Les néologismes formels véhiculent une diversité de fonctions dans l'acte communicationnel. Ces fonctions peuvent être envisagées différemment selon que l'on s'intéresse au français contemporain hexagonal ou à une variété de français comme c'est le cas en Afrique, où le français interagit localement avec une multiplicité de langues. Au Burkina Faso par exemple, le français, qui est la langue officielle nationale, cohabite avec 59 langues africaines, dont trois ont un statut véhiculaire, i.e. le dioula, le moré et le foulfouldé, de même qu'avec d'autres langues internationales telles que l'anglais, l'allemand et le chinois. Considérant cela, l'étude des fonctions des néologismes doit alors être effectuée sous l'angle de la variation diatopique du français dans un contexte sociolinguistique multilingue et multiethnique. L'étude a été conduite suivant une approche basée sur la lexicologie, la morphologie et la sociolinguistique. Le corpus étudié est constitué de 50 000 articles de journaux burkinabè en ligne, parus entre 2011 et 2019. Les néologismes et leurs contextes d'apparition dans les textes ont été identifiés au moyen de la méthode d'Extraction automatique des néologismes Extranéo. Extranéo combine l'étiqueteur morphosyntaxique TreeTagger avec les lexiques DELA et Morphalou pour identifier les néologismes candidats puis extrait les contextes d'apparition à l'aide de patrons morphosyntaxiques basés sur des marqueurs de glose. La description morpholexicologique de chaque néologisme a permis d'attribuer à chacun diverses informations linguistiques, dont le cycle de vie. Le croisement de ces descriptions montre que les néologismes présents dans la presse écrite burkinabè en ligne répondent à des fonctions de valorisation des langues africaines, de cohésion sociale et d'enrichissement du français. Ces résultats permettent de dire qu'en plus d'être un signe de la vitalité du français du Burkina, les néologismes sont des facteurs de cohésion et de promotion d'une ident

One way to reduce the use of synthetic chemical pesticides and antibiotics is to replace them with plants possessing such properties. While many species have been identified for animal, plant and human health, observations show that some species are predominantly used for one or more of these health purposes, such as neem (Azadirachta indica, Meliaceae). As for synthetic products, the excessive or incorrect use of these plants presents a risk of harmful toxicity for humans and their environment. To limit this risk, we create a Knowledge Based System (KBS) named Knomana. This software system allows to explore knowledge bases in order to generate new knowledge, using Artificial Intelligence methods. In September 2021, Knomana contained 46300 descriptions of plant uses in experimental conditions or common practices, related to 81 countries, and extracted from 462 scientific articles. In total, 2540 plant species are listed to protect a hundred organisms (crops, aquatic or terrestrial animals, humans) against 216 species of organisms (Bacteria, Chromista, Eukaryota, Fungi, Insecta, and Viruses). The financial development support of the Artificial Intelligence methods for Knomana is provided by the Digital Agriculture Convergence Lab (https://www.hdigitag.fr/) and the project SmartFCA (ANR-21-CE23- 0023/). The project Santés-Territoires (https://santes-territoires.org), recently launched in Senegal, will build transdisciplinary plant selection criteria considering, among others, active ingredients, toxicity on human being, and impact on biodiversity. Thanks to these criteria, Knomana will propose local plants as alternatives to pesticides, antibiotics, and the most predominantly used plants. Le développement massif des palmeraies industrielles et villageoises s'est réalisé en suivant un dispositif de plantation en culture pure du palmier à huile (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.). Cependant, divers systèmes de culture alternatifs ont émergé, dans lesquels sont associés des cultures et des animaux à diverses phases du cycle de culture du palmier. En attribuant à cette plante un statut équivalent à celui d'un arbre, ces systèmes correspondent à des systèmes agroforestiers. Dans cette étude, trente-neuf systèmes agroforestiers à base de palmier à huile ont été identifiés dans le monde à partir de la littérature, de la consultation de sites internet et d'enquêtes. Cinq types de systèmes agroforestiers ont émergé : i) l'agropastoralisme, correspondant à l'introduction d'élevage pendant la phase productive du cycle de culture du palmier ; ii) l'agroforesterie traditionnelle africaine à base de palmiers et de cultures vivrières ; iii) l'agroforesterie temporaire avec des cultures vivrières en palmeraie juvénile ; iv) l'agroforesterie permanente avec des cultures pérennes ; et enfin v) des prototypes de systèmes agroforestiers à base de palmiers sélectionnés, conçus par des institutions de recherche et développement, souvent à la demande d'entreprises agricoles ou d'agro-industries. La description spatio-temporelle de ces systèmes a permis de mettre en évidence les services écosystémiques rendus par les espèces associées. Diverses perspectives de développement de l'agroforesterie sont discutées en tant qu'alternative aux palmeraies monospécifiques, pour introduire de la biodiversité dans des territoires historiquement spécialisés en élaeiculture, pour initier du développement élaeicole en zones suboptimales, ou encore pour s'adapter au changement climatique.

