergic neurons in the pain processing region (laminae I–III) of the spinal dorsal horn by combining transgenic technology with immunocytochemistry and in situ hybridization accompanied by light and electron microscopy. First, our results suggest that, in addition to neurons in laminae I–III, glycinergic neurons with cell bodies in lamina IV may contribute substantially to spinal pain processing. On the one hand, we show that glycine transporter 2 immunostained glycinergic axon terminals target almost all types of excitatory and inhibitory interneurons identified by their neuronal markers in laminae I–III. Thus, glycinergic postsynaptic inhibition, including glycinergic inhibition of inhibitory interneurons, must be a common functional mechanism of spinal pain processing. On the other hand, our results demonstrate that glycine transporter 2 containing axon terminals target only specific subsets of axon terminals in laminae I–III, including nonpeptidergic nociceptive C fibers binding IB4 and nonnociceptive myelinated A fibers immunoreactive for type 1 vesicular glutamate transporter, indicating that glycinergic presynaptic inhibition may be important for targeting functionally specific subpopulations of primary afferent inputs.

Seeking to demonstrate the recent uses of the enamel matrix derivative (EMD), the objective of this work is to develop a literature review of the use of biomaterial in soft tissues and in the treatment of peri-implantitis. The search for scientific articles was carried out at Pubmed, the selected literature was from 2010 to 2020, found with the following descriptors: “Emdogain And Soft Tissue” and “Emdogain And Peri-Implantitis”. Studies on bone regeneration treatment, bone graft, treatment of patients with systemic disease were excluded. The selected sample consisted of 17 articles, and the results found favor the use of EMD. In the healing of soft tissues around teeth and implants, the works report the good hypotheses in relation to cicatricial cellular events (angiogenesis, fibroplasia and reduction of inflammatory markers) and histological evaluations that EMD promotes when facing surgical wounds. In root coverage of different types of recessions, improvements were also seen with the use of EMD, but procedures based on connective tissue grafts still show superior results. In the treatment of peri-implantitis, EMD seems to present a good result as an adjuvant, but more studies need to be performed. The use of EMD is justified by the possibility of achieving periodontal regeneration in the treated sites and by its positive attributes in the healing process of various periodontal procedures in soft tissues, in the techniques of root covering and in the treatment of peri-implantitis. Buscando demostrar los usos recientes del derivado de la matriz del esmalte (EMD), el objetivo de este trabajo es desarrollar una revisión de la literatura sobre el uso del biomaterial en tejidos blandos y en el tratamiento de la periimplantitis. Se buscaron artículos científicos en Pubmed, la literatura seleccionada fue de 2010 a 2020, se encontró con los siguientes descriptores: “Emdogain And Soft Tissue” y “Emdogain And Peri-Implantitis”. Se excluyeron los estudios sobre el tratamiento de regeneración ósea, el injerto óseo y el tratamiento de pacientes con enfermedades sistémicas. La muestra seleccionada estuvo compuesta por 17 artículos, y los resultados encontrados favorecen el uso de EMD. En la cicatrización de tejidos blandos alrededor de dientes e implantes, los estudios informan las buenas hipótesis con respecto a los eventos de cicatrización celular (angiogénesis, fibroplasia y reducción de marcadores inflamatorios) y evaluaciones histológicas de que el EMD promueve la ganancia de espesor gingival. En el cubrimiento radicular de diferentes tipos de recesiones, también se observaron mejoras con el uso de EMD, pero los procedimientos basados en injertos de tejido conectivo siguen mostrando resultados superiores. En el tratamiento de la periimplantitis, el EMD parece presentar un buen resultado como adyuvante, sin embargo, es necesario realizar más estudios. El uso de EMD se justifica por la posibilidad de lograr una regeneración periodontal en los sitios tratados y por sus atribuciones positivas en el proceso de cicatrización de diversos procedimientos periodontales en tejidos blandos, en técnicas de cobertura radicular y en el tratamiento de periimplantitis. Foram excluídos trabalhos sobre tratamento de regeneração óssea, enxerto ósseo, tratamento de pacientes com doença sistêmica. A amostra selecionada consistiu em 17 artigos, e os resultados encontrados favorecem o uso do EMD. Na cicatrização dos tecidos moles ao redor de dentes e implantes, os trabalhos relatam as boas hipóteses em relação aos eventos celulares cicatriciais (angiogênese, fibroplasia e redução de marcadores inflamatórios) e avaliações histológicas que EMD promove ganho de espessura gengival. No recobrimento radicular de diferentes tipos de recessões, as melhorias também foram observadas com o uso do EMD, porém os procedimentos baseados em enxertos de tecido conjuntivo ainda apresentam resultados superiores. No tratamento da periimplantite o EMD parece apresentar um bom resultado como adjuvante, entretanto mais estudos precisam ser realizados. O uso do EMD se justifica pela possibilidade de atingir regeneração periodontal nos sítios tratados e por suas atribuições positivas no processo cicatricial de variados procedimentos periodontais em tecidos moles, nas técnicas de recobrimento radicular e no tratamento de periimplantites.

