This paper presents a model of bed arrangement that based on Priority Sort. The arrangement model is then used to adjust the part of the patient's hospital stay of the X hospital. And a model of comprehensive evaluation based on Fuzzy is used to evaluate the arrangement model and the original rule called “FCFS” (First Come First Serve) of the X hospital. Finally, an analysis is given by contrasting the results of comprehensive evaluation, that the arrangement model is much better than “FCFS” .And the model can be widely applied to other fields.

Water samples along water column in the front of dams and samples at 0.5 m below surface water from tributary rivers were collected in July and October, 2007. The water chemistry, concentrations of dissolve inorganic carbon and its carbon isotopic compositions were determined, in order to investigate the geochemical behavior of carbon in the Maotiao River. This study aimed to understand the variations of the concentrations of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) and delta13 C(DIC) during its transport along the cascade reservoirs and river system. The results showed that DIC concentrations in summer were lower than that in autumn. In summer, the DIC concentrations were 1.35-2.84 mmol/L, with an average value of 2.12 mmol/L; and in autumn they fell into 2.03-3.98 mmol/L, with an average value of 2.67 mmol/L. The delta13 CD1 in surface water along Maotiao River ranged from -10.3% per hundred to -5.1% per hundred in summer, with a value of -8.6% per hundred in average, and in autumn, delta3 C(DIC) became more negative, and had a range from -13.0% per hundred to -6.9% per hundred, with an average value of -9.0% per hundred. Generally, DIC in surface water showed a trend to decrease from the upper reaches to lower reaches along Maotiao River, and t3 Cc1 gradually becam me more negative downstream. On the water column, DIC concentrations were higher in hypolimnion, while a delta13 C(DIC) had a reverse trend with higher values occurred in epilimnion. The results indicated that the hydrochemistry of river could be significantly changed by river damming processes. As for carbon, reservoir should be an important place for the transformation among the different carbon species.

Hepatic venous outflow stenosis is an uncommon but serious complication after right lobe living donor liver transplantation (LDLT). Failure to recognize and treat this complication early can result in graft failure and even death. The early diagnosis and management of hepatic venous outflow stenosis has become an important issue.We report a case with this complication treated by endovascular stent placement in the early period after right lobe LDLT and review related reports to explore the possible mechanism.A 44-year-old man with end-stage hepatitis B liver cirrhosis underwent right lobe LDLT. On postoperative day 13, his liver function deteriorated and he developed refractory ascites for maximal diuretic therapy. Hepatic venography showed a stenosis with an element of torsion of the venous drainage proximal to the anastomosis of the right hepatic venous orifice and inferior vena cava. The stenosis was successfully treated by insertion of an expandable metallic stent.The result demonstrates that stent placement for stenosis is safe and effective. We suspect that rapid hypertrophy of an asymmetric right lobe graft may result in hepatic venous outflow stenosis caused by twisting or external compression of the hepatic veins.

In order to construct process routing planning system quickly according to situation of enterprise today, a method of process routing planning system based on PDM (Product Data Management, PDM) was presented. Conception about physical manufacturing cell, logical manufacturing unit, logical machining route and executive process route was introduced. Frame and work flow of system was presented. It was analyzed that the key technology about part information model, system data organization and logical machining route based on knowledge. Some problems can be solved by this method, such as data redundancy and incoherence, low degree information communion, system inefficiency and so on.

To study the classification, possible causes, cure and prevention measures of serious central nervous system (CNS) complications occurring early following liver transplantation.The clinical material records of 347 patients undergoing the orthotopic liver transplantation from July 2001 to July 2006 were analyzed retrospectively. The perioperation risk factors of CNS complications, which might be the primary liver disease, serum sodium level, magnesium level, fluctuation degree of plasma osmolality and serum sodium, function of blood clotting, etc. , were analyzed between patients with serious CNS complications and without neurological complications.A total of 71 (20. 46%) neurological symptoms appeared in 347 postoperative patients who included 6 cases (1. 73%) with serious CNS complications such as cerebral edema, cerebral hemorrhage and central pontine myelinolysis, and of 6 cases, 5 patients died. The morbidity of early serious complications of CNS was higher in patients with decompensate cirrhosis and/or hypersplenism. Compared with the group of no neurological complications, two patients with cerebral hemorrhage suffered from preoperative hypersplenism and worse dysfunction of blood clotting (P0. 05); patients with developed CPM and cerebral oedema had serious hyponatremia history before operation, and intensely fluctuated plasma osmolality showed before and after operation.The onset of serious complications of CNS in recipients of liver transplantation may be intimately related to the primary liver disease, and be associated with chronic hyponatremia, rapid correction of serum sodium concentration, intense increase of plasma osmolality and no prompt rectification of the function of blood clotting during perioperation.

