In this work, nine fruits cultivated in the northern Amazon were studied: abiu, acerola, araçá, bacupari, biribá, caçarí, fruta-do-conde, graviola and taperebá, with the objective of carrying out a bromatological and nutritional study of the pulps of fruits studied. Of all of them, are the pulps of graviola (76.83 ± 0.02 kcal 100 g-1) bacupari (76.83 ± 0.02 kcal 100 g-1) and fruta-do-conde (46.66 ± 0.02 kcal 100 g-1). Among the macronutrients, the high concentration of potassium stands out, especially in the graviola (541.16 ± 0.24 mg 100g-1) and the biribá (468.21 ± 0.13 mg 100g-1). Among the micronutrients, iron concentrations are representative for araçá pulp (3.04 ± 0.02 mg 100g-1), abiu is rich in zinc (3.71 ± 0.02 mg 100g-1) and manganese (6.61 ± 0.11 mg 100g-1). The presence of cobalt at the level of traces in some of the pulps studied stands out. The Pearson correlation coefficient was evaluated, as well as the statistical treatment by multivariate analysis PCA to establish the correlation between the variables studied.

In D=2+1 dimensions, elementary particles of a given helicity can be described by local Lagrangians (parity singlets). By means of a “soldering” procedure, two opposite helicities can be joined together and give rise to massive spin-s particles carrying both helicities ±s (parity doublets), and such Lagrangians can also be used in D=3+1 to describe massive spin-s particles. From this point of view the parity singlets (self-dual models) in D=2+1 are the building blocks of real massive elementary particles in D=3+1. In the three cases s=1, 3/2, 2 there are 2s self-dual models of order 1,2,…,2s in derivatives. In the spin-3 case the fifth order model is missing in the literature. Here we deduce a fifth order spin-3 self-dual model and fill up this gap. It is shown to be ghost free by means of a master action which relates it with the top model of sixth order. We believe that our approach can be generalized to arbitrary integer spin-s in order to obtain the models of order 2s and 2s−1. We also comment on the difficulties in relating the fifth order model with their lower order duals.

glycoprotein E and the AS01B adjuvant system (called HZ/su) had a clinically acceptable safety profile and elicited a robust immune response. METHODS: We conducted a randomized, placebo-controlled, phase 3 study in 18 countries to evaluate the efficacy and safety of HZ/su in older adults (≥50 years of age), stratified according to age group (50 to 59, 60 to 69, and ≥70 years). Participants received two intramuscular doses of the vaccine or placebo 2 months apart. The primary objective was to assess the efficacy of the vaccine, as compared with placebo, in reducing the risk of herpes zoster in older adults. RESULTS: A total of 15,411 participants who could be evaluated received either the vaccine (7698 participants) or placebo (7713 participants). During a mean follow-up of 3.2 years, herpes zoster was confirmed in 6 participants in the vaccine group and in 210 participants in the placebo group (incidence rate, 0.3 vs. 9.1 per 1000 person-years) in the modified vaccinated cohort. Overall vaccine efficacy against herpes zoster was 97.2% (95% confidence interval [CI], 93.7 to 99.0; P

