Abstract: This article covers ten years of GRB follow-ups by the Spanish BOOTES stations: 71 follow-ups providing 23 detections. Follow-ups by BOOTES-1B from 2005 to 2008 were given in the previous article, and are here reviewed, updated, and include additional detection data points as the former article merely stated their existence. The all-sky cameras CASSANDRA have not yet detected any GRB optical afterglows, but limits are reported where available.

Abstract: eXTP is a science mission designed to study the state of matter under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. Primary targets include isolated and binary neutron stars, strong magnetic field systems like magnetars, and stellar-mass and supermassive black holes. The mission carries a unique and unprecedented suite of state-of-the-art scientific instruments enabling for the first time ever the simultaneous spectral-timing-polarimetry studies of cosmic sources in the energy range from 0.5-30 keV (and beyond). Key elements of the payload are: the Spectroscopic Focusing Array (SFA) - a set of 11 X-ray optics for a total effective area of about 0.9 m^2 and 0.6 m^2 at 2 keV and 6 keV respectively, equipped with Silicon Drift Detectors offering <180 eV spectral resolution; the Large Area Detector (LAD) - a deployable set of 640 Silicon Drift Detectors, for a total effective area of about 3.4 m^2, between 6 and 10 keV, and spectral resolution <250 eV; the Polarimetry Focusing Array (PFA) - a set of 2 X-ray telescope, for a total effective area of 250 cm^2 at 2 keV, equipped with imaging gas pixel photoelectric polarimeters; the Wide Field Monitor (WFM) - a set of 3 coded mask wide field units, equipped with position-sensitive Silicon Drift Detectors, each covering a 90 degrees x 90 degrees FoV. The eXTP international consortium includes mostly major institutions of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Universities in China, as well as major institutions in several European countries and the United States. The predecessor of eXTP, the XTP mission concept, has been selected and funded as one of the so-called background missions in the Strategic Priority Space Science Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences since 2011. The strong European participation has significantly enhanced the scientific capabilities of eXTP. The planned launch date of the mission is earlier than 2025., Comment: 16 pages, 16 figures. Abstract: OJ287 is a quasi-periodic quasar with roughly 12 year optical cycles. It displays prominent outbursts which are predictable in a binary black hole model. The model predicted a major optical outburst in December 2015. We found that the outburst did occur within the expected time range, peaking on 2015 December 5 at magnitude 12.9 in the optical R-band. Based on Swift/XRT satellite measurements and optical polarization data, we find that it included a major thermal component. Its timing provides an accurate estimate for the spin of the primary black hole, chi = 0.313 +- 0.01. The present outburst also confirms the established general relativistic properties of the system such as the loss of orbital energy to gravitational radiation at the 2 % accuracy level and it opens up the possibility of testing the black hole no-hair theorem with a 10 % accuracy during the present decade.

