202. Diverse Soliton Structures of the (2+1)-Dimensional Nonlinear Electrical Transmission Line Equation

Abstract

In this work, the (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear electrical transmission line equation (NETLE) is investigated by applying three recent technologies, namely, the variational approach, Hamiltonian approach, and energy balance approach. Diverse exact soliton solutions such as the bright, bright-like, kinky bright, bright-dark soliton, and periodic soliton solutions are successfully constructed. The outlines of the different solutions are shown in the form of the 3-D plot with the help of the Wolfram Mathematica. It reveals that the used methods are concise and effective and are expected to provide some inspiration for the study of travelling wave solutions of the PDEs in physics.

Abstract

In order to solve problems of slow tracking speed and poor accuracy of the maximum power point tracking technology such as fixed voltage method, incremental conductance method and so on used in photovoltaic power system at present, a variable step size incremental conductance algorithm was proposed. For controlling grid current and DC bus voltage of photovoltaic power system, a new method was design by use of input output feedback linearization control technology, which allows control of both power factor and DC bus voltage using the same control algorithm. The model of photovoltaic power system was established and simulated based on the variable step size incremental conductance algorithm and input-output feedback linearization control technology in Matlab/Simulink, and the results showed that using the input-output feedback linearization control technology to control inverter makes changes of solar irradiation and temperature do not affect power factor of power grid, and the variable step size incremental conductance improves dynamic and static performances of the photovoltaic power system and reduces the total harmonic distortion of current in the power grid.

246. High-TcSingle-Component Organosilicon Ferroelectric Crystal Obtained by H/F Substitution

Abstract

Organic single-component ferroelectrics are highly desirable for their low molecular mass, light weight, low processing temperature, and excellent film-forming properties. Organosilicon materials with a strong film-forming ability, weather resistance, nontoxicity, odorlessness, and physiological inertia are very suitable for device applications related to the human body. However, the discovery of high-Tcorganic single-component ferroelectrics has been very scarce, and the organosilicon ones even less so. Here, we used a chemical design strategy of H/F substitution to successfully synthesize a single-component organosilicon ferroelectric tetrakis(4-fluorophenylethynyl)silane (TFPES). Systematic characterizations and theory calculations revealed that, compared with the parent nonferroelectric tetrakis(phenylethynyl)silane, fluorination caused slight modifications of the lattice environment and intermolecular interactions, inducing a 4/mmmFmm2-type ferroelectric phase transition at a high Tcof 475 K in TFPES. To our knowledge, this Tcshould be the highest among the reported organic single-component ferroelectrics, providing a wide operating temperature range for ferroelectrics. Moreover, fluorination also brought about a significant improvement in the piezoelectric performance. Combined with excellent film properties, the discovery of TFPES provides an efficient path for designing ferroelectrics suitable for biomedical and flexible electronic devices.

Abstract

We theoretically study the optical absorption of a Fröhlich polaron in monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDS) on different polar substrates using the Devreese-Huybrechts-Lemmens model, in which both the surface optical phonon modes induced by the polar substrate and the intrinsic longitudinal optical phonon modes have been taken into account. We find that the optical absorption occurs only as the energy of incident photon exceeds the energy of optical phonon. The behaviors of absorption are determined by the interplays between the strength of electron-optical phonon coupling and the energy of optical phonon. The amplitude of absorption can be tuned directly by the internal distance between TMDS and polar substrates.
