Objective To explore the value of an oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) diagnostic model constructed by using principal component analysis (PCA) to analyze a database of differentially expressed genes in OSCC and to provide a reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods RNA-seq expression data of OSCC and normal control samples were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database, and then, normalized and differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified by R software. DEGs were enriched by Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis to identify their main biological characteristics. 70% of DEGs expression data in RNA-seq were randomly selected as the training set and 30% were selected as the test set. Then, the PCA method was applied to analyze the training set data and extract the principal components (PCs) related to the diagnosis of OSCC in order to construct a PCA model. Then, the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves of PCA models in the training set and the test set were respectively drawn, and the area under curve (AUC) was calculated to evaluate the accuracy of the PCA model in the diagnosis of OSCC. Results RNA-seq expression data of OSCC and normal control samples obtained from TCGA database included 330 samples and 32 samples, respectively. This article investigates the H∞$$ {H}_{\infty } $$ control problem of switched systems with time‐varying delays under asynchronous switching. By reconstructing the switching rule of local controllers and empolying multiple Lyapunov functionals and integral inequalities, sufficient conditions without the constraint between the switching delay and the dwell time of submodes to solve the H∞$$ {H}_{\infty } $$ control problem are derived. In this work, the structure–property relationship of four types of divalent ions doped rutile Zn0.15Nb0.3Ti0.55O2 microwave dielectric ceramics, including Co2+, (Cu0.5Co0.5)2+, (Cu0.5Ba0.5)2+, and Ca2+, were studied. It is found that impurity phases with contents less than 1.5% were identified in Ca2+ and (Cu0.5Ba0.5)2+ doped systems. There are decreased trends of axis length and cell volume along with the decrease of radius of doped ions. The extrinsic factors, including amounts of grain boundaries, and uniformity of grain size distribution, contribute to the development of microwave dielectric properties. More importantly, based on the P–V–L bond theory, it is shown that the variations of bond ionicity, lattice energy, and bond energy are responsible for the dielectric constant, quality factor, and temperature coefficient of resonance frequency, where Nb–O bonds own the largest bond ionicity and bond energy among all the types of bonds, and Ti–O bonds provide about 52% of the total lattice energy. This study provides an idea for further improving the microwave dielectric properties of rutile Zn0.15Nb0.3Ti0.55O2 ceramics by moderating the bond characteristics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Reducing the radiation dose leads to the x-ray computed tomography (CT) images suffering from heavy noise and artifacts, which inevitably interferes with the subsequent clinic diagnostic and analysis. Leading works have explored diffusion models for low-dose CT imaging to avoid the structure degeneration and blurring effects of previous deep denoising models. However, most of them always begin their generative processes with Gaussian noise, which has little or no structure priors of the clean data distribution, thereby leading to long-time inference and unpleasant reconstruction quality. To alleviate these problems, this paper presents a Structure-Aware Diffusion model (SAD), an end-to-end self-guided learning framework for high-fidelity CT image reconstruction. First, SAD builds a nonlinear diffusion bridge between clean and degraded data distributions, which could directly learn the implicit physical degradation prior from observed measurements. Second, SAD integrates the prompt learning mechanism and implicit neural representation into the diffusion process, where rich and diverse structure representations extracted by degraded inputs are exploited as prompts, which provides global and local structure priors, to guide CT image reconstruction. Finally, we devise an efficient self-guided diffusion architecture using an iterative updated strategy, which further refines structural prompts during each generative step to drive finer image reconstruction. Extensive experiments on AAPM-Mayo and LoDoPaB-CT datasets demonstrate that our SAD could achieve superior performance in terms of noise removal, structure preservation, and blind-dose generalization, with few generative steps, even one step only. This study focuses on improving the temperature stability of Zn0.15Nb0.3Ti0.55O2 ceramics through (Nd1/2Nb1/2)4+ ionic substitution. As the substitution contents increase, the Zn0.15Nb0.3Ti0.55O2, ZnTiNb2O8, and NdTiNbO6 phases coexist. Both intrinsic and extrinsic factors contribute to the development of microwave dielectric properties of Zn0.15Nb0.3Ti0.55−x(Nd1/2Nb1/2)xO2 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.25) ceramic. The change in εr value is dominated by dielectric polarization, phase compositions, and their contents, while the Q × f value is sensitive to the states of grain growth, including grain size and size