Home ranges in animals can be estimated by different methods like minimum convex polygons, characteristic hulls or kernels while correlative ecological niche models (ENMs) are commonly employed for forecasting species' ranges. However, ENMs can also model the distribution of individuals if environmental very high spatial resolution data are available. Indeed, remote sensing (RS) can provide images with pixel sizes of few centimetres. Here, we modelled the distribution of individual lizards (Podarcis bocagei) combining aerial‐like photographs recorded with a compact camera and a matrix of temperature/humidity data‐loggers to obtain several environmental layers with very high spatial resolution. We recorded lizards' positions in a 20 × 20 m mesocosm with a high precision GPS device (~10 cm of error), multiple times per day throughout the whole period of daily activity. We built an orthophoto map (pixels of 20 cm2) from camera pictures, a digital surface model, and a land‐cover supervised classification map. We recreated climate‐like variables by combining data‐logger data. For each individual, we calculated the distance to males and females, excluding the focal lizard. We computed individual realized niche models with Bioclim, GAM, GLM, Maxent and random forest. Models attained a very high evaluation score in most cases. The most contributing variables were related to microclimate (isothermality, minimum temperature and humidity) and distance to conspecifics. Our very high spatial resolution models provided robust information on how space is used by each lizard. Correlative models can identify the most suitable areas inside the home range, similar to core areas estimated from kernel algorithms, but allowed better statistical inference. Overall, RS tools generated high‐quality environmental data, and when combined with ENMs, improved the robustness of the predictions on spatial patterns of small terrestrial animals. ZONING , *LABOR market , *PROFESSIONAL ethics , *PHYSICAL therapy , *INTERNSHIP programs - Abstract
The aim of the Supervised Internship is to bring the graduating student closer to reality from a work program, based on theory and practice learned in the classroom. The study, practice of techniques and methods and interaction with patients are fundamental for students to develop a sense of responsibility and professional autonomy. Therefore, the objective of this study was to evaluate the importance of the supervised internship for undergraduates in physical therapy. The methodology used included bibliographical consultations, a data survey, with thirty-four (34) undergraduates in physiotherapy in the 7th, 8th and 9th periods of two private colleges in the western zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The instrument used for data collection was a closed questionnaire containing eight (08) objective questions, adapted from Souza (2007). It is concluded from the results presented that supervised training is extremely important in the training of future professionals in physical therapy, considering the possibility of division of learning, the existence of places to act and develop in practice what has been learned, proximity With the reality of the labor market, the exchange of experiences with other professionals and the choice in the area of performance. Pathogenic variants in known breast cancer (BC) predisposing genes explain only about 30% of Hereditary Breast Cancer (HBC) cases, whereas the underlying genetic factors for most families remain unknown. Here, we used whole-exome sequencing (WES) to identify genetic variants associated to HBC in 17 patients of Brazil with familial BC and negative for causal variants in major BC risk genes (BRCA1/2, TP53, and CHEK2 c.1100delC). First, we searched for rare variants in 27 known HBC genes and identified two patients harboring truncating pathogenic variants in ATM and BARD1. For the remaining 15 negative patients, we found a substantial vast number of rare genetic variants. Thus, for selecting the most promising variants we used functional-based variant prioritization, followed by NGS validation, analysis in a control group, cosegregation analysis in one family and comparison with previous WES studies, shrinking our list to 23 novel BC candidate genes, which were evaluated in an independent cohort of 42 high-risk BC patients. Rare and possibly damaging variants were identified in 12 candidate genes in this cohort, including variants in DNA repair genes (ERCC1 and SXL4) and other cancer-related genes (NOTCH2, ERBB2, MST1R, and RAF1). Overall, this is the first WES study applied for identifying novel genes associated to HBC in Brazilian patients, in which we provide a set of putative BC predisposing genes. We also underpin the value of using WES for assessing the complex landscape of HBC susceptibility, especially in less characterized populations.

- Abstract
Ayahuasca is a natural psychedelic brew, which contains dimethyltryptamine (DMT). Its potential as a psychiatric medicine has recently been demonstrated and its non-medical use around the world appears to be growing. We aimed to investigate well-being and problematic alcohol use in ayahuasca users, and ayahuasca's subjective effects. An online, self-selecting, global survey examining patterns of drug use was conducted in 2015 and 2016 (n = 96,901). Questions were asked about: use of ayahuasca, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) and magic mushrooms; demographics, current well-being and past-year problematic alcohol use of past-year ayahuasca users and comparison drug users; and subjective effects of ayahuasca and comparison drugs. Ayahuasca users (n = 527) reported greater well-being than both classic psychedelic users (n = 18,138) and non-psychedelic drug-using respondents (n = 78,236). Ayahuasca users reported less problematic drinking than classic psychedelic users, although both groups reported greater problematic drinking than the other respondents. Ayahuasca's acute subjective effects usually lasted for six hours and were most strongly felt one hour after consumption. Within our online, self-selecting survey, ayahuasca users reported better well-being than comparison groups and less problematic drinking than classic psychedelic users. Future longitudinal studies of international samples and randomised controlled trials are needed to dissect the effects of ayahuasca on these outcomes.