Abstract: A gravitational-wave (GW) transient was identified in data recorded by the Advanced Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO) detectors on 2015 September 14. The event, initially designated G184098 and later given the name GW150914, is described in detail elsewhere. By prior arrangement, preliminary estimates of the time, significance, and sky location of the event were shared with 63 teams of observers covering radio, optical, near-infrared, X-ray, and gamma-ray wavelengths with ground- and space-based facilities. In this Letter we describe the low-latency analysis of the GW data and present the sky localization of the first observed compact binary merger. We summarize the follow-up observations reported by 25 teams via private Gamma-ray Coordinates Network circulars, giving an overview of the participating facilities, the GW sky localization coverage, the timeline and depth of the observations. As this event turned out to be a binary black hole merger, there is little expectation of a detectable electromagnetic (EM) signature. Nevertheless, this first broadband campaign to search for a counterpart of an Advanced LIGO source represents a milestone and highlights the broad capabilities of the transient astronomy community and the observing strategies that have been developed to pursue neutron star binary merger events. Abstract: Only a few red dwarf flaring stars in the solar neighbourhood have undergone exceptional events called superflares. They have been detected with high-energy satellites (i.e. Swift) and have been proven to be powerful events (both in intensity and energy) and potentially hazardous for any extraterrestial life. The physics of these events can be understood as an extrapolation of the (much) weaker activity already occurring in the most powerful solar flares occurring in the Sun. Nevertheless, the origin (why?) these superflares occur is currently unknown. A recent study presents the optical and X-ray long-term evolution of the emission by the super-flare from the red-dwarf star DG CVn undertaken in 2014. Abstract: The sulfur curing system, peroxide curing system and their combinations were applied for the cross-linking of unfilled and carbon black-filled rubber formulations based on ethylene-propylenediene-monomer rubber. The results demonstrated that the type of curing system influenced the course and shape of curing isotherms. This resulted in the change of curing kinetics of rubber compounds. The cross-link density of materials cured with combined vulcanization systems was lower than that for vulcanizates cured with the peroxide or sulfur system. Good correlation between the cross-link density as well as the structure of the formed cross-links and physical–mechanical characteristics of the cured materials was established. Both filled and unfilled vulcanizates cured with combined vulcanization systems exhibited a higher tensile strength and elongation at break when compared to their equivalents vulcanized in the presence of the peroxide or sulfur curing system. It can be stated that by proper combination of vulcanization systems, it is possible to modify the tensile behavior of vulcanizates in a targeted manner. On the other side, dynamical–mechanical properties were found not be significantly influenced by the curing system composition.

Abstract: We present a summary of the results of the OJ 287 observational campaign, which was carried out during the 2021/2022 observational season. This season is special in the binary model because the major axis of the precessing binary happens to lie almost exactly in the plane of the accretion disc of the primary. This leads to pairs of almost identical impacts between the secondary black hole and the accretion disk in 2005 and 2022. In 2005, a special flare called “blue flash” was observed 35 days after the disk impact, which should have also been verifiable in 2022. We did observe a similar flash and were able to obtain more details of its properties. We describe this in the framework of expanding cloud models. In addition, we were able to identify the flare arising exactly at the time of the disc crossing from its photo-polarimetric and gamma-ray properties. This is an important identification, as it directly confirms the orbit model. Moreover, we saw a huge flare that lasted only one day. We may understand this as the lighting up of the jet of the secondary black hole when its Roche lobe is suddenly flooded by the gas from the primary disk. Therefore, this may be the first time we directly observed the secondary black hole in the OJ 287 binary system.

Abstract: The safety of machinery is a very important aspect for its correct functioning in the conditions of modern production or assembly. According to the standards, manufacturers of special-purpose machines and devices are obliged to provide their equipment with a certificate of conformity (CE). This article describes the concerns of insufficient safety of a device. Insufficient coverage of part of the line meant that the certification did not take place, and the safety requirements were not met. The TRIZ method was used to resolve this technical discrepancy, providing designers with "instructions" on how to proceed, solve complex problems at the level of discrepancies and create solutions. By agreement of the designers, a solution that was not economically and implementation-intensive was created. All doors and windows within the fencing have been reinforced, thus achieving a greater degree of security. The resulting solution was subjected to simulations in the Ansys Workbench program, and the FEM analysis led to certain conclusions. The results were then moved to the structural engineer to assess the solution, who then approved the solution and successful certification of part of the device, respectively, in the assembly line.

