Six degree-of-freedom (6-DoF) ground motion measurements are recorded combining a rotational sensor and a seismometer. This allows in principle to determine the back azimuth of a moving source using a single point measurement. We investigated the movement of a vibroseis truck operated from 20 November 2019, 11:00 UTC to 21 November 2019, 14:00 UTC. We used 480 Sweep signals each lasting 15 seconds in a broad frequency range between 7 to 120 Hz from 160 different locations. We derived back azimuths for each sweep from 6 DoF data and calculated root mean square amplitudes of each ground rotation component. We repeat this procedure for 5 other nearby rotational sensors of the same type. Within the first day, the North pointing rotation axis of all sensors recorded larger amplitude signals at the beginning of the experiment proving that SV shear wave energy is dominant. Later, we observed larger amplitudes on the East component following the direction of the moving vibroseis truck. Conventional methods to locate a seismic source rely on the P wave polarization or arrival times measured with a network of stations. Objectives: This study aims to evaluate left ventricular functions using speckle-tracking echocardiography (STE) in patients with anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV). Patients and methods: Between June 2018 and July 2019, a total of 31 AAV patients (17 males, 14 females; median age: 53 years; range, 47 to 62 years) and 21 healthy controls (11 males, 10 females; median age: 56 years; range, 46 to 60 years) were included in the study. Clinical and biochemical characteristics of all participants were recorded. All participants underwent conventional and two-dimensional STE. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was performed to determine the cut-off value of serum N-terminal prohormone of brain natriuretic peptide (NT-pro-BNP) that predicted subclinical left ventricular dysfunction. The Spearman correlation analysis was used to determine the correlation between left ventricular global longitudinal strain (LV-GLS) and NT-pro-BNP. Results: The LV-GLS was lower in AAV patients (19.3% vs. 21.7%, respectively; p=0.014). NT-pro-BNP was negatively correlated with LV-GLS (p=0.005, r=0.401). Conclusion: Subclinical left ventricular dysfunction can be detected by STE in patients with AAV who have free of clinically overt cardiovascular disease. The LV-GLS is negatively correlated with serum NT-pro-BNP levels.

The aim of robust social learning networks such as eTwinning, which is a part of Erasmus internationality programs, is to foster and promote the creation and development of awareness for respect, tolerance,and understanding by ensuring the integration of young people from different countries and cultures through dialogue. Phenomenological research design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in this research in which the experiences of teacher candidates regarding the eTwinning project were analyzed. The focus of the transnational collaboration was that student teachers from different cultures use eTwinning’s secure and safe digital platform, Twinspace, to contribute to their cultural, personal,and professional development and competences through eTwinning activities. The study group of the research represents 30 (4 males, 26 females) student teachers studying in Turkey (2 universities), Italy (1 university), Germany (1 university),and France (1 university). Participants were between the ages of 18-24. A semi-structured interview form (Google Form) developed by the researchers was used as the qualitative data collection tool. The content analysis method was used for data analysis. The student teachers researched, analyzed,and compared their teacher training systems of the four project countries, to identify the skills and cultural differences required as a pre-service primary school teacher in the 21st century.

The role of innovation in economic development has long been a topic of discussion among economists. Despite that, the economic pay-off mechanisms which support or hinder innovative entrepreneurial acts, particularly in the emerging economy context are significantly underexplored in academic studies. In this study, we aim to fill this important gap in the literature by taking Baumol’s contestable markets theory and the typology of productive and unproductive entrepreneurship. As Baumol has advocated, the economies that offer higher pay-offs to productive entrepreneurial acts are more likely to thrive mainly due to the increased capacity of economic growth, while developing and poor economies struggle. In this study, we posit that in the developing and emerging market contexts, formal policies are claimed to prioritize the production of more innovative and productive start-ups and a climate that supports and fosters productive entrepreneurial acts. Despite that, there are still major administrative, social and cultural barriers towards creation of innovative start-ups and a productive entrepreneurship ecosystem. Here, continuing political, economic and social support towards unproductive entrepreneurship acts, in particular real-estate entrepreneurship emerges as one of the main factors that hinder the flow of funds towards innovation and technology. We thus argue that, being unable to balance the role of these unproductive entrepreneurial acts with productive ones in economy significantly deteriorates the sustainable economic growth and a high standard of living in emerging and developing economy contexts. In the implications section, several precautions and support mechanisms for overcoming the barriers towards productive entrepreneurship are presented and discussed.

Background Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) derived ventricular volumes and function guide clinical decision-making for various cardiac pathologies. We aimed to evaluate the efficiency and clinical applicability of a commercially available artificial intelligence (AI) method for performing biventricular volumetric analysis. Methods Three-hundred CMR studies (100 with normal CMR findings, 50 dilated cardiomyopathy, 50 hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, 50 ischaemic heart disease and 50 congenital or valvular heart disease) were randomly selected from database. Manual biventricular volumetric analysis (CMRtools) results were derived from clinical reports and automated volumetric analyses were performed using short axis volumetry AI function of CircleCVI42v5.12 software. For 20 studies, a combined method of manually adjusted AI contours was tested and all three methods were timed. Clinicians` confidence in AI method was assessed using an online survey. Results Although agreement was better for left ventricle than right ventricle, AI analysis results were comparable to manual method. Manual adjustment of AI contours further improved agreement: within subject coefficient of variation decreased from 5.0–4.5% for left ventricular ejection fraction (EF) and from 9.9–7.1% for right ventricular EF. Twenty manual analyses were performed in 250min12s whereas same task took 5min48s using AI method. Clinicians were open to adopt AI but concerns about accuracy and validity were raised. Conclusions The AI method provides clinically valid outcomes and saves significant time. To address concerns raised by survey participants and overcome shortcomings of the automated myocardial segmentation, visual assessment of contours and performing manual corrections where necessary appears to be a practical approach.

