This study aims to find out the parents’ involvement on their children’s’ educational attainment in mathematics from the teachers’ perspective in particular. The qualitative approach was actively employed. Besides, a sample of experienced teachers and educators was taken. The sample consists of 13 male and female teachers with whom the notion of parents’ involvement was discussed, challenges of parents’ involvement, to what extent it might be effective, the purpose of parents’ involvement and how parents could be helpful to the academic staff throughout the educational process, and the impact of such involvement on the value system. In accordance with the research results; all teachers were in favour of parents’ involvement. Parents’ involvement, according to the interviewed teachers, is vital for the success of the educational process. Some teachers, however, viewed parents’ involvement as a threat to the school staff, i.e. they prefer a controlled level of involvement that does not preach the teacher’s own work space and freedom. Some teachers expressed the problem with parents’ involvement in the fact that some parents lack the necessary level of awareness. Based on the research findings; I recommend a broader parents’ involvement. The prior is in favour of children’s educational attainment. Besides, specialized courses for parents should be seriously considered in order to raise their awareness. In the Negev region, for instance, parents’ involvement is extremely limited due to polygamy, work burden and other social problems.

By following the evolution of situated practices and concepts of educational leadership, the transformation of the Regional Centers for the Professions of Education and Training in Morocco, from a local management mode to a regional management mode, has inspired us to characterize the new style of leadership practiced within these centers. For this, we took a sample of the Center of the Casablanca-Settat Region as a megalopolis. The eleven other centers in Morocco have the same institutional framework and the same regional operating logic. To collect data characterizing the leadership practiced in terms of building the center’s commitments on a vision and values, we targeted the management and teachers, as the main actors of this leadership, through an online questionnaire. To validate certain information, we used the center’s database. In terms of our work, we ended up with a form of leadership, which we called “satellite leadership”, allowing each annex or provincial branch—of a Regional Centers for the Professions of Education and Training—to develop its local leadership while evolving with the changing orbit of regional leadership. This new configuration allows us to conclude on the possibility of carrying this style of educational leadership, at the national or international level, on any educational structure bringing together sub-structures grouped.

This study aims to examine the key factors that drive the success of Fraser & Neave (F&N). The data collection was by referring to the company’s official website and other related websites. Identified key success factors are innovation, consumer’s health and safety, creating value for society, talent management, and sustainable sourcing. These empirical findings provide new insights for the management of F&N about the antecedents of governing talent development. This study also provides a breakdown of F&N's strategic pillars and factors affecting those strategies, which can be utilized by management for future decision making to achieve their goals.

Introduction: Knee Osteoarthritis is a condition that frequently occurs in elderly which has a major impact on the elderly’s disability. As a degenerative disease, knee osteoarthritis occurs due to cartilage damage which is then accompanied by inflammation, pain, stiff joints and muscles thereby limiting the range of motion. This research aims to compare the effect of Kinesio taping and a combination of myofascial release and Kinesio taping intervention on ROM improvement in elderly with knee osteoarthritis.Methods: This study applies a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent group approach. Goniometer is applied as a measurement instrument. 25 people participated in this study who were recruited through purposive sampling. The sample was then divided into 2 groups which were given treatment 3 times a week in one month. The control group with Kinesio Taping treatment consisted of 14 samples and the case group with a combination treatment of myofacial release and Kinesio taping consisted of 11 samples. Furthermore, data analysis was performed with the Shapiro Wilk test, Wilcoxon rank test, and the Mann-Whitney test using SPSS version 25.Results: The comparison test results show that the significance value of p yields 0.6> 0.05, therefore H1 is rejected, and H0 is accepted. The interpretation of these results is that there is no significant difference between the effects of Kinesio taping and the combination of myofacial release and Kinesio taping on increasing ROM in the elderly with the risk of knee osteoarthritis.Conclusion: This study shows that there is no significant difference in the effect of the treatment of Kinesio taping and the combination of myofacial release and Kinesio taping in increasing ROM in the elderly with osteoarthritis.