We introduce a novel algorithm to plan recognition using a compact structure called regressive graph. The regressive graph is first constructed to represent the actions that are observed or may happen, the propositions denoting the world state and the goals at each time step, and then it searches a valid plan for each goal achieved. Our approach to plan recognition does not need a plan library, which may cause the problems in searching the plan space of exponential size. Using a regressive method, the algorithm allows more than one action to be observed in one time step, and all the actions that may happen can be maintained so that all the possible goals can be recognized. Last we prove our algorithm is polynomial-space and polynomial-time. And the experiments also show that our algorithm has excellent performance in terms of accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

We used degenerate primers to amplify phospholipase A(2)(PLA(2)) gene by RT-PCR from venom total RNA of Agkistrodon halys Pallas, and screened with B-PLA(2) gene as probe. Finally we isolated three cDNAs containing A-PLA(2) and two other genes showing similar characteristic structure--Asn(49)-PLA(2) and BA-PLA(2). Their complete sequence was determined by bidirectional sequencing and their amino acid sequence was deduced. The amino acid sequence of A-PLA(2) deduced from the cDNA agreed with that determined by protein sequencing except for four residues; Asn(49 )-PLA(2) and B-PLA(2) are very alike (up to 95%), but the Asp(49)-PLA(2) of B-PLA(2) involved in the enzyme reaction is replaced by Asn(49) of Asn(49)-PLA(2). Therefore, it possibly affects the enzyme reaction of Asn(49)-PLA(2). The N-terminus sequence of BA-PLA(2) is highly homologous to B-PLA(2), but its C-terminus sequence is almost the same as A-PLA(2). The successful cloning of these isoenzyme genes not only discloses the structure diversity of PLA(2)(namely DNA modification and recombination), but also provides excellent material for the study of structure-function relationship in PLA(2).

The APLA(2) gene from Agkistrodon halys Pallas has been cloned into the expression plasmid pBLMVL2 and expressed in E. coli RR1. The molecular weight of the expressed product is approximately 14 kD as shown by SDS-PAGE, its expression level is about 30% of the total cellular proteins. The protein was produced as insoluble inclusion bodies. After partially purified by washing the inclusion bodies, the product was denatured and refolded into active form. Then, the expressed APLA(2) was purified by FPLC Superose (TM) 12 and was a single band as shown by SDS-PAGE. The purified expressed protein had specific activity as the native enzyme and cross-reacted with antisera prepared against the native enzyme. The successful expression of the APLA(2) gene from Agkistrodon halys Pallas provides a good basis for further structure-function studies.

Synthetic oligonucleotides were used to amplify phospholipase A(2) (PLA(2)) gene by RT-PCR from total RNA of snake Agkistrodon acutus venom gland. The PCR products were subcloned and positive clones were screened with acidic PLA(2) gene from Agkistrodon halys Pallas. Finally, four cDNAs of PLA(2) isoenzymes were isolated. Their complete sequences were determined by bidirectional sequencing and their amino acid sequences were deduced. They were designated as A.aAPLA(2)I A.aAPLA(2)II A.aBPLA(2) and A.aLys(49)-PLA(2) according to their isoelectric points calculated by computer and special structure characteristics respectively. The amino acid sequence of 1 10 residues of A.aAPLA(2)I deduced from the cDNA is identical to that of acidic PLA(2) which had been isolated from Agkistrodon acutus. A.aLys(49)-PLA(2) is unique because of the usual Asp(49) is replaced by Lys(49), which may lower its enzymatic activity. Their similarity scores were calculated and compared by computer. The successful cloning of these isoenzymes genes may provide more information for the study on structure-function relationship of PLA(2) family.

