G-10 AVO FRIENDLY PROCESSING BEFORE MIGRATION Introduction 1 AVO friendly processing requires an integrated processing sequence that is specifically focused on both structural fidelity and primary amplitude preservation. Among the many vital components of such a flow are pre-stack (partial) migration coherent and incoherent noise removal and consistent amplitude recovery. In this paper we discuss an AVO friendly integrated processing sequence with particular emphasis on the following aspects important to present day 3D massive marine seismic processing: AVO friendly Radon de-multiple and high fidelity (HiFi) DMO for improving the amplitude behavior at near offsets.