Abstract: Insertion losses (ILs) of power electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) filters are measured often up to the relatively high GHz region, usually by standard microwave 50- $\Omega $ vector network analyzers (VNAs) in accordance with related standards. However, the obtained $S$ -parameters do not correspond to conditions when the filters are connected to impedances of actual power sources and loads. Evaluated examples show that actual operational ILs can be significantly lower than values obtained directly from 50- $\Omega $ measurements. The presented virtual measurement method uses 50- $\Omega S$ -parameter measurements and subsequently processes the data using the newly derived evaluation formulas applicable for any filter sources and loads at any frequencies. Parameters of three different particular power cables employed as practical sources and loads are measured in the frequency band from 0.1 to 10 GHz. These data are used for the proposed advanced insertion loss calculations. The results demonstrate the influences of practical cable input impedances on power filter ILs for common-mode (CM) and differential-mode (DM) transmissions, and their conversions. Related to common 50- $\Omega $ measurements, the operational IL drops can reach almost 40 dB for CM–CM transmissions, 5 dB for DM–DM transmissions, and 20 dB for CM–DM conversions. This proves that the practical information capabilities of the standard 50- $\Omega $ evaluation are really limited.

Abstract: Sugar beet production is highly affected by weeds. The structure of crop rotation, the use of intercrops and different tillage techniques bring several benefits to sugar beet cultivation and create different living conditions for weeds. The response of weed communities in sugar beet stands has not been studied. The experimental plot is in the cadastral area of Ivanovice na Hané (Czech Republic). During an eight-year monitoring period (2013-2020), 46 weed species were identified. The dominant species was Chenopodium album. There were also summer and winter weeds. A more varied crop rotation increased the intensity of weed infestation, with winter weeds being the most common. On the contrary, a higher proportion of cereals in the crop structure favors the presence of summer weeds. The tillage technology and the inclusion of catch crops did not significantly affect the intensity of weed infestation in sugar beet stands or the spectrum of weed species. Current cropping technologies have driven the evolution of weeds. Abstract: BackgroundThe World Health Organization World Mental Health International College Student (WMH-ICS) initiative aims to screen for mental health and substance use problems among postsecondary students on a global scale as well as to develop and evaluate evidence-based preventive and ameliorative interventions for this population. This protocol paper presents the Canadian version of the WMH-ICS survey, detailing the adapted survey instrument, the unique weekly cross-sectional administration, the multitiered recruitment strategy, and the associated risk mitigation protocols. ObjectiveThis paper aims to provide a methodological resource for researchers conducting cross-national comparisons of WMH-ICS data, as well as to serve as a useful guide for those interested in replicating the outlined cross-sectional methodology to better understand how mental health and substance use vary over time among university students. MethodsThe online survey is based on the WMH-ICS survey instrument, modified to the Canadian context by the addition of questions pertaining to Canadian-based guidelines and the translation of the survey to Canadian French. The survey is administered through the Qualtrics survey platform and is sent to an independent stratified random sample of 350 students per site weekly, followed by two reminder emails. Upon survey closure every week, a random subsample of 70 nonresponders are followed up with via phone or through a personal email in an effort to decrease nonresponder bias. The survey is accompanied by an extensive risk mitigation protocol that stratifies respondents by the level of need and provides tailored service recommendations, including a facilitated expedited appointment to student counseling services for those at increased risk of suicide. The anticipated sample size is approximately 5500 students per site per year. ResultsIn February 2020, the Canadian survey was deployed at the University of British Columbia. This was followed by deployment at Simon Fraser University (November 2020), McMaster University (January 2021), and the University of Toronto (January 2022). Data collection at all 4 sites is ongoing. As of May 6, 2022, 29,503 responses have been collected. ConclusionsBased on international collaboration, the Canadian version of the WMH-ICS survey incorporates a novel methodological approach centered on the weekly administration of a comprehensive cross-sectional survey to independent stratified random samples of university students. After 27 months of consecutive survey administration, we have developed and refined a survey protocol that has proven effective in engaging students at four Canadian institutions, allowing us to track how mental health and substance use vary over time using an internationally developed university student survey based on the criteria from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (Fifth Edition). Abstract: The article presents a search for links between the Periodic Technical Inspections of Vehicles (TI) and traffic accidents due to vehicle technical defects in the Slovak Republic. Based on these links, it is sought to assess the justification for TI regarding the road safety. For this purpose, statistical data on traffic accidents, caused by vehicle technical defects as well as data concerning TI carried out were examined. The first finding was that the approaching end of the validity of the TI, the probability of traffic accidents due to technical defects increases for vehicles. The second finding was that with the increasing number of vehicles assessed at the Periodical Technical Inspection Stations (PTI) as temporarily roadworthy and not roadworthy, the number of accidents due to vehicle technical defects was decreasing. The results formulated in this paper show that the TI have a measurable effect on traffic accidents caused by vehicle technical defects, thus positively affecting the road safety and thus having a demonstrable justification.

