The aim of this study is to develop a comprehensive quality assessment method for Acanthopanax senticosus using near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy combined with machine learning algorithms. A qualitative discriminant analysis model was established to distinguish the samples of Acanthopanax from different habitats, and overall prediction accuracy was more than 85%. Moreover, a partial least squares regression (PLSR) model was built to predict the response values of Acanthopanax senticosus at each retention time, with the Acanthopanax senticosus dataset serving as the Y matrix and the NIR spectral dataset serving as the X matrix. The transformed Acanthopanax senticosus fingerprint closely matched the actual fingerprint, exhibiting a high average similarity between the predicted and measured fingerprints for test set samples (Pearson correlation coefficient = 0.8553, cosine similarity = 0.8627). The results of the cluster analysis demonstrated a high level of consistency. Converting NIR spectral fingerprints into HPLC fingerprints enhanced interpretability and more clearly displayed the components responsible for the diversity among samples from different origins. Meanwhile, the partial least squares regression (PLSR) model and support vector machine regression (SVR) model for the prediction of the contents of moisture, total solids, protocatechuic acid, syringin and chlorogenic acid contents were successfully established. The NIR spectra of Acanthopanax senticosus can accurately predict the values of moisture, total solids, protocatechuic acid, syringin and chlorogenic acid content, in which the RMSEP values for PLSR and SVR are 0.176, 0.812, 0.003, 0.026, and 0.007 and 0.182, 0.797, 0.003, 0.025, and 0.006, respectively. The predicted values of the five chemical compounds were 6.09–7.81, 4.8–9.5, 0.003–0.036, 0.066–0.233 and 0.015–0.055. Overall, the results indicate that this rapid quality evaluation system can be utilized for the quality control of Acanthopanax senticosus. The approaches used in this work can be used to identify the compound contents and provenance of herbal medicines and food for quality control measurements, potentially for online and field analyses. Hydrophobic coatings were fabricated on 400-mesh 304 stainless steel by combining hydrothermal treatment and chemical modification. The hydrophobicity of the surfactant coatings was evaluated. The fabricated coatings were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, contact angle measurements and X-ray diffraction. The results revealed that a hydrophobic coating with a water contact angle of 154∘ could be successfully synthesized under specific conditions: a concentration of 0.005mol⋅L−1 C12H25SO4Na and subsequent modification with a 1mol⋅L−1 ethanol stearate solution for 24h. As an important carrier of sports services and the main force participating in the "short board" project of urban development, the renovation and upgrading of old stadiums have become an important trend for the sustainable development of venues in the context of urban renewal, consumption upgrading, and national fitness. However, owing to the complexity of the transformation process, the probability of safety accidents continues to increase, posing a serious threat to national property security. In order to reasonably evaluate the safety of the stadium renovation construction process and reduce the incidence of accidents in the renovation project, this study proposed a safety evaluation model for the stadium renovation construction based on the combination weighting extension model. First, according to the 5M1E theory, 27 influencing factors were selected, a safety evaluation index system for stadium reconstruction construction was constructed, and the safety evaluation grade of the index was quantified. Second, based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and improved entropy weight method, the combination weight of the index was determined, and a safety evaluation model was constructed using the matter–element extension theory. Finally, the established evaluation model was applied to the example of stadium renovation, and the construction safety level of the renovation project was obtained. The research results showed that the model has strong operability, and the evaluation results are reasonable and reliable, providing a new concept for the safety control of stadium reconstruction construction. The transition bimetallic oxide catalyst demonstrates the ability to activate peroxymonosulfate (PMS), generating oxidative active groups and facilitating room temperature reactions, all at a relatively low cost. The freeze-drying method was successfully utilized to obtain CuFe2O4 to boost peroxymonosulfate activation to degrade rhodamine-B dye. The catalyst underwent characterization