- Abstract
A laboratory study aiming at the evaluation of the suffusion behaviour of coarse gap-graded soils is presented. Six granular gap-graded soils missing the medium-to-coarse sand fraction have been examined. Four soils have no fines, one has 5% of non-plastic fines, and one has 5% of clayey fines (with plasticity index of about 14%). The use of available methods to assess internal stability of soils suggests that the majority of the selected soils are susceptible to suffusion. Testing has been carried out in the Upward Flow (UF) seepage test. A cylindrical seepage cell is used to impose vertical flow, from the bottom to the top, along a soil specimen with 200 mm-diameter and 150 mm-thick. During an UF test, the hydraulic gradient in the specimen is slowly increased in steps. The observation of the erosion behaviour at the top surface of specimen, together with the evolution of the discharge flow rate, allows determining the hydraulic gradients causing initiation of erosion on top of the specimen and development of suffusion in the soil. Some tests have been conducted with a low friction sheet placed in the inner surface of the test cell, to evaluate the influence of the cell wall roughness in the soil erosion behaviour. A ‘sand boiling’ phenomenon has been observed in soils exhibiting suffusion, resulting in the deposition of the finer particles at the specimen surface. Laboratory testing on soils with no fines clearly shows that the higher the fine sand content the higher the amount of material deposited on the specimen top, but the gradients associated to initiation of suffusion and development of 'sand boiling' also increase. Whenever high hydraulic gradients are not likely to occur, the gap-graded soil with 5% of plastic fines should be more resistant to initiation and development of suffusion than the gap-graded soil with 5% of clayey fines.

- Abstract
Background: Raised blood pressure is an important risk factor for cardiovascular diseases and chronic kidney disease. We estimated worldwide trends in mean systolic and mean diastolic blood pressure, and the prevalence of, and number of people with, raised blood pressure, defined as systolic blood pressure of 140 mm Hg or higher or diastolic blood pressure of 90 mm Hg or higher. Methods: For this analysis, we pooled national, subnational, or community population-based studies that had measured blood pressure in adults aged 18 years and older. We used a Bayesian hierarchical model to estimate trends from 1975 to 2015 in mean systolic and mean diastolic blood pressure, and the prevalence of raised blood pressure for 200 countries. We calculated the contributions of changes in prevalence versus population growth and ageing to the increase in the number of adults with raised blood pressure. Findings: We pooled 1479 studies that had measured the blood pressures of 19.1 million adults. Global age-standardised mean systolic blood pressure in 2015 was 127.0 mm Hg (95% credible interval 125.7–128.3) in men and 122.3 mm Hg (121.0–123.6) in women; age-standardised mean diastolic blood pressure was 78.7 mm Hg (77.9–79.5) for men and 76.7 mm Hg (75.9–77.6) for women. Global age-standardised prevalence of raised blood pressure was 24.1% (21.4–27.1) in men and 20.1% (17.8–22.5) in women in 2015. Mean systolic and mean diastolic blood pressure decreased substantially from 1975 to 2015 in high-income western and Asia Pacific countries, moving these countries from having some of the highest worldwide blood pressure in 1975 to the lowest in 2015. Mean blood pressure also decreased in women in central and eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and, more recently, central Asia, Middle East, and north Africa, but the estimated trends in these super-regions had larger uncertainty than in high-income super-regions. By contrast, mean blood pressure might have increased in

- Abstract
In this international study, we demonstrate that increasing rates of nosocomial bloodstream infections caused by antibiotic-resistant bacteria do not replace infections caused by antibiotic-susceptible bacteria, but occur in addition to these infections, thereby increasing the total burden of disease

- Abstract
© 2017 The Author(s).

247. Understanding the coach-coachee-client relationship: a conceptual framework for executive coaching

- Abstract
Objectives: There is a need for a more comprehensive understanding of how coaching processes psychologically operate. This paper presents the findings from a study aimed to characterise the coaching process experience and to identify how specific experiences contribute to coaching outcomes. Design: A qualitative design was adopted. Data was analysed by Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (Smith, 2008). Method: Data was collected from 10 participants, this included coaches (N = 4), coachees (N = 5) and one commissioner, three times along the coaching process. A total of 30 interviews were undertaken. Findings: Coaching outcomes can be generated by three essential mechanisms: Projection of Future Self; Perspectivation of Present Self; and Confirmation of Past/Present Self. Each mechanism’s name represents a particular effect on coachee’s self and may evolve diverse coaching behaviours. Although they all can be actively managed to generate sustainability of outcomes, each mechanism tends to contribute differently to that sustainability. Conclusion: The study provides a comprehensive understanding of the different methodological and experiential ingredients of the coaching process and its implications. While most coaching research is focused on identifying coaching results based on a retrospective analysis, this is one of the first studies accompanying longitudinally the coaching process and capturing an integrative understanding of its dynamics. Moreover, the study provides evidence of how coaching can differently deliver sustainable outcomes and be used as a valuable developmental tool in organisations. The study contributes to our understanding of theory building and raises questions for further research on the uniqueness of coaching interventions.