uniformity. Additionally, phase content is another important factor. The temperature compensation effect of ZnTiNb2O8 and NdTiNbO6 phases allows for the regulation of the τf value of Zn0.15Nb0.3Ti0.55−x(Nd1/2Nb1/2)xO2 ceramic from positive to negative sides, with a near-zero τf value achieved when x = 0.245. When sintered at 1100 °C, the Zn0.15Nb0.3Ti0.55−x(Nd1/2Nb1/2)xO2 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.25) ceramic exhibits an εr value of 46.76, a Q × f value of approximately 21,283 GHz, and a τf value of around + 5.67 ppm/°C. A glass frit containing Li2O–MgO–ZnO–B2O3–SiO2 component was used to explore the low-temperature sintering behaviors and microwave dielectric characteristics of tri-rutile MgTa2O6 ceramics in this study. The good low-firing effects are presented due to the high matching relevance between Li2O–MgO–ZnO–B2O3–SiO2 glass and MgTa2O6 ceramics. The pure tri-rutile MgTa2O6 structure remains unchanged, and high sintering compactness can also be achieved at 1150°C. We found that the Li2O–MgO–ZnO–B2O3–SiO2 glass not only greatly improves the low-temperature sintering characteristics of MgTa2O6 ceramics but also maintains a high (quality factor (Q) × resonance frequency (f)) value while still improving the temperature stability. Typically, great microwave dielectric characteristics when added with 2wt% Li2O–MgO–ZnO–B2O3–SiO2 glass can be achieved at 1150°C: dielectric constant, εr = 26.1; Q × f = 34267 GHz; temperature coefficient of resonance frequency, τf = −8.7 × 10−6 /°C. BACKGROUND:Previous studies suggest that low emotional resilience may correspond with increased or over-active amygdala function. Complementary studies suggest that emotional resilience increases with age; older adults tend to have decreased attentional bias to negative stimuli compared to younger adults. Amygdala nuclei and related brain circuits have been linked to negative affect, and depressed patients have been demonstrated to have abnormal amygdala function. METHODS:In the current study, we correlated psychological resilience measures with amygdala function measured with resting-state arterial spin-labelled (ASL) and blood-oxygenation-level-dependent (BOLD) functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) in older adults with and without depression. Specifically, we targeted the basolateral, centromedial, and superficial nuclei groups of the amygdala, which have different functions and brain connections. RESULTS:High levels of psychological resilience correlated with lower basal levels of amygdala activity measured with ASL fMRI. High resilience also correlated with decreased connectivity between amygdala nuclei and the ventral default-mode network independent of depression status. Instead, lower depression symptoms were associated with higher connectivity between the amygdalae and dorsal frontal networks. LIMITATIONS:Future multi-site studies with larger sample size and improved neuroimaging technologies are needed. Longitudinal studies that target resilience to naturalistic stressors will also be a powerful contribution to the field. CONCLUSIONS:Our results suggest that resilience in older adults is more closely related to function in ventral amygdala networks, while late-life depression is related to reduced connectivity between the amygdala and dorsal frontal regions.

To analyze the stability changes of aeronautical ad hoc network (AANET) caused by node failure affecting reaction effectively, an AANET node failure analysis method was proposed. Firstly, the model of business-entity asymmetric dependent network was established based on the characteristics of AANET. Secondly, an improved failure traffic redistribution algorithm was designed to obtain the affected node set. Finally, the AANET affecting impact value was calculated according to the node weight, then the affecting impact degree was determined. The experimental results show that the proposed method has better accuracy in the failure affecting impact analysis of AANET.

Vilazodone is a novel antidepressant agent that combines selective serotonin (5-HT) reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) activity and 5-HT(1A) receptor partial agonist activity. A pilot study was conducted to compare vilazodone (novel compound) and paroxetine (gold standard) on antidepressant effects, tolerability, and inflammation and immune modulation. A 12-week, double-blind, randomized clinical trial was conducted with 56 nondemented older adults diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD). Between-group differences in mood, tolerability, and safety, as well as genomic markers of inflammation and immune modulation, were examined. Both treatment groups demonstrated similar improvement in depressed mood. Leukocyte gene expression profiles demonstrated reduction of specific proinflammatory gene transcripts and bioinformatic indications of reduced nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB), activator protein (AP)-1, and cAMP response element binding (CREB) activity in the vilazodone group compared to the paroxetine group. Transcript origin analyses implicated monocytes and dendritic cells as the primary cellular origins of transcript reductions in the vilazodone-treated group. Vilazodone's antidepressant effects may be associated with reduction of proinflammatory gene expression and immune modulation. Further research is required.
