Objective: The clinical management of catatonia has always been a focus of psychiatric nursing. Unfortunately, there is still limited research on the risk factors and nursing methods for patients with catatonia and bacterial pneumonia. Few studies have identified and analyzed the clinical risk factors for catatonia patients with bacterial pneumonia. This study aims to explore the risk factors and preventive nursing measures for pneumonia in patients with catatonia. Methods: A total of 88 patients with catatonia treated in the emergency department of a psychiatric hospital from January 2019 to October 2021 were selected. They were divided into bacterial pneumonia group (n=17) and non-pneumonia group (n=71) based on whether they had pneumonia. The demographic data and clinical characteristics of the two groups were compared. Logistic regression analysis and point-biserial correlation were used to analyze the risk factors for developing pneumonia in patients with catatonia. Results: The incidence of pneumonia in patients with catatonia was 19.32%. Correlation analysis showed that age (r=0.216, p=0.043), The Activities of Daily Living Scale (ADL) score (r=0.265, p=0.013), cell count of white blood (r=0.591, p<0.001), neutrophil count (r=0.599, p<0.001), percentage of neutrophils (r=0.311, p=0.003), C-reactive protein (r=0.558, p<0.001), bedridden days (r=0.470, p<0.001), and albumin level (r=-0.288, p=0.007) were significantly associated with pneumonia. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that smoking, bedridden days, family support, and nutritional status were risk factors for pneumonia in patients with catatonia. Conclusion: Reducing smoking and bedridden days, improving nutrition, and providing timely preventive nursing care by family members can reduce the occurrence of pneumonia in patients with catatonia. The experiment aimed to explore the optimal planting patterns for maize silage in the arid regions of Northern Shaanxi Province. Three different mulching cultivation patterns were set up: Inter-ridge mulching (MJ), double furrow mulching (SG), and full-film double ridge and furrow sowing (QM), with non-mulched flat cultivation (CK) as the control. The soil water and thermal conditions, as well as the yield and water use efficiency of silage maize under different planting patterns were measured. The results showed that compared to CK, all mulching planting patterns were able to increase the average soil water content in the 0~60 cm soil layer and increase the average soil temperature in the 0~20 cm soil layer. They also increased the plant height, stem thickness, and dry matter accumulation of silage maize at harvest, with fresh and dry forage yields increasing by 13.35%~41.22% and 30.17%~50.80%, respectively. The water use efficiency for biological fresh weight and biological yield water use efficiency were improved by 12.10%~40.31% and 28.75%~50.24%, respectively. The forage grading index of SG and MJ was significantly higher than that of CK (P<0.05). The study indicates that the MJ planting pattern, while ensuring yield and quality, reduces the use of mulch film and increases the recovery rate of residual film, which is conducive to promoting the green and sustainable development of agriculture and is suitable for the cultivation of silage corn in this region. The limited oxidation stability of ether solvents has posed significant challenges for their applications in high‐voltage lithium metal batteries (LMBs). To tackle this issue, the prevailing strategy either adopts a high concentration of fluorinated salts or relies on highly fluorinated solvents, which will significantly increase the manufacturing cost and create severe environmental hazards. Herein, an alternative and sustainable salt engineering approach is proposed to enable the utilization of dilute electrolytes consisting of fluorine (F)‐free ethers in high‐voltage LMBs. The proposed 0.8 M electrolyte supports stable lithium plating‐stripping with a high Coulombic efficiency of 99.47 % and effectively mitigates the metal dissolution, phase transition, and gas release issues of the LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 (NCM811) cathode upon charging to high voltages. Consequently, the 4.5 V high‐loading Li||NCM 811 cell shows a capacity retention of 75.2 % after 300 cycles. Multimodal experimental characterizations coupled with theoretical investigations demonstrate that the boron‐containing salt plays a pivotal role in forming the passivation layers on both anode and cathode. The present simple and cost‐effective electrolyte design strategy offers a promising and