Abstract: BackgroundDigital mental health interventions are increasingly prevalent in the current context of rapidly evolving technology, and research indicates that they yield effectiveness outcomes comparable to in-person treatment. Integrating professionals (ie, psychologists and physicians) into digital mental health interventions has become common, and the inclusion of guidance within programs can increase adherence to interventions. However, employing professionals to enhance mental health programs may undermine the scalability of digital interventions. Therefore, delegating guidance tasks to paraprofessionals (peer supporters, technicians, lay counsellors, or other nonclinicians) can help reduce costs and increase accessibility. ObjectiveThis systematic review and meta-analysis evaluates the effectiveness, adherence, and other process outcomes of nonclinician-guided digital mental health interventions. MethodsFour databases (MEDLINE, Embase, CINAHL, and PsycINFO) were searched for randomized controlled trials published between 2010 and 2020 examining digital mental health interventions. Three journals that focus on digital intervention were hand searched; gray literature was searched using ProQuest and the Cochrane Central Register of Control Trials (CENTRAL). Two researchers independently assessed risk of bias using the Cochrane risk-of-bias tool version 2. Data were collected on effectiveness, adherence, and other process outcomes, and meta-analyses were conducted for effectiveness and adherence outcomes. Nonclinician-guided interventions were compared with treatment as usual, clinician-guided interventions, and unguided interventions. ResultsThirteen studies qualified for inclusion. Nonclinician-guided interventions yielded higher posttreatment effectiveness outcomes when compared to conditions involving control programs (eg, online psychoeducation and monitored attention control) or wait-list controls (k=7, Hedges g=–0.73; 95% CI –1.08 to –0.38). There were also significant differences between nonclinician-guided interventions and unguided interventions (k=6, Hedges g=–0.17; 95% CI –0.23 to –0.11). In addition, nonclinician-guided interventions did not differ in effectiveness from clinician-guided interventions (k=3, Hedges g=0.08; 95% CI –0.01 to 0.17). These results suggest that guided digital mental health interventions are helpful to improve mental health outcomes regardless of the qualifications of the individual performing the intervention, and that the presence of a nonclinician guide improves effectiveness outcomes compared to having no guide. Nonclinician-guided interventions did not yield significantly different adherence outcomes when compared with unguided interventions (k=3, odds ratio 1.58; 95% CI 0.51 to 4.92), although a general trend of improved adherence was observed within nonclinician-guided interventions. ConclusionsIntegrating paraprofessionals and nonclinicians appears to improve the outcomes of digital mental health interventions, and may also enhance adherence outcomes (though this trend was nonsignificant). Further research should focus on the specific types of tasks these paraprofessionals can successfully provide (ie, psychosocial support, therapeutic alliance, and technical augmentation) and their associated outcomes. Abstract: According to figures provided by the European Commission, more than 20,000 people die each year when traveling in the European Union (Press release European Commission, 2021). In 2019, the EU average of road accidents was 51 deaths per million inhabitants, with significant differences between low and high accident rates. In the Slovak Republic, drivers with a driving experience of up to 5 years (approximately 25%) cause fatal accidents every year, while drivers who belong to this group make up only 11.6% of all drivers (Statistical overviews of the agenda of traffic accident in the Slovak Republic and complete statistics Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic, 2022). One of the causes of this condition can be sought directly in driving schools. The main goal of the paper is to analyse the system of driving schools based on selected criteria in selected thirteen EU countries (Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Sweden), which show differences in numbers. People killed in traffic accidents and compare them with the system of driving schools in the Slovak Republic. The paper also looks for a link between the number of fatal traffic accidents in a given country and the driving school system.

