Vse vrste kač, ki živijo na območju Slovenije, spadajo med ogrožene vrste in so zakonsko zaščitene. Če želimo te živali obvarovati in jih ohraniti tudi za naslednje generacije, moramo vsi pripomoči k njihovi ohranitvi in varovanju. Kot učitelji smo zadolženi učence vzgajati in izobraževati. Z vzgojo jim pomagamo pri izoblikovanju stališč in vrednot, medtem ko jim z izobraževanjem posredujemo znanje. Da bi to lahko dosegli, moramo najprej ugotoviti, kakšna so stališča učencev do predmeta biologija, kač in narave na splošno ter kakšno je njihovo znanje o kačah. Šele potem lahko začnemo razmišljati na kakšen način bi bilo najbolje predstaviti to skupino živali, ki v večini ljudi sproži najmočnejše čustvene odzive. Prav ta stališča in znanje so nas zanimala in so zato predmet naše raziskave. Anketo smo izvedli med 616 učenci iz 7., 8. in 9. razredov na desetih osnovnih šolah po Sloveniji. Izbrali smo šole iz različnih delov Slovenije, da bi dobili čim bolj jasno sliko o tem, kakšno je poznavanje kač pri učencih v tretjem triletju osnovne šole. Ugotovili smo, da čeprav je velika večina učencev že imela stik s kačami, to ni pripomoglo k boljšemu poznavanju kač, kakor tudi ni bilo večjih razlik v znanju med učenci, ki imajo domače živali in tistimi, ki jih nimajo. Razen pri nekaterih izjemah, spol ni bistveno vplival na znanje, kakor ni bilo bistvene razlike med posameznimi razredi. Tudi okolje, v katerem se nahaja šola, ni imelo bistvenega vpliva. Ima pa veliko vlogo učitelj, saj je njegov pristop do snovi bistven za zanimanje učencev do predmeta biologija in poznavanja določene snovi ali tematike. All kinds of snakes living in Slovenia are among the endangered species and are protected by the law. If we want to protect and preserve these animals for the next generation, we all need to contribute to their conservation and protection. As teachers, we are responsible to raise and educate students. Raising helps them in developing the attitudes and values, while education gives them the knowledge. First, it is necessary to determine what are the attitudes of students to the subject biology, snakes and nature in general, and what their knowledge about snakes is. Only then we can begin to think how it would be best to present this group of animals which triggers the strongest emotional responses in the most people. This point of view and knowledge are what we are interested in and therefore is the subject to our research. The survey was conducted among 616 students from 7th, 8th and 9 classes in ten Slovenian elementary schools. We selected schools from different parts of Slovenia, to get the clearest possible picture of what the pupils' knowledge of snakes in the third cycle of elementary school is. We found that although the vast majority of students have already had contact with snakes, it did not lead to a better understanding of snakes, as well as there were no significant differences in knowledge between students who have pets and those who do not. With a few exceptions, gender did not significantly affect the knowledge, there were also no significant differences between classes. Also, the environment in which the school is located in does not have a significant impact. However, the teacher has a large role to play, since his accession to the substance is essential for the pupils' interest in the subject of biology and knowing of the particular subject matter or the topic.

207. INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES QUALIFICATIONS OF TEACHERS AT UNIVERSITY OF MARIBOR

V diplomskem delu smo raziskali vpeljavo informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologij (IKT) v našem šolskem prostoru. Raziskavo smo izvedli med visokošolskimi učitelji treh fakultet Univerze v Mariboru. Osredotočili smo se na pogostost uporabe IKT med učitelji pri pedagoškem delu, na njihovo usposobljenost uporabe IKT in na stališča, ki jih zavzemajo do vključevanja IKT v proces visokošolskega izobraževanja. Podatke, zbrane s spletnim anketnim vprašalnikom, smo obdelali računalniško s pomočjo statističnega programa SPSS. Uporabili smo frekvenčno distribucijo, χ2 – preizkus in Kruskal-Wallisov preizkus. Rezultati so pokazali, da visokošolski učitelji najpogosteje uporabljajo računalnik, internet in mobilni telefon, katerih uporabo tudi najbolje obvladajo, največ pomoči potrebujejo pri uporabi interaktivne table, katero pa bi večina vseeno raje uporabljala kot klasično (zeleno, belo) tablo, v kolikor bi bilo na izbiro. Kljub pozitivnemu odnosu do IKT visokošolski učitelji na prvo mesto postavljajo osebni stik med udeleženci izobraževalnega procesa. In the following thesis, the introduction of information and communications technology (ICT) to the Slovenian education system was researched. The research was carried out among university teachers of three faculties at the University of Maribor. The focus was put on the frequency of teachers using ICT in their pedagogical work, on their competence in using ICT, as well as on their point of view about incorporating ICT in the process of higher education. With the help of the SPSS computer statistics programme, the statistical data obtained through an online survey were processed. The frequency distribution, the χ2-test, and the Kruskal-Wallis test were used in the process. The results showed that university teachers most often use computers, telephones, and the internet in their teaching, seeing that they know best how to use these. The most help is needed with the use of the interactive board. Most teachers, however, would nevertheless use an interactive board rather than a regular one (i.e., greenboard, whiteboard). Despite the positive attitude towards ICT, university teachers still regard personal relationships with students as most important.

Policija je organ v sestavi Ministrstva za notranje zadeve, katere glavna naloga je varovanje življenja ljudi in njihovega premoženja. Policisti morajo pri opravljanju nalog upoštevati, da so njihove naloge izpeljane zakonito, strokovno in da ne prekoračijo pooblastil. Naloge, ki jih policisti opravljajo so zapisane v Zakonu o nalogah in pooblastilih policije (2013), ter v drugih zakonih in predpisih. Policija pri svojem delu v veliki meri sodeluje tudi s poklicnimi gasilci, in sicer pri različnih intervencijskih dogodkih, prometnih nesrečah, požarih v naravnem in drugem okolju, reševanju v poplavah… Medsebojno sodelovanje Policije in poklicnih gasilcev je pomembno za uspešno in učinkovito opravljanje nalog. V diplomskem delu smo zato želeli izvedeti, kakšne so ocene in stališča poklicnih gasilcev Gasilske brigade Kopra in Sežane do dela policistov na Policijski upravi Koper. Ugotovili smo, da gasilci ocenjujejo, da so policisti zavzeti za opravljanje interventnih in humanitarnih nalog. Prav tako so gasilci zadovoljni z uspešnostjo policistov, medsebojnimi odnosi in kompetencami policistov. Najslabše pa so gasilci ocenili sodelovanje policistov z gasilci. Police is a body in the Ministry of the Interior, whose main task is to protect people's life and their property. During their job policemen have to do their tasks legitimately, professional and they mustn't misuse the power. Tasks performed by policemen are written in the Police Tasks and Powers Act (2013) and in other legislative and regulatory frameworks. Police also cooperates with the professional firefighters at intervention actions, traffic accidents, with fire protection in the natural and other environments and at flood interventions… Mutual cooperation of Police and professional firefighters is very important to ensure the effective and efficient performance of functions. The aim of the diploma work was to find out what are the assessments and viewpoints of professional firefighter of the Koper and Sežana Fire Brigade about work performed by Police Directorate Koper. We have determined that firefighters consider policemen as endeavor for interventions and also for humanitarian tasks. They are also satisfied with their effectiveness, mutual cooperation and their competences. They have estimated policemen and firefighters cooperation as the worst.