alternative avenue for using commercially mature, environmentally benign, and low‐cost F‐free ethers in high‐voltage LMBs. The utilization of hybrid aqueous electrolytes has significantly broadened the electrochemical and temperature ranges of aqueous batteries, such as aqueous zinc and lithium‐ion batteries, but the design principles for extreme operating conditions remain poorly understood. Here, we systematically unveil the ternary interaction involving salt‐water‐organic co‐solvents and its intricate impacts on both the atomic‐level and macroscopic structural features of the hybrid electrolytes. This highlights a distinct category of micelle‐like structure electrolytes featuring organic‐enriched phases and nanosized aqueous electrolyte aggregates, enabled by appropriate low donor number co‐solvents and amphiphilic anions. Remarkably, the electrolyte enables exceptional high solubility, accommodating up to 29.8 m zinc triflate within aqueous micelles. This configuration maintains an intra‐micellar salt‐in‐water setup, allowing for a broad electrochemical window (up to 3.86 V), low viscosity, and state‐of‐the‐art ultralow‐temperature zinc ion conductivity (1.58 mS cm−1 at −80 °C). Building upon the unique nature of the inhomogeneous localized aggregates, this micelle‐like electrolyte facilitates dendrite‐free Zn plating/stripping, even at −80 °C. The assembled Zn||PANI battery showcases an impressive capacity of 71.8 mAh g−1 and an extended lifespan of over 3000 cycles at −80 °C. This study opens up a promising approach in electrolyte design that transcends conventional local atomic solvation structures, broadening the water‐in‐salt electrolyte concept. Background. In pediatric patients with severe COVID‐19, if the respiratory support provided using high‐flow nasal cannula (HFNC) becomes insufficient, no definitive evidence exists to support the escalation to noninvasive ventilation (NIV) or mechanical ventilation (MV). Case Presentation. A 9‐year‐old boy being treated with face mask‐delivered biphasic positive airway pressure ventilation developed fever, tachypnea, and frequent desaturation. The COVID‐19 polymerase chain reaction test and urine antigen test for Streptococcus pneumoniae were both positive, and sputum culture yielded Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The do‐not‐resuscitate order precluded the use of endotracheal intubation. After 2 h of HFNC support, the respiratory rate oxygenation (ROX) index declined from 7.86 to 3.71, indicating impending HFNC failure. A helmet was used to deliver NIV, and SpO2 was maintained at >90%. Dyspnea and desaturation gradually improved, and the patient was switched to HFNC 6 days later and discharged 10 days later. Conclusion. In some cases, acute respiratory distress syndrome severity cannot be measured using the oxygenation index or oxygenation saturation index, and the SpO2/FiO2 ratio and ROX index may serve as useful alternatives. Although NIV delivered through a facemask or HFNC is more popular than helmet‐delivered NIV, in certain circumstances, it can help escalate respiratory support while providing adequate protection to healthcare professionals. Taurine, as a semi-essential amino acid, can enhance the antioxidant and immune capacity of aquatic animals, promote the growth of aquatic animals, and enhance their reproductive performance. In recent years, the addition of taurine in low-protein feed has been considered an effective approach to mitigate the adverse effects caused by deficiency of certain essential and functional amino acids. Such supplementation not only aids in improving the adaptability of aquatic animals to external environments but also enhances their disease resistance, thereby enhancing aquaculture efficiency and yield. The article introduces the basic properties, distribution, biosynthesis pathways, and physiological functions of taurine. It summarizes the role of taurine in the antioxidant capacity, lipid metabolism, growth, and reproductive performance of aquatic animals, aiming to provide a reference for the extensive application of taurine in the field of aquaculture, thereby promoting the sustainable development of the aquaculture industry. To screen for high-yielding and high-quality forage sorghum varieties suitable for inter-membrane cultivation in the Yulin wind-sand grassland area, a randomized block experiment was conducted with seven varieties: Haishi (G1), F1497 (G2), Runbao (G3), Dajiang 1180 (G4), Longcao No.1 (G5), Jintianza No.3 (G6), and Jinmu No.1 (G7), with three replicates for each treatment. The agronomic traits, grass yield, water use efficiency, and