Abstract: Be/X-ray binary systems provide an excellent opportunity to study the physics around neutron stars through the study of the behaviour of matter around them. Intermediate and low-luminosity type outbursts are interesting because they provide relatively clean environments around neutron stars. In these conditions the physics of the magnetosphere around the neutron star can be better studied without being very disturbed by other phenomena regarding the transfer of matter between the two components of the Be/X-ray binary system. A recent study presents the optical longterm evolution of the Be/X-ray binary V 0332+53 plus the X-ray emission mainly during the intermediate-luminosity outburst on 2008. Abstract: DG CVn is a binary system in which one of the components is an M type dwarf ultra fast rotator, only three of which are known in the solar neighborhood. Observations of DG CVn by the Swift satellite and several ground-based observatories during its super-flare event on 2014 allowed us to perform a complete hard X-ray - optical follow-up of a super-flare from the red-dwarf star. The observations support the fact that the super-flare can be explained by the presence of (a) large active region(s) on the surface of the star. Such activity is similar to the most extreme solar flaring events. In addition, we present recent data from the Spanish ground-based astronomical observatories of El Teide (Tenerife), Roque de los Muchachos (La Palma), and Sierra Nevada (Granada), and since 2006 from the Turkish TUBITAK National Observatory (Antalya). We have performed temporal analyses to investigate the transient behaviour of this system during several outbursts. Results: Our optical study revealed that continuous mass ejection episodes from the Be star have been taking place since 2006 and another one is currently ongoing. The broad-band 1-60 keV X-ray spectrum of the neutron star during the decay of the 2008 outburst was well fitted with standard phenomenological models, enhanced by an absorption feature of unknown origin at about 10 keV and a narrow iron K-alpha fluorescence line at 6.4 keV. For the first time in V 0332+53 we tentatively see an increase of the cyclotron line energy with increasing flux (although further and more sensitive observations are needed to confirm this). Regarding the fast aperiodic variability, we detect a Quasi-Periodic Oscillation (QPO) at 227+-9 mHz only during the lowest luminosities. Abstract: In our previous studies, Lactobacillus reuteri B1/1, which was renamed Limosilactobacillus reuteri (L. reuteri), was able to modulate the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and other components of the innate immune response in vitro and in vivo. In this study, we evaluated the effect of Lactobacillus reuteri B1/1 in two concentrations (1 × 107 and 1 × 109 CFU) on the metabolic activity, adherence ability and relative gene expression of pro-inflammatory interleukins (IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, IL-18), lumican and olfactomedin 4 produced by non-carcinogenic porcine-derived enterocytes (CLAB). CLAB cells were cultured in a 12-well cell culture plate at a concentration of 4 × 105 cells/well in DMEM medium in a controlled humidified atmosphere for 48 h. A 1 mL volume of each probiotic bacterial suspension was added to the CLAB cells. Plates were incubated for 2 h and 4 h. Our results revealed that L. reuteri B1/1 was able to adhere to CLAB cells in sufficient numbers in both concentrations. In particular, the concentration of 109 L. reuteri B1/1 allowed to modulate the gene expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines, as well as to increase the metabolic activity of the cells. In addition, administration of L. reuteri B1/1 in both concentrations significantly stimulated gene expression for both proteins in the CLAB cell line after 4 h of incubation.