Varnost je bistvena človekova dobrina, ki je pogoj za brezskrbno življenje in neovirano zadovoljevanje ostalih človeških potreb. Skrb za splošno varnost prevzemata policija, kot nosilec javne varnosti in zasebno varnostne družbe, kot nosilci zasebne varnosti. Bistvena razlika je v tem, da je javna varnost za posameznika brezplačna, zasebno varovanje pa je plačljivo. Za javno varnost skrbijo policisti in policistke, ki pri svojem delu, za izvajanje nalog policije, uporabljajo policijska pooblastila. Za zasebno varnost skrbijo zasebne varnostne družbe, znotraj katerih izvaja naloge zasebnega varovanja zasebno varnostno osebje, ki pri svojem delu uporablja ukrepe varnostnika in druga sredstva. Namen magistrskega dela je proučiti mnenje varnostnikov o osebnih lastnostih policistov, njihovega odnosa do strank v postopku in do varnostnikov ter razlike v mnenjih na podlagi starosti varnostnikov. Prav tako je namen raziskati, ali imajo policisti drugačen odnos do varnostnikov, ko so ti v službi in privatnem življenju. Cilj magistrskega dela je ugotoviti, ali varnostniki menijo, da imajo policisti pozitivne osebnostne lastnosti in kakšni so njihovi odnosi do strank v postopku in do varnostnikov. Naslednja cilja sta ugotoviti, ali se stališča varnostnikov do policistov spreminjajo glede na njihovo starost in ali imajo policisti drugačen odnos do varnostnikov, ko so ti v službi in privatnem življenju. V teoretičnem poglavju magistrskega dela smo uvodoma zbrali in preučili tematsko literaturo, v empiričnem poglavju pa smo, na podlagi analize mnenja varnostnikov, prišli do rezultatov raziskave, da imajo po mnenju varnostnikov policisti pozitivne osebnostne lastnosti in dober odnos do strank v postopku. Imajo pa bistveno boljši odnos do varnostnikov, ko so ti v službi, kot v zasebnem življenju. Mnenje varnostnikov o odnosu policistov do strank v postopku se razlikuje glede na starost varnostnikov. Starejši kot so, boljše mnenje imajo. Security is an essential human resource, which is a condition for a carefree life and unobstructed meet other human needs. For the general safety we assume the police, as the holder of public safety and private security companies, as the holder of private security. The essential difference lies in the fact that public safety for the individual is free, private security is paid. Care for public safety lies on police officers, who in his work, to perform police tasks, use police powers. Care for private security lies on private security companies in which private security personnel carries out the private security tasks. For their work they use measures of security guard and other assets. The purpose of the master thesis is to study the opinion of private security personnel to personal qualities of police officers, their relationship to the clients in proceedings and to private security personnel and differences of opinion on the basis of their age. Next purpose is to investigate whether the police officers have a different attitude to security personnel when they are at work and private life. The aim of the master thesis is to determine whether security personnel believe that the police officers have a positive personality qualities and what their relationship to the clients in proceedings and to them are. The following objectives are to determine, whether the opinion of security personnel vary depending on their age and whether the police officers have a different attitude to security personnel when they are at work and private life. In the theoretical part of the master thesis, we initially gathered and analyzed thematically literature. In the empirical part, we came to the results of research that, according to security personnel, police officers have positive personality and a good attitude to clients in proceedings. But they have a much better attitude to security personnel, when they are at work, than in private life. Opinion of the security personnel to the relationship of the clients in proceedings varies depending on the age of the guards. The older they are, the better opinion they have.

Policija je organ v sestavi Ministrstva za notranje zadeve, katere prvenstvena naloga je varovanje življenja ljudi ter njihovega premoženja. Seveda to še zdaleč ni edina naloga, za katero je policija zadolžena. Policisti opravljajo tudi druge naloge določene z Zakonom o nalogah in pooblastilih policije (2013), hkrati pa morajo upoštevati še številne druge zakone in predpise, ki se navezujejo na njihovo delo. Nemalokrat se zgodi, da so policisti med opravljanjem z zakonom določenih nalog primorani sodelovati s pripadniki drugih služb, med katere spadajo tudi poklicni gasilci. Slednji že dolgo ne gasijo več le požarov, temveč so prisotni ob čedalje večjem številu raznovrstnih interventnih dogodkov, zaradi česar morajo posedovati čim več znanj in veščin, ter biti primerno usposobljeni. Ravno zaradi dejstva, da se zaradi narave svojega dela gasilci in policisti nenehno srečujejo, je sodelovanje med njimi še kako pomembno. Da bi izvedeli kako poklicni gasilci, ki delujejo na območju Policijske uprave Ljubljana, gledajo na delo policistov ter njihove osebne kompetence in kako ocenjujejo medsebojno sodelovanje in odnose, smo izvedli empirično raziskavo. Ugotovili smo, da so poklicni gasilci v povprečju zadovoljni z delom, ki ga opravijo policisti med reševanjem varnostnih dogodkov, kjer sodelujejo skupaj z njimi. Prav tako smo ugotovili, da dobro ocenjujejo interpersonalne kompetence policistov in njihove medsebojne odnose. Kar se tiče sodelovanja med njimi, pa so potrebne še marsikatere izboljšave, saj je bilo le to s strani poklicnih gasilcev ocenjeno najslabše. The police is a body within the Ministry of Interior, whose primary mission is to protect human lives and their property. Of course, this is far from being the only task the police is responsible for. Police officers also perform other tasks specified by Law of Police tasks and powers (2013), but they must also take into account a number of other laws and regulations that are related to their work. Quite often happens, that the police officers are during the performance of tasks defined by law, forced to cooperate with members of other services, including professional firefighters. Professional firefighters are no longer here only for extinguish fires, but they are also present in an increasing number of a variety emergency events and therefore they should possess as much knowledge and skills as posible, and they need to be properly trained. Precisely because of the fact, that due to the nature of their work firefighters and police officers constantly face each other, the cooperation beetwen them is even more important. In order to find out what professional firefighters, that are working in the area of the Police directorate Ljubljana, think of police work and their personal competences and how they evaluate mutual cooperation and relations, we conducted an empirical study. We have found, that professional firefighters are in average satisfied with the work performed by police officers during the rescue of security events, where they cooperate. We also found out, that they estimate personal competences of police officers and their mutual relations as good. As for cooperation between them, there is need for quite a few improvements, since the professional firefighters rated this one the lowest.

Diplomska naloga je sestavljena iz dveh delov, teoretičnega in empiričnega dela v slednjem so analizirani podatki, pridobljeni z anketnimi vprašalniki. V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge predstavljamo organizacijo, delovanje in sestavo policije ter nekaj zgodovine. Pomembna so tudi pooblastila in naloge policije, zato smo jih na kratko opisali. Predstavljamo pa tudi Policijski upravi Nova Gorica in Kranj. Nadaljujemo z opisovanjem zgodovine gasilstva, organizacijo in s sestavo, nalogami gasilcev, prav tako pa bomo opisali poklicne enote, ki jih bomo uporabljali za raziskavo v nadaljnem empiričnem delu. Te so: Poklicna enota Nova Gorica, Ajdovščina, Kranj in Jesenice. Ker smo želeli ugotoviti ocene in stališča poklicnih gasilcev do dela policije, smo opravili empirično raziskavo med gasilci Gasilskih enot Nova Gorica, Ajdovščina, Kranj in Jesenice. Poglobili smo se v področje medsebojnega sodelovanja pri interventnih in humanitarnih dogodkih in na ocene osebnih kompetenc policistov. Na podlagi pridobljenih rezultatov smo ugotovili, da so policisti Policijskih uprav Nova Gorica in Kranj uspešni pri obravnavanju interventnih dogodkov in so pripravljeni tudi sodelovati pri humanitarnih nalogah. Medsebojno sodelovanje med poklicnimi gasilci Gasilskih enot Nova Gorica, Ajdovščina, Kranj in Jesenice ter policisti Policijskih uprav Nova Gorica in Kranj je po mnenju poklicnih gasilcev dobro, prav tako so dobro ocenili medsebojne odnose. Iz rezultatov smo razbrali in ugotovili, da so gasilci omenjenih poklicnih enot dobro ocenili tudi osebne kompetence policistov Policijskih uprav Nova Gorica in Kranj. Kot pri vsaki stvari, bi bilo tudi tukaj potrebno več pozornosti posvetiti izboljšavam, saj bi bile potrebne za še boljše sodelovanje. Res pa je, da bi bilo za njih potrebno vložiti veliko truda in poskrbeti za precej dobro finančno stanje. The thesis consists of two parts: the theoretical and the empirical one. In the latter the data obtained from the questionnaires have been analyzed. The theoretical part presents the organization, its activity, the composition of the police and some of its history. The authorizations and the tasks of the police are important as well − that's why they have been briefly described. Police Units in Nova Gorica and Kranj will also be presented. Afterwards it is continued by describing the history of firefighting, its organization, its composition and its tasks. Professional units will be described as well and their descriptions will be used in further empirical part for reasearch purposes. They are as follows: The Professional Units of Nova Gorica, Ajdovščina, Kranj and Jesenice. Since our purpose was to find out the ratings and viewpoints of professional firefighters towards the police work we consequently carried out an empirical study among firemen of the Professional Units of Nova Gorica, Ajdovščina, Kranj and Jesenice. We absorbed ourselves in the domain of mutual cooperation at interventions and humanitarian events and the assesment of personal competence of police officers. Based on the results obtained it was found out that the police officers of the Police Units of Nova Gorica and Kranj are being successful in dealing with emergency events and are also willing to participate in humanitarian missions. According to professional firefighters of the Professional Units of Nova Gorica, Ajdovščina, Kranj and Jesenice Kranj is good. The same is true for their interpersonal relationships. It was found out and understood from the results that professional firefighters of the previously mentioned units appreciated individual competences of the police officers of Police Units in Nova Gorica and Kranj. As it is proved elsewhere, it would be necessary to pay more attention to improvements in order to achieve ever better cooperation. It is true that it would be necessary to invest a lot of effort and take care of pretty good financial situation for the purpose.