A esporotricose é uma micose causada por fungos do complexo Sporothrix schenckiique pode afetar humanos e animais. É uma doença de caráter zoonótico, tendo o felino doméstico um importante papel epidemiológico na disseminação da doença, sendo ele considerado uma das principais fontes de infecção para os seres humanos. O diagnóstico correto dessa enfermidade é essencial para o tratamento dos doentes e para o seu controle, minimizando assim, o risco de transmissão da infecção a outros indivíduos.

Resumo Objetivo Avaliar a capacidade da Clinical Frailty Scale (CFS) em predizer a mortalidade em até 90 dias e outros desfechos desfavoráveis em idosos admitidos em um Serviço Hospitalar de Emergência (SHE). Método Estudo de coorte prospectivo que incluiu idosos admitidos e que permaneceram por pelo menos uma noite no SHE de um hospital público terciário. O grau de fragilidade basal foi avaliado através da CFS e sua pontuação, o preditor estudado, por meio da curva Receiver Operator Characteristics (ROC). Analisou-se como desfecho primário a mortalidade em 90 dias. Considerou-se como desfechos secundários: mortalidade em 180 dias, declínio funcional, readmissão no SHE, reinternação e necessidade de atenção domiciliar. Background A daily challenge for the multidisciplinary team in intensive care units (ICUs) is balancing broad-spectrum antibiotics with the appropriate empirical antibiotic therapy. Aim To establish the carbapenem-resistant Gram-negative bacilli screening cultures predictives values. Methods We conducted a retrospective study. We included patients admitted to the intensive care unit for at least 48 hours. We measured carbapenem-resistant negative and positive predictive values, sensitivity, and specificity in Gram-negative bacilli screening cultures. Results We included 331 infected patients. We found high negative predictive values in Gram-negative carbapenem-resistant bacilli screening cultures: A. baumannii: 95% (91- 97); P. aeruginosa: 86% (82 - 92); Enterobacteriaceae spp.: 93% (89 - 95). On the other hand, low positive predictive values were found: A. baumannii 27% (15 – 43); P. aeruginosa 35% (15 – 43) and Enterobacteriaceae spp.: 22% (9 – 42). In the same way, screening culture's sensibility was 41% (24 – 61) for A. baumannii, 27% (16 – 41) for P. aeruginosa, and 21% (8 – 41) for Enterobacteriaceae spp. The specificity for A. baumannii was 89% (85 – 93). Conclusions If uncolonized patients, screening cultures effectively predict that patients will rarely be infected with carbapenem-resistant Gram-negative bacilli. Despite previous colonization being an infection factor risk by these pathogens, most colonized patients, when they developed an infection, were not caused by carbapenem-resistant Gram-negative bacilli. So, screening cultures can be an important tool for pharmacist intervention. Thus, we suggest starting empirical antibiotics aimed at carbapenems-resistant Gram-negative bacilli only in cases where infected patients previously colonized by these pathogens with signs of organ dysfunction.

O processo de ensino e aprendizagem requer a compreensão de variáveis que influenciam no sucesso ou no fracasso escolar, dentre essas, a autoeficácia e as atribuições causais (AC). Sendo assim, neste estudo verificou-se a correlação entre os fatores das AC para o bom e fraco rendimento escolar e a autoeficácia em estudantes do ensino fundamental. Isso, a partir de uma amostra de 121 alunos de escolas públicas de municípios brasileiros da região norte do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Esses, selecionados por conveniência, responderam a três questionários: 1) de informações sociodemográficas; 2) de AC para o rendimento escolar; 3) roteiro de avaliação de autoeficácia. A análise dos dados primários ocorreu por meio de tratamento estatístico descritivo e inferencial. A distribuição desses foi verificada pelo teste de Shapiro-Wilk e a homogeneidade de variâncias pelo o de Levene, considerando-se quatro fatores para bom rendimento/desempenho e quatro para fraco rendimento/desempenho. Utilizou-se, ainda, a matriz de correlação de Spearman para verificar a associação entre eles e o Teste U de Mann-Whitney para averiguar as diferenças entre médias dos construtos por sexo e faixa etária. Os resultados apontaram que os alunos recorrem mais a causas relacionadas aos professores e estrutura externa material para explicar seus bons resultados. Em contrapartida, atribuem o fraco rendimento/desempenho escolar a fatores relativos à própria habilidade cognitiva e capacidade para explicação.