237. Preparticipation Screening of Athletes: The Prevalence of Positive Family History

Abstract: Sudden cardiac death (SCD) is a leading cause of death among athletes, and those with a positive family history (FH) of SCD and/or cardiovascular disease (CVD) may be at increased risk. The primary objective of this study was to assess the prevalence and predictors of positive FH of SCD and CVD in athletes using four widely used preparticipation screening (PPS) systems. The secondary objective was to compare the functionality of the screening systems. In a cohort of 13,876 athletes, 1.28% had a positive FH in at least one PPS system. Multivariate logistic regression analysis identified the maximum heart rate as significantly associated with positive FH (OR = 1.042, 95% CI = 1.027–1.056, p < 0.001). The highest prevalence of positive FH was found using the PPE-4 system (1.20%), followed by FIFA, AHA, and IOC systems (1.11%, 0.89%, and 0.71%, respectively). In conclusion, the prevalence of positive FH for SCD and CVD in Czech athletes was found to be 1.28%. Furthermore, positive FH was associated with a higher maximum heart rate at the peak of the exercise test. The findings of this study revealed significant differences in detection rates between PPS protocols, so further research is needed to determine the optimal method of FH collection.

238. A New Deep-Learning Method for Human Activity Recognition

Abstract: Currently, three-dimensional convolutional neural networks (3DCNNs) are a popular approach in the field of human activity recognition. However, due to the variety of methods used for human activity recognition, we propose a new deep-learning model in this paper. The main objective of our work is to optimize the traditional 3DCNN and propose a new model that combines 3DCNN with Convolutional Long Short-Term Memory (ConvLSTM) layers. Our experimental results, which were obtained using the LoDVP Abnormal Activities dataset, UCF50 dataset, and MOD20 dataset, demonstrate the superiority of the 3DCNN + ConvLSTM combination for recognizing human activities. Furthermore, our proposed model is well-suited for real-time human activity recognition applications and can be further enhanced by incorporating additional sensor data. To provide a comprehensive comparison of our proposed 3DCNN + ConvLSTM architecture, we compared our experimental results on these datasets. We achieved a precision of 89.12% when using the LoDVP Abnormal Activities dataset. Meanwhile, the precision we obtained using the modified UCF50 dataset (UCF50mini) and MOD20 dataset was 83.89% and 87.76%, respectively. Overall, our work demonstrates that the combination of 3DCNN and ConvLSTM layers can improve the accuracy of human activity recognition tasks, and our proposed model shows promise for real-time applications.

239. Timepix3: Compensation of Thermal Distortion of Energy Measurement

Abstract: The Timepix3 is a hybrid pixellated radiation detector consisting of a 256 px × 256 px radiation-sensitive matrix. Research has shown that it is susceptible to energy spectrum distortion due to temperature variations. This can lead to a relative measurement error of up to 35% in the tested temperature range of 10 °C to 70 °C. To overcome this issue, this study proposes a complex compensation method to reduce the error to less than 1%. The compensation method was tested with different radiation sources, focusing on energy peaks up to 100 keV. The results of the study showed that a general model for temperature distortion compensation could be established, where the error in the X-ray fluorescence spectrum of Lead (74.97 keV) was reduced from 22% to less than 2% for 60 °C after the correction was applied. The validity of the model was also verified at temperatures below 0 °C, where the relative measurement error for the Tin peak (25.27 keV) was reduced from 11.4% to 2.1% at −40 °C. The results of this study demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed compensation method and models in significantly improving the accuracy of energy measurements. This has implications for various fields of research and industry that require accurate radiation energy measurements and cannot afford to use power for cooling or temperature stabilisation of the detector.