V teoretičnem delu smo se najprej osredotoči na policijo. Opisali smo Ministrstvo za notranje zadeve, ki mu kot organ v sestavi pripada policija, temeljne naloge policije in njeno organiziranost. Osredotočili smo se tudi na policijska pooblastila, ki so še kako pomembna pri interventnih dogodkih, kjer policija ne deluje sama, ampak sodeluje tudi z drugimi organi in institucijami. Podrobneje smo opisali pooblastila, ki jih policija lahko uporabi pri interventnih dogodkih in humanitarnih nalogah, pri katerih sodelujejo tudi gasilci. To so pooblastila policije pri požarih in požigih, prometnih nesrečah, naravnih nesrečah in iskalnih akcijah. V tem delu predstavimo tudi poklicne gasilske enote v Republiki Sloveniji. Nadalje sta predstavljeni dve poklicni gasilski brigadi, ki smo ju zajeli v raziskavo. V zadnjem delu teoretičnega dela je predstavljeno sodelovanje med policisti in gasilci pri interventnih dogodkih. V empiričnem delu diplomske naloge smo predstavili namen in cilje diplomskega dela, opišemo vprašalnik na katerega so odgovarjali anketiranci in potek postopka anketiranja. Pri anketiranju smo se oprli na pošteno izpolnjene vprašalnike 40 poklicnih gasilcev iz poklicnih gasilskih brigad iz Krškega in Novega mesta. Postavili smo si pet hipotez, ki smo jih kasneje, po analizi rezultatov vprašalnikov, potrdili oziroma zavrgli. Ugotovili smo, da so gasilci dokaj zadovoljni z delom policistov, predvsem z medsebojnimi odnosi in uspešnostjo policistov pri preiskovanju in reševanju skupnih interventnih dogodkov. Nezadovoljstvo so izrazili pri sodelovanju s policisti, kjer bo potrebno narediti še veliko, da se bo stanje izboljšalo. Na koncu empiričnega dela smo s pomočjo diskriminantne analize ugotavljali enakosti povprečnih vrednosti in povezanosti združenih spremenljivk s Pearsonovim koeficientom. V zaključne delu najprej povzamemo ključne ugotovitve teoretičnega in empiričnega dela, pri tem pa dodamo pripombe gasilcev, ki so izrazili razočaranje nad policisti predvsem pri obravnavanju prometnih nesreč, kjer ne pomagajo ponesrečencem, ampak najprej pišejo kazni. First focus of the theoretical part of the thesis is the police, a body of the Ministry of the Interior of Republic of Slovenia. First, Ministry of the Interior, its services and organizational structure are presented. Focus of the description are police jurisdictions which are specially important at interventions where police does not act on its own but in collaboration with other bodies and institutions. Jurisdictions in events where it intervenes along with the firefighters are presented in detail, i.e. fires and arsons, traffic accidents, natural disasters and search operations. Fire departments, occupation of firefighter and professional firefighter units in Slovenia are described. In the last part of the theoretical part collaboration between police and firefighters in interventions is presented. In the empirical part of thesis we presented the purpose and the aims of thesis as well as survey and interview procedure. We focused on honestly answered questionnaires by 40 firefighters from professional fire brigade from Krško and Novo mesto. We formed five hypotheses which are either approved or disproved after the analysis of the questionnaires. We found out that firefighters are quite satisfied with the work of policemen, especially with mutual relations and successfulness of policemen at interventions and solving common issues. Dissatisfaction was expressed in relation to the cooperation with the police and lots needs to be done in order to improve situation. In the last part of empirical part we presented findings on equality of average values and correlations of different combined variables using discriminant analysis and Pearson coefficient. Key findings of theoretical and practical parts are presented in the thesis conclusion wherein also some comments of the firefighters from the survey are added. Firefighters expressed some disappointment over policemen work in traffic accidents as their first focus is writing fines instead of helping injured persons.

Povzetek Nasilje je razširjen pojav, ki se pojavlja v različnih oblikah. Lahko gre za ponavljajoče, enkratno ali dalj časa trajajoče dejanje, stanje, ki nam povzroči neprijetna čustva. Ženske, otroci, ki doživijo nasilje, so velikokrat prepuščeni sami sebi, brez ustrezne zaščite, pomoči ter podpore. Žrtve je potrebno zaščititi, podpreti, saj ni hujšega, kot da te po storjenem dejanju, napadu rani tudi sistem. Poraja se mi vprašanje, kdo je torej tisti, ki bi moral opozoriti na nasilje. Kako je mogoče spregledati te znake? Verjamem, da se je težko soočiti s takimi težavami. Bolečina, modrica izgine, prizadeto čustvo, ponos ali prepričanje pa je mnogo težje pozdraviti. Pri vsem tem je potrebna posebna pazljivost. Prehitevanje zaradi nepoučenosti in neseznanjenosti z določenim primerom lahko privede do etiketiranja, ki se ga oseba, družina le s težavo otrese in lahko spremlja osebo še dolgo časa. Pomemben korak pri preprečevanju nasilja je odkrivanje le tega. Pomembna je ozaveščenost in izurjenost ljudi, ki so dolžni prijavljati oblike nasilja. Ko se sum pojavi, pa morajo odgovorne institucije stopiti skupaj in ukrepati. Vsaka sprememba zahteva svoj čas in sprejetje v družbi. Potrebno je pomagati žrtvi ne le pri prebolevanju krute izkušnje, temveč predvsem pri nadaljevanju čim bolj kvalitetnega življenja v prihodnosti. Potrebno je sodelovanje in ukrepanje ustreznih organov, saj bo le tako prihajalo do ustreznih ukrepanj in odločitev. Skupaj morajo poslati primerno sporočilo družbi, žrtvam in storilcem kaznivega dejanja. Policija je tisti organ, ki pride v stik z žrtvijo prva, zato je izrednega pomena, da z žrtvijo v dani situaciji »pravilno« ravna. Miti so zelo razširjeni in zakoreninjeni v družbi, kar predstavlja problem pri zagotavljanju ustrezne obravnave žrtve. Predsodkov ne smemo pomešati z dejanskim vedenjem. Vsi ljudje imamo predsodke, vendar to še ne pomeni, da bomo vsi ravnali sovražno, diskriminatorno ali nasilno v odnosu do drugih ljudi. Predsodki po naravi delujejo mimo zavestnega nadzora. Na predsodke vplivajo različni dejavniki, in sicer: frustriranost, ekonomski dejavniki, politični dejavniki, družina, vrstniki, osebnostne izkušnje, znanje, informiranost. Violence is a widespread phenomenon that occurs in many different forms. It can be a single act or repeated violence. It is a state of disturbing feelings. Women or children who experience violence are often left without support, protection or help that they need in order to recover. Victims must be protected and supported, for there is nothing worse than being attacked by the system itself after having experienced the act of violence. The question is: who is the one who should draw attention to violence? How is it possible to ignore the signs of it? I believe that facing such problems is not easy. The pain and the bruises might disappear, but it is much harder to heal hurt feelings, pride or belief. All this requires special care. Rushing due to ignorance and unfamiliarity with a particular case may lead to stigmatization, which can be hard for a person or family to shake off. Detection is an important step towards preventing violence. The awareness and expertness of the people who are required to report forms of violence is of vital importance. When a suspicion arises, it must be the responsibility of the institutions to work together and take necessary action. It takes time for every change to be accepted by society. Not only it is important to help the victims to recover from their awful experience, but it is vital they have additional support to help them go on with their lives. The cooperation and taking action of the authorities is necessary, for only this will result in appropriate actions and decisions. It is their responsibility to send a message to the society, the victims and the offenders. Due to the fact that the police are the first authority which comes into contact with the victim, it is crucial that they take appropriate action. The fact is that there are many myths deeply rooted in society. This often represents a problem with providing adequate treatment of the victim. Prejudices should not be confused with the actual behaviour. Everybody is prejudiced, but that does not mean that everyone would act in a hostile, discriminatory or violent way towards other people. Prejudices exist outside of conscious awareness. There are many factors which influence the prejudices. For example: frustration, economic factors, political factors, family, peers, personal experience, knowledge, acquaintance.