As a metabolite of arginine-vasopressin, AVP(4-8) has been shown to have potent memory-enhancing activity and induce a series of physiological and biochemical events in rat brain. The technique known as differential display polymerase chain reaction(DD-PCR)was applied to explore genes induced to be expressed differ-ently by AVP(4-8) in rat hippocampus. Nine different primer pairs were used to perform DD-PCR after reverse transcription, and more than ten differential display fragments were observed. The most remarkable different fragment, dd1, was further cloned and sequenced. Homology searching in Genebank showed that dd1 may be a new gene. Moreover, the results from Northern blot confirmed that dd1 is indeed a gene induced by AVP(4-8).

A cDNA encoding acidic phospholipase A(2)I(A.aAPLA(2)I)from Agkistrodon acutus was inserted into a bacterial expression vector and effectively expressed in E.coli RR1. The protein was produced as insoluble inclusion bodies. After partial purification by washing the inclusion bodies with Triton X-100, denaturing and refolding, the renatured recombinant protein was purified by FPLC column Superose(TM)12. The enzymatic acti-vity and platelet aggregation inhibiting effect of the expressed A.aAPLA(2)I is close to those of denatured-refolded native acidic PLA(2) from Agkistrodon halys Pallas, and has the same hemolytic activity as denatured-refolded basic phospholipase A(2) from Agkistrodon halys Pallas. The roles of various amino acid residues in the enzymatic activity and pharmacological activities of phospholipase A2 are discussed.

The cDNA encoding a new A chain of beta-bungarotoxin was cloned from Bungarus multicinctus. It encoded a 27-amino acid signal peptide and a mature protein of 120 amino acids. The mature protein had the same 13 cysteines as the other A chains and shared high homology with them. The cDNA encoding the PLA(2) from Naja naja atra was also cloned by the use of the same degenerate primers. The cDNAs encoding the new A chain and the PLA(2) were highly expressed in E. coli as soluble fusion proteins and purified by affinity chromatography. The two recombinant proteins achieved after digestion by X(a) factor showed weak and strong PLA(2) activity, respectively.

A new method and associating system has been presented to characterize pre-pulses of femtosecond laser using laser filamentation in transparent media. Pre-pluses of the laser system has been measured experimentally and it is in good agreement with the results obtained by third order cross-correlator. This method can be used for fast detection of temporal laser intensity relatively in order to avoid formation of pre-plasmas before laser matter interaction experiments.

Background and Aims An immune imbalance in the cytokine profile exerts a profound influence on the progression of hepatitis B virus (HBV) infections and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The present study evaluated the immune status of T helper (Th) 17 and Th1 cells in patients with HBV-related and non-HBV-related HCC. Methods We randomly enrolled 150 patients with HCC. Blood samples and tissue samples were obtained. The distributions and phenotypic features of Th17 and Th1 cells were determined by flow cytometry and/or immunohistochemistry. In the title molecular salt, C22H21FI+·CF3SO3−, the dihedral angle between the rings of the biphenyl group is 65.6 (1)°. The ring of the mesitylene group is inclined to the fluorobenzene ring at an angle of 86.1 (3)° and the C—I—C bond angle is 97.0 (2)°. In the crystal, extremely short I...O contacts of 2.862 (5) and 2.932 (5) Å occur, due to the strong electrostatic interactions between the I atom and two adjacent trifluoromethanesulfonate counter-ions. There are also C—H...F and C—H...π interactions present: together with the I...O bonds, these result in a three-dimensional network.

In the title compound, C15H19N3O2, the piperazine ring adopts a chair conformation, with its N—C bonds in pseudo-equatorial orientations. The dihedral angle between the C atoms of the piperazine ring and the phthalamide ring system (r.m.s. deviaiton = 0.008 Å) is 89.30 (8)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by C—H...O hydrogen bonds, generating a three-dimensional network and aromatic π–π interactions also occur [centroid–centroid distances = 3.556 (1)–3.716 (1) Å].

Third-harmonic emission from laser filament intercepted by plasma spot is studied by numerical simulations. Significant enhancement of the third-harmonic generation is obtained due to the disturbance of the additional plasma. The contribution of the pure plasma effect and the possible plasma-enhanced third-order susceptibility on the third-harmonic generation enhancement are compared. It is shown that the plasma induced cancellation of destructive interference [Y. Liu et al., Opt. Commun. 284, 4706 (2011)] of two-colored filament is the dominant mechanism of the enhancement of third-harmonic generation.