nutritional quality of different forage sorghum varieties for fodder were analyzed, and a grey relational evaluation was performed. The results showed that the plant height (350.83 cm) of G1 was significantly lower than G2 (382.90 cm) (P<0.05), but higher than the other treatments. Stem thickness (24.25 mm) of G1 was higher than the other treatments. Fresh grass yield (58.77 t/hm²) of G1 was significantly lower than G4 (P<0.05), but significantly higher than the other treatments except for G3 (P<0.05). Dry grass yield (21.32 t/hm²) of G1 was higher than the other treatments. Water use efficiency [22.14 (kg/hm²)/mm)] of G1 was higher than the other treatments. Crude protein content (4.10%) of G1 was significantly lower than G5 (P<0.05). Sugar hammer degree (17.48%) of G1 was only lower than G6. Relative feeding value (178.19) of G1 was higher than G2, G3, and G4. In the grey relational evaluation, G1 ranked first in the degree of association. The study indicates that the high-yielding and high-quality forage sorghum variety suitable for inter-membrane cultivation in the Yulin wind-sand grassland area is G1. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Berries are highly valued for their rich phenolic content, particularly anthocyanins, which are known for their antioxidative properties and potential effectiveness against depression. This study identified and quantified anthocyanin profiles in blueberry, blackberry, black mulberry, and cranberry using ultra‐performance liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (UPLC–MS), followed by in vivo evaluation of their antidepressant‐like activities. Blueberry and black mulberry showed significant levels of cyanidin‐3‐galactoside and cyanidin. Acute supplementation with these berries decreased serum corticosterone levels and increased monoamine neurotransmitters, while chronic supplementation enhanced antioxidative activity and reduced neuroinflammation in the hippocampus of mice. These findings indicate that the neurochemical, antioxidative, and anti‐inflammatory effects of blueberry and black mulberry mediate their therapeutic role against depression. Berries rich in cyanidin‐3‐galactoside and cyanidin may be valuable in developing functional foods, dietary supplements, and pharmacological formulations for mental health improvement. This study presents a novel real-time prediction technique for multi-degree-of-freedom ship motion and resting periods utilizing Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks. The primary objective is to enhance the safety and efficiency of shipborne helicopter landings by accurately predicting heave, pitch, and roll data over an 8 s forecast horizon. The proposed method utilizes the LSTM network's capability to model complex nonlinear time series while employing the User Datagram Protocol (UDP) to ensure efficient data transmission. The model's performance was validated using real-world ship motion data collected across various sea states, achieving a maximum prediction error of less than 15%. The findings indicate that the LSTM-based model provides reliable predictions of ship resting periods, which are crucial for safe helicopter operations in adverse sea conditions. This method's capability to provide real-time predictions with minimal computational overhead highlights its potential for broader applications in marine engineering. Future research should explore integrating multi-model fusion techniques to enhance the model's adaptability to rapidly changing sea conditions and improve the prediction accuracy. Approximately one-third of all mammalian genes are essential for life. Phenotypes resulting from knockouts of these genes in mice have provided tremendous insight into gene function and congenital disorders. As part of the International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium effort to generate and phenotypically characterize 5,000 knockout mouse lines, here we identify 410 lethal genes during the production of the first 1,751 unique gene knockouts. Using a standardized phenotyping platform that incorporates high-resolution 3D imaging, we identify phenotypes at multiple time points for previously uncharacterized genes and additional phenotypes for genes with previously reported mutant phenotypes. Unexpectedly, our analysis reveals that incomplete penetrance and variable expressivity are common even on a defined genetic background. In addition, we show that human disease genes are enriched for essential genes, thus providing a dataset that facilitates the prioritization and validation of mutations identified in clinical sequencing efforts.