Latar Belakang: Puskesmas Wapunto dengan jumlah ibu hamil 263 dan yang melakukan K1 Murni sebanyak 81,88%, K1 Akses 93,3% dan cakupan K4 78,45%.Puskesmas Wapunto meskipun memiliki capaian cakupan rata-rata di atas 75% tetapi belum sesuai dengan target yang ditetapkan, adapun target yang ditetapkan Puskesmas Wapunto 100% ibu hamil diharapkan melakukan pemanfaatan antenatal care.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan,sikap dan motivasi ibu hamil dengan pemanfaatan pelayanan antenatal care diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Wapunto Kabupaten Muna Tahun 2022. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional study.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan (p value = 1,000>0,05), sikap (p value = 0,620>0,05) dengan pemanfaatan pelayanan Antenatal Care. Sebaliknya ada hubungan signifikan antara motivasi (p value = 0,001 0.05), attitudes (p value = 0.620> 0.05) and the use of Antenatal Care services. On the other hand, there is a significant relationship between motivation (p value = 0.001

The main global cause of death in the world is non-communicable diseases (NCDs). One of NCD is hypertension. Increased hypertension during the Covid-19 pandemic is associated with risk factors for lifestyle changes, social restrictions, lack of physical activity, and stress. Therefore, a remote blood pressure control system is needed to monitor the patient’s health status. The purpose of writing this literature review is to provide an overview of health care practices with remote monitoring of blood pressure of hypertension patients based on online management with telemonitoring. the method used is scoping review with the inclusion criteria of articles were published from 2017 – 2021, used the research designs of Randomized Control Trial and Study Experimental, and were published in English and Indonesian. Articles selections were using PRISMA Flow Diagram 2009 and selection for eligibility were using. The Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal. Four articles were included in the study and 1037 articles were excluded from the study. It was found that telehealth blood pressure monitoring carried out in hypertensive patients was home and online blood pressure management, TASMINH (Telemonitoring and Self-Management in the Control of Hypertension), and scale-up blood pressure. Telemonitoring was found to be significant in reducing and monitoring patients with home care-based hypertension Self-Monitoring Blood Pressure (SMBP) at home using a digital sphygmomanometer accompanied by direct monitoring of doctors and nurses via the internet can be a solution for monitoring blood pressure during a pandemic.

Pesalakan merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Kutowinangun, Kebumen yang memiliki potensi melinjo melimpah, namun belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal sehingga tim KKN 316 mengusung program kerja pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan melinjo tersebut. Tujuannya yaitu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan masyarakat Pesalakan dalam memanfaatkan potensi melinjo. Metode yang digunakan yaitu melalui sosialisasi dan praktik pembuatan teh kulit melinjo. Hasil yang dicapai yaitu menghasilkan produk teh kulit melinjo guna memanfaatkan potensi lokal dan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan serta keterampilan masyarakat dalam pengolahan kulit melinjo menjadi teh. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh ibu-ibu PKK, karangtaruna, dan pelaku UMKM dengan antusiasme yang tinggi. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan sosialisasi dan praktik pembuatan teh kulit melinjo ini berdampak positif dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat, serta harapannya teh kulit melinjo dapat terus diproduksi secara berkelanjutan.

