There is a paucity of data on hybrid immunity (vaccination plus breakthrough infection [BI]), especially cell‐mediated responses to Omicron among immunosuppressed patients. We aim to investigate humoral and cellular responses to Omicron BA.4/5 among people living with HIV (PLWH) with/without BIs, the most prevalent variant of concern after the reopening of China. Based on our previous study, we enrolled 77 PLWH with baseline immune status of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 specific antibodies after inactivated vaccination. "Correlates of protection," including serological immunoassays, T cell phenotypes and memory B cells (MBC) were determined in PLWH without and with BI, together with 16 PLWH with reinfections. Higher inhibition rate of neutralizing antibodies (NAb) against BA.4/5 was elicited among PLWH with BI than those without. Omicron‐reactive IL4+ CD8+ T cells were significantly elevated in PLWH experienced postvaccine infection contrasting with those did not. NAb towards wild type at baseline was associated with prolonged negative conversion time for PLWH whereas intermediate MBCs serve as protecting effectors. We uncovered that hybrid immunity intensified more protection on BA.4/5 than vaccination did. Strengthened surveillance on immunological parameters and timely clinical intervention on PLWH deficient in protection would reduce the severity and mortality in the context of coexistence with new Omicron subvariants. Lead halide perovskite nanocrystals have emerged as a promising candidate for next-generation display applications due to their attractive optical properties and low-cost production. However, the environmental stability of perovskite remains a major challenge, hindering their practical applications and scalability for commercialization. In this study, we present an effective method to enhance the stability of CsPbBr3 nanocrystals by coating them with a combination of Al2O3 and a polymer. The unique double protection structure significantly improves their resistance to moisture, heat, and polar solvents. It is worth noting that compared with the ordinary CsPbBr3 nanocrystals, the modified nanocrystals have better stability and higher luminous intensity. After soaking in water for 360 hours, the modified nanocrystals retained 85% of their initial luminous intensity. Under optimal conditions, the luminous intensity of modified nanocrystals increased by 36%. Furthermore, the thermal stability and organic solvent resistance of the nanocrystals are improved compared with the nanocrystals uncoated with Al2O3. The synthesized white light emitting diode using the modified PNCs achieves a color gamut coverage rate of 129% under standard NTSC, and 95% under standard Rec.2020, indicating its potential for future display applications. We evaluated cellular immune responses induced by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) vaccines in an immunized population based on HLA-E-restricted CD8+ T cell epitope identification. HLA-E-restricted SARS-CoV-2 CD8+ T cell nonamer peptides were predicted with software. An HLA-E-transfected K562 cell binding assay was used to screen for high-affinity peptides. IFN-γ enzyme-linked immunospot assays were used to identify HLA-E-restricted epitopes. An HLA-E/epitope tetramer was employed to detect the frequencies of epitope-specific CD8+ T cells. Four CD8+ T cell epitopes on the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 restricted by both HLA-E*0101 and E*0103 were identified. HLA-E-restricted epitope-specific IFN-γ-secreting CD8+ T cell responses could be detected in individuals vaccinated with SARS-CoV-2 vaccines. Importantly, the frequencies of epitope-specific CD8+ T cells in Ad5-nCoV vaccinated individuals were higher than in individuals vaccinated with recombinant protein or inactivated vaccines. Moreover, the frequencies of epitope-specific CD8+ T cells could be maintained for at least 120 days after only one dose of Ad5-nCoV vaccine, while the frequencies of epitope-specific CD8+ T cells decreased in individuals after two doses of Ad5-nCoV vaccine. These findings may contribute to a more comprehensive evaluation of the protective effects of vaccines for SARS-CoV-2; meanwhile, they may provide information to characterize HLA-E-restricted CD8+ T cell immunity against SARS-CoV-2 infection. Previous studies have yielded conflicting results regarding the onset of semantic processing in compound word recognition. This study examined the role of semantics in morphological processing using event-related potentials (ERP) recorded for Chinese compound targets primed by W+M+, W−M+, W−M− (W = whole-word semantics, M = morpheme meaning, + = congruent, and − = incongruent), semantically related and unrelated primes. Two experiments were conducted. In Experiment 1 of a masked priming lexical-decision task (SOA = 50 ms), EEG results demonstrated that the brain was sensitive to semantic information as early as between 100 and 250 ms. In Experiment 2 of an unmasked priming lexical-decision task (SOA = 200 ms), data confirmed early semantic access. The two EEG experiments also showed that the semantics of constituent morphemes may have little bearing on compound recognition. A Zinc phthalocyanine-based (ZnPc–PA) polymeric micelle around 70 nm and with dual-modal PTT/PDT functions for non-antibiotic bacteria eradication was developed. It showed an excellent bacterial killing efficiency of 95.2% and 96.7% in vitro against Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and its biofilm, respectively. Hierarchical self‐assembly of synthetic polymers in solution represents one of the sophisticated strategies to replicate the natural superstructures which lay the basis for their superb functions. However, it is still quite challenging to increase the degree of complexity of the as‐prepared assemblies, especially in a large scale. Liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) widely exists in cells and is assumed to be responsible for the formation of many cellular organelles without membranes. Herein, through integrating LLPS with the polymerization‐induced self‐assembly (PISA), a coacervate‐assisted PISA (CAPISA) methodology to realize the one‐pot and scalable preparation of hierarchical bishell capsules (BCs) from nanosheets with ultrathin lamellae phase (sub‐5 nm), microflakes, unishell capsules to final BCs in a bottom‐up sequence is presented. Both the self‐assembled structure and the dynamic formation process of BCs have been disclosed. Since CAPISA has combined the advantages of coacervates, click chemistry, interfacial reaction and PISA, it is believed that it will become a promising option to fabricate biomimetic polymer materials with higher structural complexity and more sophisticated functions. Using data from interviews with 111 reading policy actors from California, Connecticut, Michigan, and Utah, this study explains how individuals acquire central positions in issue networks. Regression analyses showed that the greater a policy actor's reputed influence was and the more similar their preferences were to other members in the network, the more central an actor was in a state reading policy network. The findings suggest that reading policy actors were forming relationships with other actors to gain access to influential organizations that have resources that political actors themselves may not possess--irrespective of policy preferences. In addition, the results indicate that central actors in an issue network may indeed hold the minority or majority opinion--marginalization due to divergence is not a given.