Stališča so naučene predispozicije, s katerimi se odzivamo na določene objekte ali subjekte. Kljub svoji kompleksnosti nam stališča pomagajo razumeti mnenja posameznikov do nekega objekta opazovanja. Stališča se od posameznika do posameznika razlikujejo. Diplomski seminar govori o teoriji stališč in o stališčih lokalnega prebivalstva do prireditve »Maribor – Evropska prestolnica kulture«. Sestavljen je iz dveh delov, in sicer iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu sem opredelila stališča na splošno, ter opisala njihovo oblikovanje, modele stališč, ter metode merjenja stališč. V empiričnem delu sem s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika analizirala stališča lokalnega prebivalstva do prireditve »Maribor – Evropska prestolnica kulture«. Rezultati raziskave temeljijo na priložnostno izbranem vzorcu šestdesetih oseb, ki izhajajo iz Maribora oziroma njegove okolice. Attitudes are learned predispositions. We use attitudes to respond to certain objects or subjects. Despite their complexity, attitudes help us to understand individuals point of view towards an object of observation. Attitudes are different from individual to individual. My graduate paper talks about the theory of attitudes and about attitudes of local population concerning the event »Maribor – European Capital of Culture«. It consists of two parts – theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part I defined attitudes in general, described their formation, attitude models and methods of measuring attitudes. In the empirical part, I used a question survey to analyze the attitudes of local population concerning the event »Maribor – European Capital of Culture«. The results are based on a sample of sixty people from Maribor and its surroundings.

Main purpose of the dissertation is to compare police officers’ and citizens’ attitudes toward various aspects of local safety provision, with the emphasis on community policing, which is currently the main philosophy of policing in Slovenia. Data for the study comes from a survey administred to a sample of police officers and citizens to assess their attitudes on a broad range of issues regarding the provision of safety on the local level as related to Slovene police in general, police effectiveness in various activities, legality of police work and citizens’ willingness to cooperate with the police among others. Within the comparison between citizens’ and police officers’ attitudes, areas of the highest and the lowest degree of concordance between attitudes were identified and examined. Attitudes of police officers and citizens were found to be most dissimilar regarding legality of police work, effectiveness in protecting life, personal safety and property, general perceptions of police and effectiveness in community policing. Overall level of concordance between attitudes of both groups was found to be low. The foci of our further analysis were the factors which influence citizens’ and police officers’ attitudes toward police effectiveness in community policing. Effects of gender, age, education, fear of crime and residency characteristics on citizens’ attitudes were examined, and effects of age, education, participatory management, organizational support, job satisfaction and community support on police officers’ attitudes were examined. Results of regression analysis showed that police visibility, trust in the government, age, fear of crime and length of residency affect citizens’ attitudes toward police effectiveness in community policing, however these variables account only for 30.1 percent of the variation in citizens' attitudes toward community policing. Police officers’ attitudes toward police effectiveness in community policing are affected by age, education, organizational support, job satisfaction and community support. These variables were found to account only for 28.7 percent of the variation in police officers' attitudes toward community policing. Majority of the variation in both groups’ attitudes toward community policing thus remains unexplained. Suggestions for further research and policy implication are provided, focused on inclusion of additional variables into model of police officers’ attitudes and model of citizens’ attitudes. Variables found to affect citizens of both groups toward police effectiveness in community policing by the findings of present research should be taken into consideration by police administrators and local safety policy makers. Glavni cilj doktorske disertacije je primerjava stališč policistov in državljanov do nekaterih vidikov zagotavljanja varnosti na lokalni ravni, s poudarkom na policijskem delu v skupnosti, ki je bilo v Sloveniji uvedeno po letu 1990 kot del procesa demokratizacije in prenosa idej o policijskem delu z Zahoda. Glavno raziskovalno vprašanje se tako glasi: Kakšna je stopnja skladnosti med stališči policistov in stališči državljanov do zagotavljanja varnosti na lokalni ravni, s poudarkom na policijskem delu v skupnosti, ki zahteva dobršno mero sodelovanja med policisti in državljani? Primerjali smo stališča policistov in državljanov glede različnih vidikov zagotavljanja varnosti na lokalni ravni, in sicer splošen vtis o policiji in njihovem delu uspešnost policije pri varovanju življenja, osebne varnosti in lastnine zakonitost policijskega dela uspešnost policije pri odkrivanju in preiskovanju kaznivih dejanj uspešnost policije pri policijskem delu v skupnosti pripravljenost državljanov za sodelovanje s policijo usmerjenost v skupnost in tradicionalna usmerjenost. Drugi del raziskave se nanaša na proučevanje dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na stališča policistov in državljanov do policijskega dela v skupnosti. Identifikacija dejavnikov namreč omogoča vpogled v oblikovanje stališč posamezne skupine z možnostjo vplivanja na spreminjanje stališč v želeni smeri. Glavne ugotovitve doktorske disertacije se nanašajo na primerjavo stališč policistov in državljanov glede različnih vidikov zagotavljanja varnosti v lokalnih skupnostih. Stališča policistov in državljanov so v veliki meri različna, torej je stopnja skladnosti med stališči policistov in stališči državljanov do policijskega dela v skupnosti nizka. Področja, ki so s tega vidika najbolj »problematična«, so: zakonitost policijskega dela, uspešnost policistov pri varovanju življenja, osebne varnosti in lastnine, splošen vtis o policiji in njihovem delu ter uspešnost policistov pri policijskem delu v skupnosti. Na tem mestu izpostavljamo zakonitost policijskega dela, kjer so stališča policistov in državljanov najbolj neskladna. Državljani izražajo dvom v zakonitost policijskega dela, kar v praksi lahko pomeni veliko težavo, še posebej z vidika policijskega dela v skupnosti, ki temelji na sodelovanju prebivalcev njihova pripravljenost je ob upoštevanju izraženega dvoma v zakonitost policijskega dela zagotovo vprašljiva

V diplomski nalogi v teoretičnem delu predstavljamo zgodovinski razvoj policije na območju Republike Slovenije, njeno strukturo in delovanje v današnjem času. Pred-stavljamo naloge Ministrstva za notranje zadeve, generalno policijsko upravo, policijske uprave, policijske postaje. Prav tako opisujemo samo zgodovino in delovanje Policijske postaje Koper. Nadalje predstavljamo pojem »Sodelovanje policije z lokalno skupnostjo«, vlogo in namen sodelovanja, opišemo, kaj v praksi pomeni policijsko delo v skupnosti, ter predstavimo policijsko dejavnost, usmerjeno v reševanje problemov po štiristopenj-skem modelu. V zaključku teoretičnega dela diplomske naloge predstavimo preventivne naloge policije, pojem policijskega okoliša, kaj so dela in naloge policista − vodje policijskega okoliša, prav tako preventivne naloge po različnih področjih, kot so prometna varnost, javna varnost, kriminaliteta ter mejne zadeve in tujci. V drugem, empiričnem delu diplomske naloge predstavimo raziskavo, ki smo jo opravili med ravnatelji in učitelji osnovnih šol v občinah Koper, Piran, Maribor in Kungota, v kateri proučujemo ocene in stališča ravnateljev in učiteljev do dela policije v navedenih občinah. V sled tega smo si postavili sedem hipotez, katere smo primerjali s pridobljenimi rezultati analiz vprašalnikov, zbranih s pomočjo programa SPSS. Ugotovili smo, da ravnatelji in učitelji osnovnih šol v občinah Koper, Piran, Izola, Maribor in Kungota ocenjujejo delo policistov kot dobro, saj so najbolje ocenili združeno spremenljivko »Kvaliteta policijskih preventivnih aktivnosti« in ji podali povprečno zelo visoko oceno 3,98. Kot najslabše ocenjena združena spremenljivka »Varnostno počutje« pa je prejela povprečno oceno 3,24, iz česar gre sklepati, da je podoba policije oziroma delo policistov skozi oči anketiranih ravnateljev in učiteljev v zgoraj navedenih občinah zelo dobra. In this diploma thesis we will discuss the theoretical part of the historical develop-ment of police in the Republic of Slovenia, its structure and functioning today. We will present and describe the work and tasks of the Ministry of Interior, General Police Administration, Police Administration, Police Stations. We will also describe and present the history and operation of the Police Station Koper. Furthermore, we will introduce the concept, role and purpose of police cooperation with the local community. We will describe what in practice police work in the community means, and outline the four-level policing problem-solving model. In conclusion of the theoretical part of the diploma thesis, we will introduce preventive police duties, describe and introduced the concept of a police district, works and tasks of a police officers and police district leader. We will also introduce preventive tasks in various fields such as traffic safety, public safety, criminality, border and foreign affairs. The second part presents a survey which was conducted among principals and teachers of primary schools in the municipalities of Koper, Izola, Piran, Maribor and Kungota, because our purpose considers the estimates and observations of principals and teachers to the police in those communities. As a result, we set seven hypotheses, with which we compare with results obtained by analysis of questionnaires collected by the program SPSS. We found that principals and teachers of primary schools in the municipalities of Koper, Izola, Maribor and Kungota assess the work of police officers as well. As the best estimate the combined variable "Quality of police prevention activities". They gave this combined variable a very high average score of 3.98. As the worst estimated combined variable "Security being" received an average score of 3.24. From this figure is assumed that the image of police and police officers work through the eyes of respondents principals and teachers in the above municipalities are very good.