The usage of Formaldehyde as a food additive is a common problem. It is used on food so it can preserve it and lessen the wastes to earn profit. The usage is high, around 26.6% from 517 samples that did not meet BPOM RI standard in 2019. There should be training about the dangers of Formaldehyde and the method of detecting it in foods. The methods used in this program include the distribution of food additives (including Formaldehyde), showing participants how to make simple test kits, with or without help. The instrument used is a Google Form questionnaire. Sixty students from SMPIT An-Nahla Al-Islamy attended this event. From sixty students, 76.27% of the respondents show interest and enthusiast about the event. 75% understood the information about the misuse of Formaldehyde as food additives. All respondents stated that they now know how to detect Formaldehyde. 88.9% of the respondents agreed on the effectiveness of the training method and understood it. Abstrak Penggunaan formalin sebagai bahan tambahan makanan jenis preservasi atau pengawet merupakan masalah yang masih marak dijumpai di lingkungan masyarakat. Penggunaan preservasi pada bahan konsumsi ditujukan agar makanan yang dijual mempunyai waktu jual yang panjang sehingga mengurangi frekuensi pembuangan barang jual yang meningkatkan keuntungan bagi para penjual. Penggunaan formalin pada barang konsumsi masih cukup tinggi yaitu sekitar 26.6% dari 517 sampel yang ditemukan tidak memenuhi syarat oleh BPOM RI. Mengetahui statistik ini maka diperlukan adanya pelatihan tentang bahaya bahan tambahan pangan formalin dan cara deteksi makanan yang mengandung formalin. Metode yang digunakan untuk kegiatan ini adalah dengan memaparkan materi mengenai bahan tambahan pangan termasuk formalin, melakukan demonstrasi pembuatan kit uji formalin sederhana, terakhir partisipan membuat kit uji formalin dengan pendamping. Instrumen yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini yaitu angket yang diisi oleh partisipan melalui media Google Form. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh 60 orang siswa SMPIT An-Nahla Al-Islamy. Data yang diperoleh dari angket menunjukkan 76,27% responden antusias dan tertarik dengan kegiatan, dengan tingkat pemahaman sebesar 75% dalam informasi mengenai penyalahgunaan formalin dalam bahan tambahan pangan, 100% responden menyatakan mengetahui pendeteksian formalin setelah mengikuti kegiatan, dengan 88,9% responden menyatakan metode pelatihan efektif dan dapat dipahami dengan baik.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian transaksi pagang gadai di Kabupaten Solok Selatan dengan perspektif studi ilmu akuntansi syariah. Pagang gadai ini merupakan transaksi pinjam meminjam dengan menyertakan barang jaminan yang memiliki manfaat ekonomis untuk melindungi kepentingan kedua belah pihak. Sejatinya pagang gadai dimaksudkan sebagai sarana tolong-menolong dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat sebelum maraknya diperkenalkan pinjaman berbasis syariah di Kabupaten Solok Selatan. Pagang gadai ini dipercayai telah diaplikasikan sejak puluhan tahun silam di tengah-tengah kearifal lokal masyarakat Minangkabau, namun ternyata setelah dianalisa lebih lanjut terdapat sebanyak 95% transaksi pagang gadai yang diaplikasikan di Kabupaten Solok Selatan tidak sesuai dengan tuntunan berdasarkan maqashid akuntansi syariah dan peraturan pemerintah. Sungguh sangat disayangkan transaksi pagang gadai yang seharusnya bermanfaat untuk saling membantu sesama manusia telah di praktikan sebagai transaksi yang cendrung mengandung riba yang sangat diharamkan dalam keuangan islam.

Kekerasan pada anak bukanlah fenomena yang baru di Indonesia dan sering dijumpai di kehidupan masyarakat. Di Kabupaten Majene berdasarkan data Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Majene dalam rentang waktu dari bulan agustus hingga oktober telah tercatat 8 kasus kekerasan terhadap anak. Tujuan dilakukan pendampingan kepada masyarakat penerima bantuan Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai hak-hak anak, menjelaskan mengenai kekerasan perlakuan salah, serta menjelaskan jenis, contoh dan dampak kekerasan pada anak. Kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan menggunakan metode penyuluhan berdasarkan hasil koordinasi dengan pendamping PKH Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Majene. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa masih terdapat beberapa perilaku kekerasan terhadap anak yang terjadi di masyarakat karena kurangnya pemahaman mengenai hak dan perlindungan anak. Pelaksanaan kegiatan penyuluhan ini di berikan ke masyarakat sebagai upaya menambah wawasan dalam mencegah kekerasan pada anak. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini dapat dilihat dari antusiasnya peserta menulis dan membacakan rencana pengaplikasian materi pencegahan kekerasan pada anak yang telah disampaikan. The researcher's purpose is to determine how to implement teaching supervision in the school. This research approach is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The data sources in this study are principals, vice principals, and teachers—data collection techniques are in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, redaction, presentation, and conclusion. They check the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results showed that: 1) the implementation of teaching supervision using teaching supervision planning is carried out by holding a principal meeting with the team and teachers to determine the aspects assessed by making a schedule for the implementation of teaching supervision, using a directive, collaborative and non-directive approach, using unique techniques or class visits, as for the evaluation of learning carried out during the implementation of teaching supervision, namely seeing The presence of the teacher when teaching to students as well as photos at the time of learning as evidence that the teacher carries out the learning process. 2) obstacles faced in the implementation of teaching supervision, namely, the lack of teacher readiness regarding administration related to learning tools, feeling uncomfortable or unwell towards fellow teachers, and the lack of supporting facilities in the implementation of teaching supervision, such as learning media related to in focus.