Structural elements of building have to meet a multitude of requirements. Besides the static load bearing capacity, common requirements are the structural integrity and efficiency during the construction stage and sufficient fire resistance. Within the French CIFRE research project COMINO, an innovative type of composite beam was developed for buildings beams with a span of 6 -12m, which need fire resistance until 2 hours with no additional supports at construction stage. The developed solution is composed of a steel U-section acting as a formwork in construction stage for a reinforced concrete part that provides the fire resistance. In the exploitation stage, the steel and the reinforced concrete are acting together as a composite beam. In construction stage, when the concrete is not hardened and thus the stabilizing effect is not present, the steel beam, is subjected to Lateral-Torsional Buckling. In order to investigate the structural behaviour of the new developed steel section in construction stage, a single full-scale test has been carried out at the Laboratory of Structural Engineering of the University of Luxembourg. This article focuses on the stability of the steel beam made of thin-walled steel parts without considering any stabilizing effect. The test results are then compared to the results of numerical investigations and to the analytical solutions of EN 1993.

Data cleaning is a process that precedes data mining. Particularly, in our dataset on pesticidal plant use, several types of anomalies were identified, ranging from incorrect values to a lack of data susceptible of causing users to draw wrong conclusions during its exploration. Literature presents three methods based on Formal Concept Analysis (FCA), i.e. implication rules computation, association rules computation, and attribute exploration, that may allow the detection and correction of anomalies. This paper evaluates 30 FCA-based software and their apposite features to the development of an anomaly detection and correction method applicable to our dataset. Results show that only ConExp and its reimplementations provide all three methods. Since the data model on plant use is relational but ConExp only allows formal contexts as input, this paper concludes on the importance of integrating Relational Concept Analysis (RCA) with ConExp in future work.

Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) aims at classifying a set of objects described by Boolean attributes as a concept lattice. Among the various FCA extensions, Relational Concept Analysis (RCA) supports multiple binary relationships between several sets of objects. Using such relational data, RCA builds interconnected conceptual structures, i.e. concept lattices or AOC-posets. Analyzing data can benefit from exploring these interconnected structures by navigating from one concept to another. Navigation can be performed within the same structure through the classification links or from one concept of a conceptual structure to a concept of another one through one of the relations linking the lattices. This paper presents RCAviz1, an online tool which aims to support such navigation. Once the user has selected a subset of objects and attributes as a starting point for navigation, RCAviz presents the associated concept and its close neighbors. Each concept includes the objects and attributes it introduces. The user can then navigate, i.e. zoom and pan the current view, and move from one concept to another. Additional views show the previous and next conceptual structures. The history allows the user to browse its navigation.

Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) and its extensions have shown their efficacy and relevance in various application domains. We recently conducted a set of experiments using Relational Concept Analysis and FCA in the domain of agro-ecology. This motivated the development of a library named FCA4J, which includes Java implementation of algorithms to build structures and implications and to manage data, in particular relational context families. This paper presents the main features of FCA4J, its ecosystem, and a few use cases.