V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge smo predstavili sodelovanje centrov za socialno delo s policisti ter osnovne pojme in področja, kjer se njihovo delo prepleta. Najprej smo opisali razvoj in organizacijo policije na splošno ter oblike policijskega dela. Nato smo se osredotočili na centre za socialno delo, kjer smo predstavili njihovo vlogo, namen, razvoj in organizacijo. Nekaj besed smo namenili njihovemu delovanju tako s posameznikom kot s skupino. Vse zajete institucije v diplomski nalogi smo tudi na kratko opisali. V zadnjem, vsebinskem sklopu pa smo poiskali področja, kjer se delo policije in centrov za socialno delo najpogosteje srečuje, ter opisali njihovo vlogo in namen. V empiričnem delu smo na vzorcu 40 zaposlenih na centrih za socialno delo Murska Sobota, Ljutomer in Lendava s pomočjo anket ugotavljali, kakšne so ocene in stališča zaposlenih na centrih za socialno delo glede sodelovanja s policisti ter vprašanja razdelili na sedem vsebinskih sklopov, navezujočih se na službene odnose, službeno komuniciranje, reševanje službenih problemov, policijsko poznavanje pooblastil CSD, poznavanje pooblastil policistov, izboljšanje sodelovanja ter interpersonalne kompetence. Naš namen je bil preučevati ocene in stališča zaposlenih na Centru za socialno delo Murska Sobota, Centru za socialno delo Ljutomer ter Centru za socialno delo Lendava do policistov, s katerimi sodelujejo. Naš cilj je bil ugotoviti, kakšne so ocene in stališča socialnih delavcev Centra za socialno delo v Murski Soboti, Centra za socialno delo v Ljutomeru ter Centra za socialno delo Lendava do policistov, s katerimi sodelujejo. Ugotovili smo, da so delavci centrov za socialno delo Murska Sobota, Lendava in Ljutomer zadovoljni z interpersonalnimi kompetencami policistov (aritmetična sredina 3,71), nekoliko manj s službenimi odnosi (aritmetična sredina 3,66), z reševanjem službenih problemov (aritmetična sredina 3,37) in izboljšanjem sodelovanja (aritmetična sredina 3,29), izboljšali pa bi naj policijsko poznavanje pooblastil delavcev CSD (aritmetična sredina 2,99) in poznavanje pooblastil policistov (aritmetična sredina 3,03). Za službeno komuniciranje s policisti in kriminalisti se delavci centrov za socialno delo poslužujejo predvsem telefona. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis presents the cooperation of the centres for social work with the police, and basic concepts and areas where their work is interwoven. Firstly, we described in general the development of the police and their organization, and the forms of police work. Then we focused on the centres for social work and presented their role, purpose, development and organization. We devoted a few words to their work with individuals and groups, and briefly described all the institutions included in this thesis. In the final section, we tried to find areas where the work of the police and the centres for social work is most often interwoven, and described their role and purpose. In the empirical part, a sample of 40 employees at the centres for social work in Murska Sobota, Ljutomer and Lendava served us as the basis for surveys which we used to determine the assessments and views of the employees in the centres for social work regarding their cooperation with the police. The questions were divided into seven topics, focusing on business relationships, professional communication, solving work problems, knowledge of the powers of the centres for social work by the police, the knowledge of police powers, the means for an improvement in cooperation, and interpersonal skills. Our aim was to examine the relationships of the employees in the centres for social work in Murska Sobota, Ljutomer and Lendava with police officers they interact with, and their viewpoints. Our goal was to determine the relationships of the employees in the centres for social work in Murska Sobota, Ljutomer and Lendava with the police officers they interact with, and their viewpoints. We discovered that the employees in the centres for social work in Murska Sobota, Ljutomer and Lendava were satisfied with the interpersonal skills of the police officers (arithmetic mean 3.71), and slightly less satisfied with their professional relationships (arithmetic mean 3.66), solving work problems (arithmetic mean 3.37) and improvement of cooperation (arithmetic mean 3.29) moreover, they said they would like improve the knowledge of the police regarding the powers of the centres for social work (arithmetic mean 2.99) and their knowledge of police powers (arithmetic mean 3.03). In business communication with police officers and criminal investigators, the centres for social work primarily rely on the telephone.

Diplomsko delo govori o stališčih do zaposlovanja žensk v policiji, zgodovini vključevanja žensk v policijsko organizacijo, težavah s katerimi se srečujejo ter o razlikah v stališčih nekoč in danes. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz dveh delov, teoretičnega in raziskovalnega dela. V prvem delu, teoretičnega dela, je predstavljen management na splošno, policijski management, zakonodaja, ki ureja enakopraven položaj žensk v policiji, zgodovina vključevanja žensk v policijo v ZDA, Veliki Britaniji, Nemčiji in v Sloveniji. V drugem delu so predstavljene številne težave s katerimi se srečujejo policistke pri opravljanju svojega poklica, kot so razni stereotipi o policistkah in ženskah na splošno, policijska subkultura, stres, spolno nadlegovanje idr. Tretji del obsega vlogo žensk v policijski organizaciji, primernosti in neprimernosti žensk za policijsko delo ter prednostih in slabostih žensk v policiji. Poleg tega je tu obravnavan tudi odziv moških kolegov in javnosti na ženske policistke nekoč in danes ter predstavljena nekatera združenja policistk (mednarodno, evropsko in slovensko). V raziskovalnem delu so najprej navedene metode dela nato pa še predpostavljene hipoteze. V zadnjem poglavju raziskovalnega dela so predstavljeni rezultati raziskave, ki je bila izvedena na spletu, med splošno javnostjo. S pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika je bilo ugotovljeno, kakšna so stališča javnosti, glede zaposlovanja žensk v policijsko organizacijo danes in ali so se ta do danes spremenila. The diploma paper decribes about the views towards employment of women in police, history of employment of women in police, problems they confront with and about differences between views from the past and from today. It comprises two parts, theoretical part and research part. The first part of theoretical part contains presentation of the police management, acts which arrange women's equal position in police organisation. It also contains the history of employment of women in police in ZDA, Great Britain, Germany and Slovenia. The second part covers various problems, which policewomen have to face with at workplace. Such as stereotypes about female police officers and women, police subculture, stress and sexual harassment and other problems. The third part describes about role of women in police organisation, their adequacy and inappropriateness for policework, advantages and disadvantages of women in police and various associations of female police officers. Feedback of men and publicity of police women are also discussed. At first, the research part describes the methods of research work and than presents the hypothesis of diploma paper. The results of a study made on the internet among the general public are presented in the last part of the research part. Through survey it was found, what are the public's views towards employment of women today and if they have changed.