Fish farming with adaptive cages is an alternative for developing fishery business activities in coastal areas. The purpose of this study was to analyze the potential for developing adaptive fish cages farming as a form of adaptation to the impact of tidal flooding and climate change. This research was conducted in Bandengan Village, Pekalongan City from July to August 2022. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with purposive sampling and then a SWOT analysis was carried out. The results showed that the water quality parameters at the aquaculture location were still feasible and suitable for fish farming activities. Then, for harvest productivity indicators, it was still quite appropriate and profitable for this operational business cycle. Furthermore, from the analysis of internal business factors identification, 6 elements of strength and 4 elements of weakness affected the operation of fish farming. Meanwhile, from the identification of external business factors, there were 5 elements of opportunity and 2 elements of threats that could affect the operational aquaculture cycle. From the results of SWOT matrix analysis, by comparing the elements of business opportunities, weaknesses, strengths, and threats, a comparison point was obtained between 2.04 and 1.38, or it was in first quadrant in SWOT matrix, meaning good strength to be developed further. In conclusion, fish farming activities with the concept of adaptive cages were very feasible and profitable to be developed in coastal areas that are vulnerable to tidal flooding and climate change effects.Key words: Coastal, Climate change, Development, Fish aquaculture, SWOT

Most of the technology from universities (PT) related to technological innovation often fails to enter the market. This problem then becomes the basis and object of improvement in technology-based entrepreneurial practices (technopreneurs). Learning is carried out through Independence Learning Campus Independence (MBKM) which converts courses according to training subjects in collaboration with PUI UNS and BPPT. This practice is a model of participatory and collaborative learning, in which students are directly involved in solving existing case studies and act as perpetrators of technology commercialization and become technopreneurs. Students are initially given training materials in accordance with the curriculum and direct learning from existing tenants. As a result, through this learning process, students can design business process proposals that exist in tenants. The success of this learning method was assessed based on technopreneur analysis from students in answering problems faced by tenants based on aspects of product technology innovation, product development, business development, and its implementation at BMC. One of the tenants who is the object of the case study in this study is the start-up PT. EKM who have problems with the commercialization of technology in the case of konverter kit products.

Membrane-based technologies have been widely used for surface water treatment. Yet, many aspects of this technology can still be improved. This study aims to develop polyethersulfone (PES)-based phase-inverted membranes to improve the morphological structure, antimicrobial properties, and performance by incorporating Poloxamer 188 and patchouli oil as the dope solution additives. The performance of the membrane was assessed for filtration of well water and by evaluating the turbidity rejection. This study used a phase inversion technique in the membrane manufacturing process with PES, PES + P188 + 1 wt% PO, PES + P188 + 3 wt% PO, and PES + P188 + 7 wt% PO. The characteristics of the obtained membranes were studied in terms of structure and morphology, microbial growth prevention, hydrophilicity, filtration flux, and ability to reduce the turbidity of well water samples. Results show that the addition of Poloxamer 188 and patchouli oil in the dope solution turned the membrane more porous (up to 73.24% increase in porosity) and more hydrophilic (the water contact angle (WCA) was lowered from 70 to 37°). The additives also increased the antibacterial properties of the membrane, as shown by up to 97.5% reducing Escherichia coli colonies on the membrane surface. Overall, the results demonstrate significant improvements in the characteristics and performance of PES membranes by incorporating Poloxamer 188 co-polymer and patchouli oil as additives in the dope solution. The modified membrane was successfully applied to remove turbidity from a water sample. The turbidity parameters in well water samples could be fully reduced in nine out of ten samples by the membrane containing 7 wt% PO additives.

Membrane properties are highly affected by the composition of the polymer solutions that make up the membrane material and their influence in the filtration performance on the separation or purification process. This paper studies the effects of the addition of pluronic (Plu) and patchouli oil (PO) in a polyethersulfone (PES) solution on the membrane morphology, membrane hydrophilicity, and filtration performance in the pesticide removal compound in the water sample. Three types of membranes with the composition of PES, PES + Plu, and PES + Plu + patchouli oil were prepared through a polymer phase inversion technique in an aqueous solvent. The resulting membranes were then analyzed and tested for their mechanical properties, hydrophilicity, antimicrobial properties, and filtration performance (cross-flow ultrafiltration). The results show that all of the prepared membranes could reject 75% of the pesticide. The modification of the PES membrane with Plu was shown to increase the overall pore size by altering the pore morphology of the pristine PES, which eventually increased the permeation flux of the ultrafiltration process. Furthermore, patchouli oil added antimicrobial properties, potentially minimizing the biofilm formation on the membrane surface.