through XRD and SEM. The impact of various reaction parameters, such as initial pH value and PMS dosage on the degradation of rhodamine-B, was examined. The results revealed that the CuFe2O4 catalyst obtained via freeze-drying method as the precipitant exhibited uniform and regular particle characteristics, remarkable crystallization degree, high purity, enormous specific surface area, and an absence of impurity functional groups. Additionally, the prepared CuFe2O4 material showcased enhanced catalytic performance. To carry out the catalysis process, the rhodamine-B concentration was set at 20 mg·L−1, with an amount of 200 mg·L−1 of CuFe2O4 material used. The optimal pH was determined to be 9.0, while the ideal PMS concentration was found to be 1.0 mmol·L−1. With the rapid development of nuclear energy, the contamination of environmental water systems by uranium has become a significant threat to human health. To efficiently remove uranium from these systems, three types of silica-based polyamine resins—SiPMA-DETA (SiPMA: silica/poly methyl acrylate; DETA: diethylenetriamine), SiPMA-TETA (TETA: triethylenetetramine), and SiPMA-TEPA (TEPA: tetraethylenepentamine)—were successfully prepared, characterized, and evaluated in batch experiments. Characterization results showed that the silica-based polyamine resins were successfully prepared, and they exhibited a uniform shape and high specific surface area. SiPMA-DETA, SiPMA-TETA, and SiPMA-TEPA had nitrogen contents of 4.08%, 3.72%, and 4.26%, respectively. Batch experiments indicated that these adsorbents could efficiently remove uranium from aqueous solutions with a pH of 5–9. The adsorption kinetics of U(VI) were consistent with the pseudo-second-order model, indicating that the adsorption process was chemisorption and that adsorption equilibrium was achieved within 10 min. SiPMA-TEPA, with the longest polyamine chain, exhibited the highest adsorption capacity (>198.95 mg/g), while SiPMA-DETA, with the shortest polyamine chain, demonstrated the highest U(VI) adsorption efficiency (83%) with 100 mM Na2SO4. SiPMA-TEPA still removed over 90% of U(VI) from river water and tap water. The spectral analysis revealed that the N-containing functional groups on the ligand were bound to anionic uranium–carbonate species and possibly contributed to the adsorption efficiency. In general, this work presents three effective adsorbents for removing uranium from environmental water systems and thus significantly contributes to the field of environmental protection. Scientific and reasonable satisfaction evaluation is an excellent way to understand the effects of building (structure) renovation and public satisfaction. This study presents a satisfaction evaluation of civil air defense engineering renovated into cooling place from the perspective of public experience. First, a satisfaction evaluation indicator system was constructed for civil air defense engineering renovated into cooling place from the perspective of public experience, focusing on 5 first-level indicators—location condition, spatial status, physical environment, service management, and emotional experience—and 27 second-level indicators. Second, the matter-element extension and combined weighting method were introduced to establish a satisfaction evaluation model for civil air defense engineering renovated into cooling place from the perspective of public experience. Finally, the rationality of the index system and feasibility of the evaluation model were verified by considering civil air defense cooling centers as examples. This research can provide a basis for the further optimization of such projects and the development and management of cities, as well as new ideas or methods for the satisfaction evaluation of similar old buildings (structures) after renovation. Gas extraction is crucial for coal mine safety, yet pipeline blockages by solid slag and water severely hinder efficiency and pose risks. Traditional detection methods are limited by rapid signal attenuation and noise interference. In this study, an acoustic detection technology is introduced for pipeline blockages, utilizing sensors at potential blockage points to collect sound wave data. Experiments with a scaled pipeline model reveal that slag blockages produce characteristic peaks in the 1200 Hz–2000 Hz range, while water blockages show peaks in the 1 kHz–2 kHz and 3.5 kHz–4.5 kHz bands. The longitudinal blockage intensity and extraction pressure significantly affect the sound pressure levels. A reliable fitting model predicts the blockage intensity based on acoustic signals, achieving high accuracy. This novel method enhances blockage identification, offering a non-invasive, cost-effective solution that improves coal mine safety and efficiency. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