V teoretičnem delu avtor predstavi obe instituciji, policijo in centre za socialno delo. Najprej se osredotoči na policijo, njeno zgodovino, sestavo in organiziranost. Avtor opiše celotno sestavo policije od ministrstva za notranje zadeve do policista in njegovega dela. Še posebej se osredotoči na potek policistovega dela in vse dejavnike, ki nanj vplivajo. Kot posledico se avtor osredotoči tudi na stres pri policijskem delu. V nadaljevanju opisuje centre za socialno delo, njihovo organiziranost, delovanje in tudi delavca kot osebnost ter dejavnike, ki vplivajo na potek njihovega dela. V tretjem sklopu avtor združi obe instituciji in se osredotoči na njuno sodelovanje in skupne točke. Povzame tudi v skupnost usmerjeno policijsko delo in med obema institucijama prepletajočo se zakonodajo. V empiričnem delu naloge avtor predstavi metode, namene in cilje diplomske naloge ter opis vprašalnika, s pomočjo katerega je lahko določil težave in kasneje rešitve boljšega sodelovanje med policijo in centri za socialno delo. Pri tem se je opiral na pravilno izpolnjene vprašalnike 53 delavk in delavcev centrov za socialno delo občin Velenje, Logatec, Ajdovščina, Piran, Idrija, Krško, Slovenska Bistrica, Ptuj, Grosuplje in Brežice. Postavi si sedem hipotez, ki jih preuči s pomočjo analiz, s pridobljenimi rezultati iz vprašalnikov pa jih kasneje primerja. Na koncu avtor s pomočjo Pearsonovega koeficienta, T-testa in analize variance ugotavlja različne povezanosti. V zaključku avtor povzame ugotovitve, ki jih je pridobil tako v teoretičnem, kot v empiričnem delu, ter predlaga praktične izboljšave oziroma področja, kjer so le te potrebne. In theoretical part of diploma work the author introduces both institutions, the police and the social work centre. At first he focuses on the police, its history, structure and organization. He describes the complete structure of the police, from Ministry of the Interior to police officer and his work. He especially focuses on the course of police officer’s work and all factors that affect it. He focuses also on the stress in police work as the consequence. Next he describes social work centres, their organization, activity, and also the worker as a personality and factors that influence the course of their work. In the third complex the author combines both institutions and focuses their cooperation and similarities. He also summarizes to the community oriented police work and the legislation that intertwines between both institutions. In the empirical part of his diploma work the author introduces methods, purposes and aims of the diploma work and also the description of the questionnaire, used for determination of difficulties and later the solutions for better cooperation between the police and social work centres. He based upon correctly filled questionnaires of 53 workers of social work centres in communes Velenje, Logatec, Ajdovščina, Piran, Idrija, Krško, Slovenska Bistrica, Ptuj, Grosuplje in Brežice. He states seven hypotheses, which he studies by analyses, and compares them with the acquired results from the questionnaires. At the end the author with help of Pearson coefficient, T- test and analysis of the variance establishes different connections. In the conclusion the author summarizes findings, acquired in theoretical and empirical part of diploma work, suggests practical improvements, respectively fields, where these are necessary.

V teoretičnem delu avtorica predstavi instituciji, katerih sodelovanje proučuje v empiričnem delu. Ti dve instituciji sta policija in centri za socialno delo. Avtorica predstavi notranjo organizacijo policije, in sicer generalno policijsko upravo, policijske uprave in policijske postaje. V nadaljevanju govori o temeljnih policijskih nalogah, pozornost pa posveti tudi novi filozofiji opravljanja policijskega dela — v skupnost usmerjeno policijsko delo. V drugem sklopu teoretičnega dela se avtorica posveti centrom za socialno delo. Predstavi metode in področja socialnega dela ter posamezne centre za socialno delo, ki so sodelovali v anketiranju. V zadnjem delu pa nameni pozornost sodelovanju med centri za socialno delo in policijo ter zakonski ureditvi za sodelovanje. Avtorica v empiričnem delu proučuje ocene in stališča zaposlenih na centrih za socialno delo Domžale, Jesenice, Kamnik, Kranj, Radovljica, Škofja Loka in Tržič do sodelovanja s policisti policijskih postaj Bled, Domžale, Jesenice, Kamnik, Kranj, Kranjska Gora, Radovljica, Škofja Loka in Tržič. Posebej se osredotoči na proučevanje kakovosti službenih odnosov, službenega komuniciranja, načina reševanja službenih problemov, poznavanja pooblastil tako centrov za socialno delo kot policije, možnosti izboljšanja sodelovanja in ocen interpersonalnih kompetenc policistov. Na podlagi rezultatov avtorica ugotovi, da je sodelovanje med centri za socialno delo Domžale, Jesenice, Kamnik, Kranj, Radovljica, Škofja Loka in Tržič ter policisti policijskih postaj Bled, Domžale, Jesenice, Kamnik, Kranj, Kranjska Gora, Radovljica, Škofja Loka in Tržič dobro, vendar pa so izboljšave še možne in ne nazadnje tudi potrebne. The theoretical part opens with the presentation of the two institutions whose cooperation will be discussed in the empirical part. The institutions in question are the police force and social work centers. The author describes internal organization of the police force, namely General Police Directorate, Police Directorates and police stations. The paper then identifies the main tasks of the police force and addresses the new police work performance philosophy – community policing approaches. The second part of the theoretical section introduces social work centers. Their methods and work scope are presented and a description of the social work centers that participated in the poll is given. The last part focuses on the cooperation between social work centers and the police force and on legal regulations of such cooperation. The empirical part reviews evaluations and viewpoints of social workers in Domžale, Jesenice, Kamnik, Kranj, Radovljica, Škofja Loka and Tržič, regarding the cooperation with police officers from Bled, Domžale, Jesenice, Kamnik, Kranj, Kranjska Gora, Radovljica, Škofja Loka and Tržič police stations. The author focuses particularly on reviewing the quality of workplace relations, workplace communication, problem solving, familiarity with the powers social centers and polices forces have, the possibilities of improving the cooperation and evaluating interpersonal competence of police officers. Based on these findings the author obverses that cooperation between social work centers Domžale, Jesenice, Kamnik, Kranj, Radovljica, Škofja Loka and Tržič and police officers from Bled, Domžale, Jesenice, Kamnik, Kranj, Kranjska Gora, Radovljica, Škofja Loka and Tržič police stations is good however, improvement is not only possible but necessary.

Cepljenje je javno zdravstveni ukrep, ki je v preteklosti in še danes bistveno pripomogel k zmanjšanju obolevnosti in umrljivosti zaradi nalezljivih bolezni. Z zmanjševanjem klasičnih nalezljivih bolezni se med uporabniki cepljenja pojavlja vprašanje o smiselnosti tega ukrepa. Zato je s stališča javnega zdravja pomembno razumevanje uporabnikov in dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na njihovo odločanje. Odločanje kot tako je kompleksni proces, na katerega vplivajo tako notranji dejavniki posameznika, npr. njegova nezavedna hotenja in želje, kot tudi zunanji dejavniki, npr. sistemski ukrepi, mediji in družba nasploh. Zato motiviranje uporabnikov za cepljenje zajema integrirani niz aktivnosti in eden od načinov vplivanja je tudi socialni marketing, ki temelji na poznavanju stališč uporabnikov. V nalogi s pomočjo teorije in analize stališč najbolj občutljivih uporabnikov cepljenja, staršev, osvetljujem nekatere ključne dejavnike, ki vplivajo na proces odločanja o cepljenju. Analiza stališč uporabnikov je pokazala, da cepljenja podpirajo, so za obveznost cepljenj, odgovornost za to dejanje pa vidijo porazdeljeno med starši, državo in cepiteljem. Tisti starši, ki zaupajo alternativni medicini, izražajo večjo skrb zaradi posledic po cepljenjih. S sistematičnim načinom spremljanja stališč uporabnikov cepljenj, ki bi jih upoštevali pri oblikovanju socialno marketinških programov, bi v Sloveniji počasi le prišli do oblikovanja storitev po meri uporabnika v enem od segmentov zdravstvenega sistema Vaccination is a public health measure used in the past and today and greatly helps to reduce morbidity and mortality from communicable diseases. By reducing the burden of classic infectious diseases, vaccination among users raises questions about the meaningfulness of this measure. Therefore, from the standpoint of public health experts, rises the importance of understanding users and the factors influencing their decisions and behavior. Decision-making as such is a complex process, affected by internal factors of an individual and his unconscious desires and wishes as well as external factors as media and society in general. Therefore, motivating users to vaccinate includes an integrated set of activities and one of the ways to influence includes social marketing, which is based on knowledge of the views of users. In the present work with the help of the theory and analysis of users' views of the most sensitive vaccination users, parents, highlights some key factors that influence the decision making process on vaccination. Analysis of the attitudes of vaccination users showed, that they support vaccination, which should also be mandatory. The responsibility for this action is distributed among parents, state and vaccination providers. Those parents, who rely on alternative medicine, express greater concern about the consequences after vaccinations. The systematic way of monitoring attitudes of vaccination users, should be taken into account when designing social marketing programs in Slovenia. Only in such way there will be the development of services tailored to the vaccination user in one of the segments of the healthcare system.