In this paper, the approximation properties and the rate of convergence of modified bivariate Bernstein-Durrmeyer Operators on a triangular region are examined. Furthermore, definitions and some properties of modulus of continuity for functions of two variables are given. Voronovskaya and Gr\"{u}ss Voronovskaja type theorems are used to determine the order of approximation. The GBS (Generalized Boolean Sum) operator of Bivariate Bernstein-Durrmeyer type on a triangular region is studied. Lastly, some numerical examples are given and related graphs are plotted for comparison.

Rotational motions can be recorded directly or derived from translational motion recordings. Fairly new rotational sensors allow seismologists to directly record and investigate rotational motions. In order to further investigate and compare recently developed rotational sensors an experiment was made in Fürstenfeldbruck. Within this scope, a vibroseis truck was operated starting from 20 November 2019, 11:00 UTC until 21 November 2019, 14:00 UTC. We recorded 480 Sweep signals at 160 different locations. The truck was operating at 30%, 50%, and 70% relative to a peak force output of 276 kN exciting the ground vertically and each sweep lasted 15 seconds starting with 7 Hz increased up to 120 Hz. We derived back azimuths of each sweep from 6 rotational sensors and calculated root mean squares of each component. We observed that within the first day, the North component of all sensors recorded the largest ground motion energy SV type of energy is dominant. The sweep sources were distributed over two North–South profiles and two East–West profiles. While the truck moved to the east and its location moved from west to south of the rotational sensors, the signals dominate more and more on the East component.. From our preliminary results, we state that although having different signal to noise ratios all rotational sensor calculated the direction of each sweep. Thus, we can follow the movements of vibroseis truck using all rotational sensors.

Sesame is an essential plant in terms of both the quality and quantity of oil it contains and the fact that it can be cultivated in various places of Turkey. In Mardin Province, no studies have been conducted to determine the best time to sow sesame cultivars (Sesamum indicum L.). In this study, ten different sesame cultivars were analyzed; these were Arslanbey, Boydak, Cumhuriyet 99, Hatipoğlu, Muganlı 57, Orhangazi 99, Osmanlı 99, Sarısu, Tan 99, and Tanas. Sesame cultivars were sown as the second crop on four separate dates in these lowland environments, where it is possible to have two crops each year due to the climate of the region. Values of these cultivars such as plant height (cm), number of lateral branches (unit/plant), number of capsules (unit/plant), seed yield (kg ha-1), oil rate (%), and oil yield (kg ha-1) examined. Different sowing dates were found to have a statistically significant effect on sesame cultivars. The second sowing date resulted in the highest plant height, number of branches, number of capsules, seed yield, oil content, and oil yield (June 15). In terms of cultivars, Boydak had the largest seed production (1907 kg ha-1), Ottoman 99 (54.6%) had the highest oil rate, and Boydak had the highest oil yield (1062 kg ha-1). The Boydak cultivar is promising for high seed and oil yields in the second crop sowing, and a sowing date of June 15 is advised.

Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.], with high oil and protein content, is one of the world's main nutritional sources and millions of hectares are given over to its cultivation. Intensive farming, producing multiple crops per year (such as second-crop soybean cultivation), can improve natural resource exploitation and productivity. An optimal sowing date avoids significant yield losses. This research was carried out in the plain conditions of Mardin province in Turkey in 2018 and 2019. Since the region is suitable for growing double crops per year, soybean field trials were carried out both as a main crop and as a second-cropped. The A-3127, Arısoy, Ataem-7, Blaze, Bravo, Cinsoy, Gapsoy-16, Lider, May-5312, Nova, SA-88, and Umut-2002 cultivars were used as plant material in this research. The first sowing took place on April 16, the second on April 25, the third on June 15, and the fourth on June 30 in both years of the research. Two sowings were main crop, while the other two were second-crop. A-3127 and Gapsoy-16 cultivars produced the highest seed yields (3700.1 and 3693.8 kg ha-1, respectively). The Gapsoy-16, Arısoy, A-3127, and Cinsoy cultivars yielded the most oil yield (675.7, 675.6, 661.8, and 661.8 kg ha-1, respectively). The study determined that early sowing increases overall yield and late sowing decreases seed yield significantly (on average by 30%). However, both in this region and in areas with similar agricultural environments where double-crop can be grown each year, early varieties for a second-crop may be recommended to reduce the vegetable food and oil deficit.

In this study, the term resilience has been examined in terms of ecological, economic, and cultural parameters specific to residential areas. Recently, changing needs and increasing the speed of change due to developing technology are reflected as internal and external threats to residential areas. Change is inevitable for each parameter over time, but it can also pose a threat to the morphology and identity of residential areas. The buffer zone to be created by the residential areas against this threat reduces the severity of the incoming impact and revises it and provides the adaptation of identity and morphology dynamics to the new situation with its resilience. In the first part of the study, the identity of the settlements and the resilience factor against change/transformation threats are explained according to the definitions in the literature. In the second part, the dynamics of rural settlement morphology are defined and the effect of rural resistance on the dynamics is presented. In the last part, a stratification analysis is made according to certain year intervals over the Kargalı district (village) of the Polatlı District of Ankara. The sample was analyzed in terms of rural area, road traces, environmental location relations, structural boundaries, landmarks, and the changes/transformations of all these morphology dynamics over time, its resilience, and adaptation/mutation processes. The effects and possible results of the resilience of rural settlements for sustainable rural settlement, which are more affected by similar internal or external threats than urban, on the dynamics of settlement morphology and resident over time, constitute the desired findings of the study.