We report on the generation of millijoules supercontinuum, which covers waveband from ～ 400 nm to ～ 900 nm wavelength, by intense femtosecond laser pulse propagating in 3 mm thick fused silica. The fused silica is placed in front of the geometric focus of incident laser pulse to prevent the breakdown. The dependences of supercontinuum spectrum on incident pulse energy and off-focus distance of medium are investigated in detail. Our work demonstrates that strong supercontinuum can be generated using off-focus pump of solid transparent medium with energetic incident pulses.

Using opened reentrant cone silicon targets, we have demonstrated the effect of micro focusing of fast electrons generated in intense laser-plasma interactions. When an intense femtosecond laser pulse is focused tightly onto one of the side walls of the cone, fast electron beam emitted along the side wall is observed. When a line focus spot, which is long enough to irradiate both of the side walls of the cone simultaneously, is used, two electron beams emitted along each side wall, respectively, are observed. The two beams should cross each other near the open tip of the cone, resulting in micro focusing. We use a two-dimensional Particle-In-Cell code to simulate the electron emission both in opened and closed cone targets. The simulation results of the opened cone targets are in agreement with the experimental observation while the results of the closed cone targets do not show the micro focusing effect.

Mutations of the p53 gene are the most frequent genetic lesion in breast cancer. Here, we examined p53 expression in a unique in vitro model of tumor progression derived from a single breast cancer patient (21T series). While the normal mammary epithelial, fibroblast and mesothelial cells derived from this patient expressed easily detectable functional p53 protein, the primary as well as metastatic tumor cell lines demonstrated a lack of p53 protein synthesis. 21T tumor cells failed to exhibit G1 cell cycle arrest upon exposure to gamma-irradiation, and their growth was suppressed by transfection of a normal p53 cDNA, demonstrating a lack of p53-mediated function in these cells. No p53 gene deletion or rearrangements were detectable. PCR and sequence analysis of the entire coding region of p53 gene revealed a novel mutation, an insertion of a single T within codon 33, which resulted in a frame-shift and early termination. The same mutation was observed in all 21T tumor cell lines. These results demonstrate a tumor cell-specific loss of p53 protein due to a frame-shift mutation, and suggest that p53 loss may occur at a relatively early step in breast tumorigenesis before metastatic seeding or emergence of tumor heterogeneity. In addition, the availability of normal and tumor-derived epithelial cells with known p53 sequences from a single breast cancer patient should facilitate understanding of the p53 regulation in mammary cells.

Supercontinuum generation in air using tightly focused femtosecond laser pulses was investigated experimentally. Broadband white-light emission covering the whole visible spectral region was generated. Spectral broadening extended only to the blue side of the fundamental frequency due to the phase modulation induced by the strong ionization of air. Numerical simulation was also performed to confirm the spectral broadening mechanism. A constant UV cutoff wavelength close to 400 nm was observed in the supercontinuum spectrum. This phenomenon indicated that intensity clamping still plays a role in tight focusing geometry.

The propagation of tightly focused femtosecond laser pulse with numerical aperture of 0.12 in air is investigated experimentally. The formation and evolution of the filament bunch are recorded by time-resolved shadowgraph with laser energy from 2.4 mJ to 47 mJ. The distribution of electron density in breakdown area is retrieved using Nomarski interferometer. It is found that intensity clamping during filamentation effect still play a role even under strong external focusing. The electron density in some interaction zones is higher than 3 × 10(19) cm(-3), which indicates that each air molecule there is ionized.

Studies of femtosecond laser ablation are motivated both by its applications in micromachining and by the need to understand optical damage by intense femtosecond laser pulses. Virtually all of the prior studies have been conducted for the cases in which the ablating laser pulse strikes the surface of the material at normal angle of incidence (AOI). However, in practice, many if not most optical elements are used at oblique AOIs (most commonly at 45O and at Brewster's angle). In spite of the widespread use of optics with oblique incidence of the laser beam, there has been no systematic study reported on the dependence of ablation (or damage) threshold on the AOI for different materials.