Slovenska policija je organizirana hierarhično v treh nivojih. Vrh policije sestavlja generalna policijska uprava, srednji nivo policijske uprave, na dnu pa se nahajajo policijske postaje. Na vseh stopnjah organizacije policisti za dosego zakonsko določenih nalog izvajajo tudi represivne oblike policijskega dela, ki pa morajo biti v skladu s pravnimi akti in spoštovanjem človekovih pravic. Če policisti pravice državljanov kršijo, se ti lahko pritožijo na policijo, kjer nadalje steče pomiritveni postopek pri vodji organizacijske enote, v določenih primerih pa se pritožba obravnava na seji senata. Če so kršitve policistov hujše in imajo znake kaznivega dejanja ter je izražena volja oškodovanca, pa zoper policista steče predkazenski postopek. Do leta 2007 so bile za preiskovanje teh kaznivih dejanj pristojne službe notranje zaščite v policiji. Takšna ureditev je dajala videz nepristranskosti, kar je z nekaterimi odločbami potrdilo več sodišč. Zato je bil ustavljen današnji Oddelek za preiskovanje in pregon uradnih oseb s posebnimi pooblastili pri Specializiranem državnem tožilstvu (v nadaljnjem besedilu Posebni oddelek), ki neodvisno od policije in vlade preiskuje vsa kazniva dejanja, ki jih storijo uradne osebe s pooblastili policije v predkazenskem postopku. Ker nas je zanimalo, kakšne so ocene in stališča policistov do njihovega dela, smo med 440 policisti na območju Republike Slovenije opravili empirično raziskavo. Ugotovili smo, da so policisti najbolj zadovoljni z odnosom policistov na Posebnem oddelku, nekoliko manj pa z njihovimi interpersonalnimi kompetencami. Toda ugotovili smo tudi, da tisti, ki so interpersonalne kompetence ocenili visoko, tudi bolj intenzivno opravljajo naloge policije po končanem postopku. Policisti, ki so bili osumljeni kaznivih dejanj, so dokaj zadovoljni s potekom postopka. Vsi policisti pa ocenjujejo, da zmerno intenzivno opravljajo naloge policije tudi v času, ko so v postopku na Posebnem oddelku. Slovenian police is organized as a hierarchy at three levels. The top of the organizational chart consists of General Police Directorate, in the middle there are Police Direcorates and at the bottom there are police stations. On every level the police officers take also repressive measures in order to fulfill certain legally prescribed tasks. However, these measures have to be in accordance with the legal documents and in full respect of human rights. If police officers violate the citizens' rights they may file a complaint to the Police Directorate where the Director starts a procedure towards reconciliation of the parties. In some cases the complaint is dealt with at the senate session. If the violations of the rights by police officers are serious and there are elements of criminal offence and if the victim wants it, then a pre-trial criminal procedure is started. Up to 2007, the authorities responsible for investigating the criminal offences committed by police officers was the Office of Internal Affairs. That way of dealing with criminal offences within the police was not offering enough objectivity and several courts' decisions confirmed the problem. Therefore the Department for Prosecution of Officals with special authorisations was founded within the Specialized Department in the Office of the State Prosecutor General (hereinafter: Specialized Department). It is able to investigate all criminal offences committed by officials with special authorizations independantly from the police and the government in the pre-trial criminal procedure. As we were interested in the police officers' evaluation and views on the work of the Specialized Department, we carried out a research among 440 police officers in Slovenia. The research showed that the police officers see the relationship between them and the officers in the Specialized Department as good, however they are less satisfied with their interpesonal competences. Those who rated the interpersonal competences quite high are also those idividuals who perform their tasks intensively also after the procedure has been completed. The police officers charged with a criminal offence are mostly satisfied with the proceedings. All police officers estimate that they perform their tasks moderately intensively also during the procedure at the Specialized Department.

V teoretičnem uvodu diplomskega dela avtor predstavi Ministrstvo za notranje zadeve in Policijo kot organ v sestavi ministrstva ter razmerje med njima. Nadalje predstavi tronivojsko organiziranost policije, in sicer na državni, regionalni in lokalni ravni. Seznani nas z nalogami in oblikami dela policije ter s policijskim delom v skupnosti s podrobno predstavitvijo elementov njenega dela. V nadaljevanju predstavi socialno delo in organizacijo ter naloge centrov za socialno delo s kratko predstavitvijo posameznih centrov za socialno delo v Slovenj Gradcu, Ravnah na Koroškem, Dravogradu, Gornji Radgoni, Kopru in Novi Gorici. Za lažje razumevanje medsebojnega sodelovanja prikaže policijsko delo v skupnosti (community policing). Teoretični uvod zaključi s poglavjem o sodelovanju centrov za socialno delo in policije, v katerem zajame zgodovino in področja sodelovanja ter elemente socialnega dela pri opravljanju policijske dejavnosti. Avtor predstavi tudi zakonodajno področje, na katerem temelji medsebojno sodelovanje in delovanje policije ter centrov za socialno delo. V empiričnem delu diplomske naloge avtor proučuje, kako na sodelovanje in odnose med delavci centrov za socialno delo in policisti ali kriminalisti vpliva njihovo službeno sodelovanje, službeno komuniciranje, reševanje službenih problemov, policijsko poznavanje pristojnosti delavcev centrov za socialno delo in v kolikšni meri so socialni delavci seznanjeni s pristojnostmi policistov. Avtor hkrati ocenjuje možnosti za izboljšanje sodelovanja ter interpersonalne kompetence policistov ali kriminalistov. V ta namen je opravil raziskavo na vzorcu 42-ih delavcev, zaposlenih na Centrih za socialno delo Slovenj Gradec, Ravne na Koroškem, Dravograd, Gornja Radgona, Koper in Nova Gorica, ki sodelujejo s policisti ali kriminalisti na Policijskih postajah Slovenj Gradec, Ravne na Koroškem, Dravograd, Gornja Radgona, Koper in Nova Gorica. Uporabil je metodo terenske študije in tehniko anketnega vprašalnika. Z raziskavo je potrdil vseh sedem zastavljenih hipotez. Ugotovil je, da bi morali obe organizaciji pogosteje sodelovati na tedenski bazi in določiti način medsebojnega komuniciranja. Organizirati bi morali izobraževanja o spoznavanju pooblastil, nalog in dolžnostih tako ene kot druge institucije in tako doseči skupni željeni cilj, ki je izboljšanje medsebojnega sodelovanja. In the theoretical introduction to this diploma work its author presents the Ministry of the Interior, the Police as a body within the Ministry and the relationship between them. It continues with a presentation of the three-degree organisation of the police at state, regional and local levels. It presents the tasks of the police and police work within a community: the elements of police work within communities are presented in substantial detail. It then presents social work as well as the organisation and tasks of the centres for social work. It provides a short presentation of the centres operating in Slovenj Gradec, Ravne na Koroškem, Dravograd, Gornja Radgona, Koper and Nova Gorica which co-operate with police officers or criminal police at police stations in Slovenj Gradec, Ravne na Koroškem, Dravograd, Gornja Radgona, Koper and Nova Gorica. For a better understanding of this co-operation the author explains »community policing«. The theoretical introduction ends with a chapter which further presents the co-operation between the centres for social work and the police, it gives a historical overview of this co-operation, presents the areas of co-operation and the elements of social work in police activities. The author also presents the legal background on which the co-operation as well as the work of the police and centres for social work are based on. In the empirical part of the diploma the author investigates how the co-operation and the relationship between the employees of the centres of social work and police officers or criminal police are affected by their professional co-operation, professional communication, problem-solving skills in work situations, the police awareness of the powers of the employees of the centres for social work and the awareness of the social workers regarding the police powers. The author assesses the possibilities for improving this co-operation and interpersonal competencies of the police officers or criminal police. For this purpose the author carried out research using a sample of 42 members of staff at the centres for social work Slovenj Gradec, Ravne na Koroškem, Dravograd, Gornja Radgona, Koper and Nova Gorica which co-operate with police officers or criminal police at police stations in Slovenj Gradec, Ravne na Koroškem, Dravograd, Gornja Radgona, Koper and Nova Gorica. The method of field study and a questionnaire were used. The empirical research confirmed all seven hypotheses. The author concludes that both organisations should co-operate more frequently, on a weekly basis and should decide on ways of communication. Staff should be trained in the competencies and the powers of partner organisation. Training should be provided for both organisations as only by knowing the tasks and responsibilities of the partner organisation well, can mutual co-operation improve, which is the aim of both organisations.