Abstract: Silicon (Si) is a promising anode material due to its high theoretical capacity and abundant presence as the second most common element in the earth's crust. However, the formation of an unstable solid-electrolyte interphase (SEI) and significant volume expansion during lithiation result in structural degradation, leading to a decrease in the cycle life for Si-based anodes. This paper reports on the electrochemical performance of the silicon/graphite (Si/Gr) electrodes coated with nanometer-thick ZnO layers prepared by atomic layer deposition (ALD). In our study, ZnO layers were deposited using 5–40 ALD cycles on Si/Gr electrodes of ∼20 μm thickness. Electrochemical measurements such as galvanostatic charging/discharging at different C-rates and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were performed utilizing the pristine and 5–40 ALD cycles of ZnO on Si/Gr electrodes in a half-cell configuration. The Si/Gr electrodes (pristine and ZnO-coated) were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) before and after electrochemical cell cycling. The ZnO-coated samples showed a better electrochemical rate performance than the uncoated pristine Si/Gr sample. The reversible conversion of the ZnO ALD films was demonstrated through dQ/dV plots and XPS analysis during (de)-lithiation. The ultrathin ZnO layers passivate the underlying Si/Gr electrodes, help in the formation of a stable SEI layer, and facilitate lithium-ion transport through the SEI layer. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract: Intracranial aneurysm (IA) is now a common term closely associated with subarachnoid hemorrhage. IA is the bulging of a blood vessel caused by a weakening of its wall. This bulge can rupture and, in most cases, cause internal bleeding. In most cases, internal bleeding leads to death or other fatal consequences. Therefore, the development of an automated system for detecting IA is needed to help physicians make more accurate diagnoses. For this reason, we have focused on this problem. In this paper, we propose a 2D Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) based on a network commonly used for data classification in medicine. In addition to our proposed network, we also tested ResNet 50, ResNet 101 and ResNet 152 on a publicly available dataset. In this case, ResNet 152 achieved better results than our proposed network, but our network was significantly smaller and the classifications took significantly less time. Our proposed network achieved an overall accuracy of 98%. This result was achieved on a dataset consisting of 611 images. In addition to the mentioned networks, we also experimented with the VGG network, but it was not suitable for this type of data and achieved only 20%. We compare the results in this work with neural networks that have been verified by the scientific community, and we believe that the results obtained by us can help in the creation of an automated system for the detection of IA. Abstract: Rubber blends based on styrene–butadiene rubber, ethylene–propylene–diene monomer rubber and a combination of both rubbers were cured with different sulfur and peroxide curing systems. In sulfur curing systems, two type of accelerators, namely tetramethylthiuram disulfide, N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazole sulfenamide, and combinations of both accelerators were used. In peroxide curing systems, dicumyl peroxide, and a combination of dicumyl peroxide with zinc diacrylate or zinc dimethacrylate, respectively, were applied. The work was aimed at investigating the effect of curing systems composition as well as the type of rubber or rubber combinations on the curing process, cross-link density and physical–mechanical properties of vulcanizates. The dynamic mechanical properties of the selected vulcanizates were examined too. The results revealed a correlation between the cross-link density and physical–mechanical properties. Similarly, there was a certain correlation between the cross-linking degree and glass transition temperature. The tensile strength of vulcanizates based on rubber combinations was higher when compared to that based on pure rubbers, which points out the fact that in rubber combinations, not only are the features of both elastomers combined, but improvement in the tensile characteristics can also be achieved. When compared to vulcanizates cured with dicumyl peroxide, materials cured with a sulfur system exhibited higher tensile strength. With the application of co-agents in peroxide vulcanization, the tensile strength overcame the tensile behavior of sulfur-cured vulcanizates. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract: Area 4 north of the Migdol was the focus of the 2019 season excavations. An apparent well from Phase G3 was discovered with some pottery sherds inside dating from the end of the Middle Kingdom. In the early Eighteenth Dynasty it was turned into a cemetery; seven tombs discovered this season provided the first evidence of suprapositioning of grave structures in this part of the burial ground. The outskirts of the Phase G settlement and cemetery may have been reached in the excavation. Mud-brick structures from Phase F3 were used for domestic and crafting activities. A battery of ovens continued to be excavated. Parts of Phase F2 architecture were excavated beside the Migdol and below the platform of Wall 2. Artifacts and raw materials indicated long-distance contacts. Metal objects (rings, needles) and arrowheads were also discovered. Phase D4 was represented by the remains of a transport route/walkway. Two silos and a fireplace enclosed by a wall dated to phase C.