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo reunir parâmetros claros para a compreensão do dever de fiscalização atribuído ao administrador de fundos de investimento tal como previsto na regulação em vigor, bem como avaliar a maneira pela qual esse dever está sendo abordado na minuta da nova norma de fundos que está sob estudo na Audiência Pública SDM nº 08/2020. Para tanto, o trabalho analisa o fundamento do dever de fiscalização imputado ao administrador e verifica que essa obrigação de supervisão se aproxima de uma estratégia regulatória internacional de eleger um membro independente da indústria de fundos para atuar como “vigia” dos cotistas. A partir dessa premissa, o trabalho observa como o dever de vigilância foi adotado no ordenamento jurídico dos Estados Unidos da América e de Luxemburgo para, em seguida, analisar o modo pelo qual a obrigação de supervisão vem sendo imputada aos administradores de fundos de investimento brasileiros, à luz das práticas internacionais, dos pronunciamentos da Comissão de Valores Mobiliários – CVM e da autorregulação da Associação Brasileira das Entidades dos Mercados Financeiro e de Capitais – Anbima. Por fim, tomando como base os parâmetros reunidos ao longo do trabalho sobre o que se espera do administrador no exercício de seu dever de vigilância, a presente pesquisa faz sugestões de aprimoramentos à forma como o dever de fiscalização imputado ao administrador foi retratado na minuta sob análise na Audiência Pública SDM nº 08/2020. The present work aims to gather clear parameters for the understanding of the duty of supervision assigned to the investment fund administrator as provided for in the current regulation, as well as to evaluate the way in which this duty is being addressed in the draft of the new fund rules under review at Public Hearing SDM No. 08/2020. For this purpose, the paper analyzes the basis of the supervisory duty attributed to the administrator and verifies that this supervisory obligation approaches an international regulatory strategy of electing an independent member of the funds industry to act as a "watchman" of quota holders. Based on this premise, the work observed as the duty of surveillance was adopted in the legal system of the United States of America and Luxembourg to then analyze the manner that the supervisory obligation has been attributed to the administrators of Brazilian investment funds, in the light of international practices, the pronouncements of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission – CVM and the self-regulation of the Brazilian Association of Financial and Capital Entities – Anbima. Finally, based on the parameters gathered throughout the work on what is expected of the administrator in the exercise of his duty of surveillance, the present research makes suggestions for improvements to the way the duty of supervision attributed to the administrator was portrayed in the draft under analysis at Public Hearing SDM No. 08/2020.

Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar as transformações ocorridas no espaço rural do Município de Cerrito – RS. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório para compreender as mudanças socioeconômicas dadas pela (re) organização do espaço de produção agrícola e pecuária, a partir da inserção de novas técnicas de produção e os impactos na produção leiteira do município. Foram analisadas as políticas territoriais com suas fragilidades e potencialidades e foi explorado as três políticas públicas principais em Cerrito que são: Bolsa Jovem Rural, PAA e PNAE elencadas como transformadores do espaço rural. O recorte temporal para é a partir da década de 1960 com o início da modernização da agropecuária até a data mais atual com a disponibilidade de dados de órgãos oficiais. Sendo assim, para realizar a pesquisa foi necessário analisar os processos históricos e socioeconômicos do município, pesquisas exploratórias e levantamento de dados secundários do IBGE, EMATER e Prefeitura Municipal. Também ocorreu pesquisa quali-quantitativa com enfoque empírico analítico através de pesquisas de campo com entrevistas semiestruturadas com os agricultores do município. Foram utilizados os conceitos de forma, função, estrutura e processo propostas por Milton Santos para explicar como o espaço social está estruturado e as suas respectivas mudanças ao longo do tempo e podem ser usados como categorias primárias na compreensão da atual organização espacial de Cerrito. As transformações no espaço rural, nos sistemas de produção e nas atividades rurais ao longo do tempo, são essenciais para compreender a multiplicidade de possibilidades e projetar planos de desenvolvimento rural e políticas públicas, para o desenvolvimento das sociedades no espaço rural. This research aims to analyze the transformations that have happened in the rural area of the Municipality of Cerrito – RS. This is an exploratory study to understand the socioeconomic changes caused by the (re) organization of the agricultural and livestock areas, since the insertion of new production techniques and the impacts on milk production in the municipality. Territorial policies with their weaknesses and strengths were analyzed, exploring the three main public policies in Cerrito: Bolsa Jovem Rural, PAA and PNAE, rural space transformers. The time frame is from the 1960s with the beginning of the agriculture modernization to the most current date, with data available in official agencies. Therefore, to do the research, it was necessary to analyze the historical and socioeconomic processes of the municipality, exploratory research and a survey of secondary data from IBGE, EMATER and the municipality prefecture. Quali- quantitative research with an empirical analytical focus also occurred through field research through semi-structured interviews with farmers in the municipality. The concepts of form, function, structure and process, proposed by Milton Santos, were used to explain how the social space is structured and its respective changes over time, and they can also be used as primary categories in understanding the current spatial organization of Cerrito. Transformations in rural areas, production systems and rural activities over time are essential to understand the multiplicity of possibilities and to design rural development plans and public policies for the development of societies in rural areas.