Medkulturno zavest je najenostavneje in najučinkoviteje podajati skozi vsebine tujejezikovnega pouka, torej ima razvoj večjezičnosti v otroštvu zelo pomembno vlogo. Namen empiričnega dela diplomske naloge je proučiti večjezično in medkulturno zaznavanje učencev na nižji stopnji osnovne šole na dvojezičnem območju SV Goričkega in slovenskega Porabja. Podrobneje me zanimajo znanje, izkušnje in doživetja, interakcija, odnos in stališča ter poznavanje in odnos učencev 1. in 2. triletja OŠ do jezika sosednjih držav. Pri tem preverjam obstoj razlik med slovenskimi in madžarskimi učenci. Rezultati kažejo, da imajo slovenski učenci več znanja in tujejezikovnega znanja o sosednjih državah kot madžarski. Tako slovenski kot madžarski učenci se strinjajo, da ga največ pridobijo v šoli. Madžarski učenci so v primerjavi s slovenskimi učenci pokazali večjo stopnjo odprtosti do tujega, manj predsodkov in stereotipov. Raziskava je prav tako pokazala, da je poznavanje/nepoznavanje jezika ključni faktor pri vzpostavljanju odnosov ter navezovanju stikov s tujci. Das interkulturelle Bewusstsein ist am leichtesten und am effektivsten durch Fremdsprachenunterricht weiterzugeben, deshalb spielt die Entwicklung der Mehrsprachigkeit in der Kindheit eine sehr wichtige Rolle. Der Zweck des empirischen Teils der Diplomarbeit ist, die mehrsprachige und multikulturelle Wahrnehmung der Schüler in der ersten und der zweiten Triade in den zweisprachigen Regionen im Nordosten Goričko und im slowenischem Porabje zu untersuchen. Mich interessiert insbesondere das Wissen, die Erfahrung, die Erlebnisse, die Interaktion, die Beziehungen und die Einstellungen der Schüler zur Sprache des Nachbarlandes. Im weiteren werden die Unterschiede zwischen den slowenischen und den ungarischen Schülern erfasst. Der Umfrage nach, haben slowenische Schüler im Vergleich zu den ungarischen Schülern, größere Wissens- und Fremdsprachenkenntnisse vom Nachbarland. Sowohl slowenische als auch ungarische Schüler sind der Meinung, dass sie die meisten Wissens- und Fremdsprachenkenntnisse in der Schule bekommen. Ungarische Schüler haben weniger Vorurteile und Stereotypen im Vergleich zu slowenischen Schülern und zeigen eine höhere Offenheit gegenüber dem Nachbarland. Die Umfrage zeigt auch, dass das Wissen/Unwissen von Sprachen ein wesentlicher Faktor für den Aufbau von Beziehungen und Kontakten zu Ausländern ist.

Ljudje smo različni. Različno vrednotimo in ocenjujemo iste stvari. Imamo različne okuse, različne zahteve, obenem pa imamo svoja pričakovanja. Od gostincev in pri njih zaposlenih pričakujemo, da bodo poznali naše zahteve in pričakovanja ter jih brezhibno zadovoljili. Še posebej, ker so nas k njim napotili naši prijatelji oz. družina, ki so bili zelo zadovoljni ali zato, ker je od naše prisotnosti v gostilni odvisen naš družbeni položaj. Prenos informacij med prijatelji in družinskimi člani o gostilni so najpogostejše informacije o gostilni. Za gostince je to brezplačna reklama, ki pa se ne sme izneveriti. Le redki bomo gostincu zaupali, kaj je bilo narobe, bomo pa to povedali drugim. Težko je delati z ljudmi, še posebej, če so vsak dan drugi. Drugi gostje in drugi sodelavci. Zato si gostinci prizadevajo, da pridobijo stalne goste, katerih potrebe in zahteve poznajo in jih zato lažje izpolnijo. Težko se je dati na ogled, vendar je to način, da izveš pomanjkljivosti in dobiš priložnost, da jih odpraviš. Pri gostih pa je to priložnost, da gostincu zaupajo, kaj pogrešajo, kaj pričakujejo in mu izrazijo priznanje. Sodelavci gostinca predstavljajo pomemben del spoznavanja in zadovoljevanja potreb gosta. Če zahteve gosta poznajo, če gostje poznajo njihovo delo, je veliko lažje ohranjati tisto, kar je dobro, in odpravljati napake. People are different. We value and measure differently the same things. We have different tastes, different demands, but at the same time we have our own expectations. From innkeepers and their employees we expect, that they will know our demands and expectations and that they will satisfy them flawlessly. Especially because they were recommended by our friends or family, which were very satisfied with their services or because we are socially ranked by the inns we visit. Transfer of information between friends and family on the inns are the most frequent information on the inn. For inn it is free advertising, but it should never be proven faithless. Only few of us will share our disappointment with innkeeper, but we will share it with others. It is hard to work with people, especially if they change on a daily basis - every day new guests and every day new employees. Therefore the innkeepers try to earn permanent guests, because they know their needs and demands and are therefore easier to fulfil. It is hard to be on sight all the time, but it is the way to learn what your disadvantages are and to get opportunity to improve yourself. At the same time it is also opportunity for guests to gain trusts in innkeeper and to share with him their expectations, what they miss in services and to express their appreciation. Employees of innkeepers are also very important part of recognition and fulfilment of the needs of guests. If they know demands of the guest and if the guest knows their work, it is much easier to keep the good parts and to improve the faults.

Diplomska naloga obravnava stališča do spletnega zmenkovanja. Opredeljuje stališča, njihove komponente, načine merjenja stališč, dejavnike, ki vplivajo na oblikovanje stališč, predstavlja tudi spletno zmenkovanje in empirično raziskavo stališč do spletnega zmenkovanja študentov, ki študirajo v Avstriji. Razdeljena je torej na teoretični (sekundarna raziskava) in empirični del (zbiranje podatkov z metodo spraševanja ter analiza teh s pomočjo statističnih metod in uporabo programa SPSS). Na podlagi sekundarne raziskave sem se seznanila z ozadjem problema, izpopolnila znanja o stališčih in raziskovanju teh. Empirično raziskavo sem osredotočila na ciljno skupino študentov, ki študirajo v Avstriji in proučevala njihova stališča do spletnega zmenkovanja. Rezultati so pokazali, da študenti, ki študirajo v Avstriji nimajo zelo pozitivnih stališč do spletnega zmenkovanja. Obstajajo določene razlike v odgovorih anketirancev med spoloma ter glede na uporabniški status. Izoblikovala sem profil stališč ciljne populacije, ki je lahko na pomoč ponudnikom strani za spletno zmenkovanje ter oglaševalcem, ki se prek teh strani oglašujejo. Bachelor thesis deals with attitudes to online dating. It gives an insight to consumer attitudes, attitude components, calculations and attitude measurements, sources of attitude development and online dating. It also consists of a research on attitudes towards online dating of students who study in Austria. This paper is divided into 2 consecutive parts: theoretical (secondary research) and empirical one (collecting primary data with a survey and analysing it with the usage of statistical methods in SPSS program). With the findings from my secondary research I was able to comprehend the background of the issue in question. Empirical study was focused on attitudes to online dating of a chosen target population (students who study in Austria). Results show that these students don’t really have positive attitudes towards online dating. There were some gender and user status differences in the responses of the respondents. I created an attitude profile for this target group which can be very helpful for online dating providers and advertisers who advertise on these sites.
