In view of problem of bigger output ripper existed in intrinsically safe power supply based on single-phase synchronous boost technology, the paper proposed a design scheme of intrinsically safe power supply based on two-phase synchronous boost technology whose output end is added filtering inductances and capacitances. Taking the minimum kindling curve as foundation, it analyzed intrinsically safe performance and made optimal design for circuit parameters of the power supply. The sparking test proved feasibility of design of the power supply.

In this paper, the influence of the combination of last sense codon and stop codon on expression efficiency was studied. By our study, for the last sense codon CCG, the RFI of GFP(CCG) was 2.1 fold when the stop codon was UAA, but in comparison, the RFI was 1.1 fold when the stop codon was changed from UAA to UAG. For last sense codon TAG, the RFI of GFP(TAG) with the stop codon UAG was stronger than that with the stop codons UAA and UGA.

This article examines the role of the sunk cost effect as a commitment device in mitigating the self-control problem and analyzes its implications for optimal contract design. Consumers may anticipate the effect ex ante and strategically use it to mitigate their self-control problems. Although the sunk cost effect may lead to a loss of consumption flexibility in the event of high consumption costs, it can serve as a commitment device to enforce self-control. A firm's optimal policy should balance the consumer's demand for flexibility in consumption with the demand for commitment. Under a simple fixed-fee contract, sunk costs have a nonmonotonic effect on profits for investment goods; that is, profits first decrease and then increase with the sunk cost effect. The firm can use a two-part tariff or a refundable fixed-fee contract to mitigate the sunk cost effect. The elasticities of double-stranded (ds) DNA and RNA, which are critical to their biological functions and applications in materials science, can be significantly modulated by solution conditions such as ions and temperature. However, there is still a lack of a comprehensive understanding of the role of solvents in the elasticities of dsRNA and dsDNA in a comparative way. In this work, we explored the effect of ethanol solvent on the elasticities of dsRNA and dsDNA by magnetic tweezers and all-atom molecular dynamics simulations. We found that the bending persistence lengths and contour lengths of dsRNA and dsDNA decrease monotonically with the increase in ethanol concentration. Furthermore, the addition of ethanol weakens the positive twist–stretch coupling of dsRNA, while promotes the negative twist–stretch coupling of dsDNA. Counter-intuitively, the lower dielectric environment of ethanol causes a significant re-distribution of counterions and enhanced ion neutralization, which overwhelms the enhanced repulsion along dsRNA/dsDNA, ultimately leading to the softening in bending for dsRNA and dsDNA. Moreover, for dsRNA, ethanol causes slight ion-clamping across the major groove, which weakens the major groove-mediated twist–stretch coupling, while for dsDNA, ethanol promotes the stretch–radius correlation due to enhanced ion binding and consequently enhances the helical radius-mediated twist–stretch coupling. Early antiviral treatments, including intravenous remdesivir (RDV), reduce hospitalization and severe disease caused by COVID-19. An orally bioavailable RDV analog may facilitate earlier treatment of non-hospitalized COVID-19 patients. Here we describe the synthesis and evaluation of alkyl glyceryl ether phosphodiesters of GS-441524 (RVn), lysophospholipid analogs which allow for oral bioavailability and stability in plasma. Oral treatment of SARS-CoV-2-infected BALB/c mice with 1-O-octadecyl-2-O-benzyl-sn-glyceryl-3-phospho-RVn (60 mg/kg orally, once daily for 5 days starting 12h after infection) reduced lung viral load by 1.5 log10 units versus vehicle at day 2 and to below the limit of detection at day 5. Structure/activity evaluation of additional analogs that have hydrophobic ethers at the sn-2 of glycerol revealed improved in vitro antiviral activity by introduction of a 3-fluoro-4-methoxy-substituted benzyl or a 3- or 4-cyano-substituted benzyl. Collectively, our data support the development of RVn phospholipid prodrugs as oral antiviral agents for prevention and treatment of SARS-CoV-2 infections.

Due to the sensor technology and classification algorithm, the accuracy of the EEG and the motion signal based classification system are limited. And the motion sensor based interface system cannot show user’s mental activity such as engagement situation, tiredness state and so on, which are very important in education and medical care situations. In this paper, an openBCI and a Kinect sensor based motion classification system are proposed. The experiments results shown that the proposed method are out form the traditional motion or EEG based activity classification systems, and it is expected to develop a novel interactive device for the children and elders based on the integration algorithm.

In the field of chaotic image encryption, the algorithm based on correlating key with plaintext has become a new developing direction. However, for this kind of algorithm, some shortcomings in resistance to reconstruction attack, efficient utilization of chaotic resource, and reducing dynamical degradation of digital chaos are found. In order to solve these problems and further enhance the security of encryption algorithm, based on disturbance and feedback mechanism, we present a new image encryption scheme. In the running-key generation stage, by successively disturbing chaotic stream with cipher-text, the relation of running-key to plaintext is established, reconstruction attack is avoided, effective use of chaotic resource is guaranteed, and dynamical degradation of digital chaos is minimized. In the image encryption stage, by introducing random-feedback mechanism, the difficulty of breaking this scheme is increased. Comparing with the-state-of-the-art algorithms, our scheme exhibits good properties such as large key space, long key period, and extreme sensitivity to the initial key and plaintext. Therefore, it can resist brute-force, reconstruction attack, and differential attack.
