Purpose: To establish a practical and simplified Chinese thyroid imaging reporting and data system (C-TIRADS) based on the Chinese patient database. Methods: A total of 2141 thyroid nodules that were neither cystic nor spongy were used in the current study. These specimens were derived from 2141 patients in 131 alliance hospitals of the Chinese Artificial Intelligence Alliance for Thyroid and Breast Ultrasound. The ultrasound features, including location, orientation, margin, halo, composition, echogenicity, echotexture, echogenic foci and posterior features were assessed. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to investigate the association between ultrasound features and malignancy. The regression equation, the weighting, and the counting methods were used to determine the malignant risk of the thyroid nodules. The areas under the receiver operating characteristic curve (Az values) were calculated. Results: Of the 2141 thyroid nodules, 1572 were benign, 565 were malignant, and 4 were borderline. Vertical orientation, ill-defined, or irregular margin (including extrathyroidal extension), microcalcifications, solid, and markedly hypoechoic were positively associated with malignancy, while comet-tail artifacts were negatively associated with malignancy. The logistic regression equation yielded the highest Az value of 0.913, which was significantly higher than that obtained using the weighting method (0.893) and the counting method (0.890); however, no significant difference was found between the latter two. The C-TIRADS, based on the counting method, was designed following the principle of balancing the diagnostic performance and sensitivity of the risk stratification with the ease of use. To solve the problem that users' retrieval intentions are seldom considered by personalized websites, we propose an improved incremental collaborative filtering (CF)-based recommendation implementation method (ICFR) in this paper. The ICFR model uses one of the most popular recommendation algorithms – the collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm – for personalized websites. This paper first uses a CF algorithm to obtain the relationship between user preferences and recommended content. Second, the browsing behaviour information of users is extracted by analysing Web logs and is then converted into ratings. Finally, an incremental algorithm is designed to update historical user preference data. Based on this established model, we propose some cases for this architecture, which illustrate that the ICFR model is suitable for personalized website recommendations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Motivation T and B cell receptors (TCRs and BCRs) play a pivotal role in the adaptive immune system by recognizing an enormous variety of external and internal antigens. Understanding these receptors is critical for exploring the process of immunoreaction and exploiting potential applications in immunotherapy and antibody drug design. Although a large number of samples have had their TCR and BCR repertoires sequenced using high-throughput sequencing in recent years, very few databases have been constructed to store these kinds of data. To resolve this issue, we developed a database. Results We developed a database, the Pan Immune Repertoire Database (PIRD), located in China National GeneBank (CNGBdb), to collect and store annotated TCR and BCR sequencing data, including from Homo sapiens and other species. In addition to data storage, PIRD also provides functions of data visualization and interactive online analysis. Additionally, a manually curated database of TCRs and BCRs targeting known antigens (TBAdb) was also deposited in PIRD. In view of the serious disconnection between the teaching objectives of Surveying and Cartography course for undergraduate students majoring in urban and rural planning and the practical application requirements, the ideas and measures for experimental teaching reform are put forward. In close combination with the needs of the Urban and Rural planning specialty, the training of spatial information acquisition and analysis ability is taken as the teaching objective so as to reform experimental contents and teaching methods. For means of information acquisition, traditional methods are replaced by the advanced measurement technology, and big data is used as an important source of urban and rural planning information acquisition. As an embodiment of Buddhist medicine and Zhejiang school of TCM gynecology, Zhulinsi Nvke Zhengzhi (Bamboo Forest Temple's Book on Gynecology Pattern and Treatment) enjoys a high academic status in the field of TCM gynecology and even the whole field of Chinese medicine with its long history and far-reaching influence. Based on a research into and understanding of the complete and unique system of the academic thoughts on reproduction in the collection, this paper summarizes the ideas in the following five points, i. e. treating man first, taking tonics, timing fertilization, taking medicine and eating food with caution, and preventing miscarriage. In addition, the paper analyzes the etiology and pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, pattern differentiation and treatment, and medicinals, formulas and their modifications of 14 types of male infertility and 11 types of female infertility discussed in the collection. An overview of the collection is also given concerning such academic thoughts as treating man first, advocating abstinence, and regulating mood, which play an important role in the process of reproduction. Such ancient ideas are still relevant to contemporary clinical treatment of infertility, and thus further clinical research, teaching, and practice are warranted. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Protonic solid oxide fuel cells (p-SOFC) integrated with clean thermal energy sources are promising platforms for decarbonized chemical production in addition to power generation, such as on-purpose propylene production from propane dehydrogenation (PDH). The catalytic performance of the conventional nickel-cermet-based anode materials in p-SOFC for propane conversion is restrained by their low active surface area and proneness to coking. In this work, by integration of a highly efficient industry-relevant thermal catalyst PtGa/ZSM-5 for PDH reaction, we demonstrate that both the electrochemical and catalytic performance of the propane-fueled p-SOFC can be effectively enhanced. The PtGa catalyst integrated p-SOFC exhibits a peak power density of 93 mW cm−2 at 600 °C, which is greater by about 100% and 50% than that without catalyst or with a perovskite-based (Pr 0.3 Sr 0.7) 0.9 Ni 0.1 Ti 0.9 O 3 (PSNT) catalyst layer, respectively. The PDH activity and olefin selectivity of the PtGa catalyst is also significantly higher than that of the PSNT catalyst. In addition, much improved coke tolerance and propylene selectivity (over 90%) compared to the catalyst-free Ni-cermet anode materials were achieved by integrating the industrial catalyst layer. The propane conversion can be further improved by an applied current density, whereas the olefin selectivity is almost unaltered. The excellent performance of the PtGa catalyst integrated p-SOFC is attributed to the high surface area, intrinsically high catalytic activity, selectivity, and anti-coking properties of the catalytic layer for propane conversion. Non-invasive longitudinal monitoring of uric acid (UA) levels in human sweat could enable unprecedented diagnosis, therapy, and prognosis of numerous physiological and psychological conditions with societal and economic impacts. However, state-of-the-art flexible UA sensors are limited by their complicated fabrication processes, sophisticated instruments, expensive raw materials, and unsatisfactory detection performance. In this study, we designed and implemented for the first time a fl e xible p iezo-electrocatalytic ur i c a c id s ensor (EPICS) based on ZnO nanorods. We demonstrated that the EPICS devices achieve a 4-fold enhancement in the UA sensing performance with a small compressive strain (−0.9%), boosted by piezo-electrocatalysis during the electrochemical oxidation of UA on the surfaces of mechanically deformed ZnO nanorods. The EPICS devices exhibited a superior sensitivity of 3.91 µA µM−1 cm−2 and a limit of detection of 0.086 µM, outperforming all reported flexible electrochemical UA sensors. Our design allows the possibility of non-invasive monitoring of UA with a boosted performance by otherwise wasted mechanical energy, such as that from the human body. The fundamental piezo-electrocatalytic principles can also be extended to other piezoelectric materials with catalytic properties for high-performance sensing in the biomedical, pharmaceutical, and agricultural areas. The aim of this paper is to investigate the optimality conditions for a class of nonsmooth multiobjective fractional optimization problems subject to vanishing constraints. In particular, necessary and sufficient conditions for (weak) Pareto solution are presented in terms of the Clark subdifferential. Furthermore, we construct Wolfe and Mond–Weir-type dual models and derive some duality theorems by using generalized quasiconvexity assumptions.
