In this paper, we study the behavior of perfect fluid and massless scalar field for homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type I universe model in $f(R,T)$ gravity, where $R$ is the Ricci scalar and $T$ is the trace of the energy-momentum tensor. We assume the variation law of mean Hubble parameter to obtain exact solutions of the modified field equations. The physical and kinematical quantities are discussed for both models in future evolution of the universe. We check the validity of null energy condition and conclude that our perfect fluid solution can behave like phantom model. Finally, we find that perfect fluid solutions correspond to massless scalar field models., Comment: 23 pages, 13 figures

In this paper, we investigate the nature of self-interacting potential that can support the accelerated expansion of the universe as indicated by observational data. For this purpose, we consider the Bianchi type I (BI) universe model in the Brans-Dicke (BD) field scenario and use a power law for both the scalar field and the scale factor. It is found that the accelerated expansion of the universe can be discussed for a positive power law potential with negative values of the BD parameter. We also explore the evolution of energy density perturbations. The energy conditions are derived in the context of $f(R,T)$ gravity, where $R$ is the Ricci scalar and $T$ is the trace of the energy-momentum tensor, which can reduce to the well-known conditions in $f(R)$ gravity and general relativity. We present the general inequalities set by the energy conditions in terms of Hubble, deceleration, jerk and snap parameters. In this study, we concentrate on two particular models of $f(R,T)$ gravity namely, $f(R)+\lambda{T}$ and $R+2f(T)$. The exact power-law solutions are obtained for these two cases in homogeneous and isotropic $f(R,T)$ cosmology. We obtain the equations of motions of the $f(T)$ theory considering the Lema\^itre-Tolman-Bondi's metric for a set of diagonal and non-diagonal tetrads. In the case of diagonal tetrads the equations of motion of the $f(T)$ theory impose a constant torsion or the same equations of the General Relativity, while in the case of non-diagonal set the equations are quite different from that obtained in GR. We show a simple example of an universe dominated by the matter for the two cases. The comparison of the mass in the non-diagonal case shows a sort of increased with respect to the diagonal one. We also perform two examples for the non-diagonal case. The first concerns a black hole solution of type Sshwarzschild which presents a temperature higher than that of Schwarzschild, and a black hole in a dust-dominated universe., Comment: 21 pages

This paper is devoted to study the charged perfect fluid cylindrical gravitational collapse. For this purpose, we find a new analytical solution of the field equations for non-static cylindrically symmetric spacetime. We discuss physical properties of the solution which predict gravitational collapse. It is concluded that in the presence of electromagnetic field the outgoing gravitational waves are absent. Further, it turns out that when longitudinal length reduces to zero due to resultant action of gravity and electromagnetic field, then the end state of the gravitational collapse is a conical singularity. We also explore the smooth matching of the collapsing cylindrical solution to a static cylindrically symmetric solution. In this matching, we take a special choice of constant radius of the boundary surface. In this paper, we take dust matter and investigate static spherically symmetric solution of the field equations in metric f(R) gravity. The solution is found with constant Ricci scalar curvature and its energy distribution is evaluated by using Landau-Lifshitz energy-momentum complex.
